Need to work with an Airtable Consultant that can create a reporting process.

A couple of hours ago, while I was working on this base and post, I decided to take a break and go for a walk on the beach. I got as far as the shipwreck of the William H Sumner, exposed by Hurricane Florence, before heading back. Once I got here, I sat down to finish this post and discovered @Justin_Barrett had beaten me to it. Justin’s solution is preferable to mine, as it is more general-purpose, but I’ve decided to post anyway, as drop-in code for anyone with a specific need to restart numbering each day. For those of you who can stomach having to link every record of a table to a single record in a second table, this post and linked base demonstrate how to create a numbering system that resets every day. I recently moved my work history notes into Airtable, and wanted a way to see at a glance how long I worked at each company, including time spans for those companies I’m still working with (I used to work full-time, but starting in 2012 my work became a mix of part-time and freelance/contract jobs). The end product is a clean listing of years and months1, as this sample illustrates: The full table includes three hidden formula fields: {End Date} defaults to TODAY() if no specific date is entered in the {To} field; otherwise it uses the {To} date. {Years} and {Months} run calculations based on {End Date}. The {Length} field puts it all together. It’s not a particularly complex setup, but it has more potential use than just job tracking, so I thought I’d share in case anyone else could use it. I’m using Airtable pro. I have 4 forms in a workspace that fill 3 tables. I need to have the data from the 3 tables integrated into one gallery that has cards that pull info from the 4 tables based on an assigned unique ID. 4 Teir Gantt, Single Dependency I really want to mate the Gnatt (beta) block work. I’ve spent some time trying to work around the circular references, and in-ability to look past a the first record link. I got the start date for a task to adjust up to the 4th task in a dependency chain, hooray. The timeline block reflects the correct start date, unfortunately, the Gantt block sets any task that is dependent on a dependent task to the 1st of the year. I’m hope new column field types or other Gnatt friendly updates are made in the near future.

I am looking for someone to set up my page designer block for me. I have a construction company and we are currently using Airtable to control budgets however the one piece we are lacking is having a PO document that we can send to our subcontractors and vendors. Trying to write a formula that will recognise a word value in one field then if one or more word values are meet in the second field then it returns a value in a third field. This needs to be able to meet several values in both the first and second fields and return a different value in the third field depending on the condition of the first and second fields.

Hello I am seeking assistance from someone who has proven experience developing complex inventory management solutions within airtable. We have built our own custom inventory tracking system and it works great, and has all of the information we need, but we are getting stuck when trying to summarize the data in a digestible way. We know exactly what we need, but need someone to create it for us in a manageable amount of time. We use airtable for ALL kinds of things, so I am sure we will call upon the right partner often. Hi folks, I manage a growing database of investors that I just migrated from the Google Sheets/Forms platform. However, I have not found a way to send mail merged emails using attachments. Each email should say Dear (first name) and be a unique email to just that person. This would be a short problem-based project, but I would like to find someone seasoned to help me grow my database functionality in other areas as well with future work.

I have a ton of same type of XMLs that I would like to drop into the XML block. I just have no idea how to set up the XPATH block itself to grab the correct information. I attached an image of what the XML code looks like below.

Wanted to share a great experience I’m having with ReportBin. Use case: we work with athletes and provide them with career coaching to help them figure out what their post-competition life will look like. within a broader curriculum, we have individual homework assignments which are collected either through Airtable forms (when simple) or one-off custom forms built from scratch. after the athlete completes an assignment, it then needs to be reviewed by their career coach and the athlete which is where ReportBin has been a total life saver. after setting up the template for each assignment, we were able to use zapier to build a workflow where as soon as an athlete submits something, we generate a ReportBin report and the link gets written back into our Airtable. the report looks like this. i started working with Sam at ReportBin a few months ago and the pace of their development has been awesome. as a non-developer, this was a great solution for me and was way easier than trying to f

I’d like help creating a web page that displays data from a given Airtable View that provides me more robust control of page content and styling than is currently possible through the “share view” and “print view” commands. Requirements: The data on the web page must be synced with my base so that any changes (new records or updated records) are updated on the page. Preferably, these updates would be automatic, but a “refresh” button would be workable. We must have complete control of object styling, via HTML/CSS. I’m fine with manually editing the HTML/CSS; no CMS required. We need some basic controls for conditional formatting (e.g.; if a date is i the past, it is displayed in red; color-coding of particular values in a field; etc.) We must be able to host the page on our current web server, with minimal fuss. And I’m hoping it would not require any third-party licenses or subscriptions. Let me know what additional info you need.

I have what a simple airtable base created; however, I am struggling to determine how (if) I can get the data to print out in a somewhat structured way. I have tried Airtable Blocks / Page designer but it appears this solution will not work for my current data structure. I am actually looking for someone to help solve this problem. Whether this means a new database design in Airtable or some other add on solution to that can provide the output in the desired format - I’m open to options and suggestions.
