We are using airtable as a database for some of our raw materials. However, when we receive a raw material order we have to fill out this PDF document for compliance with regulations. I can add the form to a record as an attachment, but the form is not able to be filled out using this method. There is a new form for each record. We are using an iPad in the manufacturing floor to manage all of this.

Is there a way to create a multiple select options via scripting blocks? I would have though if you set a field to a new option that doesn’t exist it would create it but doesn’t seem to be the case

I have a table with a list of Products, with various details about the them.I have a linked table with the products' prices.The reasoning behind the decision to separate the two is that the prices change from time to time, and for different sales channels, the prices vary.I'd like to set an automated email that is fired when a new product price record is created.The email should include a grid table that shows:The records of the current and previous prices of the relevant product.I'd like to pull not only all the prices of the same product, but to also include some conditions.For example: all the filtered records should be the prices in the same country (e.g. Germany, or the United States).Please recommend the best practice to configure this requirement.

Trying to work through how I might accomplish this. We are using airtable to store some QC records which eventually have to be passed to an owner and would not be able to live in airtable forever. Table 1 would have the relevant "items" and then tables 2-5 for example would have different types of qc records related to the item(s) in table 1. Table 2 might be paint QC that is for a particular area (1-1 relationship to table 1) whereas table 3 might be a daily report that could cover activity for multiple locations (1-many relationship to table 1). Each record in tables 2-5 would have a PDF attachment of 1 or more pages.What I'm trying to think about doing is running a script/automation/something that would grab all of the PDF attachments, compile then together by report type, then create a table of contents and add hyperlinks in the PDF that match the linking structure in the base. I've watched several videos, and read the documentation. They all say to append "?prefill_MemberID=12345" to the end of the URL for my form. But I'm trying to use the new interfaces, and I'm pretty sure this does not work. I've verified it works in the old forms. But when I 'upgrade' my form to the new interface designer, it stops working. 

Hi,I'm pretty new at managing users in Airtable. I have downgraded a number of user accounts from "Editor" to "Viewer." However, many of them have regained "Editor" status, within a day of the downgrade.Are users getting some kind of notification when I downgrade them?Are there likely mechanisms for the users to regain Editor status?Are there reasonable ways to control for the Editor status, so that our number of Editor (aka billable) users is manageable?Thanks, and have a good day,Joe Montibello

I have a gallery view of event participants embedded on our web site. On the card view, one particular field is followed by a big extra space - see right after the 'City, State' field in the screenshot here:This extra space does not appear when you click on the card to see the record detail:The only difference in the data is that the 'City, State' field is a formula, combining two fields with a comma. But, I don't know why that would display an extra line in the gallery card. Any ideas?

I have a database with two tables connected in a one-to-many schema. I built an interface with two pages, and I would like to link them using filters so that when the user clicks a button in the parent page, the child interface page with childrens data opens, filtered by the selected parent. Is there a way to implement this natively or through a URL?

Hi All!Been looking around for a solution to be able to select multiple dates on a form.Knowing that a date field can't support selecting multiple dates I've created a table that has all the dates within the calendar year as records and then am using a linked record field to allow them to be added to the form.The challenge is it's a dropdown that I can only select 1 at a time. I was testing to see if holding CMD or SHFT or OPT might unlock a multiple select ability on the dropdown but no go.For another workflow I created an interface page that allowed checking a box next to desired records and an automation to update a targeted record with the selected POST the form being submitted and creating the target record but that would be clunky for this workflow.Any other suggestions?

I have created a List view with Nested Levels enabled.  The data displayed is good for the nested Field, but I need it to display the data in another area as well.Data.  I have a  Level build like this: Am creating a martial arts curriculum and need certain skills to show in the belts they are learned.  So there are base skills and then "series" that those skills are used in.  The base skill is learned in one belt, but put together in the "series" in the next belt.  By using this nesting I can nicely get the "Series" to show the nested skills under it:But as you see in the last column, those nested values need also to be shown under the Yellow belt, but do not currently.  Is there a simple way to get them to sh

It appears that I am not the sole individual encountering this perplexing issue, as evidenced by numerous prior discussions on the matter. Our organization has been utilizing Airtable for a duration exceeding four years, and we are eager to transition to the Enterprise tier to accommodate our growing capacity needs. Regrettably, my efforts in submitting the contact form on multiple occasions—at least four thus far—have yielded no response.I find myself perplexed, as I would readily invest resources into resolving this predicament, should the opportunity arise.Has anyone among you managed to successfully navigate this transition, or does it seem that Airtable is consistently unresponsive to inquiries of this nature? Hi I'm quite new to Airtable, I've created two bases and now I've realised I would benefit from all the tables being in one base. Is it possible to transfer a table tab from one base to another? (incl vews/formula/field types)  i can copy and paste but would mean i would lose all of the views and have to start from scratch... Thank you!Sarah  

I have the following script to create records in a table. Event Name is a Single Select field. Hi Airtable team, I am trying to upload more than 1 file with Integromat iterator and the logic works but Airtable “kiils” the last action and uploading only 1 file. How can i use Integromat and arrays to upload multiple files to the same field without deleting the previous ones? Thanks!

I am creating a contact management database.The master database contains all the fields related to a person. The unique field in each record will be the email.This database needs to be updated from two different source. Each source has the same data but the header fields (field names) are labeled differently, and are different from the master.Example:Source one:  First name is labeled  "f_name"Source two:  First name is labeled  "first_name"Master:          First name is labeled  "First Name"What I want to be able to do is create a relationship between each of the sources to the master using the email (which is unique in all databases) as the key field. Each source will have (needs to have) it's own field mapping to the master. Whenever any of the source databases is updated, a single table in the Master database will be updated. Hey I'm quite new but couldn't find an answer : I'm looking to show the average of a column in the interface. To be specific, I have a set of data from one table and I'm selecting certain data from another table, and I want to calculate the average of specific values from this other table in the interface. (It's for managing events, so I have a list of events in one table and another table with all our members and for example their age, and I select the participants in the specific activity and want to be able to calculate the average for example of the age of the participants from the list of members).Hope it's kinda clear, thanks!!

I have an Airtable database set up where we track entrepreneurs we work with in Sprints (Jan-Apr, May-Aug, Sept-Dec). One feature I need to implement is a way for our team members to submit revenue updates as often as they need based on entrepreneurs they work with that earn revenue.The way I currently have it set up is the following:I have a form created called revenue updates for the team to submit when they need revenue updates for their entrepreneursIn the form and in the airtable database, I field called "Guarantee Period Revenue" where they enter their revenue information and they select the entrepreneurs name from a drop-down field that connects back to the main database recordThis has been working; however, there are 2 issues that the team faces:When they enter the revenue into the field, they must remember what was previously entered and add the current revenue + new revenue before submitting the form.Entrepreneu

I've got an automation that creates new records based on content in the triggered record, but the linked info disappears after about 5 seconds and I see the attached screenshot.A more concrete example - I've got a project record that I can add defined tasks to from a task template table. I made a button to generate new task instances for those linked tasks in that project. Those task instances have a link back to the task template record.Initially everything works as expected, and I go to my tasks instance view and I see the new task instances that are linked back to the task template. But, after 5 seconds they disappear and I see the attached screenshot for the linked task template fields.

I am looking for an analytics solution for tracking link clicks and counting attachment downloads from embedded airtable views. Is there a good solution out there for this already? I’m having trouble finding a good resource for this. I have several solutions but they’re rather labor intensive and I’m hoping this can just happen automatically after initial setup. User clicks external link from embedded airtable record on website> +1 count in analytics for that link click. I am about to go test this, but does anyone know if you can use a google events to track link clicks in airtable?

Hello,I'm experiencing a bug with a list-type interface that I created for one of our clients. This interface allows them to validate product deliveries. To send the necessary information to the relevant people, I set up an automation linked to a button within this interface.iPhone users are able to send the information without any issues. However, on Android, if the user is only invited to the interface and not to the base itself, the automation does not trigger. Please see the attached photo for reference.

Is there any way to set an automatic log out from Bases? If users are using a base and forget to log out even if they close airtable that persons bases are open to anyone who opens Airtable again on that machine. If there was a way to set an automatic full log out after a period of inactivity this would ensure base privacy. Alternatively could the administrator of the base have the ability to log all users out if necessary.

Hi all,I'm running into some issues and dead ends with getting a linked field to display multiple links the way I need them. Right now, I have a linked field that looks like this:You can see the newest records (the ones on 9.19.24) displayed first, tracking what I sent someone and when I sent it.When I add something new in the future, I would like it to display first (i.e. to the far left), because some of these cells have 50-60 entries.. but apparently Airtable will ONLY sort these by the date a field was created? Also, when expanding this cell, I'm also seeking a way to either 1. limit the number of linked fields that display (i.e. to 2 or 3), and/or be able to add a new linked field at the top of this list:Right now my only option
