Base Design

I am wondering if there's a way to set a view privately just for yourself, so it's not visible for other members. For example, I share the base with member A and B. I wanted to create a view only visible for member B and myself. 

Hello,I am creating a content calendar.In table 1, I would like to see a calendar view of all scheduled tasks.The scheduled tasks are each in their own tables (blogs, newsletters, socials, etc.)How do I take the task name, type, and publish date from the individual tables and pull them into one calendar view?

While trying to configure a new Interface, I triggered this error code:pglf0yHZSVqEHgL60and this message:I was trying to add some field conditions and it choked.I'm pretty sure I mangled something and probably need to clear cache or something.Any ideas are most appreciated.    

The flat design that airtable now has for their iphone app, is making the usability worse and rubbish.Now there is a newly lost sense of hierarchy, there is too much visual noise and the vis-a-vis pairing of keys to their corresponding values, is now lost.Can the old design be put back? 

Hello, I am looking to sync an existing google sheet to airtable. The header in the google sheet that I want to sync is actually Row 2. Am I able to do that or does the header have to be the first row?

I have a linked record field in my table (Table A) where I disallowed the linking with multiple records from Table B. However, when I duplicate a record in Table B that is linked to a record in Table A, the linked record field in Table A gets 2 linked record, even though the linking with multiple records is still disallowed. How can I prevent this to happen?

Our use of Airtable is becoming so big that we really can't have everything in one base, but if we separate our operations into several bases, we're concerned there'll be some loss in terms of the interactions between our work. a few questions:pretty sure i know the answer to this one: is there a way for 2 bases to "talk to each other" and for data to interact with each other through automations or edits?if not, i understand that i can create a synced view to see data from 1 base in the other, but is it only viewing? is there a way to edit back and forth through a synced view?We're using the Pro plan. can we do the above if we're on Enterprise?

Hello! New to Airtable. Trying it out to see whether I can use it for a specific need I have. Scenario: Our community (of around 500 members) have a shared google sheet having each of our basic details. I have imported that to a airtable base. Question: Can I set the permission on the base such that (i) all members can view the table AND (ii) each member of the group can edit their row?Thanks!Varun

Email marketing.In each such table I have the topic (story, post, etc.), the upload date, the content itself and status.I also want to have a master table that will actually contain date, status, comments and also contain a Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and email marketing column (linked columns).I want the main column in the master to be the date and actually when I write a certain date it knew to pull me to my linked columns what needs to be uploaded each day according to each platform.For example, I will choose the date 05/18/2023 - it will automatically fill in the Facebook column what needs to be uploaded that day, in the Instagram column what needs to be uploaded that day, etc.I tried to automate it

Hey friends, maybe salvation will come from here.I try to do progress tracking for my students - that is, if a particular student wrote that they are "doing well" or "need help".Now - I want to find a way to tell Airtable to update the next empty column using an API CALL but I can't figure out how to do it.For example, in the picture I attached - if user1 called "זרם" gives his answer it will be updated in week3 but on the other hand if the other student writes any answer it will go into the week1 column.Does anyone have an idea?thankss

I'm currently facing an issue and would appreciate any insights you might have. Here's the situation:I have two tables: a main "Companies" table and an "Updates" table. In the "Companies" table, I've created a Linked Record field for the "Updates" table. My goal is to have a list of all updates for each company displayed in the "Companies" table.Previously, I had a setup where this worked. The ID field was structured as [Name of Company + Date], and it showed all the related Updates for each Company. However, in my new "Updates" table, the ID field is an Autonumber, and each record has a Link to the corresponding Company from the "Companies" table.With this new setup, the linked updates are not showing up in the main "Companies" table as they used to. I'm unsure if the change in the ID field structure could be causing this issue.(Snapshot of my previous setup for reference)How can I set this up? Is there any workaround? Fo

TLDR; how to I grant 'conditional' creator permissions within a paid workspace?I've built up some pretty robust Bases for my company to track our projects.  We're using airtable as a stop gap solution on the way to a larger ERP software rollout.  I built an interface for every department to use that allows them to view and update relevant information (process tracking, shipping address etc etc), and prevents them from viewing sensitive information (employee addresses etc etc).  No one has access to the Base except for me, everything is done through the interfaces.All of this is happening through a paid PRO workspace, everyone with interface access is a billable collaborator on my workspace.  It just so happens that we've hired a guy who's very fond of airtable and wants to build his own base for his own workflows, and sync a selection of my tables into his base.  I'm fine with that, but I'm not sure how to grant him creator access to the worksp

Hello, Is it possible to have numbers in a base with more than 8 significant figures? We sometimes work with very small numbers ranging from -E10-11 and the current method rounds the numbers/cuts off at 8 decimal points.  Thanks

Hi guys! I was just wondering what is the maximum fields in Airtable (Enterprise or Pro)? I heard that the number is 500, but this is too small for me. I would like to import more than 100.000 products (in records) and for each record I want around 1,200 fields (columns). Does anyone know if this is possible?

I have all my Raw data going into one table, and then I'm syncing it to another table to customize it so it looks more ... understandable, with Dropdown and colour codes and such.  If I change the field types in the Second Table, will the syncing from the Raw table still populate?example: the status field in the second table will be a single select (New, Old, or blah), when a record is synced with a status of 'New' (or dare I dream 'new', will the status be the single select choice of New be selected?Also, what happens if there's an option that isn't in the list?

HiI would like to know how to save images into airtable field while saving data from a webapp UI (build using nocode tools like bubble). Unlike other data fields this image field is not getting saved by following standard approach of mapping table column to the webapp user interface's field's  value.Should scripting extension be used to achieve this (having an url and saving url to image?). Hello! I'm an artist using Airtable to keep track of each artwork that I create. I currently post some artworks on sites that allow me to promote them with affiliate links. Here's what I want to do - if I indicate in my multi-select status field that an artwork has been posted to an affiliate site, I'd like that artwork record added to a new "Affiliate Table" that includes a field for affiliate link. This way I can track individual artworks and larger page section affiliate links on the Affiliate Table. So... how can I do this?

I need to create a private table in a shared based where only select users can VIEW and EDIT. Is this possible? Any extension that could help do this?

Wondering if anybody has an idea for this:I've set up a form for my company in which they can submit a contract request for a talent, and if that talent has an agent ; they can then submit the agency name, contact & info as well. The form entries are set up as a "single line text" because we're constantly working with new talent & agencies, so i don't want to limit managers to a "single select" option, if it means they can't input a new talent/agency.Now what I would like to do is create a tab of all of the agencies we've worked with across the organization, and be able to easily pull together their talent roster. I've tried syncs and linking to fields, but if we work with the same agency more than once - it just creates an all new record, instead of adding their talent to the original record. Has anyone worked out a problem like this before?

Original base primary field was not useful [Newbie design]. It is 312 records. The data will not change and no records will be added or deleted.I copied data from another field (same field type - single line text) which will also not be changed. I did a copy & paste from the second field to the primary field. The data copied from the second field has dependencies.Question: Can I change the dependencies from the second field to the primary field or should I just 'Hide" the second field?

Hi all,Wondering if any one has experience of syncing Airtable with JIRA Cloud, I've setup a sysnc'd table in Airtable to pul our service desk data so I can build a dashboard, however some of our custom fields have not been pulled though one example is Organisations, this is a key field I need to build a useful dashboard. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks in Advance Matt

Base A has two tables (table 1 &  table 2)table 1 has a "link to another record" field to table 2 is it possible to sync both tables to Base B and keep the "link to another record" fields intact so that data will continue to sync? or is this something that can only be done with the ability to 2-way sync in the enterprise plan?
