Hi there, I am new to Airtable and trying to work out ways it can help my business. The first area I am tackling is how I process my invoices. Can anyone tell me if I can share a base with another Airtable user who populates my base with data and pdfs supplied. It would be basic data entry but rather than get someone in my office to do this, I thought that using airtable woud mean it can be done remotely. Hi there, I need some help from a developer to use the Airtable API to upload a spreadsheet of entries but to simultaneously attach a corresponding JPEG file for each record. I work in picture post production, and the purpose of this is to provide shot information for every shot in an edit. The text data is easy to export, but I need to add a thumbnail of each shot / event as a visual reference. At the moment this is incredibly manual, when there can be hundreds of images to drag and drop onto each record. The jpeg could be named the same as one of the columns of data (e.g. 001.jpeg). I was recently lamenting about the lack of a scripting model in Airtable in this discussion concerning actionable buttons and Jonathan Bowen called my attention to a pretty clever way to utilize multiple Zapier components to call out via URLs in fields and update the record (or records) in the table. I wasn’t familiar with this approach and it opened my eyes to a number of possibilities for serverless integration processes. It reminded me of a similar approach that I am intimately familiar with that stems from my deep desire to script processes inside Airtable, even going so far as to create a rudimentary web service that would allow me to easily create script steps in long text fields and then execute those steps against fields via the API using a little thing I call Airdrop which I use pervasively with clients. Hi there, I think I’ve got as far as I can in trying to automate many processes within our company. We have many processes I believe Airtable can help with especially the relationship between ingredients, allergens, companies we cater for, employees in those companies and their allergens, etc, etc. We may also need to build some fairly complex forms to build menus from recipes whilst referencing data from other tables. I appreciate this sounds like nonsense, hence why we’re looking for someone London-based to come and chat through everything, test and iterate.

I have a database of people with a profile that I want to put online (they’re fine with me publishing their profile). I want to have one column say if they’re available for work next month. I just want them to be able to say they’re available somewhere and update it to their profile and list the ones that have put their availability on top of the list. So they would have to give their availability every month. I this possible? If yes, someone who’s able to help me out (paid)? Would be super nice if the users would also be able to edit their other profile information. Emiel

Hi - we are currently using a very simplistic workspace to manage tasks between client programs. I would like to utilize features from a couple templates to do a better job managing cleints/campaigns/resource workload. In particular, we are not seeing ‘completed’ work having an ability to trigger other tasks. I am trying to complete this set-up in the next week prior to a company meeting on the 19th.

I am a recruiter making a database for myself to use to track all my candidates. I have a table with a list of candidates and another with a list of jobs. Right now I can search for jobs for a candidate in their area by zip code because I have a field on the jobs table that lists every hiring zip code with commas in between each zip. This works great with the search block, but leaves me manually linking all the jobs based on the search. I would like some way to take the candidate’s zip code from their zip code field and search for an instance of that in the zip code field in every record of the jobs table. My organization hosts an annual capacity-building program that is over the course of three months with three different locations. The event planner looks great, but there are so many more elements to our program that we’d like to incorporate since there is so much potential with integrating other programs/apps (like google docs, outlook, asana etc).
