I’m trying to use the Ceiling function to round a function result up to the nearest quarter, so 0.25. But my results are only rounding to the next 0.10. How do I get it to always round up to the nearest .25, .50, .75, .00? It works like this in Excel but can’t seem to get it to work in airtable.

I have two tables with the same fieldsTable 1. Current Data (Read-only)Table 2. Proposed Draft (Read/Write)I want users to be able to edit records in the second table. Table 2 can then be submitted to a workflow. If approved, data from Table 2 will be joined to Table 1.Essentially, is it possible to join (concatenate) one table to another with the same fields? 

Can the buttonAsync be created dynamically? I have an array of Order Numbers called filteredOrderNames. Interface designer says "nothing is published" and does not give any action to continue on interface design. It only displays the error message. 

Kanban view allows one field to be selected on Stacked by option. Is that possible to select multiple fields? I have a table called budget. In grid view, I can group the record using multiple fields but the same is not possible.Budget table has property name, budget cycle, budget status, budget name, ....10 other fields. In grid view I have grouped the records using group by option.In the kanban view, allows a single field only to be stacked. But I need multiple filed like grid view 

The problem is, for example when creating a new table from import, and having fields with 0s and 1s, it imports. then you change the field type to checkbox, and everything works.Now, if you already have those fields as checkbox, and delete all the data from the table for ex, then import back in, the fields doesn't recognize the data and every checkbox field is just blank. the system should already determine when importing back the data to map correctly to the checkbox type field. and dont omite data.Best regards, Lorenzo  

Hello! I have the below table that list Rooms with the associated Furniture and Accessories that belong in them. I would like to be able to filter on a field in a separate table for Client ID. The thing is because I’m keeping track of Rooms over time for each client, multiple Client ID names display when I link the below table to the other table for Client ID. I tried to filter on 1 particular client’s name for Client ID, I could also see the other clients that have used the same type of furniture pieces. I only want to see information for 1 person. I hope this makes sense. Is there a way to make this happen?

HI, I want to be able to select multiple records in a base and update a field in all selected records. I’m thinking this will probably need a script where I can enter a value and then push a button to update all selected records with that value. Has anyone done this or have an idea to get me started please? Thanks

One Relative Table "Booking" to a Timeline View of another Table "Front Desk" has a Rollup Field "Error": "IF(COUNTALL(ARRAYUNIQUE(values))=1, FALSE(), TRUE())", which calculates if was error or not.Interface of a Timeline "Front Desk" is not showing correct color by a condition. Airtable Table works fine. Only a issue in Interface. Thanks.P. S. When I update values in a Table, Rollup field calculation is correct. Interface works only at the beginning, after - no changes (color stays the same). In Interface in DevTools during resizing of Timeline i see such errors...and Rollup Field looks like that

Hello, I have been invited as an editor of another user's database. I pay for the team plan, and the other user does as well. However, the creator of the database is being charged for having me as an editor. Is this correct? If I already pay for the team plan, why does he have to pay for giving me permission to be an editor in his database?

Hello,I was hoping that somebody could tell me what I have set up wrong in this update record automation. Every time it runs I get an error message emailed to me. I have included three screenshots, one for the trigger, one for the find records action and one for the record update action. Any help I could get would be most appreciated.

We’re working on creating reporting interfaces for our projects and have hit a snag. We’re trying to filter records based on Status while grouping them by Company using the tab functionality in Airtable. However, Airtable keeps automatically grouping the records by both Status and Company, which defeats the purpose of using the tabs as status indicators.Does anyone know how to prevent this additional grouping? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello! I have an idea for an automation and I'm not sure how to go about it. I have an automation (in zapier) currently where when the referral source is left blank when an employee schedules a client in our scheduling software, the client name and email is added to an Airtable base so that we have a running list of who to reach out to and ask for the info. I wonder if it's possible to send an email to the employee asking for the referral source. I was thinking it'd be great to just send an airtable form but I don't know if I can send a form that would update an existing record? The referral field is not always applicable so making it required isn't an option. The existing automation filters whether the referral source is needed. The process in my head goes like this:-New record is added to Airtable base that includes name and email. The record also has a single choice field that is left blank with the possible options.-An email is sent with an airtable form asking the employee to

Sometimes it updates automatically and sometimes you have to refresh the page to see the update. I have a business plan.I have set sharing permissions for a new interface to 'general access' - ie anyone at my organisation can see interface. When i view as them in editor mode i can see the interface. However, when they log in they cant see it.Any ideas? 

Hi there, I'm new here, was hoping someone could help guide me on a small problem I cannot seem to resolve. I need a simple solution and instructions how to create a roll up of some designs in my list. So that when a design has more than one color, I can leave it rolled up, so when I am scrolling, I am not going through loads of the same design.So, as you can see [a] is the first one and any after that b, c, d, etc. will roll up underneath. I tried using roll up but really not sure what I am doing. I'm obviously doing it wrong and wondering if there is a simple workaround that I don't know of.I have many designs I want to do this for too.The second picture I have moved a, b, c, d, etc. from the SKU to a line of its own but unsure what to do next. I need a step-by-step guide, if possible, please.

I have a table (source table) synced via a one-way sync to a table in another base (target table). I recently changed the name of a field in the source table, and I noticed that the name of the field in the target table did not update to match the updated field name of the source table. Is there a way to automatically sync the field names, or do I have to manually update the field name in the target table? Thank you for your help. 

It won’t find the slack channel I need and when I use the “Find channel” option I can’t search for it either because when I type it into the search field it doesn’t do anything. If I hit return, it just picks whatever channel is at the top of the list and doesn’t search for what I entered.

I recently switched from google drive to dropbox for my content uploads and when I try to add a photo into the attachment from my dropbox integration it only shows me the content in my dropbox in a list view rather than a grid view. I'd like to see it in a grid view so I can see all the photos as is and not as the file name. Is there a way to change this? TIA! 

I can't believe a very simple feature in excel/google sheets is missing here in formulas when it comes to subtracting two numbers and if it's negative - show the number in one color, and if it's positive - show the number in another color so I have a pretty simple setupField 1:  Cal+/-Formula is: 2300 - Cal   results will be a number Less than 0, 0 or greater Formula is:  If({Cal+/-} < 0, ??, ??)What do I use in the ?? to show less than 0 in red  or 0, greater than 0 in green  

Trying to import an Excel file into Airtable with selections in Excel field.  Is this supported by Airtable's import function?  

Hello,I am looking for some help on an automation I am trying to run.  I am trying to use a make.com webhook with airtable so that when a new record shows up in airtable it sends the webhook to make.com.  I have the script that I am using and the connection and everything works but the webhook does not send the correct bundle of information.  It sends the record ID and then just generic information like 'header 'recipient', etc.  I am a school teacher and not a coder so I have been trying to get Chatgpt to help me with the script and I feel I am really close but don't know the scripting language enough to diagnose the problem.  Any help would be appreciated.let table = base.getTable("Injury Report Form");let recordId = input.config().recordId;// Fetch the specific recordlet record = await table.selectRecordAsync(recordId);// Check if the record is fetch

Hi,I tried using != Blank() and NOT(Blank()) on several occasions for my formulars and have been getting different results. I'm not sure why.Is it because only one of the two works and the other is ignored by my formular? Or does it depend on the format that I am trying to evaluate (dates, integers, strings)? Any help on clarifying this would be greatly appreciated and prevent mistakes in the future.

Hola AirtableforceoneFirstly, if anyone wants to know how to extract helpscout images from threads and then send them to dropbox and then over to Airtable .  will share that here. Thats 8 hours of my life gone but it's easy now Iknow.BUT - one last question. Right at the very end. How do I fix this?I have Make/Integromat adding an image to an airtable row by providing a URL (Ps, I made a public one of course, used drop box yadayada).But when I upload the image, it deletes all the images in that row rather than just adding another. Cant find any switches of settings for it. Any ideas? Seriously, Make is so far more detailed than Zapier but this last piece is a killer.

Hey Everyone, I am working on a project that brings together data from a number of tables, text and images that are trigger by a web hook in a web app using softer. The web hook is used to tell zapier what data to search for airtable. Then in Zapier the data is parsed into the Google slides document, which is then converted to a PDF, then printed. It is an amazing no code rube Goldberg situation! The method that I am pulling data from Airtable is using the Search, the search provides URLS for the images, but when they are linked to in a. browser, it says that the URL is expired.Airtable support suggested that when  you use the "New/Updated Record "method to pull records, that there is a "Include File Contents" option that will pull the PNG information into the zap making it useable in Google Slides.In an effort to not overcomplicate things, I was wondering?is there another way to get the PNG data from airtable using the "Search" method?
