I have an Airtable account and so does my client. When they invited me to collaborate on their account it led me into my own account. I can see the collaborators in that company here and can talk to them but now I don't know if what I am creating is in their account or mine. I also want to know if there is a way to toggle between accounts so I can be clear about where I am. 

Hey! I am trying to calculate the percent change between two numbers in the same column, just different rows. If I were doing it in Excel, it would be =(B9-B3)/B3 but I can’t seem to find the way to make this formula work in Airtable. Is it possible? Hello. I am trying to create an automation or a script that updates a cell in a given table based on a unique identifier that can be matched to a unique identifier in another table. In my mind, I'm basically wanting to do a left join, except that I want to populate missing values in a column instead of just bringing the whole column in. So, more of a if x is null, x = value from column in another table mapped by a lookup value/unique ID.More detail about table structure:Table A: File NamesColumn A- Name [short text- is essentially file names, as in ThisDocumentName.docx]. Hello! I'm trying to write a script that I can run to populate a field in one table with a value that lives in another table. There are key values in both tables that match. I have worked in SAS and a little in Python for data analysis, but I am new to Javascript. Hi, I'm new to air table (about 2 months in, it's been in place at my company about 2 years)Some of our employees fill out a form on the flavor/texture of our product, where different categories are rated. That form in imported into another record with all the product information, so I can't see the results from their sampling unless I click the form, then it pops up.How can I get the information from the form into a spreadsheet? The person I replaced was doing it, but she's gone and didn't explain how to do it.

How can percentages be correctly calculated in the grid subtotals for groups, and totals for the entire view, when detail records are grouped and summed? It is not correct to average the percentages calculated on individual records. For example, see the attached image. The correct percentage gain is $500,000/$1,100,000 = 45%, not (50%+0%)/2=25% There should to be a formula calculated using the total of the two columns. Is this possible with AirTable?

Hi there... We are trying to use Airtable to forecast workload capacity vs. demand. Each project in our forecast has a number of tasks. Each task is assigned a "skill" (the skill required to complete that task), a person-week effort to complete it, and start/end dates. Hi all.  Airtable is refusing to allow me to create any buttons anywhere in tables (i.e. data section of Airtable), only in interfaces.When I try to create a button field in a table, I always get the same error message: "Sorry, there was a problem creating this field. Hi! I have an airtable base and within that base a table (table 1) several fields two of which are the email of the company and then a function that parses the email to get the company name.In another table (table 2) in the same base I have linked the company name to an investment fund.I am now trying to link the company in (table 1 ) to the fund it was linked to in table (2), how could I do this?One edge case I anticipate is capitalization / spacing, other then that there shouldn't be issues.I believe I need to use a lookup field but am having issues with configuration

Absolute Beginner here - still struggling to make Airtable do what I want. So here I am - ONE YEAR later after my first post here, and I am not much further forward in my use and comprehension of Airtable.Admittedly, I have not been continuously attempting to learn Airtable in all that time, but the interface really intrigues me and all the examples make it look really easy to master and the fact is - it isn't!  Being a retired database developer, I am not exactly new to the concept!However, I have just spent an hour trying to get a formula in an Airtable base record that gives me what I want - simple - you would think, but no - not for me!All I am trying to do is insert today's date when a status field in the record changes to a certain value.  I've learned that I can use the function today() in a formula field to achieve this. New to Airtable, really want to make it work but it seems that it wouldn't work well as a CRM where there is a record of all e-mails and Whatsapp messages between us and the customer, and the ability to send emails/messages directly from Airtable seamlessly (please correct me if I'm wrong).Therefore I am looking at a second service to handle that. Any recommendations that would work well with Airtable?

I have a date in CurDt and I want to add YrOffset to it and end up with a new date in a date format. YrOffset can be negative, positive or 0. I’m not sure how to do it.

We are working with Google Workspace in our company and because of a domain change, our email addresses changed. Since we are all using "Login via Google", we are not able to login anymore. No other tool had any problem with the domain change, just Airtable. We are a Pro user and I reached out to the support on Tuesday early morning. No answer until now. We are not able to access any of our bases. Any idea what we can do?

I deleted my entire workspace. I am unable to undo because the workspace deletion also took the Trash button.  Desperately needing help. Airtable support is unwilling to help and suggests I reach out to the support community. In the meantime the clock is ticking. The seven day windows to undo the deletion is rapidly closing.

I have one field that I would like to generate from three other ones. First Name, Last Name and Company If there is a first and last name in the directory I would like to display it as the following: Last Name, First Name If there is no person’s name then I would like it to only display the name of the company. I just don’t know how to remove the space and comma. Currently using this: CONCATENATE({Last Name}, ", “, {First Name},” ",Company) I’m thinking I need some sort of IF/THEN statement?? Thanks!

In a lookup field which returns multiple values (a comma separated array of values) the sort order seems random. Is there a way to sort this result alphabetically? Thank you.

Looking for help. We are on a pro plan and currently have a shared workspace, which means everyone in my organisation can access all bases. I’d like to amend this so that we can have private bases as well. Can anyone help?

Hey everyone,We're currently building a "content library" of video clips in AT... And instead of having our editors click a URL that takes them "out" of Airtable... I'd love for them to have a way to just play the video from WITHIN Airtable itself. Is there a way to do this?One thing to mention is that we are using Iconik for our media storage. So the code (or extension) would need to pull from/integrate with Iconik into Airtable. The purpose is just to make things easier/faster for our editors to click and play clips from within Airtable... instead of having to open a new tab every time they want to see a clip. Hope that makes sense! Hi all, newbie here - is there a way to create multiple columns in one go from a list of column title headers I have as a list? I have 60 + columns and have written the Column names down as a list (which can be also as rows in one column) and want to create all the columns in one go rather than one by one as it is time-consuming (all the columns are of the same type - text) . I have a table that collects the likes of my products. Here the corresponding product is created with a linked record. Unfortunately, in the table of products the reciprocal links does not work and I can not retrieve the entry from the other table. Why does it not work? (i have done this many times and it has always worked)

I’m working on a trouble ticket table that keeps track of support for our users. I want to be able to track when a box was checked. So I have a “Followed up” checkbox field and I’d like to track the time from when the record was created to when the box is checked. I’m pretty sure I know how to figure out the difference in time with a formula but I’m having a hard time getting the timestamp of the box being checked. I can see the time in the expanded history view but there’s no way to reference it as far as I can see. Any help or workarounds are appreciated!

I want to share my base with other "free" collaborators - how do I do this?2.  Once shared, can my collaborators update my Base or will they only have read access?3.
