Hi, I’m sharing a form on social media where we’re asking for sign ups. It currently shows the Airtable image and logo and “Airtable: Organize anything you can imagine” in the Link Preview on Facebook and Twitter, but that doesn’t show the user an accurate picture of what’s in the link. Is there a way to customize the Twitter card/facebook mark up language so our own content appears in the link preview? Thanks, Kristin

Hi, I would like to set up due dates in the simplest way and would like to be reminded in a selected time before. I have created the Due Dates tab, but I don’t know how to create a simple reminder, for example, a month before. Can anyone help me?

I’ve searched various threads for this answer and I’m still not sure if this is possible or not. I have Table 1 (let’s say) that has a formula field which constructs a url from another field and the record id. It looks like this With an automation I email this url (a form in another table - let’s sayTable 2) to potential respondents. Table 2 also has a field called “BD Link” which references Table 1. When a respondent submits the form, “BD Link” is never populated. Can someone point out what I’m doing incorrectly? Thanks!

Hi. I use LinkedIn, and am interested in my SSI score (which LinkedIn automatically creates for you) - you can find it here: https://www.linkedin.com/sales/ssi. Basically, the more you use LinkedIn / engage with it, the better your SSI score. As you refresh this page every now and then, it shows you how your score has either gone up or gone down. So I wanted to create an Airtable web clipper so that I could capture my latest score whenever I visit the page, and write it to a table (so I can see a history of my SSI scores). I’ve set up a table to mimic all of the key fields on the SSI page, but am struggling to write the content (can’t find any good help online, and I’m not the most tech-savvy). Hi, I have been using the Sync function successfully for a while but today a field I created in the originating base as a % turns up in the synced base as a single line text field. No amount of resyncing seems to help. What could be going wrong? Thanks, Jonathan

Has any one else experienced this? First year in enterprise was great, had an experienced customer success manager that assisted in base design and even a little custom scripting. Second year we were told they were restructuring and changed our customer success manager to a lovely lady but with very little technical knowledge, and a sizeable price jump.

I’m trying to display data from two different tables in a chart using vega-lite. I have two tables, one for “purchases” and one for “sales”. each has a “week code” field to group the purchases and sales into weeks. I can make a chart with the chart app or vega-lite for either table that visualizes the purchases and sales for each week. But what I’d like to do is see that in one graph with the purchases one color and the sales another color. I can’t find anywhere how to get vega-lite to reference a different table in Airtable. I look forward to your ideas!

I am having major problems all of the sudden with a link field automation that uses a date. Let me start by saying if I copy and paste my date from one table into the link field it works fine. If I try to do it via. Automation I keep getting an error that says this field can not accept that input. Seems to be a recent problem. Any help? This is breaking a ton of stuff for me.

Hello! I have been struggling with a project recently. I am trying to basically take a list of names or emails from two separate Rollup fields and combine them, removing the duplicates. However, Airtable seems to be having trouble combining ARRAYJOIN(), ARRAYFLATTEN(), or ARRAYUNIQUE() in any way that works for me. So far, my only solution was to use some nested IF statements and concatenation to force it to work to an extent, but the fields get messed up if both columns I am pulling from are not blank. I have tried a couple of different suggestions from other posts, but I would appreciate if someone could point me in a good direction.

Hi, I have the basic ‘project tracker’ base set up to track all my clients, design projects, and tasks. It works great, I love it (mostly). The projects tab has a nifty ‘tasks’ column that grabs shows linked records from the ‘tasks’ tab. When I add a new task in the tasks column, they show up in the tasks tab as well. Or, vice versa, if I add a new task in the tasks tab, they will show up in the appropriate project on the project tab. My tasks tab is grouped by project, which is helpful for obvious reasons. What I don’t understand, is why I can’t add a linked record in the ‘tasks’ tab, that pulls the client for a particular task based on its project. I’d like this, so then I can group the view by client (as well as project). So the view would show client as the main grouping, then projects (with their tasks) as sub-groupings within client. Each project has a defined client, and on the clients tab it has no trouble telling me what projects apply to which clients.

so i was recently messing around with how to link records together and i accidentally clicked on Do Not Show again box. i use to be able to select the records i wanted by category. is there a way that i can restore the do not show again pop up?

Hi! I have an excel VBA tool and I’m inclined to use Airtable as the tool’s back-end database (db). Based on the user’s input text (string), I’m looking for Airtable API that will loop through all fields and return if text is present in the db, else return NULL. Now, I’ve looked at the Airtable GET API documentation but the request parameter is based on recordID, so that doesn’t suit my requirement. However, it looks like can work with filterbyformula.

Hi there! Is there currently a way to filter the rows in a table by comparing two fields? I’d like to only show rows where a value is not equal to the value of linked record. I am able to display them next to each other using a linked row, but the filter function seems to require a static value to compare with. Am I right on this? Thanks, Till

I’m trying to send an reminder to email a record to a Slack channel when a Reminder Date is 14 days prior to current date. I’d like the Slack message to automatically populate the record’s name and email but I can’t see to get this to work.

Hello! :slightly_smiling_face: I have a database for products and in there I have two tables Products and Variants. I would need a new record to be created based on multiple select fields. At the moment the script works perfectly if a record needs to be created based on one multiple records field. But in my case, I would need up to 3 fields to be counted. E.g. I have a Product A that has 3 color options + 4 sizes + 2 add-on options. When I run the script, it needs to create 342=24 new records in table Variants. The current script doesn‘t allow to create 24 records at once based on different fields. Is there an extended script available that could fit my needs? Or what could be a solution for it? Thank you!

Trying to attach photos from Google Photos. In my Attachments field, I choose Add Attachment. In the next screen, I’m presented with a number of options, including Google Photos (at the bottom of the list). Choosing this, the next screen offers a blue Connect to Google Photos button. Clicking that brings me (eventually) to my Google accounts sign in window. I choose an account (I’m already signed in). I’m brought back to the same Google accounts sign in window. No further progress is possible. Similarly, if I try and use a URL from Google Photos, a blank document is put into the cell. Is there an issue with integration to Google apps, or am I missing a critical step?

Hey, can anyone tell me if features available to upgraded users (Plus, Pro, etc.) will be visible to non-upgraded users in a certain workspace? For example, If a certain base contains Gantt charts, a pro feature, will a “free” user who the base is shared with be able to see or interact with the gantt chart? Hello, I have 3 rows like this… companyA: US companyB: CA companyC: US, CA But I want to be able to group by territory so that I see… CA companyB companyC US companyA companyC Is that possible? I.e. to have single rows such as “companyC” appear in multiple groupings because of the multiple attributes it contains? If not, the problem is that I’d have to create 2 rows for companyC which is annoying if you want to apply a company-level comment to the row. Thanks for any thoughts, Daniel
