Hi ! I've set up a time zone - which is the same for all collaborators - in events I plan in Airtable. However, when I send au automated email to my collaborators to let them know they've been assigned to an event, the time zone in the email is not the correct one, hence, they get the wrong time in their email assigning them to an event. Is there any way to solve this? It seems weird that the automation changes the time setting...Thank you so much!
Hi All. Longtime reader, first-time poster. I'm having a logic issue that I can't wrap my head around and I'm hoping the hive mind can help.I am building an automation in a base that tracks travel. The goal of the automation is to send an email to travelers with a summary of all of the logistics of their trip. One category I'm really struggling with is listing contact information for other people going on the same trip. Right now, the traveler profiles are in one table, the individual trips are in another table, and the parent events that those trips are connected to (conferences, etc) are in a third table, and they are all linked. The email automation is being triggered by the trip data, and ideally, I'd like to pull the contact information of all of the travelers who are linked to the same parent event as trigger record. It feels like it should be simple, but my brain is not working this one out. Do you have ideas?
Hey everyone, We wanted to share a tutorial and template for building landing pages on Airtable. You can use Airtable as a CMS to manage all your assets, copy, SEO and site structure. Then with new tools like Next.js - you can build a static website that loads incredibly fast, is easy to deploy, and can be quickly updated with a couple clicks in Airtable. In this first part in the series, you’ll walk step-by-step through creating a simple splash page for a fictitious uptime monitoring company: Uptime Sentry Uptime Monitoring World's more reliable uptime monitoring service for websites, SSL certificates, port and ping monitors. Sign up today! You’ll learn: How to configure your Airtable base as a CMS How to connect Airtable to Next.js using Airtable.js How to load your images, copy and search tags into the site In upcoming parts you’ll expand to pull more data into the site and add multiple pages.
You can now play with a demo (early alpha) release of Airborne Search which includes all six example Airtable bases (and 23 tables) in its index. This is an early release and intended only to provide a glimpse of the solution and search experience I created for a number of clients that use it with Airable and other data sources. It’s simple and has a sparse UI, but it’s functional and fast. To use it, log in with your email address and “airtable” as the password. I’ve also shared Airborne’s Configuration and Log tabs so you can see how it is organized and what people are searching for along with some search analytics. Enjoy… Holler if you have troubles accessing it.
I am trying to build a survey with 000s of questions. For each question I am wanting to store:Response - multi-line note.Rating - a score out of 5Assignee - who the answer is assigned to.Response Type - a drop down to select a pre-defined answer - there will be up to 5 per question, each one is unique to the question. Is there a way to do this?

I hope everyone's doing well! I wanted to share a solution to an issue I faced last night—something I think could help many of you, especially if you've been stuck like me, looking for ways to visualize your data using radar/spider plots.📌The ChallengeIn my line of work (and I’m sure it’s the same for many of you), I frequently need to compile multi-dimensional profiles—think student grades across multiple subjects, or sales metrics across different KPIs. Pie charts and bar graphs are good but don't quite capture the essence when you have to look at 5 or more variables simultaneously. I've always felt that Radar Charts could be the perfect solution for these multi-faceted profiles.📌The SolutionAfter a bit of tinkering and some late-night coding, I came up with an Airtable base that generates radar charts directly from your records. I found this incredibly useful for embedding in reports and using in the Page Designer block for quick presentations.📌How it Works1&

I have a base that has a number of tables representing incoming work from different sources (e.g. a jira tickets table, a slack messages table, a spreadsheet process table, a email table). And I want to combine them into a single 'team workload' table that I can create views in summarising who's working on what type of work item.Airtable's multi-sync feature (https://support.airtable.com/docs/multi-source-syncing) is a great way to do this with 1 drawback - it means I need to create an entirely new base instead of just add a new table to my existing base.Is there any way around this? I'm not sure why I can't sync/multi-sync within an existing base? Thanks for any thoughts!
Hi! We have a huge project with several tasks where I need to add to a timeline the completeness average percentage and, I think, this can be done in single task with this summary of the average percent of the grouped tasks. In other words: I want to filter some tasks (yes/no) to make them appear in the timeline (they have dates) together with the related percentage of completeness. I know that I already have the average percentage of completeness in the grid view, when groupping by any field (please check the print screen, where I group the tasks by the field "module"). Now I want to show this percentage in the timeline. But how? I hope AirTable have it by default.... 🙏 !!!Print:1=Avg. % when groupped by module2=Task (line) where I think the avg % can be included.3=Timeline where, I think, if I filter by that task, the summary of the groupped tasks will be showed.Thank you
Extremely frustrated with the lack of communication from Airtable. I've spent 6 weeks trying to get several questions answered. We had the same experience when trying to onboard with Airtable. Unfortunately we stuck it out and continued with Airtable instead of going in another direction.
Hi everyoneHere's a simple base with an interface that can be used for employees/visitors to clock in and out of a location:https://amazingairtable.gumroad.com/l/lvcyc The interface could be on display on tablet from which people select their name and click when they arrive/leave. Also allows people to clock in and out for the breaks if leaving the site on the same day. All you need to do is pre-populate the list of people who will be on site each day.
In need of some help understanding exactly what I am being charged for. If anyone can help shed some light, it'd be greatly appreciated. I have attached a couple of screenshots. The $720 for 3 bases for the year, I understand, I think. But its strange because I have 4 bases. The "remaining time on team annual" for $167 is confusing though. Is this for the entire workspace? And only for half the year? Thanks in advance for any insights.
Hello, (If I'm posting this in the wrong place please feel free to let me know.)I've created an Airtable Discord Channel that I would like to share with the Airtable Community. A place where community members can go to get help or provide help to other Airtable users. Currently the Discord Channel is new so there are no users as I write this. I'm looking to grow this community with helpful users and provide a place for anyone to come and seek help.If your interested in joining, please come and join! https://discord.gg/5BZHhQFBXg
"If you're on our previously most expensive Pro Plan, we're taking away business-critical features and you have less than one month to rework your entire base structure to fit new limits, pay us twice as much, or f*ck off" – Airtable, basicallyHave fun talking to your clients this week!Edit: Since this post is being kudo'd and people coming to the forum about this might see it first, I wanted to put @ScottWorld's summary of the 4 big downgrades to the $20 plan at the top:Automation runs have been cut in half to 25,000 automation runs.API calls have been reduced from unlimited to 100,000.Attachment space has been cut in half from 20 GB to 10 GB.Multi-source syncing has been eliminated. As previously stated, we all have less than a month to rework our databases to fit into the new limits, or pay Airtable twice as much. Support thus far doesn't seem willing to budge or offer any help. Question for people on the $20 plan: How are these downgrades going to impact

I am the author of the Prefilled Forms extension. Over the past three years, many people have successfully used it to generate formulas for prefilling their Airtable forms with existing record data. Airtable does not give third party developers usage statistics, but I was told at one point that it was the most popular third party extension and that thousands of people use it every month. However, Airtable recently released changes in the share url for forms which breaks my extension. Airtable now includes the base ID in the url instead of just the share ID. I found out about this change from users contacting me saying that my extension no longer works. Due to the volume, I am posting here instead of quietly replying to these support requests individually. The workaround for this change is very simple. When copy/pasting the url of the shared form, manually remove the base ID from the url. The extension will then continue to work as normal, and the share url will work as it always has with
Hello! We've created a way to export Airtable data with a SQL query, under one API call. It is built into our app CSV Getter for Airtable.I've written a brief guide to show how it works. Feedback encouraged! Happy to add new features if it is useful to any fellow Airtable users.Best,Gavin
Any suggestions on this? I am trying to get the number of kids in a particular grade into the Current # field.
We just added a tutorial on how to create AI-generated blog post videos inside Airtable. It uses the Data Fetcher extension, so it sits right inside Airtable!
Hi All! Google Tables Offers Dynamic filtering of linked records. Some People Refer to this functionality as cascading drop downs, conditional selects, dynamic linked record filtering. This has been a feature many people have been asking for since airtable launch. Given the google eco system, I may very well jump ship. Take notes airtable.
Hey everyone, I just started learning Airtable scripts and I wanted to share my first project. This script uses the free Radar.com API to lookup a valid address from a partial address string, and saves the first matching result back to the table with individual fields for each component of the address. Just add the Script extension and paste in this script, then fill out the settings pane with your API and field names. FeaturesSkips rows that already have a complete addressCaches results while looping over the table, then performs a bulk update to increase performanceSplits bulk update into batches of 50 to avoid issues on large datasetAPI error handlingHere's the script:let cfg = input.config({ title: 'Radar.com API Address Validation', description: 'Validates addresses using Radar.com API. Requires an API Key from Radar.com.', items: [ input.config.text('radarApiKey', { label: 'Radar.com API Key' }), input.config.table('selectedTable', { label: 'Table to use', descri
