Can we restrict who fills out the Form, if we already have them logged in to a parent app that can authenticate via SSO to the airtable app?And by detecting who fills out the Form, is it possible to pre-fill the other fields in the Form?
Hi! I work at a digital school and I would like to have an easy view where I can see all my classrooms whether they are booked with a course or not. I have a total of 20 classrooms. I already have calendars where I can put the dates, the courses and the classrooms the courses will be taught in. In the calendar view, I also created a returning view telling me whether a classroom is already booked. I have a tab with all my classrooms and another one telling me if there’s an error due to booking the same classroom for two courses at the same time. I also am able to create a view of all the classrooms that are booked but I don’t seem to be able to add the classrooms that are available. I’m sure there’s a way to add the empty classroom. Is there someone who can help me? Thank you :)

Hello,My team uses forms to enter data into our Airtable bases. For one form, we have a multiple line field that appears only if one or more other fields are selected. It would be helpful to know why the conditional multiple line field appeared.Is there any way to show which fields caused the conditional field to appear on the form?
HI, Currently I have a work account which is paying for airtable. I’m now using it for a personal project and have added collaborators who are being billed to my work account. I need to transfer ownership to a new account and start paying for the base and associated collaborators through this new account (or just use the free plan there, not sure what we’ll need yet). I can’t seem to get it to work though! If I try to add the new email address (even on a different browser) it keeps logging me in on my original account. Any tips on separating it all out? Thnks Jenny
I have Two tables. People and Groups. The groups table is used for an assortment of things in our organization. So most everyone is a part of 3-20 groups. My problem comes when I need to add more than 30 or so people to a single group. Bulk adding overwrites all of the varied groups that a person is in and i can’t find an angle to add more than one person at a time to the group without overwriting all of that person’s existing groups. I’m attempting to create an automation that I can use a view that automatically appends a person to a group but I’m thinking there has to be a better way. Any insights?
Hello everyone! :wave: I would like to know if I am the only one getting crazy about this… is it a bug?? VERY often, when I move the scrolling cursor up and down in my list, then let it go, it still keeps following my mouse up/down movement (while losing my position). I then have to find the record line again and click the cursor again so it finally let it go. I had this problem on the horizontal scrolling bar too. I haven’t seen this problem in any other software that I use, and it is time and nerve consuming!! I hope I am not the only one… I would then report it as a probable bug! That said, another point on those scrolling bar: they are uselessly too thin, aren’t they? It is often hard to see and catch them. I understand that it is probably to make AT looks good (it does), but it is not practical. I would prefer a good classic and ugly but efficient scrolling bar. Anyone thinking the same? I got back from vacation and opened my airtable mac desktop app and it looks really different. I’m having an issue with the bottom of my screen. I have lost the left to right toggle bar so I cannot move between columns in a view. The bottom of the entire screen looks cut off. I have tried everything - deleting and reuploading the app, restarting my computer (x 2), zoom in, zoom out, full screen… nothing has worked. Does anyone know how to fix this issue as I am currently unable to work on the bases due to this? Also anyone know how I can get the older version back? Is that possible? When I go to a base, I see I know have “omni” as an AI helper and when I go to the my account it says my appearance is “beta”. I really need help figuring this out. Thanks, Katie
How can I accomplish the following: In a form I want to dynamically alter the choices available in Field B when a certain option is chosen in Field A. E.G Field A could be a single select list of countries Field B could be a single select list of states (All states in all countries) When a specific country is selected in field A, a corresponding subset of options is available to select in field B.
Hi - I am new to Airtable and am looking to create a form that can only be completed by personnel during business hours ie: 9-5pm on Weekdays. Is there a way to automate these date parameters within Airtable? Thanks!
I'm running a handful of automations with Zapier and am now getting a 429 error for too many requests.I've turn off EVERY automation related to AirTable. Nothing has run for 4 days. But I'm still getting 429 errors, despite AirTable docs saying to wait 30 seconds. Any way to reset this? Or anywhere in AirTable to see a log of API requests so I can figure out what might still be hitting as an API request?
I can’t access my bases. When i try, I get “An error has occurred, Refresh the page” and when I click on the provided “contact us” link, a very general page opens without contact options. Now that page is not accessible and results in a 504 error. The “error has occurred” message is accompanied by an error code of pgluwBBDyL62GtnawThere aren’t any other ways to check status of Airtable, and this is directly affecting my businesses day to day operations. I’m using airtable as a project management tool amongst other things in my business. It’d be really great to have the time in a date field default to 5:00PM (EOD) for every date entered instead of the current default which is the current time. Is there a way to do this other than using a formula as I’d really like to use the new timeline feature which doesn’t seem to support formulas. Thanks for the help!
I have a requirement to delete all records from my Airtable base. Currently the documentation says I can delete only upto 10 records from a single request. Is it possible to delete all records at a time (Instead of sending multiple URL’s with 10 records id’s each)?

Hi,I have a simple airtable-database ad datasource for my Weweb-project.Everthing worked fine until a few days ago, I get a 422-error in Weweb "insufficient permissions" for only one of my records.The Weweb-community replies this error is generated by Airtable. As I typed this, it was 11/17 2:45 pm in my time zone (PST = GMT - 8). What I want is to get a field that return what today’s date is in my time zone. I have tried the following fields: TODAY ( ) – GMT contains the formula TODAY () with “Use the same time zone (GMT) for all collaborators” toggled on in the formatting tab TODAY ( ) – not GMT contains the formula TODAY () with “Use the same time zone (GMT) for all collaborators” toggled off in the formatting tab TODAY ( ) using SET_TIMEZONE contains the formula DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(TODAY(),‘America/Los_Angeles’),‘MM/DD/YYYY’) (with no option to set formatting available): What I get is the following (again, when it is 11/17 2:45 pm in my time zone (PST = GMT - 8)): TODAY ( ) – GMT: 11/17/2020 12:00am TODAY ( ) – not GMT: 11/16/2020 4:00pm TODAY ( ) using SET_TIMEZONE 11/16/2020 Note that when it was 12:00 am on 11/17 GMT time, it was indeed 4:00 pm 11/16 in my time zone (PST). I’m not sure exactly what group to put this in but I am trying to build out a form that allows you to “pick a speaker” from a list to effectively vote for them. I was wondering if there was any way to show more information when trying to pick a record in a form, ideally the cover photo would be best but anything would make it easier. I changed the primary field in a source table. I also want that to be the primary field in an existing synced table, but the primary field doesn’t change.If I go to “Update sync configuration” and then “Edit synced fields”, then select “Specific fields in the source...” it does not give an option to change the primary field, like you can when first creating the sync.I’m syncing a view from the source table, so I could create an identical, duplicate view there and then change my sync to point to the new view, but I worry about how that will impact all the lookups I have configured. Will I need to redo them all, even though the fields will actually be the same? So I’m hoping there’s a way for the synced table to use the new primary field from the source.
Is it possible to export a revision history? And if so, can a specific date range be specified?
