I have a problem with CSV import that is messing up all the data. When I try to import CSV with more than one record with the same Primary field name, it updates another field to be the same. For example: Data 1:  Frederik (Primary Field) | Kiyomizu 1 (Field) Data 2:  Frederik (Primary Field) | Kiyomizu 2 (Field) Data 3:  Frederik (Primary Field) | Kiyomizu 3 (Field) It updates as: Data 1:  Frederik (Primary Field) | Kiyomizu 1 (Field) Data 2:  Frederik (Primary Field) | Kiyomizu 1 (Field)  <--- incorrect data in fieldData 3:  Frederik (Primary Field) | Kiyomizu 1 (Field)  <--- incorrect data in field Is there any way to work around this glitch? Please bear with me since I'm new to Airtable and this is hard to explain.  I've inherited a base which contains details on job descriptions which is to be used to merge into a Formstack docs.Main Tab lists the details of each job description in rows. (eg. title, reports to, requirements level, requirements...).  2nd Tab contains job requirement levels in rows.  (eg Level 1, Level 2...)  A column in this second tab contains bulleted lists of the requirements.  The main tab has a column for Requirement Level(s) and a job can have multiple levels linking to the records in the 2nd tab. So this column has links to multiple records/levels. The problem is with a lookup field/column in this main tab. It pulls Levels requirements (pulling from multiple records if more than one Level). So returning and combining bulleted lists from multiple records.However when it does this, it will automatically adds a comma into the lookup field between the bulleted l

I have one table in a base that has a list of different artists under management, the "Artists Base", lets say group A, group B, group C, etc. In another table of contacts, I have a field that is a link to the "Artists Base". Instead of selecting all the artists from group A, is there a way I can create a group tag to assign all artists in Group A to a particular contact?

I have a course of instruction which is 65 days long.  Inside of each day I have specific learning objectives to accomplish.  Currently my objective table links to a course flow table which is 65 days of training.  Along with these 2 tables is an instructor table and a table which covers the 20 teams we have coming through the course’s start date and graduation date for this fiscal year.  My question, is there an easier way to populate in a calendar the 65 days of training for each team to be only on week days based off the start and graduation date table?  I have tried creating a specific table addressing every day of the week, however it is quite time consuming especially when dealing with 20 different teams each covering 65 days of training.  Thank you for your time.

Hi all,I think I'm close, but I just can't workout how to get the forecasting base I'm building to show Monthly sales vs Monthly Forecasts when I want to track them across an additional split out by stream.I have this Monthly table linked to the projects table, but only solution I can see next is to pull in Each Stream's target as a look up field regardless if it's relevant to that project. Monthly ForecastingProject TableI'm also trying to see if I can get it to work visually instead using the Chart Extension, so any advice there also welcome. And please - if this isn't clear enough - do ask questions! Hi, I'm a complete beginner to airtable so sorry if this is a dumb question, but here goes anyway.. I created a product table which is a collection of parts grouped by name. I want to then use the name of each product as a single select field in a new table, but instead I get all the entries for every part within that product.Ultimately I want to display price information for each product - sum of all the parts cost, wholesale price etc.

HiI have two tables - Registration and BookingsBoth tables relate to the same customers.Customers submit their Registration forms and they are updated at least annually. There is an automation that links new or updated Registration records to another table, which has a roll-up to find the most recently created record for each customer. There is a formula field in the Registration table that compares the created date of a record to the most recent date from the roll-up. I filter on that formula field so in the Registration table I only see the most recent submission although all previous submissions are still available.Customers submit a Booking form every time they want to make a booking so there may be a number of booking records for each customer.I would like to link the tables so that I can create a view which has the most recent Registration record and all the Booking records for each customer.What is the best/simplest way to do this.

Is there any way to see sync status of a record in the source base?I am trying to trigger an automation inside the source base once that record is synced.

I have two tables (Table A and Table B) linked to a common table (Table C).When adding a new linked Table C record from Table A or B:I want Table A to use View 1 from Table C.I want Table B to use View 2 from Table C.View 1 and View 2 have two different input requirements upon creation so they have different field orders and visibility.How can I achieve this? Hello!I'm attempting to optimize my Calendar view, and I'm running into an issue.I have a table with tasks that fall in three categories:Multiple Days (Start and End dates are different)Single Day (Start and End date are the same)Deadline/Milestone (only End date is filled out)In Gantt view and Timeline view, these work great. The issue is Calendar view. I duplicate the Start and End dates for Single Day events because it then shows the event as taking a full workday (which is important for our workflow, and it differentiates it from a deadline/milestone)In Calendar view, the start and end date appear as separate cards, essentially becoming duplicates. I could use a date range, but because of the volume of multi day events we have, this would make is extremely difficult to read the calendar. Is there any way I can merge the start and end dates into one card in Calendar view if they are the same,

Until the new redesign this week I don't there was any way for ppl to see the column descriptions on shared views. The new UI redesign changes that since the column description icon shows up on the top right of the column.I think this might be a data sensitivity issue, as some folks (including me) use column descriptions for internal notes that don't apply to shared views 

Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for improved visuals / accessibility settings on Airtable? The latest update made it reeeeaaallly hard for me to see things like icons & symbols. Was wondering if someone had suggestions for extensions or settings that might add high contrast / easier to read text & symbols?  

Airtable, I noticed you've changed the colours. Whilst the update is nice, you seem to have included multiple shades of blue that are incredibly alike and cancel each other out.Rather than have three different blues, you could explore the vast range of greens you're missing. The bright green you had before could have been slightly amended to fit within the set. I'm sure a lot of people use greens within traffic light colour coding.

My plant names table has these three fields: Taxon Name, Name Status, Accepted Name, and Synonyms. Here's the table: https://airtable.com/shrHB9evyZmBawj0CTaxon Name is for all possible plant names. Some of these are "accepted names", meaning they are the names currently in use. But some names are "synonyms", meaning they were formerly used, but are no longer used for that species. The synonym name has been replaced by an accepted name. If a Taxon Name is a synonym, I mark it as a Synonym in the Name Status field and enter the currently accepted name in the Accepted Name field. Aside from the problematic association of "Master" with slavery, Master Base sounds very inappropriate if spoken too quickly. Hi! We are a small visual artist company. We work on several projects at a time, repeating tasks on different projects, like on animation video production. We don´t know wether we need to create one base with all our projects, with a table for projects, one for clients and one for tasks. Or to create one base for each project, syncronizing the task tables from a generic base. We need to somehow have a general overview in one view from all the tasks due to each project. I would love to have some additional filter options for filtering the base and grouping the views. Google Tables lets you filter by Week, which is a great feature. I can't find a way to do this in Airtable. I can only say within the next or previous 7 days. What if I want to see it by just this current week Monday-Sunday? Especially in the reporting. Below are the DataStudio and Google Tables quick select date filters. From what I can tell, I cannot do this with Airtable. One of my Bases is my estimating department. I just moved them over from Google Tables, and one thing that is greatly missed is the ability to group by week. Seems like it should be an easily accessible feature, and I hope I'm just missing something. It would also be nice in the reporting to be able to compare last month versus this month or last year versus this year. Hello! I am currently at a standstill. To make my long story short... I have a database that keeps track of vehicles and equipment. This included Maintenace records, mileage, locations, etc.  (Keep in mind I am not the only one who uses it) Because I have seniority with it, I am more familiar with it. However, I have come across a problem. In my database we have a tab names Mileage where we keep track of the monthly mileage for vehicles that we will be submitted to an outside program. I created a form to send out to employees that are responsible for vehicles (1 employee, 1 vehicle). This form automatically creates a record into the tab which I like but I do not want it to do that. or at least want it to do something else. I would want to do the following or get close to it:  list of vehicles showing the 49 vehicles that need mileage information. The mileage that gets submitted through the form updates the list (this w

Hello, I have multiple team members using our airtable system. We are all in the same database and I am looking to track productivity from the team based on records updated within a day. Is there anyway to pull a report or set something up so I can see who completed what per day, month, etc? Example. Sally and John both work for Company ABC. Sally completes 5 tasks in the system and John completes 2. Currently the only way I know to see this is by clicking in the record making it not feasible to be able to view the productivity. Thanks,

Hi all,I am building a base for capturing information about a large collection of school trophies. The "trophies" table includes a linked field, "people." In the "people" table, there is a "role" field. There may be cases where a person has multiple roles, e.g. "alternate" and "student." It seems like there should be a way to characterize the relationship from trophy to person by multiple roles. I don't have enough experience to know my options. Hi there,I am hoping to get some advice on what to do in the following scenario:I have a base created from form entries. I want to add a column to this base to reflect a 'customer_id' that I have separately in an external csv. I cannot import this data to match it within Airtable as it has ~600k rows. I want to match the name and DOB given by the forms in the base in Airtable with the same values in my customer_id dataframe in order to import the customer_id as a new column in my Airtable base. Any tips on the most effective and efficient way to do this, within Airtable as much as possible, would be greatly appreciated! But if there are any integration suggestions, let me know! Thank you 🙂 I see that you can do something similar to what I am asking using the CSV import extension... however this has a 25k row limit which is problematic for my 600k customer dataframe.
