Hi guys, I’m a baby on this industry, Automation, AI, so on, but im about to learn from basic.As a first step, Im on the learning & studying by myself alone to use Zapier.But, Unfortunately, Airtable doesn’t allow me to access with login on macOS.(I tried a lot of method, changing Browsers safari, chrome, ARC and also accounts google, apple.Only mobile app accepting my ID, but it doesn’t seems that i can do something on that App)So i’m very discouraged to study automation because i’m stuck with this issue.I hope here is someone who know this issue and recommend a solution with referable links.Please find below captured screenshot.  *Below green bar doesn’t proceed anymore :(

Hi all,I’ve been facing a strange issue and I’d love to know if anyone else has experienced something similar — or if this could be a bug.We have two scripting extensions in our base: Delete XXX File Generate INBOUND XXX File Both are configured to only run when a user manually clicks the "Run" button. There are no automation triggers, no time-based triggers, and no webhook or external script that could be calling them.Despite this, these scripts executed themselves on two different days: June 12th, 2025 June 26th, 2025 Only one execution occurred each day. No user was interacting with the base at that time. These scripts do call a Google Apps Script via fetch(), but that Apps Script has no time triggers or onEdit

Hi, I’m new to using Airtable. I create a Gantt view when I set up dependencies between some  milestones. I noticed  that in my Gantt view when I have  milestone that is dependent on another milestone, even if I move the first milestone it does not affect the milestone that is dependent on it. however, when a milestone is dependent on a task that has a duration, the change is reflected.Milestone 2 depends on Milestone 1  After moving Milestone1 one day later , Milestone 2 remains due for the 25th. I expected it to move 1 day later    

Hi Any idea when Airtable will update its markdown syntax to accept inline images? I love to send emails with Airtable automation, but I can’t find a way to integrate my signature to emails !

Has anyone seen this message before when trying to sync and emailed CSV file into the base?“Unable to sync this source. A field in this table has too many select options, so no new select options can be synced”.How do i fix this? 

Dear community,I am thinking about to turn on Airtable AI, but first I'd like to ask whether the Airtable AI has the power to do what I want.A brief introduction of my base and what I want to achieve:We provide logistics management for cruise vessels when they are in dry dock. We manage the complete supply chain and on site coordination. Building a detailed inventory of all items for the ship and keep track is one of our tasks. Now, we work with barcode tracking which means we have to assign a barcode to a record (primary field = barcode). This can be done by scanning the label (regret to say that, but the Airtable mobile app sucks!) , or manual input (risk of typos), or third party scanning integration. We also take photos of every single item (attachment field).And here is what I want (primary goal):AI should analyze the photo and search for a barcode label, then update the primary field accordingly.So much more what

Greetings, I’m new to Airtable.I want to run a script to delete field columns that contain the word (SS)I get this error:“deleteFieldAsync available: no⚠️ Your current environment/role does not support deleting fields via script.Please run this in Extensions → Scripting with a Creator role, or delete the fields manually.”I am the Owner of the base.I am in extensions → Scripts and running this script from there.Why is it not allowing me to delete if I am an Owner and I am running the script from extensions?Thanks!

It seems that the number of lines that the view moves in a single "scroll-notch" from the mouse wheel is the same in any cell height.This feels very unnatural (scrolling the same distance is expected, not the same number of lines).With taller cell heights this means that the entirety of the lines that are visible are new lines after scrolling a single scroll-notch away, which leads to the worrying ambiguity of "what if I have scrolled past some of the lines" since you don't have any lines that are common to both positions that may serve as visual reference points.The only workaround is to click on the scroll bar and drag it, which is not as ergonomic as having a proper scroll.This has been somewhat mentioned in this other question from 2021 "Adjust Mouse Wheel Scroll Sensitivity?"  which doesn't have a single answer.

I have paid the invoice which failed yesterday. I had automatically been downgraded to free plan. However even after paying the invoice when I try to upgrade, it takes me to billing and then says we cant charge your card right now.

Hi,Is there any way to search an entire base with the Search feature on the mobile app? I’m only able to see how to search within one view and one table at a time.Our team has added QR codes to records in our base, and would like to use the scanner within the Search feature on the mobile app to scan a QR code (from a printed label) and pull up the corresponding record in the Airtable app.This works fine *if* you know which table and which view to search in. However the base has multiple tables and views (it was not set up optimally). If you’re searching in the wrong table, or view, OR if a filter has been applied by another user to the view you’re searching in, you’ll get a “record not found” message.So I’d love to find an easy way to scan in the QR Code with the mobile app, and just search the whole base.Any ideas??Thanks very much.Elaine

Hey all!I’m currently developing an extension for Airtable, and at the moment, all of the logic resides in a single file, index.js, as generated by the initial project setup.Is it a requirement of Airtable’s extension framework that all code must remain in index.js, or is it safe to refactor the logic into multiple modules/files for better organization and maintainability with TypeScript?I’d appreciate any official guidance or best practices. Two similar linked records link the BOOKINGS/LICENCES and the COSTS tables with the REPORTS table. I create a new record on the junction REPORT table (primary field = ReportID), and I manually choose to bring which licenses from the BOOKINGS/LICENCES table and which costs from the COSTS table will be included in this particular report from linked record on each tables.  Then I created a linked record both on the BOOKINGS/LICENCES table and on the COSTS tables that automatically pulls into those tables the reportID number (primary field) and an associated lookup field, so I can know directly from the BOOKINGS/LICENCES table, in which report a particular license is included. Same from the COSTS table.  I replicated the same logic and created the same relations through linked records on both tables. It works perfectly on the COSTS table. For a reason I cannot understand and after several attempts it simply does not work on the BOOKINGS/TABLE . Neither the in

As the title states, I need to know how to make comments made on an image viewable in a shared view. I don’t need the ability for people to comment, I just need the comments that I made visible to them! Seems silly that I can share all the other information on an airtable, but I can’t easily share comments that break down what an image shows to more clearly convey the information being shared...

Hello guys, this error always comes up when I'm trying to add data using a pop up form on an interface level: Worker responded with {errorCode} for {path}, {action}, {modelClassName} (Please see the First Image)Also when I'm trying to add data manually on the backend, an error message also pops up (please see second image). Both of this are occurring on the same table. I've looked at a few posts that deal with updating an existing record based on a form submission, but haven't found anything that addresses my particular need.I have a base to keep track of volunteers. It includes general contact info, which groups they are a part of, how they came to the organization, etc. I want to also use this base to keep track of which events they RSVP to. They RSVP to events via airtable form. I want to be able to update their existing record to add the event to the "Events" column (multi-select field).I've found ways to do this that involve the person filling out the form looking up their record (e.g., https://community.airtable.com/t5/show-tell/updating-an-existing-record-via-airtable-form/td-p/132681). But my volunteer list needs to remain private—I can't have it so that anyone filling out the form can see t

2 interface questions: Is there a way to discard unpublished changes? I was trying to add something to a current interface, but it isn’t laying out how I want it to… so I want to revert back to how it was. But it won’t even format itself back to how I originally had it… So I’d like to discard these changes and put it back how it was automatically. This leads me to my next question. Can the elements on the interface only go into these pre-determined ‘boxes’ that are popping up. Sometimes it won’t allow me to resize things the way I want them because it doesn’t seem to ‘fit the mold’. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope those make sense!

I have a bunch of columns/fields that use the same list of single-select values. I have changed the colors of the selectable values in one of the columns and I want to apply the same change (colors) to all the other columns with the same range of values. How can I do this short of manually edit the colors on all the other columns?

I have a field in TableA called “ProductSKU” which is a primary field that concatenates some data from other fields in TableA. The formual is: LEFT(Description,10) &"-" &FinishCode &"-" &Model I have a field in TableB called “SelectKit” that is a link to “ProductSKU”. I have a third field in TableB that concatenates data from the “SelecKit” field. The formula is: LEFT({SelectKit},5) Now, that we’ve established that. I have found that SelectKit is arbitrarily entering a single quotation mark as in " just before the text that is being pulled from “SelectKit”. This only happens in one case. I’ve checked all the fields from every other table and there is NO quotation mark entered in a field. I’ve checked the formulas and they all appear correct anbd otherwise working, except for one entry. Why is this question mark being entered??

I like to know what others are doing to have better organization of managing their users against workspaces, bases, and interfaces, specifically within their organization. I have built a number of apps amongst different departments. We have not decided to turn on enterprise hub yet for our enterprise account but we do have SSO. However, I think using groups would be useful as a growing community of users is developing. I’m a little clunky with using groups and will need to a lot of clean up. Structurally this is how I’m laying it out:Workspace per department Product owners of the Base have creator access only at the Base NOT at the Workspace level (Reasons - within the department could have multiple products not meant for other team members thus at the Workspace level gives too much control) Groups - Product owners are Group ManagersMy logic in what I’m thinking to do:At the Base level manage access for creators on
