Guys hello We are using Airtable to organise our daily tasks. We have a task we stuck at the moment so we need the help of a coder to create a script to run on Airtable Base. Here is what we like to do We are using Airtables CSV import app and importing CSV to the right column. There is no problem with that. Problem is (what we like to do) to insert another row (pre-defined) automatically, when we import new CSV. So 1st row will come from CSV, under that another predefined row, and repeat like that for each row. (Please see Screenshot1) We tried to do it with automation on Airtable but when we import CSV, created all rows from CSV But instead of adding predefined row under each row, adds all at the end. (Please see the second screenshot) So we are looking for a solution to solve that. I guess a custom script will solve the problem. Or some tricks on automation? Any idea?

Hi everyone! Does someone know how could i change this “2021-02-16T21:30:18.110Z” (text type field) to a date and time format and change the time zone (the hour is coming with 5 hours of difference of what it should be, it says. “21:30” when it should be. “16:30”. Thank you so much in advanced!

Hi, apologies in advance if i’m missing something very obvious here. I’m trying to create a shipping label, pulling the name from a single line text field, and below that the address from a long text field. I want all the text to be aligned centre, however on the long text (address) the option is greyed out. Vertical alignment is available, but that’s not what i’m after. Is it not possible to centre-align my text?

I have expense fields set to ‘Allow Negative Numbers’. It would be really helpful to just enter 5.24 and have that field make it a negative number. I have a ton of fields I need to manually enter the currency for and trying to remember to add the minus sign for the expense fields is proving challenging. Is there anyway to 5.24 and have it show up as -5.24? If this is possible will the negative field currency now translate in formula when summing several currency fields with a formula? I would like to be able to limit the number of times a person can enter into a form for a 24 hour period. The table contains requests to our research center so we want to limit the number of requests from an email address to five requests per day. Ideas on how to accomplish this?

Hi everyone, I’m new to AT and especially the Gantt view - so if this is already answered please point me in the right direction (I looked and couldn’t find it). I’ve got my tasks set up. If I push my dates out, all of the successors push out just fine (e.g., if task A was ending Feb 1 and I change to Feb 5, Task B pushes out to Feb 5). When I shorten a duration, the successors stay in the same place (e.g., If I move Task A to end Feb 3, Task B stays at Feb 5). This is pretty critical for us. Any suggestions? Thanks S

I would like to be able to link two tables in such a way that a record appears identically in both upon creating the record and updating it as time goes on. For example, my boss and I have separate tables for our ongoing “to do” lists. She would like to be able to create a record on her table and have it pop up on my table in the same dept (single select field) and that when I update it on my table, hers is also updated simultaneously. Is this possible? Not using the “link a record” field, bc that isn’t working for her. Thanks!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to the Airtable team for building amazing product and bringing easy to use templates from members of the community! Reflecting back on what an intense year 2020 was in shifting to entirely remote work, I don’t think I could’ve helped organize my own work and collaborate with my team without the help of Airtable. This post is less about an open question, and more to give kudos to a very needed product!

Hello Friends - I created a formula to return the Week # an Item Sold, it was working great until this past week. In the screenshot below the second item in the list sold on August 10, 2019, at 9:01 pm. But the formula in the Week Sold field is returning that the item sold in Week 33 when it is actually Week 32. Here is the formula I’m using for the Week Sold field: DATETIME_FORMAT({Start Date},‘w’) Need your help, I think this is due to the fact that I have hours in my Date Sold field, but I’m not certain how to proceed with correcting the formula. Hi All, I am using the “Prefilled forms” App in order to prefill a form. It works quite well so far for single select prefilled values and triggers great URLs automatically. However, if I have multiple values corresponding that correspond and need to be pre-filled, it only shows the first one. Is it possible at all to have it show all values corresponding to the field? i.e., make it possible to create a drop-down / multi-select question in forms based on the prefilled-form. I believe this would be a logical add-on to the prefilled forms as many questions are multi-select. If there is another way to get there, I am open to creative hacks! Thank you! Diane

Hi, Have tried going through the other topics to find what i need but doesnt seem there is an answer or a way to do what i need but will try ask with specifics or what i need and go from there. I have a base that imports entries from an airtable form of tool movements aka date, plant no, original location and new location. This could mean multiple tools so i made a linked plant no column to another table with our inventory. For the information to pull through to the inventory i have made look up columns to pull the information through for one tool vs them in a group but with the look up field i would like it only to show the most recent information or at least fill them in most recent to oldest for easier viewing. Is that possible? I have also tried an automation to update each listing but with no luck at separating the bulk entries into separate tool listings. Thanks in advance

Hey folks. First post here. I was watching a video on YouTube about creating a GTD System. It was using a similar product called Notions. Its seems to be very much the same except for one thing I cant figure out. At one point he creates a “Dashboard” that contains multiple embedded and filtered views across the database. I can set up individual views this way but haven’t been able to figure out a way to create the Dashboard. Am I missing something? Is this even possible? We are looking to import a large Excel dataset into AirTable, ~500 multi-sheet xlsx files, as individual Bases. The Add a Base > Import data > Excel file selector has a limit for 1 file. Is there a means of creating multiple Bases off of a bulk upload process?

Hi All, Here is what I would like to achieve: • I have a table that list our Items with many specifications fields and also prices fields. • I want some of my staff to see all fields. • I want to hide prices fields to some other specific staff. • I want all staff to be able to edit the values. Note that I try to stay very open in the description, I don’t mind to adapt the way to laydown the info in order to fit the optimal solution. I need your help with choosing the best method to design a new field based on other fields. This process needs to be done on more than one view in the same table, for different clients. On each table, I want to create a new column that contains data from 2 different columns and convert data for the third one. Hello, I am using a form embed in a Webflow website to gather data from a logged in user. However, if you begin to enter any data and then navigate away from that page you get a browser alert pop-up that says “Leave Site? Changes that you made may not be saved.” This makes sense if you’re halfway through entering a form, but it will still pop up after the form is submitted. Is there any way to disable this alert, at least after a form is submitted?

Is anyone else experiencing this? I use an NFC tag system to open URLs quickly to specific records relating to each job I have in my workshop. This has been reliable since June last year, and just broke last week. Now it only opens the airtable app on the home screen and doesn’t go any “deeper”. I have tested this in the desktop browser version and it works fine, it’s just the Android App im having trouble with. The URLS are listed in my airtable, so I have also tested clicking from within the app (to rule out problems with other apps on my phone) and the same thing happens. Like I say the URL’s are solid, and its nothing to do with the NFC end of things. This started happening around 7th Feb '21. I am on Samsung SM-N960F running Android 10 Kernel 4.9.118-19869079

Hello, Hopefully, someone can help shed some light on this issue I am having pulling text from a ServiceNow form. I don’t know if the issue I am running into is because the input type is “hidden” or if it’s just the input field that I am not understanding how to pull. I found this article but don’t know if Airtable will take the same syntax. I have tried and it did not work for me. Help! How to scrape a hidden input value? - How to? - Web Scraper The fields I was trying to pull from were the (Number, Request, and Request for) The number field cannot be changed. I am guessing this is the hidden field. Instead of pulling the web clipper from that field, I ended up pulling the information from the upper left nav field, but I still need to pull data from (Request and Request for)

Hi, I’m guessing the “charts” app would be the way to do this, but I could be wrong… How do I create a chart/graph that tracks my current finances (i.e. bank balance) towards a goal (monthly and/or yearly)? For example… I input expenses/income every day into respective views on AT and those numbers feed into a “totals” view… From this totals view, I’d like to have goals set up (and the chart) so I can see if I’m on track to reach a set goal for that month… Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
