I’m trying to get the parent name based on the page id and parent page id, the image below will exemplify better what I’m trying to accomplish. Does anyone here already did something like this or is aware about some Airtable native formula to do that?

I had the word ‘STUPID’ show up as the last name of one of my customers. (I have no customers with that last name.) It showed in bold up on top of the record, but not in the field, LAST NAME. The customer’s correct name was listeded in the LAST NAME field. The comment section on the right did not note that anyone had changed the name to STUPID. When I went back to check the customer’s name on the main list of customers, STUPID was no longer showing up anywhere. I feel like someone was messing things up in back of the record. There are only 4 employees who use Airtable in my office. Any ideas?

Hi, We have two separate paid workspaces that we want to combine into one. Is there an easy way to transfer bases from one workspace into another workspace that is under a different account?

I want to create a new form using Typeform block on Airtable share base. I can’t use this and I get error: Something get wrong If you continue to experience this error, please reload the page or contact the block publisher. I tried reload page few times but it didn’t work. I can’t send message to e-mail adress partnerblock+typeform@airtable.com. Could you know what is wrong with this?

Hi. Is it possible to completely turn off sharing of the views? Our company data is private and confidential and I want to be able to completely turn off data sharing via: shareable grid view link (allows read only access to an entire view) or form view (allows data input into the base table) If this cannot be done we cannot use Airtable; it is a deal breaker for us. I am surprised there does not appear to be a simple option some where to do this. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help offered. Jim

Hi there, Quick question about the revision history. Let’s say I created a record on January 1st and then upgraded to pro on March 1st. Will I see the revision history of January and February after I upgraded? Or the revision history only keeps track WHILE in pro? Thanks!

I’m trying to show a chart where records are counted and grouped by week. Nevertheless, the weeks where there are no records do not show on the x-axis. I would have liked these weeks to appear on the timeline with the value 0 rather than not showing up at all, which is misleading.

I’m am creating a database of sighting records of bird species. Each record includes: ORDER (a taxonomic unit for a grouping of species which may include one or more FAMILIES) FAMILY (a taxonomic unit for a group of species which may include one or more GENUS) SPECIES (the individual species) DATE SIGHTED (date species seen) Etc. For reporting, sightings need to be sorted based on the standard taxonomic order of ORDER>FAMILY>GENUS>SPECIES. I imported my sightings from a CSV in the standard taxonomic order. For example, the first set of sightings include: ORDER (Anseriformes - Waterfowl) > FAMILY (Anatidae - Ducks, Geese, Swans) > SPECIES (Anas platyrhynchos - Mallard) > DATE SIGHTED (January 1, 2018) ORDER (Gaviformes - Loons, Penguins & Petrels) > FAMILY (Gavidae - Loons) > SPECIES (Gavia Immer - Common Loon) > DATE SIGHTED (January 5, 2018) My question is how I create reports that apply or fix standard taxonomic order that always puts ANSERIFORMES fir

As you can see in the image, the id User can group the same records with the group button, but the Is it possible to show only the ones in this group with the most recent update?

Dear Airtable Team, Here is a video comparing the display of a long list of “products” linked to an “order” on 3 different phones: 2 iphones 7 ( A1660 et A1778) and 1 android phone (Redmi by Xiaomi). The 2 Iphone 7 have different behavior when we click on the “see all X linked Record” (there are 12 records, only 10 records are displayed). The Iphone 7 A1778 (in the center in the video) displays all 12 records correctly. The Iphone 7 A1660 (on the right in the video) displays the 10 same records and FORGET the last 2 !!! (no problem with the android phone) Regards !

Hi, I am new to Airtable and am working on a property management project. I’m trying to use Airtable to calculate property rental metrics (e.g. nights stayed, average rate per room, total revenue) by property. Each property (e.g. property 1, property 2, etc) is listed on multiple listing platforms (e.g. Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia, etc). The listing platforms allow me to export stay data, where each record is a stay (e.g. check in date, check out date, nights, total revenue, property, guest, reservation # etc). However, each platform has a different format, so I’ve created a separate table for each platform. I created a summary table where each row is a property and each column is a metric from one platform (e.g. Airbnb stays [count of rows in Airbnb table that weren’t cancelled], Airbnb total nights [sum of nights field in Airbnb table], Airbnb Revenue [sum of revenue in Airbnb table], same for other platforms). Hello, I have a list of Zoom sessions that I need to get out to my colleagues for meetings. However, when I put all of the information in the block, from the database on airtable, they don’t come up as Hyperlinks and they are difficult to copy from the PDF I send out. I was wondering if there was a way to make them a clickable link to make everyone’s lives easier. Thanks!

Why do I get this error message when trying to link Fields both to other tables and within the same table? Are you sure you want to convert to this field type? Converting to this field type may clear some cell data from every record in the table. If the conversion causes a problem, you can press CTRL Z to undo. Thanks!

I use Zapier to post data and and PDF file attachments into Airtable records. This has been working fine for months. Today I find that my PDF file attachments do not display previews in my expanded Airtable records - they appear as generic file icons - and the download icon/link is not visible - I can see only the ‘Rename’ and ‘Remove’ icons. If I click on the attachment to get to full screen preview, the viewer loads with an error message: ‘Unable to view file, please try again later’. Does anyone know what is going on?

Hi, Is it possible to link to a lookup field form from within another form? For example, if I have a form that has a lookup to a base containing user info, but this is a new user that doesn’t already exist in the table, is it possible to add them from within the form?

Hi there ! There doesn’t seem to be a way to do it, but I thought I should ask anyway. We never know… I’m color blind and those two colors choosen by airtable are about the same to me… :sob: Is there any way to fix that ? I’d rather have a blue instead of one of those two colors, that would greatly help me to figure out what is what on that chart… Thank you all by advance for your help ! :relieved:

Hello, I am working on a shared table with 3 other collaborators. Collaborator A made changes to information, but only Collaborator B is able to see these changes - Collaborator C and myself are unable to see the changes. We are all usually able to see each others’ edits and we did not change any settings. We’ve refreshed our pages numerous times and have logged out and back in, but nothing seems to help. Any advice on how us 2 can see the new edits? Thanks!

Hi! In Calendar View, any event that I have starting at 5:00pm or later, is showing up on the day * after * the date entered in the record. Please see images. You can see I have events records with date/time fields entered at 6:00pm on 9/1 and 9/8, and that the events are displaying on the calendar on 9/2 and 9/9. Ideas?

I’m designing a page with several Long/Rich text fields that are stacked vertically on each other. The length of the text in some of these fields is greater than others and it appears that the size of the display field is fixed and not responsive to the length of the text. Is this correct, or is there a setting to make the field display a size responsive to the length of the text?
