New here (and don’t know the correct Airtable terminology yet) - trying to add addresses to a Vendor “sheet”. I don’t see a “field type” for addresses. How do we add these?

I’m new to Airtable and have created a base with lots of linked info and attachments. Is there a way to see a list of attachment filenames, preferably sorted by filename?

Hello there :wave: I have a slight issue, where I’m using slack bot to populate a message coming from a filled form in Airtable. When receiving that form in Airtable, I’m using an automation to populate that message directly in slack. The problem : The issue is coming from attached files (pictures essentially) in the form. I cannot load the images thumbnail in the slack message. Did some of you face the same issue ? Thanks a lot for your help :pray:

I am a Learning Design Coach for a virtual school and we use forms in AT to schedule our live lessons. Is there any way to have forms duplicate so for teachers who host live lessons every Wednesday (for example) can enter one form and have it repeat every Wednesday? Thank you very much!

I would really like a ‘Hill Chart’ app to be supported. To learn more about hill charts, see here. The implementation could be simple - a table with a numeric scale of 1-100 (or 0-1) and a date. Each entry in the table results in a plot on the app at the relative location on the hill with date annotated.

I need help with a nested IF AND statement that also uses the SUBSTITUTE formula. I’m trying to automate project ID creation. Each project is tied to a client and can also (optionally) be tied to a different sub-entity. Depending on who is paying, I either want to use the Client name or the Sub-entity name in the project ID. Additionally, I want to use the abbreviation for each as long as one exists. If an abbreviation doesn’t exist, I want to use the name but remove " " and “,” using the substitute function. Hey, I’ve been using the sendgrid app to send emails, for about 3 weeks now. I’m on the pro plan, and I use the button to send the emails, otherwise the block would send it to all the records in the view. The button has been working perfectly, until yesterday. Now, if I click on it, it opens the app, but then I cannot do anything with it. It’s like the window is blocked. I can open the settings but also cannot change anything (blocked again), and if I reload the app, it will go to a different window, but again blocked. I have tried the button with other apps (e.g. page designer) and it happens the same. Tried both web and windows app, none works. Does anyone have any ideas on why, or how to solve it? I have a table where I capture my customers’ product orders, and one of the things I control is whether or not the product can be shipped. I have already made my report where I can easily get the total of the order. Two questions: Can I in the same report get separately the totals of the products that will be shipped and in another part the ones that will not be shipped? I created a view where are only the products that will be shipped, how can I get the total to be paid of only those products Many thanks for your help!!!

Hello, I am new to Airtable. I tried looking for this answer already in the community, but I could not find a post. I am using Airtable Automations to copy specific fields to another table. So far the first three fields have been a success, but now that I am trying to copy the value from the formula field, it won’t show or copy that value from that field into the other table. Is this a limitation in Airtable? Thank you for your assistance!

I have created a Base and have set a column (videoImage) to use an Attachment. Next I have uploaded an image. In my VueJS app I have the following however the path of the image is incorrect and the image won’t render. <img v-bind:src="record['fields']['videoImage']" class="img-responsive" alt="Video"> Therefore, is there a way to get the URL of any item such as documents, images etc that are uploaded as attachments or bind the correct path in Vue?

Hi. If I want to send text messages to one group of workers (Full time vs. Part time) how do I create that in View part of the Send SMS? The Send SMS tutorial shows multiple different groups under View and able to send texts to Product Team only. On my View in Send SMS I only see Grid View so I can only send texts to everybody including Full time and Part time instead of being able to pick Part time group. Thanks.

Hello the Community, I’m sorry for this stupid question, or, at least, a question coming from a beginner… but didn’t find my answer since days! I have to manage a coaching data base, where I follow each appointment with the Coachee’s Name, the Coach’s Name, the date of the appointment, the debriefing etc… And I would like to create an indicator showing the number of coachings done by a coach since the 1st of the current month. I don’t want a count since the past 30 days, but since the 1st day of the month. For example: we are the 22nd of Jan and I would like to count the number of coachings done since the 1st of jan… not since the 22nd of december. And of course, I would like to have it in an automatic way to follow it each month. Thanks a lot for your help!

I have a table of sports events with an Event Name and the Event Hosts. The Event Host field I have set to Link to Another Record. This auto generates a Lookup in the next column. The data for Event Host is stored on my other table (tab) called Clubs. The Event Name data even appears on this Clubs table now that it is linked. However, my Vue prints what is in the Look Up column but with square brackets. How do I remove these square brackets? Hi, I’m using the page designer block to design labels to print from a work order database. I want to be able to print a quantity of labels based on the number in the QTY field so each individual item has a label. I’m guesing there’s no way to do that directly, so another alternative would be to either internally via a script or code or using zapier turn my original database rows: into this: which could then be printed normally. Dear community, I’m working on making a simple interface using a table with one record where each field is a button field. The button for a field runs an app script to do something. For example, create a new record in a particular table. For the script that creates a record in table NNN, i’d like the script to tell the browser to switch to that table with a particular view that is set with a filter that will be showing that newly created record. I have searched high and low as to how to get an app script to do my bidding. I ran into someone saying that all you can do is to output the URL you create and tell the user to click on that URL. I tried adding code to use window.open(myURL, _self) but the editor says “Cannot find name ‘window’.(2304)”. So the “window” object is not accessible from scripting app. I tried to see if anything, base, table, view, had window as a member. No love. How can this be? I’m working on a recipe production database. I will have a table for all available ingredients, and another table with recipes that uses ingredients. When writing a recipe, i have a linked field where the author can pick ingredients in the recipe table. Problem is of course specifiying the amounts of ingredients in the recipe. With this method, I can just select what ingredients a recipe contains, not what amount that exact recipe contains of each ingredients. I was looking for some tips on this in the airtable “recipe organiser”-template. Here there is a recipe QTY field in the ingredients table – however, in the samples each ingredient is only linked to one recipe. Seems a bit superficial? In my base, same ingredients will be linked to many recipes. Probably the case in most recipe databases. The Recipe QTY field, of course varies between different recipes so the ingreedient cant be re-used ebtween recipes with different amount of say potatoes or cucumbe

I’ve created a form to accept job applicants into our airtable ATS. When I try to test it, I can fill out the first few fields, and then when clicking on the 4th entry box (enter linkedin profile link–link field, not required) the form goes completely blank. The whole thing disappears. Any clue? Also: happens in Chrome, not Safari. Safari works as expected.
