Hi, I was wondering. Is it possible to track who clicks specific buttons? It does not appear as though the “Last Modified By” field records clicking buttons, but correct me if I am wrong. Alternately if I can’t track who clicked a button, can I restrict which users are able to click a button? Thanks!

I wanted to know if Airbase provides the capability of sharing specific documents (PDFs, Google Docs, Images, etc.) with specific people outside the team (i.e. Clients) so they can provide edits, feedback and review? My agency needs a tool that manages the gathering of feedback and edits through an easy to collaborate platform. Currenlty we use SmartSheets but there have been issues and limits. I looked at On2Air Actions to see if it can help where Zapier and Integromat can’t. I am looking into integrating Airtable with eBay and Amazon. I need the integration to go the other way. Right now Zapier offers only downloading data from Ebay. Same goes for TradeGecko, Airtable Integrations | Integromat. It can’t send to eBay. Specifically I need to send new listings to ebay and amazon. So I am wondering if On2Air is potentially a helpful solution to get the job done easier rather than have somebody custom-develop an integration between Airtable and ebay/amazon.

Is there a way to see the history of view configurations? I have a view which had multiple settings and someone in my team must have re-configured it with realizing it was an important view. It was set up 3 years ago and I cannot recall all the settings I had in place. I need to revert it to previous settings, but do not believe this is possible in Airtable.

Hi guys, I am using gitpod.io as a primary development, as I run block run command in terminal when the port 900 is opened the gitpod environment exposes it as an external address like, https://9000-abc398a6-bb4b-4109-a7aa-31028842e9a8.ws-us02.gitpod.io/. When I try to add the following url into App URL field the following error message appears: App URL is missing the port number. Please check your terminal and try again. I believe there is two changes that need to be done for the gitpod environment works with block development. First, allow to start the local server without HTTPS as gitpod only proxy to http exposed ports in localhost Second, allow the gitpod exposed url to be entered in App URL field Thanks

Is there any way to enter numbers as exponents in scientific notation into Airtable? For example, we get readings from some instruments in exponential format such as 4.67e6 or 4.67x10^6 as in 4,670,000, but in order to avoid people making errors translating 4.67e6 to 4,670,000, I want them to be able to enter in the number the way it shows up on the instrument: 4.67e6 or 3.42e5, or whatever.

I’m trying create an externally facing site that does two things: Allow site visitors to input data into a form (I think this can be done with Airtable Forms) Once a visitor fills out the form, I want them to be able to search my database of records (I don’t want them to see the entire database, just their search result) Is there a way to do this?

Hi, Here is what I would like to do. I have a table T. This table has 3 views: TV1, TV2 and TV3. I know I can share publicly any of these views. But what I would like to share TV2 (and TV2 only) with joe@email.com. That means Joe needs an airtable account to access TV2. Is it possible? Thank you.

We need to be able to create a form that updates certain fields in a given record - not overwriting what is already in there, but adding to it. It appears that this cannot be done within Airtable but I hope I am wrong (or that there’s a simple add-on that can help). The adding-to aspect of this is vital for our purposes though. Can anyone help?

Hi, I’m new to Airtable. I want to create a form which has some fields prepopulated. The value in this field will change every day. eg. Initial stock is 28000. 22000 is current stock which is prepopulated to one field on form. 500 are sold. When form is next opened 21500 should appear. Is this possible? Can form pull values from linked base? Can an airtable form do calculations within the form? eg. 500 sold, 200 given away, 200 written off. 900 to appear in a different field and 900/22000*100% to appear in another field. Does anyone know of form options which will do the above? Formfacade with formranger addon seems closest solution but not really what I’m looking for. Conor.

Hallo I have created a field which is linked to another table and it all works well. Question is can I control HOW MANY show up in the small pop-up table from which I am picking th records? By now I have a title + 4 fields for every record. Can I simply have a title and maybe 2 field showing more content ? The problem with the “bar chart” (which is more accurately a column chart) is that for long labels, they get cut off. Anyone know of a way to generate an actual bar chart (horizontal bars) from a data series?

Hi, I’m passing file uploads (jpg and pdf) from a Webflow form and would like to deposit the attachments into Airtable through Zapier. These attachments should then be zapped over back to Webflow to create a new CMS item. I’m having trouble bringing the files over from the initial webflow form upload over to the airtable database. They only want to show up as URLs but not actual attachment. Is there a reason for this? I’ve seen an app for this come up time and time again in my search (miniextensions), but I don’t want to pay $39/mo for it just yet. I have also tried creating an automation, but it doesn’t seem to work. The image starts getting uploaded but it disappears after a second— Is there an app I can integrate as a step in my Zapier process? Thanks!

Hello all, I created a second base where I use a synced table from the source base. This synced table had some percent fields that seemingly switched to some other type of value (looking same but it is not standing on the right side in the box but in the left side - similar as text does). Now I cannot do any calculations with this synced percent value anymore. Result is always #ERROR!, even when I try to use the “value()” command. What am I doing wrong? Hello, i am working on a look-up for a 2 dimensional matrix. A little bit of context for my problem: I am trying to find a value based on two different (numerical) inputs: mileage of a car and operational time. However, i have encountered several problems: The fields which are to be looked have a range of different lengths (e.g. -0.01, 0.14), so that the MID() formula doesnt work as the different values do not have the same length The Rollup formula in my “Opportunities” table is not returning a percentage but

I would like to share a base with a customer (A chain store) and grant him access as an editor. I want him to be able to edit content of fields but not to add or delete fields. The problem is that he can continue sharing this base with other people and grant them Editor privileges as well. Is there a way to share a view or a base so that the user I share it with won’t be able to continue sharing it?

Hey everyone! I’m looking to provide users of my website an easy way to search the content of my airtable. I figured the Search app would do the trick. It works well - but I can’t determine if there is a way to embed the Search App into my website, similar to how you can embed your airtable view into your website using an iframe. Anyone know of if this is possible or how I might accomplish this? Any help is appreciated!

I am working in Airtable for the first time and it automatically added a free trial of the pro functionality onto my account. One of the reasons I want to use airtable is the search function that I have installed on my base dashboard. Is this a premium function? Will I lose it at the end of my free trial? I don’t want to put all the work into inserting a huge block of information if the function I want is going to disappear. Can someone advise? Thanks!

Hi, I’m new to Airtable. I am working on a project that will require automatic sorting and grouping of registrants. Below is an example of my problem. An event is created by a host and sets is a limit to the number of participants in a class Users register for an event. On the day of the event, the host verifies attendance, and the classes that exceed the limit must be divided into heats. (this is intended for a competition) How do I do part 3? I envision a way to divide groups that exceed the limit until the groups are below the limit. But, I don’t know the best way to do this. Limit = 5 In attendance = 34 In this example, I am left with 6 heat of 5 and 1 heat of 4. This is good. Limit = 5 In attendance = 36 In this example, I am left with 7 heat of 5 and 1 heat of 1. This is bad. One person in a heat isn’t much of a competition. Aside from the math, I’m not sure that this can be done in Airtable. Any suggestions?

I am trying to track what I thought seemed like a pretty simple process. And I may have gone a little further than I had planned so here goes: I have an “Order Items” Table with a Status Field, Payment Method, Delivery Method and Due Date. Multiple Records in this field are connected to Records in another Table for “Orders”. Each Recird in “Orders” sometimes contains multiple Order Items. So my goal is to allow There to be a Formula for Order Status in the “Orders” Table that explains the orders process based on a few factors.
