Good morning everyone, I have a question for managing multiple projects. if I set up my space by dividing the tabs by: Projects-Task-Managers-and counting hours, when a project ends, can I “freeze” it and not view it anymore? working with many projects that last one or two months I need to keep track of all my projects but I don’t want to delete the records every time a project ends. The part I stucked at is that each part has two dates linked to it - planned date of delivery and actual date of delivery (to control the timing of each stage). I know how to prefill a form via HTTP GET queries… But is it possible to prefill a form via HTTP POST fields instead so that the prefill data I’m submitting isn’t put into DNS logs or seen by MITM?

Hi, Im using Integromat to create new records in one of my tables. In this process I also provide a dropbox link to “upload” an image to airtable. The .png is added as attachment but the preview of it is never available. If I reupload the same .png file manually the preview works. There are some older threads here about temporary problems with certain airtable services that led to bugs with previews. Is this still a common problem? Is there a work around to fix the automatic image upload? Does it has something todo with the duration of the validity of the provided url to the image (e.g. a preview service revisiting the link later to generate the preview or sth.)?

Hello all. May I check if the following is possible with Airtable and in-built Automation. Trying to use a Main table input to create a new record into a new table. However it will be created in a “selected” existing table base on Input field condition. E.g. IF “Group1” THEN Create at Table1, IF “Group2” THEN Create at Table2 I asked the same question to support and they suggested Script approach as below. " While our create record action is set to a specific table (making what you’re trying to do impossible for a single automation), you might be able to do what you’re looking to by building a rather complex [Run a script Action]. This is an advanced corner of Airtable – you’ll need knowledge of JavaScript to be successful here." If this is true, was wondering what Script resource is needed to accomplish this.

Hello everyone, I have been using airtable for a while now, to collect data about certain objects in a base with grid-view. Each line represents one object and I have different rows, characterizing the objects in different dimensions. Most of the rows are “multiple select” options with a max of 25 options which are freely combinable. So basically I have a base with around 120 instances and each instance is characterized in different dimensions. My interest now is to find clusters in a certain dimension which means I want to learn which options in a dimension have often been selected together. Is there a way of getting this done in airtable? The standard “group by” feature is working for dimensions (rows) where not many options are selectable but for dimension with more options it does not work in a sufficient way. I have difficulties in finding out if there is an app which could support my intentions. Also i have a free plan for now and can not just test

Hello, I have a table containing close to 500 records. I am trying to set up chart apps to analyze various attributes of the data. When I install the app and fill out the settings, nothing displays, just a blank, white screen where the graph should be. I figure this might be due to the volume of records? Do charts or apps in general break when record volume exceeds a certain quantity? Has anyone else ran into this issue? Thanks!

Hi all, New to airtable so need a little bit of advice. I have set up a form on my website to collect data and sent it back to airtable. Issue I am having is that I am trying to work out how to move data based in a row to another record with matching text. So for example if I had a student enquiring about ‘Science for Beginners’ and another for ‘Advanced Maths’ I would like to add them to the relevant sheet under that course group. Is this possible to set up automatically with zapier etc? Look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Mark

When I try to set up a graph with the Charts app, nothing shows up in the graph area. I’ve tried different settings, I’ve turned off my adblock just in case, and still nothing. Does anyone know how to get the charts showing up?

When I’m creating a view and adding existing fields to that view they don’t show up in the order that I’m adding them. Sometimes it will show up in the middle of other fields that I’ve already added. And I can’t figure out the logic behind where it decides to put the field. I’d like the fields to be added in the order I select them.

I have several charts (from my Airtable data) - is there a way to export them onto one pdf/doc?

How do I limit file upload to ONE file? I’m telling people to upload a pdf document, but I want them to upload ONE document if it’s multiple pages, not separate pdfs. If I can limit the file upload to ONE, then I’m hoping that will force people to comply =)

In the pro version, I can choose to have the start time displayed next to the name of my event, but I can’t figure out how to make both the start and end time show up there. In my attached example the session runs from 8:00 - 10:00 but only ‘08’ shows up. I can also choose to have only the end time show up, but I want it to show 8:00 - 10:00. if i place a order for example 500 and then it is part shipped in 5 deliveries resulting in 5 invoices . can i have all involves values in one cell ( 100+100+100+100 ) this is then sum into new cell giving me a value of 400. i dont want to be creating new columns for every part invoice . as some order may come in anything up to 10 part shipments

I have an airtable base that is approaching the record number limit. The main driver of this growth is a table full of inbound emails that my service categorises, processes, extracts data from and generally munges. I only need to retain some of these emails, not all of them, and it will be fairly straightforward to write a filter to identify the keepers. Is there a best practice method to select the candidate records, back up the data, then delete those rows? I don’t think I’m looking for a normal backup solution for the entire base - at least that is a separate issue for me. What I want is a way to trim down my base by removing superfluous records, but keep the data from those records in case I need to access it in future.

We are a furniture moving company, so we have two date fields for every record: MOVE IN and MOVE OUT. Since Airtable’s mobile app doesn’t yet support a calendar view, I want to sync Airtable to a Google Calendar. But I want the MOVE IN dates to appear in green in Google Calendar and the MOVE OUT dates to appear in red in Google Calendar. I would also like the same color-coding to appear in Airtable. How can I achieve this?

We can’t have our students refer to an outside picture - many have limited tech literacy, and this needs to be SIMPLE for them. Thanks for your help
