Time formulae to display current time based on (-5 -1 -10 (hours)) field

Could some kind genius point me towards getting the following result please? Field one - Numeric integer - Values of +12 to -12 (inc 0) Field two - Field to display current time +/- Field one. i.e. Be able to view current time in field 2 of an record that has a GMT offset defined in field 1. Convert URL to Attachment (Webflow Form + Zapier + Airtable)

Hi, I’m passing file uploads (jpg and pdf) from a Webflow form and would like to deposit the attachments into Airtable through Zapier. These attachments should then be zapped over back to Webflow to create a new CMS item. I’m having trouble bringing the files over from the initial webflow form upload over to the airtable database. They only want to show up as URLs but not actual attachment. Is there a reason for this? I’ve seen an app for this come up time and time again in my search (miniextensions), but I don’t want to pay $39/mo for it just yet. I have also tried creating an automation, but it doesn’t seem to work. The image starts getting uploaded but it disappears after a second— Is there an app I can integrate as a step in my Zapier process? Thanks!

INVOICE REQUERIMENTS

In the United States, an invoice is very different from what the government of Mexico asks for. If the invoice issued in Mexico by Airtable does not have the requirements that that government (SAT) asks for, the expenses in Airtable are not deductible and therefore are much more expensive for all that business that is paying taxes and that is operating within of the law. How can I get an invoice from Airtable with the requirements of the Mexico SAT so that I can deduct the costs of my ads? Invoices issued by Airtable do not meet these requirements. For example, the document must have the RFC (TAX ID) of the issuer and also the RFC of the recipient, and the folio.

Number field in source table changes to unusable field type in target table (in different bases)

Hello all, I created a second base where I use a synced table from the source base. This synced table had some percent fields that seemingly switched to some other type of value (looking same but it is not standing on the right side in the box but in the left side - similar as text does). Now I cannot do any calculations with this synced percent value anymore. Result is always #ERROR!, even when I try to use the “value()” command. What am I doing wrong? Source Base Table: Target base table, type has changed already: Then I cannot do any calculation with these values :’( How can I fix this?

2-Dimensional Matrix Look-Up

Hello, i am working on a look-up for a 2 dimensional matrix. A little bit of context for my problem: I am trying to find a value based on two different (numerical) inputs: mileage of a car and operational time. However, i have encountered several problems: The fields which are to be looked have a range of different lengths (e.g. -0.01, 0.14), so that the MID() formula doesnt work as the different values do not have the same length The Rollup formula in my “Opportunities” table is not returning a percentage but

Sharing tables with customers

I would like to share a base with a customer (A chain store) and grant him access as an editor. I want him to be able to edit content of fields but not to add or delete fields. The problem is that he can continue sharing this base with other people and grant them Editor privileges as well. Is there a way to share a view or a base so that the user I share it with won’t be able to continue sharing it?

Possible to Embed App into Website?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to provide users of my website an easy way to search the content of my airtable. I figured the Search app would do the trick. It works well - but I can’t determine if there is a way to embed the Search App into my website, similar to how you can embed your airtable view into your website using an iframe. Anyone know of if this is possible or how I might accomplish this? Any help is appreciated!

Losing Search Function After Trial Ends?

I am working in Airtable for the first time and it automatically added a free trial of the pro functionality onto my account. One of the reasons I want to use airtable is the search function that I have installed on my base dashboard. Is this a premium function? Will I lose it at the end of my free trial? I don’t want to put all the work into inserting a huge block of information if the function I want is going to disappear. Can someone advise? Thanks!

Automagic sorting

Hi, I’m new to Airtable. I am working on a project that will require automatic sorting and grouping of registrants. Below is an example of my problem. An event is created by a host and sets is a limit to the number of participants in a class Users register for an event. On the day of the event, the host verifies attendance, and the classes that exceed the limit must be divided into heats. (this is intended for a competition) How do I do part 3? I envision a way to divide groups that exceed the limit until the groups are below the limit. But, I don’t know the best way to do this. Limit = 5 In attendance = 34 In this example, I am left with 6 heat of 5 and 1 heat of 4. This is good. Limit = 5 In attendance = 36 In this example, I am left with 7 heat of 5 and 1 heat of 1. This is bad. One person in a heat isn’t much of a competition. Aside from the math, I’m not sure that this can be done in Airtable. Any suggestions?

Automatic Project Status Based on Other Task Statuses

Hey There Community! I’m very quickly learning Airtable thanks to it’s many resources including these forums so I’m hoping somebody will have the answer to what I’m looking for. I am trying to track what I thought seemed like a pretty simple process. And I may have gone a little further than I had planned so here goes: I have an “Order Items” Table with a Status Field, Payment Method, Delivery Method and Due Date. Multiple Records in this field are connected to Records in another Table for “Orders”. Each Recird in “Orders” sometimes contains multiple Order Items. So my goal is to allow There to be a Formula for Order Status in the “Orders” Table that explains the orders process based on a few factors. Hello, I am looking to use Airtable to: Register a volunteer to teach a yoga class Enter information about the location of the class Enter information about each class held at each location Enter information about students who attend each class. My current base has 4 tables: Teachers, Locations, Classes, Students Currently, I use a form to sign up the teacher Auto direct to another form that they use to input their location Choose their name from the list to relate to location When they are ready to put in a class, Use a form to add a class choose their location from a list to relate to class My issue comes when it is time to enter students. I need to be able to let the teacher add students related to a class. Hi, I am a seasoned Filemaker Developer. I am starting a new project where I want to offer a sports facility, they rent out four Sand Courts for BeachVolley, BeachTennis and other sports. In the basics they would have on their site a calendar, open time slots, a registering system… then further on probably links to payments for the reservation. All this in Brazil. My question… would you write this in Airtable… Is there a already made Service that is not too expensive? How do you see a project like that?

Airtable Times out when Trying to Convert a large field to Single Select

I have a larger base (for Airtable), about 30,000 rows and want to change one field with about 60 options to single select, to help prevent human error in the future when adding new items to this base. When I attempt to change this field from short line text to single select, it times out and asks me to refresh the page, and the change is not saved after several attempts. I’ve tried to turn off the “color” feature to make it easier to process, and still no luck. Is there a limit to this feature? What am I missing?

Not able to install SendGrid on airtable

Hi everyone, I am not able to install sendgrid. I clicked Marketplace>>Sendgrid>>Install. But nothing happens when I clicked install button. I have a pro plan, and would like to sent customized e-mails to my customers using Sendgrid. Any help is much appreciated. Best, Kathleen

Autocreate new row when data added to any cell outside of autonumbered ID in first column

I am wondering if there is a feature in Airtable that would auto create a new row when the last available row in the sheet has data entered in any column other than the auto numbered ID column that I have set in the first column position. For example, Lets say on row 6300 - the first field has the ID number 6300 due to the auto number feature, but there is no data in any of the fields that follow - is there a way that airtable can add record nunber 6301 when data gets entered in any of the fields that follow the 6300 record? API : trying to upload an image from google drive to airtable

Hi ! I am currently trying to upload many images from google drive to airtable, using API (Google Drive API v3 and Airtable API Wrapper). Sometimes, it works but not always. It uploads the image and displays this image -> Then, transforming that display into the image (case when it works) or blank (case when it doesn’t work). If someone can explain to me how to fix that, I will be very grateful :slightly_smiling_face: Some precisions : I am working with Google Drive API because I have like 500-600 images and I needed a web repository to upload images with URL on Airtable.

Page designer barcode field font size and weight

Fields added to the page designer in edit mode include the option to change font parameters (font, size, weight); except if the field happens to be a barcode field. One cannot change font parameters for barcode fields, does not show on side bar. My work around has been to temporarily change the barcode field to a text field, change the font parameters on page designer, then change back to a barcode field. Has anyone else found a different work around that does not require field type change? Or, are the font parameter settings for barcode fields located somewhere else?

Show a specific view to a collaborator and hide other views

Hi, We use Airtable as an editorial calendar for our team. Writers have their own views where they can only see posts assigned to them, which is great. But we don’t want them to able to view any other views (including the ‘all’ view). Is this possible? In short we only want collaborators to be able to view a single view (their own). It seems like pretty basic functionality but I can’t figure it out.

Possible to remove a record from a filtered set?

Is it possible to filter a table to a subset of records, then individually remove specific records from the filtered list without creating a new filter? Something like the “Omit Record” command in Filemaker.

Printing multiple photos in Page Designer App

I love that i can add multiple photos in one record. When I add the PHOTO field to Page Designer, is there a way to independently control the size of each photo? Let’s say I have 2 photos in a record… could I make 1 photo the main photo and print it large to almost fill the page and print the other photo smaller in a different location? rather than putting both/all photos into 1 field, which forces them to scale smaller than I want… ***FEATURE REQUEST!!!
