A column of information disappeared on a grid. Airtable revision history said I deleted it, but I only opened that grid twice and each time I close it immediately. I did not touch or edit anything on the grid.

Hi Guys, So I use Airtable as a CRM for all the incoming requested quotes via a Form on my site. Each quote get it’s unique ID which i then define as a field in Airtable. When someone fill in the form the submission an automations creates a record in two tables: Outgoing Leads Table and Archive Table. Now I want to connect both records via their ID. So if i change the data in the Outgoing Leads table of that record, than the data is automatically changed for that record (with the same ID) in the Archive Table and the other way around. So both records are connected to each other and pratically the same Is something like this possible?

Hi, I’m trying to import data from CSV into Airtable. This data is a product catalog that I want to import into Airtable to manage it there going forward. But upon uploading, I’m seeing this � character appearing in some data points and not sure why this is happening and how to fix it. Would appreciate any advice. Hello, Wonder if anyone can help with this problem. We are trying to disable ‘copy base’ in the Airtable tabs. We are using Airtable as an archiving tool for a community based project and notice that the whole data base can be copied and altered through this tab saying ‘copy base’. We would prefer it to be locked so anyone viewing does not make a mistake or accidently change our display and or database.

Hello hello ! I am trying to put infos from a Tally form (with an Airtable integration on Tally’s side) to multiple Airtable tables in one base. The issue is that Tally only authorizes infos from one form to go into one table. Sadly, so much submission are expected that help from Make or Zapier would increase greatly the cost and therefore will not be used. Is there a tweak on Airtable’s side to do this ? Thanks !

Hello. I recently deleted a base by accident. And now more than 7 days have passed. I’ve found documentation on how to restore bases within 7 days, but how can you restore after the 7 have passed? When I click on my Trash icon, I only see a message that says “Nothing has been deleted within the last seven days.” Help is greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello airtable community, i need help about the bulk import script to split attachments. the default script work as i want, but i need to customized it a bit. I have created a Form to collect Customer data but the need for an Email address field to be ‘Required’ is conditional on the selection of a previous field. Is this something one is able to set, or is a field simply Required or not? Thanks!

I don’t understand why my account has been deactivated, what can I do now, all my business data is on it, I have not received any notification from Airtable about it this. In the worst case how can I download my data and transfer to Google Sheet or Excel to work? Hello! Context I am trying to develop a base to effectively manage project management and task delegation for my company. We create art assets for clients, where each asset goes through multiple stages of production before final delivery. This is somewhat standard project management, where each “Asset” roughly corresponds to a “Project” and each stage of production corresponds to a “Task.” We offer a semi-specific menu of asset types, so each asset type may also have different stages of production (and therefore, different associated “tasks”). Hello, I have a base as an owner with three editors and about thirty collaborators. I have been using it for about a year now, and suddenly, out of nowhere, my owner ID has been deactivated and I cannot log in or find out what could have caused the issue. If it’s a billing problem, then I cannot seem to pay what I need to. I simply just cannot have access to my ID! It’s extremely frustrating :cry:

Hello, I am currently using the trial version of AirTable on the web app, however, I’ve created a database and have some information entered already. I want to start applying formulae, but the formula fields are always greyed out, and I am unable to type in them. Is there something limiting my usage of formulae? Thanks in advance

I’m trying to automate my purchase process, wherein after purchase, someone can simply sign up for AT and click on “copy base” at the top right of the screen (I’ve seen this many times with bases I’ve copied on developer sites for examples). My current process makes it so that the client has to wait for me to manually send it to them and it would “automate” the process by the client doing this themselves. Can someone please share how this is done? I can’t find it

Is there a way to make an interface view static, or “archived” so it doesn’t update say after a certain date? There’s probably a better way to say this, help please!

I have a form that prefills a unique ID for each customer. They then need to select an event that they are signing up for from a drop down menu linked to another tables primary key. The problem I am running into is that I cannot autofill the event they are signing up for and I really want to limit the view on the events to events that have not occured yet, or even better yet, event that triggered this form being sent out. Eventually there will be 50-100 events and I do not want them all to show up, and I don’t want to have to delete events etiher. Is it possible to run an automation that sends all information from events to a past event table that has the same options and then delete the event record form the ongoing events field? Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly apreciated. Justin

I’m trying to print out my records in the expanded view but have only figured out how to print one at a time. Is there a way to print multiple expanded records at once? Aka create a PDF with pages that are of the expanded record view?

Hello- I am looking for a formula that I am stumped on: I have a field with a single select that is called Campaigns. Campaigns has three categories, A, B, C. A, B, and C also represent tasks which is another field. These tasks have 20 options that represent a lead time. That lead time needs to be a workday add formula to a set lookup date that is driving these dates. So I need the option for all noted: As an example I’ll use this, when you select A from campaigns that equals -30 days, allows you to select all tasks that each have a different lead time associated to then auto subtract workdays from the static look up date. Does this make any sense, need multiple switch functions? Thanks!

There isn’t a button to share a view in the app

The link to the questionnaire form no longer leads to the form, but now leads to the registration page. As a result, unregistered users cannot fill it out. Has anyone encountered this problem recently? Previously, everything worked fine and you could use share form.

Hello- I have 4 buttons in my interface designer and they all point to a single select field for reviews and approval status stages. STATUS -On Hold -In Process -Needs Review -APPROVED On one of my buttons, when clicked it is APPROVED. How do I prevent anyone from just approving and clicking the button? Can I set it only one person is allowed to change this button with still allowing the other people to click the other 3 buttons?

i am a beginning user of airtable, and i feel i may be missing something. what do the rest of you do for joining/linking/merging tables with more than say a few 10s of records? i have a dimension table (properties) and a fact table (transactions). i need to join them so that each transaction has the right properties added. i tried multiple times to figure out how to do that with linked records, and lookup, and rollup, till it dawned on me that those only work when you, for each record, MANUALLY CHOOSE THE LINKED RECORD?! in my use case there are only a few thousand transactions going through per month, (and a few tens of properties) but that scale is obviously beyond a manual method. i have been looking around for ‘merge’, ‘join’, ‘auto-lookup’, ‘vlookup’, etc but nothing presented itself. i am quite surprised. i thought for sure that somewhere there’d be an automation, or a script, or an extension, or something that would provide this capability, but it really doesn’t seem to be? is
