Background:I’m keeping records of applicants in my Airtable base. I wanted the applicants to be able to review the information I entered into Airtable and make any changes to them if needed. I already created the form and a separate table to do so, and I created a link (in a formula field) to their own pre-filled form using the Airtable extension. I also already created the automation to update any changes made with their pre-filled form. All of that works great but only when you click or copy and paste directly from the link in the Airtable formula field. Problem:I wanted to set up an automation that would send an email based on a trigger field to these applicants with their pre-filled form and confirm their info. I tested it out with a fake applicant record but the link in the email is not showing any of the pre-filled fields when you copy and paste (for some reason its also not showing the link fully underlined). Hello - I saw a post about viewing all place my base is syncing too  - but there was no answer and the thread is closed now.Situation: We have multiple bases that are connected via synced columns. Data moves through the operations workflow. We would like to be able to visualize the system and any dependencies. I’m trying to generate or create something similar to the Base Schema extension but across multiple bases. Anyone know a way to do this? Thanks

Hi everyone,for a long time the page designer extension did a great job creating shipping labels for my records. But recently the page designer extension always crashes. I have the feeling that with the amount of records in my table - more than 30k - it became a problem for page designer. In bases with a smaller amount of records age designer works well. Does anybody else have similar issues?  Kai @ CPLI 

I have a base with a single table that I’ve published as a library. I went to add that to another base and noticed that there’s a description that I had previously given to the library base, but now I can’t figure out where that description lives. I need to be able to update that text. Is someone able to tell me where that info lives? Slightly longer description of the text I need to edit:In the new base, I click on the plus sign to add another table, and under the ‘Add from data library’ I click on ‘View more...’  Then I see a few cards with the bases I’ve added to the library, and they each have a brief description that was obviously written by me.

With all the new features within the last 2 year sure there is a better way for clients to update their own records. Although it works it is still clunky and would be great to streamline this process.  Context: I have been using fill out, where I send clients their unique URL and they fill info like dietary restrictions and it auto-populates/updates their row in Airtable. It was awesome connecting with such a talented and friendly community!During the event, while tackling different challenges, I had the opportunity to play around with the "Image Generation" field agent. It sparked a bunch of ideas for how we could use it in projects at my organization.Now that I am back (after rough flights)! I have enabled all AI models and AI Labs features in our Airtable workspace (we are on a Business plan). However, even though everything appears to be turned on, I am not seeing the “Generate Image” option, nor do I see any image related field agent available. Interestingly, I do see the "Video (AI Labs)" option.Am I missing a step to enable image generation? The precision of this error is completely useless…Google reported an error while processing this action: An error occurred while creating the Google DocIt happens +/- 10% of the time, always the same error, on different automation workflows.When I rerun, it passes every time, and doesn’t waste space to tell me it passed because it passed. I read it could be that it gets triggered while not all fields are filled, so I changed the trigger condition to “is not empty” for each of the relevant fields. I’m now out of clue, frustrated by this error description.On this community, I see other having “Mail service not enabled” or “Calendar usage limits exceeded” or “You’ve temporarily hit Google’s rate limit” Those are useful.But to report me an error for the reason that an error occurred.First time I see this.

Hello everyone,I am currently developing a base which will allow one of our departments to plan employee trainings (which will be conducted via Microsoft Teams).  Tranings can be planned and employees can be linked to events (via a Employee_Training table).Part of this solution should be, that after the event has happened, the business department wants to track, which of the invited collegues took part in the Teams meeting.So I would need a way to get the attendance list of a Teams meeting, cross reference this list with employee list in Airtable (propably via email) and then mark them as “show-up” if a match is found.Has anyone ever done something like this or has an idea how to achieve this? I appreciate all the support I can get. This is really more of a development & workflow request for help. I have around 60k Shopify variants across 8 different vendors. I get the vendors/suppliers produc master data at the UPC level via a CSV file, which I can import into a base. I want the workflow to to use the CSV base to search for matching UPC’s in the supplier/vendor base. If a match is *not* found then the records needs to be added to the supplier base then synced to Shopify. If the UPC *is* found in the supplier base then the records needs to be updated. There will be many deafult values if a new record is added, and mapping rules which would be different for each CSV base.I would appreciate anyone interested in a project of this type. Thanks

Hello, I want to build something and need your thoughts on it.We have seventy technicians who need to conduct an inventory of their vehicle contents once a year. I would like to map this using Airtable. I have the data of the technicians in another database, which I sync into the new base. Now the contents from an Excel file (each technician naturally has a different one) must be copied and pasted into Airtable. The inventory should then be able to be conducted. Each technician should only see their own data (this can be done easily via the Airtable ID). The technician should confirm at the end that the inventory is complete and then no longer be able to make changes. I am only missing the basic concept of how to best structure the base. I have an idea, but I am not sure if it is wise. Therefore, I would appreciate brief bullet point input from you. Many thanks! // Update ;) I can answer the first question myself right away. Hi all I have an automation set-up, that changes the status of a record. This is performed via interface/record picker view. As owner/admin I am able to run this automation when clicking the button, however my colleague who is also an admin, is unable to click this button. It’s greyed out.  I understand there are some limitations if the record is coming from a different base. Does anyone know a workaround please?  Hope I’m making sense here… Thanks!

Hi!I am looking for a workaround, where I can turn a single record with multiple dates into separate records with a single date… new records are created via FillOut.  we’re a charity delivering some programmes over multi week periods. An employee completes the fill out form, puts the dates they’d like us to deliver the programme on, and then submits the form. i can view all these dates via calendar view, but was hoping to view them via list view also but as they’re individual records it won’t work this way. sorry this probably isn’t making much sense but hoping someone will understand where I’m coming from…thanks!
