Hey All I have a template table with sample dates, this is a process our company uses over and over. I am looking for the easiest way, to keep all dates relative to each other the same, but just advance all of them 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 10 weeks, etc. the goal is to take the template created now, and not modify each record by adding the time manually and make mistakes, but to be able to advance all the dates forward at the same time and by the same amount. Also, is there any way while working with a gantt chart to click and select all records after a certain date and push them back a week or two? the goal of this is to be able to quickly adjust schedules in the event of a delay, ie, leave everything that is in the past as is, and ‘grab’ all future events and bump them back x amount. thank you

I am strongly considering moving to a more expensive plan, but here are two issues that are making me question whether or not it is worth it:1. Whenever we go to create a new record in our base on a mobile device it often closes the record automatically before we have completed filling it out.  We end up with a bunch of stub records that I have to go and clean up on a regular basis.  This typically happens when we haven't been using the app, launch it, start to create a record, and then, it closes without warning.  It's almost like the app hasn't fully loaded and synced, but our use case typically involves getting a call, launching the app, entering the order, so it happens frequently.2. When we create records and add a start and end date, the view often shows an inaccurate date for one or both of the fields.  If we close the view/navigate out of the base and re-open the base, the data is usually correct, but it is confusing to enter data and see it show up incorrec

We currently are exploring if Airtable is suitable for us (small agency). As part of my investigation I ran into the upgrade options to 'Team plan'.While we only intend to have a very limited amount of editors/creators (max 3), but do like to added functionality of the Team plan, it seems impossible to reduce the amount of (6) seats in the Team plan.In my case, with 3 intended seats, I would pay minimal $40,-/seat/month (annually).How can I get a Team plan for 3 editors and unlimited commenters? Thanks for helping out 🙂  

Every time I try to add creator access to the new treasurer of our school society , it doesn't work. It makes the person have commenter access but then when I try to change it to creator under the drop down menu when you go to "manage access" it tells me there's an error (Error: pglpqKAGvjJY649Z1) and I should refresh the page (which doesn't work FYI). When I try to share a link instead , the new treasurer says that she either still can't access it or that it says there are too many people on the page already. (so I tried to delete some old collaborators off the page but it still doesn't work and still says there is too many people). How can the error be fixed and how can I share the page with creator status to the new treasurer and president of our society ?

Hi! I'm new to Airtable and I'm trying to create a dynamic data base. The goal here is to have a table with Clients info and then other tables that relate to the Clients info table. Let me explain it further: I have a table called Clients info but then I also have other tables such as Spaces (which offices they are renting and other information about these offices), Communication (social media profiles, presentations and others). I want for each record on the tables Spaces and Communication be related to the Client Info table records.How can I do that?Thanks!  

I am trying to extract the first 6 digits from a rollup so that the main column is automatically filled with the resulting ID, but when I use this formula, I get #ERROR in the fields.

I recently had to figure out how to get the fiscal year from a date field. Surprisingly, there wasn’t an explanation and ‘copy and paste’ formula already on here (or I just couldn’t find it). Here is my take on the challenge: To use this - Make sure you have a date field to reference labeled ‘Date’. Add 2 new fields, one labeled ‘Fiscal Year’, and the other ‘Year’. Make the one labeled ‘Year’ a formula field and copy and paste the code below into the formula area. DATETIME_FORMAT({Date}, ‘YYYY’) Make the one labeled ‘Fiscal Year’ a formula field and copy and paste the code below into the formula area. IF(IS_BEFORE({Date}, DATETIME_PARSE(CONCATENATE(‘06-30’, “-”, Year))), CONCATENATE("FY ", Year), CONCATENATE("FY ", VALUE(Year)+1)) That’s it! The end of the fiscal year in this formula is June 30th. If you have a different year end, change the ‘06-30’ in the Fiscal Year formula. I then hide the Year field and group by fiscal years. It is great for seeing historical trends.

Dear All,Newbie here! To simplify our current workspace, we would like to duplicate our main base (let's call it A) and delete any entries in the duplicated version (B) with a deadline after June 2023. B will be used as archive for our past work.Then we would like to run an automation in A to remove any content with the deadline set till June 2023 (so we are only using what is for use " current content")This is a one-time automation; we do not need it to run multiple times. I have seen Airtable use the thumbnail attached in this post to promote its interface webinars and more. But I can't find anywhere how to add a map interface as shown in this thumbnail, and the community posts I can find about maps are quite old and don't answer it. Does anyone know how to create this??

Hi Guys, I want to send a document (attachment field in Airtable) for digital signing and then have the returned document saved in Airtable also. Effectively the unsigned document will be loaded into Airtable via a form and once certain conditions are met it will be sent to another recipient for digital signing. Is this possible through integromat or zapier? I don’t have a preference on signing platforms as of yet - just whatever will work really. Thanks in advance, Theo

Use case: Within an table (called ‘Meetings’) user creates a new record (i.e. a meeting) User adds date/time, text description, attendees (collaborator field), videoconference link (link field), etc. Automation sends a invite to each attendees email address (from collaborator field) as an email with .ics attached or alternatively as an MS Outlook Invite. NB. this is not the same as much of the functionality which just creates a record in a user’s calendar - as this doesn’t provide sufficient notification/visibility to the attendee that they’ve been added to a meeting. They need to receive an email - which can then create an event in their calendar. I can send an email from a record easily, but making this an invite/event or adding an ics had eluded me. Any suggestions welcome?

I am looking for the Airtable equivalent of a HAVING clause in SQL.I have a view with the following fields (columns):NameTimestampPointsDeltaNow I want to add another field named PointsTotal which should be automatically computed as the sum of the PointsDelta of all records in that same table having a Timestamp <= the Timestamp of the current row.I tried to do this with rollup but there is no way to enter that condition. Hello everyone! I am designing a table in my Airtable Base that allows my employees to create invoices as records. I would like them to be able to link materials from the Materials table so they can add several materials that they had used on the job within the same field. I would like to know if there is any possible way to select a quantity for the items in the field. For example, if I select an item, I would like to select the quantity I used of that item. Please keep in mind that the field is linked to the materials field as “Link to another record.” Here is a screenshot of the Invoices table: I appreciate anyone’s help in advance. Thank you!

Hi all,I've followed the advice, and every other ticket on this subject that I can, specifically disconnecting and deleting previous Gmail, integration, connections, and re-adding them, including adding three different accounts in case that's the problem. I've also created a new automation to see if that's the issue, although the air table processing seems to be okay. I've also waited a few days and tried it all again to see if it was a temporary problem somewhere on the stack, still no luck.I just keep getting Gmail related errors like those below. What can I do? Any help appreciated."Google reported an error while processing this action:Request had insufficient authentication scopes."   

Can a Salesforce Integration be Done Via API? I can’t stand using Salesforce and due to acquisition, our company has multiple instances, which screws up data integrity. I’m using Airtable on the side to clean up records but would love to be able to pull in fields form Salesforce or publish new data back to Salesforce.

What is included with Cobuilder with free plans. Her it says trial and limited. Do they mean trial is for free accounts and limited is for legacy plans? The price list says AI is not available for free plans anyways, but I assume Cobuilder and AI are different features. 

I've spent some time building some Interfaces and found that the best way to group things the way I want is to have a new table that holds groups as Linked Records. Here's the set-up:Table 1: Events{Day}{Month}{Year}{Roster}Table 2: Roster{Day}{Month}{Year}{Events (Multiple)}This way I can roll up the team members and even build interfaces that help the Admin side adjust the roster by viewing a day's overview and then clicking into individual events. This all works perfectly!Now I want to automate. I can build the automations to create or update the records in the Roster Table triggered when the Event table is updated. However, this seems largely inefficient. Sometimes when I edit events in bulk, it creates multiple Roster records since they all get updated simultaneously.At the moment, I'm triggering this "manually" with a checkbox field. But this means I have to go into every single day and trigger just ONE of the events that day.Am I missing something? There must be a better way tha

I have what I suspect is an array issue with Airtable's back-end, but it's preventing me from filtering on the front end, so I would love some help.I have 3 tables: Books, Products, and Authors. A book might have multiple authors, and each author may or may not have a bio. I have made a roll-up in the books table for author bios with this formula: IF(values, ARRAYJOIN(values, "\n\n"), BLANK())I have also tried it with just the ARRAYJOIN, and no if statement.I then have a 1-to-1 relationship between Books and Products. In the Products table, I have a look-up of the roll-up of the bios in the Books table. Here's the issue: when a title has multiple authors, but none of them has a bio, the roll-up should obviously return blank. The look-up in the products table should return blank. But when I filter products by having the look-up be blank, the record in question won't show up. I tried filtering by newlines, whitespace, anything I could think of, but I can't find how AT

Hi there!I need to send calendar invites by email automation to people I book for events. I'm using Make to create the calendar invite and upload it as a file in Airtable.Then, I'm using automations to send the .ics file as an email attachment to people I book for my events. They can then download it from their email and it creates a calendar invite for them. Everything seem to work just fine when I test things.However, I have two types of emails to send via automations : Initial invitation when I'm booking someone to an event :Triggered when the entry matches conditionsSends email with .ics attachmentThis one doesn't work and the error is 'An attachment url is disallowed' Updates (for when something changes such as the event duration) : Triggered when the entry is updatedSends emails with .ics attachmentWorks fine! Any idea why my initial email won't send? My guess is that it's because the trigger is too fast and the file hasn't completely uploaded to Airtable

In airtable I have created an automation 'send email'. I 'insert value from field', the field being a number. The number comes from an Airtable field which is a formula that is formatted to $123,456. The 'insert value from field' is not formatted and comes out in the email as 123456.123456789. How can I pass the field format to the inserted value?

My reason for learning Airtable is to use it  to develop a way to handle registrations for blanketsofblessing.com outreach to newborn to 7 years old.  The information on the registrations has to be sorted in different ways and this has been done by hand in past years.  It is nice to be here and I appreciate the opportunity to join.

Hello!I have a formula field set to format as a percent in the table. That field is then part of a linked record lookup field in a table that will trigger automation to send emails. I want to share that percentage in the email.
