Hello!I have a formula field that calculates the number of hours between two date fields. I want to then parse this into categories based on the duration:A = hours ae greater than 96B = hours are greater than 24, but less than 96C = all remaining positive values less than 24D = hours are negativeThank you!!

Hi. I've bumped into an issue when I want to send an automated email based on a field containing an email address. I've got two fields, one lookup that shows me the email address based on a selection from Email-Committee List. Help articles suggest using this formula -->> CONCATENATE({Committee's email (from Email-Committee List 2)}, "") but when putting --Calculation-- field in the --to-- field in the automation it comes back with the message that "The "To" input is empty" and I don't know what I'm doing wrong there.

I am creating a budget and have amounts incoming at various frequencies. I want to create a field that calculates the monthly amount based on a formula. Hello, this is an airtable newbie question:I have searched here, watched videos, and am completely failing with the following problem:I want to create an automation that sends a mail to ALL mail addresses contained in table 2 when a data record is added to table 1.I have the trigger, it works, it's simple.In the actions, I only have access to the data of table 1 in the To: field (where the mail addresses should go), not table 2.How can I access the data of table 2 at this point?Does anyone have a comprehensible tip for me?Many thanks in advance for your timeBoris

Beginner here, asking a question which has no doubt been asked a lot and probably has a simple, obvious answer! Apologies in advance...I have one table containing all of our customer bookings. In this table there is a formula field that takes the date that the booking was made and assigns it a week number based on a weeknum formula.I have another table where I have the week numbers listed from 1-52 in a field. The outcome I want is to have other fields that adds up figures from the customer bookings that took place in the same week number. Simple SUM-like formulas that add up how long the bookings went for, how much they cost etc (all of which are fields in the original customer bookings tables).I'm not sure if I'm using the correct terms when I am googling this info but I haven't found anything that helps as yet.I made a mock base that might better show what I've got and what I want

Bar graphs are super useful at looking on your data. Often, a 100% bar graph is really needed to compare categories.In this example, I'm comparing the effectiveness of different messages. Currently, as each message type was sent a different number of times, a precise comparison is not fully visible. If the graph was a 100% graph, the comparison would be obvious and easy. This is why Google Looker studio and other products are offering 100% bar graph and not just the regular bar graph.Attached is the bar graph from my example, and a (random) 100% bar graph.

 Hi there, I hope I'll find a smart head here that will help me tackle this issue. I have two automation working on the same basis, we get an import from G Sheet, there are numbers there and we want to make the specific fields into a unified table, to create a 'clear' view with all crucial data in one place.One automation takes the numbers and places them like it's asked, but the second one keeps on screaming at me "Field cannot accept the provided value: Could not parse number." This is really confusing as there are no operations run on both of them, just simple data, and one works, whereas the other is just being difficult. Any idea what can be causing that? I thought that it just can't do numbers but one works so it's not that, both are done the same way and the issue still occurs. 

Hi All I’m creating a budget database and need some help trying to figure out how to create a formula in one table that pulls values from another (not even sure I can do this). I have 3 tables: Income table where horizontally the months are listed with a value and two wage types are listed vertically and it is auto-summing at the bottom of the table. I need the combined monthly income to pull into Bill table where each month is listed horizontally and each bill vertically…and the amount of each bill for a given month is listed. Budget to Income table…here’s where it gets messy for me. I need the combined income from the Income table for each month to drop to the appropriate month field… I need the combined value of each month from the Bill table to drop to an expense line by month Is there a way to do this? Hi, I don't know if it is possible and I don't how to do it, or if it is a feature that is still not available in airtable.I have 2 tables: Reports and Users.I divided the reports by categories (1,2,3 etc), and I created different views for each category.I would like to lookup or rollup the category in the user table based on the different views that I created in the report table. In this way, I will filter the users by the categories, and I can apply some automation. Without this feature, I have, for example a person that has this: I would like, for example, that this person has only the code "5" and filter all the other data based on that.Is there any way that I can do this? Thank you 🙏

HI there–this question has come up before but there has been no useful reply from Airtable. Seems like several people would find very useful the ability to remove the “view larger” link from web site embeds. This option takes users away from one’s web site and also I have a private group so I don’t want people outside the group sharing the table with anyone. Can the “view larger” link be disabled? I am a pro member and I’m surprised this is not part of the customization option. Thanks!

I want to store the total number of employees in the programs table to calculate the participation rate. Additionally, I'd like to break down the number of employees by position to calculate the participation rate for each position. I have three tables: Programs, Employees, and Tasks. While I can easily count the number of employees who complete each program or task, I am struggling with creating a field that sums the number of employees from the employee's table and places that total in the program's table to calculate the participation percentage.

Hello everybody,Until know, what I've been doing on my Airtable databases in terms of naming is I use:- the singular for fields that contain only a single valueVS.- the plural for both fields that contain multiples values and tablesEx.: In my 'Invoices' database (see attachments), I use 'Service' in the Line Items table because each line item matches only one particular service, but I use 'Services' in the 'Invoices Receivable' table because there are usually multiple charged services on one invoice.While battling with Documint in order to automate the generation of PDF invoices, I figured that this discrepancy might be the cause for problems in data retrieval.=> Do you have best practices to suggest in terms of field/table naming?I would very much appreciate our help on this one.

I'm having a hard time finding a simple script that will allow you to duplicate a record via automation.My end goal:Trigger: When a record matches a condition (i.e. a checkbox is checked off)Action: Run script --> this is where I can't find a script online! Dear,  I am using the following automation :    It works perfectly fine...but not in every case.Indeed, when the field value contains a space (i.e. "The Demons") or a number within (i.e. The4demons) it doesn't recognize it (even if that of course exactly the same value from a table to another). Does someone have a way to handle this issue? Have a nice day, Arthur

Hi all,I am having a little trouble. I have a base where all my transactions are summarised in a grid view as below.That works like a dream. Now I need to do two calculation, First I need to minus the subtotal Cost of Goods from the Income. I know I cannot do that in this table, but I think I can create another table where I can do this, based on these records. I am just having trouble making it work. I have tried but for some reason the linking is not working correctly.Can anyone help me with some clear instructions how to set up the second table so I can calculate my Gross Profit (once I have done this I will be able to work out the rest).If these is an extension that anyone knows that allows calculation on Subtotals that would be good. I just do not want to have to export to excel each time I update!Many thanks, Mark

When creating an email automation based upon a record being updated, I want to include the name of the person who updated the record in the email. I have used the field 'User who took action - name', but it returns blank for both the preview and live automation email. Why is this? I am logged in and have a name associated with my account.Thank you

Hi everyone, I'm an AirTable newbie but I have some experience in web development. I'm trying to use REST API to implement table which has a server-side pagination. This means I can't preload all the results to get the pagination parameters like total count. Usually, the API endpoint which returns the records would have this parameter. Unfortunately it doesn't exist so I'm wondering how to do this properly without fetching all the results on FE beforehand. Thanks for the help !

Someone is sharing an Airtable with me, not my account, "use this data" available..How can I sync this data to either another table I own or via Zapier to trigger a zap?Or do i need to request they share the table with me another way?Figured someone here would know....

I need to evaluate whether or not an attachment field is blank with an IF statement. Variations of double quotes and the BLANK() function don't do the trick. Any ideas?
