Hi there, I am new to Airtable and trying to work out ways it can help my business. The first area I am tackling is how I process my invoices. Can anyone tell me if I can share a base with another Airtable user who populates my base with data and pdfs supplied. It would be basic data entry but rather than get someone in my office to do this, I thought that using airtable woud mean it can be done remotely. If so, any pointers on where I might find such outworkers to discuss this with would be greatly received. Many thanks

Hi there, I need some help from a developer to use the Airtable API to upload a spreadsheet of entries but to simultaneously attach a corresponding JPEG file for each record. I work in picture post production, and the purpose of this is to provide shot information for every shot in an edit. The text data is easy to export, but I need to add a thumbnail of each shot / event as a visual reference. At the moment this is incredibly manual, when there can be hundreds of images to drag and drop onto each record. The jpeg could be named the same as one of the columns of data (e.g. 001.jpeg). Hi there, I think I’ve got as far as I can in trying to automate many processes within our company. We have many processes I believe Airtable can help with especially the relationship between ingredients, allergens, companies we cater for, employees in those companies and their allergens, etc, etc. We may also need to build some fairly complex forms to build menus from recipes whilst referencing data from other tables. I appreciate this sounds like nonsense, hence why we’re looking for someone London-based to come and chat through everything, test and iterate.

I have a database of people with a profile that I want to put online (they’re fine with me publishing their profile). I want to have one column say if they’re available for work next month. I just want them to be able to say they’re available somewhere and update it to their profile and list the ones that have put their availability on top of the list. So they would have to give their availability every month. I this possible? If yes, someone who’s able to help me out (paid)? Would be super nice if the users would also be able to edit their other profile information. Emiel

What I’ve built is working; however I’m sure there are more elegant solutions out there for what we need. My team: We are a small marketing department supporting five offices in the Northeast to design employee benefits communications (i.e. benefits guides, open enrollment announcements, websites, etc.). Our needs: We track client information (account team, designers, renewal dates, open enrollment dates, main client contact, invoicing instructions, etc.); deliverables (type of deliverable, number of versions, status, priority, due dates, printing/mailing/translation needs, and notes for each project); and billing. Hi - we are currently using a very simplistic workspace to manage tasks between client programs. I would like to utilize features from a couple templates to do a better job managing cleints/campaigns/resource workload. In particular, we are not seeing ‘completed’ work having an ability to trigger other tasks. I am trying to complete this set-up in the next week prior to a company meeting on the 19th.

We want to use AirTable for project management across 5-6 different departments, with custom calendars to show what events are coming up and what each team is doing for each event. I am a recruiter making a database for myself to use to track all my candidates. I have a table with a list of candidates and another with a list of jobs. Right now I can search for jobs for a candidate in their area by zip code because I have a field on the jobs table that lists every hiring zip code with commas in between each zip. This works great with the search block, but leaves me manually linking all the jobs based on the search. I would like some way to take the candidate’s zip code from their zip code field and search for an instance of that in the zip code field in every record of the jobs table. I want to do this to automatically link every job that hires in the candidates area. Any ideas or guidance is appreciated! I’m on a mission to improve my processes and workflow.

My organization hosts an annual capacity-building program that is over the course of three months with three different locations. The event planner looks great, but there are so many more elements to our program that we’d like to incorporate since there is so much potential with integrating other programs/apps (like google docs, outlook, asana etc). Looking to implement Airtable to streamline my company’s content process - from idea creation to finished project. We’re an online media site that publishes multiple pieces of content daily across various categories. We need help setting up an effective content/social/marketing calendar as well as a way to track performance and projects as it pertains to published content. Hey guys - I’m working with a client to try and help them setup a quotation system for their kitchen company. There are a bunch of line items with different categories and pricing conditions. I already have all the formulas done in a Google Sheet but we’re looking for a more streamlined way to achieve the goal of having all the data in once place rather than a new sheet for each customer. I’m quite proficient with building out these types of “apps” but I’m in a bit of a hurry and could do with pointing in the right direction in regards to this project. I’m trying to build a billing base that will work with our companies financial software, Xero. I know we can use Zapier to transmit data but I need help building the airtable base along with moving the information to and from Xero.

Hi! I have a csv export for a 500 or so records that get generated each day. The report contains leads I generate for clients and calls we make for them. Currently it’s just a data dump but I’d like a savvy Airtable expert who can build a template with Blocks (pivot table / reports block) to make it insightful for me (how often are leads being called, for which clients, which of my callers are producing and which arent) and nice looking for my clients to view.
