Situation Have a client who is the Owner of the Workspace. I logged in with client’s credentials and made a Base for them. Trained them. Set them free. Client may share views, but not whole Base. Issue They let me know that something is not working. I login and see that they have broken a Link field from one Table to another. Possible solutions to keep the client from breaking again Make the Owner of the Workspace be just an Editor of the Base in question. Is this doable without making another user for the client, sharing to that second user as Editor, and client has to login as that second user? Or do i have to become the Owner of the Workspace, and share to my client as an Editor so they can’t break anything again? And if i become the owner, then i have to pay the bill right? Or is there another construct that i am missing? I’ve searched for this in support and in this awesome community but can’t find anything that directly addresses this issue. Any help appreciated. Hello, I am having an issue trying to upgrade a free base that isn’t an “Example Base”, and everytime I do the Example Bases is Upgraded not the base that I want to upgrade. I have also tried to move the base I would like upgraded into the example base and can’t move it. Any suggestions? Thanks - Ruth

I have been using the AirTable Pivot App for over a year to summarize data. Today, after a few months, I looked and for some reason on one of my existing pivots that has been in place for a year, the row variable is showing every value instead of aggregating. I checked the variable and it looks right (no weird duplicates or strange spelling). It works using the Group command on the grid view. I tried deleting and recreating the pivot, but same problem. The pivot works for other variables, but I get the same problem when the variable is brought into the table using the LookUP command, even when that command works using Group and even when that variable was previously aggregating in the pivot. Any suggestions?

Hello. I built a small chat bot that fetches some data on regular basis (weekly) and stores the results in database. So I run a job daily that does this work, and to determine which records I need to check I added previousCheck field with type number, where I store unix timecode after every check (so the next time I get to it will be in a week). Is this a bad idea? Will I run into problems in 10-15 years? How long is Airtable’s integer?

Steps I’ve done: Download CSV from airtable (with field “Name”) Add some columns (“Name” field doesn’t changed) Trying to import CSV back to the airtable Some records are recognized (by “Name” field) and merged with existing records Most records don’t recognized and so airtable create New records Why does it happen? Hey guys My automations are failing, not responding and some triggering randomly. Is this systemic across users?

A view was accidentally deleted from my airtable. Is there a way to recover a view that has been deleted?

Right now we have some records/projects that have been sitting for awhile because we are waiting on other people to respond. We need to create some sort of Slack notification system to ensure we, and the others, are staying on top of these, figuring in different outreaches and time lapses. How can airtable be used for this purpose? If others have similar circumstances, how have you used Airtable to manage this aspect of your business? Thanks!

I am using Airtable as a Health and Safety Database for my Organisation. I have one Table to record all the Prestarts my teams do, regardless if they are electronic, by paper, or a mix. (Prestarts) I have another Table that essentially is a form for the Electronic Prestart. (Prestart Form) I also have an Automation set up that when a new record is created in Prestart Form, it creates a new record in Prestarts, and inserts the data such has Date, Site, Team Leader. This is working well with the exception of the date that is created in Prestarts is a day behind. I could just change the date manually… but that defeats the purpose… HELP!!! (Initial Form that is filled out) (Table Created from form) (Automation Trigger) (Automation Action) (Prestarts Created Entry)

Hi All, I made a Zap for sending a new rows in a view by Zapier email. In my Airtable row is a column with files. My problem is that I could not figure out how to send an email with attachement. The only possibility i found was to send the file in the coulumn via airtable url to the file? Does anybody know how send an email by zapier mail as attachement? This are the options given by Zapier, none of them is an attachement option??

Hi, I use Airtable forms embedded on a website, we seems to be havng a real issue with the load time of the form which has been ebedded (regardless of hosting, who the site is designed with etc). Is there an option other than say embedding the form into an iFrame that could produce a faster experience for our clients using the front end? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I have this problems when i use GG docs to manage my data i create multiple choice option for drop down list in code like this So now when i import my GG Docs to Airtable all my optional choice are become 1 option How can i convert them into 1 single option in Airtable ? I feel like I’m possibly missing something but it appears there’s no way to get markdown/rich text out of the field/table that it’s in? If I add a LOOKUP field that references a rich text field, the text comes through but all formatting is stripped. Is there a way around this?

I have set up a number of Tasks within different Design Projects, but for some reason I can’t seem to move the Tasks up and down the list within each Design Project. I try to drag them from the left side of the Task row where the numbers are, but they don’t seem to move up or down the list. I would really like to order them in terms of priority… does anyone know what I am doing wrong, or why it is not working? Thanks in advance!

This is what I have now: DATEADD(DATESTR(“2021-04-25”),-{Indoors Weeks Prior},‘week’) I want to add something so that if nothing is in the Indoors Weeks Prior column, it will show nothing. How do I do that? Also, currently, it displays DATE and then time. How can I omit the time part?
