Hi everyone, I’m new to Airtable and am wondering if it’s ideal for this application. I am working with a community to prioritize product selections: everyone gets a vote, and if something is missing they can add it. Not unlike what Rtings is doing with their product review backlog: https://www.rtings.com/tv/suggestions Would airtable allow: Users to view the table sorted by votes Vote on a finite number of items (a fixed number, bonus: within a fixed time frame) Add items that aren’t there Fetch item previews from provided URLs (in Rtings case, it’s amazon.com)

I have used Airtable for 1 year dropping Dropbox files into many Bases. For the last week, when I go into the Attachment Field and click on Dropbox, only a few folders pop up and then as you scroll, it stops after a few folders and an orange bar pops up saying “Error requesting Cloud.” I have tried on other bases and have tried to check all accounts, but no such luck. Suggestions?

Hi, I run an e-commerce website I built in Webflow and already collect both orders and users data in Airtable using Integromat. I am new to Airtable but already in love with the product. I would like to use Airtable and the data I have put into it to enhance my business emailing strategy. For now, I use the standard Webflow ecommerce emails to send orders notifications to my customers and don’t have yet a proper email marketing solution. The idea is to pair Airtable with an email service (like SendGrid for instance) using Integromat to trigger all kind of emails, from order notifications, to marketing emails, to product feedback emails, etc. I would like to use Airtable as a supercharged leads database (with more data than just contact details) to send emails using pre-built templates that would be filled by data picked in Airtable. Hi all, let me try to explain what I am looking for and hopefully someone can follow and assist. I have a shared view link and wish to embed that into a web page. I want to filter the embedded view based on user input and not have to create multiple view links. More detail: User submits a form (think of the user “logging in”) Based on their input, the shared view link embedded on the web page is filtered (lets say by state) Cogntio Forms and other apps permit embedded items to be filled based on URL parameters. I have a couple of questions about billing which are making my head hurt when I try look up the answers in the support documentation. Maybe you can help? I have 2 business. One of which I run with a business partner who has his own “Pro Level” Airtable workspace that he shares with me. He gets charged for me being a Pro level collaborator and then I reimburse him that cost. My 2nd business I run on my own but I also want Pro level features on those bases. However, I don’t necessarily want to have to keep them in the shared workspace with my partner from the other business but I would get charged an additional fee for having Pro on 2 workspaces, correct? It seems weird that I would get charged for a 2nd Pro workspace when really all I’m trying to do is keep certain bases private and keep them visually organized. Hello all, I’m a total newbie and looking for a solution for tracking the progress of our swim school’s students. We have 10 levels, each with about 10 skills that students work on concurrently throughout the term. I need to be able to link a given student to one of our 10 levels, and to the teacher giving that student their lessons. Ideally, only the teacher of that student should be able to make changes to the student progress. They would do this by changing the % grade for each skill in the student’s level. So, I guess I upload the 10 levels, and the 10 skills per level. I upload a list of students showing what level they are working on, and who is their teacher. Is there a way to: a) keep track of past progress - ie, not just show that a student is now on 88%, but that last week he was on 74%, 66% the week before, etc? b) automate a change to a student being graded on a higher level, once a set percentage has been reached by the student in all

Hello! I have a table (Table 1) that came as part of the template for my base. I duplicated that table (Table 2) and am now using that. Whenever I return to Airtable for the day, it opens with Table 1, and I’d like it to open to Table 2 so I don’t accidentally start working on Table 2. Does that make sense? Is there a way to make Table 2 primary? Thanks!

Hi! A bit surprised I haven’t been able to find an answer for this, or figure it out myself. I have a table that has duplicate values in one column. I want to return all unique values from that column into a new column in a different table within the same base. Ideally, I’d like the column in the new table to be the Name column. How can I do this? Thanks!

Is it possible to reference button fields in page designer views?

I am working on creating a scoring app that allows multiple teams to participate at the same time and have several attempts at each challenge. How can I get a team’s different score submissions entered into their respective row? Scores would be entered at different times throughout the day through a form. Example: Team A: Challenge 1: 1st Score 100 2nd score 110 3rd score 105 Team B Challenge 1: 1st Score 100 2nd score 180 Team C: Challenge 1: 1st Score 100 2nd score 110 3rd score 105 I would like for the rows to be set up as follows: Challenge Team 1st score 2nd Score 3rd Score 1 A 100 110 105 1 B 100 180 1 C 100 110 105

Hey everyone, I am trying to add our product managers into Airtable and they would like to have a project schedule with the Gantt chart that also has dependents on the previous steps. My issue is they want to change the duration column from 10 to 8 for instance and the dates would automatically change. I’m assuming the start date is set but the end date is what needs to be updated. Any tips on how to make this happen?

Hi team, I’m loving Airtable but have a couple of questions: Print View - is it possible to remove all the outside boarders and URLs, and just have the content in the PDF? Hello - I’m having trouble with IF and CONCATENATION formulas Here is what I’m trying to achieve: Concatenate “SUB SKU” - “PRODUCT NAME” If “SUB SKU” = Blank, concatenate “Parent SKU” - “PRODUCT NAME” I tried it this way but it’s not working. When I do Group by field X from A to Z, there is one record at the top that is not in alphabetical order based on that field, then the rest are fine. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix? Thanks!

I have an Airtable set up that lists jobs and job links to external sites. The table is embedded on my website, and when I do an inspect and click on the button link - I see the class field clearly and the value data-button-field-button=“true”, but I’m at a loss on how to track that button click. I’m new here and our non-profit started using Airtable for managing media, and doing simple survey forms. How can I format bold, italic, underline form field names and the text boxes before the data field in the form builder - I don’t seem any option to do this. Help appreciated.

Hi All: This is incredibly simple I think but want to verify. In my view, I’m just filtering out the entries that older. I’m using Created Time and when I choose any of the preset options (one day ago, one week ago, etc.), it all works fine. When I enter in a specific number of days though, nothing will appear in the view (but should). When using a specific number of days ago for a filter based on created time, do I need to have a separate calculation for day count and base the filter off of that?

Hi, I’m wondering if someone can help me to automate something in my airtable base. I’m fairly new to scripting so not too sure how to do this. We have a base that we use for project management. The base has three tables - Projects, Tasks, Task templates. Each record in “Projects” can link to multiple records in “Tasks”. Each record in “Tasks” can only link to one record in “Projects”. Currently we have a set of template records in “Task Templates” that manually get copied across to “Tasks” and then linked to a record in “Projects”. The records in the “Task templates” have a number of fields that are already populated with standard content. I want to create a form or a script to copy a selection of records from “tasks templates”, link these to a record in the table “Projects” and paste these in to the table “tasks”. For each different record in “Projects” we can have a different selection of “Tasks” (i.e. there isn’t a standard selection of tasks for each

Hi, In one base I have the following: One table that lists my clients (Current Clients) One table that lists the client orders with cost per order (the Current Clients tallies the amount of units ordered but NOT cost) One table the tallies cost per client (total and per month). I need table 3 to tally the costs. I’m not sure how to do that. I’m a long-time Google Sheets users, but that experience isn’t helping here. I know I can tally cost in table 1, but I want a separate table to tally cost. Thanks.

Looking to hopefully figure out a (simple) way to send out automated approval request emails and collect the response back to the base. I know it can be done with typeform for example, but hoping maybe some of the new apps/automations could handle it all within airtable? For example, put in a purchase request and check the box for “ready for approval” that sends an email to the manager or managers and within that email ideally is a button/hyperlink that they can just click on that says approve or deny, which then updates the record with an approval or denial straight for the email (and subsequently sends a notification to whomever made the request). Is this doable without third party integrations at this time?

Have not (I don’t think) been able to find something that fits the bill here yet. I am trying to build (have mostly built) a base for our construction project to handle purchase orders. My base currently has 7 tables (Inventory List, POs, PO Details, Shipments, Shipment Details, Delivery Details, and Vendors). The idea/workflow is as follows: Go into the PO table and create a new purchase order with a unique number (hard-keying now but would like to switch to auto-numbering in the future) (say from home depot for lumber) Go into the PO details table and start creating detail lines in the PO (IE if I was buying lumber from home depot, I could add a line for 2x4s, a line for 1/2" 4x8 plywood, a line for 8’ 4x4s, etc). The detail description is a linked record to the Inventory table so if it is something I have bought before or buy regularly, I can just pull that up.
