We run a weekly vege bag program, and I need some help scaling up and improving our record keeping. Members can get their vege bag delivered for a fee, or pick it up.We ask members to commit to being a delivery or pick up, but there are always a few who need a one-off delivery each week.This creates 2 checkbox fields:"regular delivery"and"one-off delivery"On vege-bag day I create a view that filters only "one-off delivery" and "regular delivery" to create my delivery list.However, for tracking payments, we need to be able to see a history for each weeks' "one-off-delivery" (to make sure the delivery fee is being paid), so simply unchecking the "one-off delivery" doesn't work that well. However, creating a new field each week with "Delivery 30 march" and then a new view which filters "regular delivery" and "Delivery 30 march" is cumbersome and prone to human error.This might seem fairly me

Dear Community!When creating a timeline view with a "Day" timescale the horizontal axis ranges from 1st Dec 2023 to 20th Aug 2024. Is there a way to adjust these start and end dates of the timeline?I'm trying to make use of the timeline view for planning shifts during an event that only goes for a few days and the massive range on the horizontal axis makes the view basically unusable.Best regardsHenry

Hello, I am brand newt Airtable. So far it has been very good and a pleasant experience. I am a long time user and developer in MS Access. So there is some adjustment. In Access, when you link two tables, you can tell Access that you want to link via one field, but display another. So, I have a table with a linked field to another table. Airtable is showing me the primary key. Is there a way to show a more informative field? I am so used to using primary auto numbers that I cannot break the habit. So now all I see is a record number. I would like to see say the customer last name that is part of that record. Thanks in advance for the help. Best, Scott

Hello, On my Database  I have a table called "inventory".On my work spase i have two users, me as an admin and the second as an Editor user only.In the Inventory table i want that the second user will be able to create his own records and edit them, but cannot edit my records- right now he cannot delete the whole record but he can delete the values in his fields.Is this possible?

Does anyone know the formula to subtract 3 hours from date and time field but... show just the time please? This formula provides the correct answer showing date and time but... DATEADD({Departure Date & Time},-3,'hours') ...when I add this to the formula to they and show just time -- the time is completely wrong. DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Departure Date & Time},-3,'hours'),'h:mmA') My attempts have resulted in a series of #Errors. Hello everyone, I have two tables: Pre-production and Production. I was able to make an automation so if I "approve" a project submitted through form to Pre-production table, a new record is created in Production with the same name and info. Now I want to make an automation so if the info in Pre-production table is updated, it will also update the same info in the Production table. But I keep getting an error. What am I doing wrong? 

Hi. I'm creating a base that would be populated by the form. There'll be some fields that will be handled inside the base by paid users. I've created an automation that would send an email to a departement once the status changes. People would get a link to that record so they can change the status but when I tested it, an airtable account that isn't in our workspace doesn't have the ability to access that record. Is there a workaround that would allow people who are not in workspace to interact with  the base through the link generated in the automated email? All we want them to do is to change the status.I'm attaching a few screenshots. What we want is to have the user see the record as in the screenshot named airtable4. Thank you! 

Hey guys,I'm having trouble using a valuta like € 1.333,61 in a formula. It's being recalled from another table using a Lookup field. I've tried adding a new formula column/field and reformatting it first, before using it in a formula, but without any success so far. I keep getting the NaN error when using the value in a formula. All other fields/data in the calculation are valuta's like € 1.333,61 as well. Can you guys give me a hint? Thanks!

I have data coming in from interface forms that is structured with headers like this:Name 1 / Email 1 / Address 1  / Name 2 / Email 2 / Address 2.... and so on, all the way up to 100! Yes, 100!We use this data to fill in PDF forms so it must come in as 1 row (at least with the app that I am using, I am using PDF Maker by Bustbrain labs).My question is, is there a way to split this data into multiple records like this:Name / Email / Address (header)Name 1 / Email 1 / Address 1Name 2 / Email 2 / Address 2Also, I need the data to sync, so that if there's an update on the 1st table where the data is in a single row, it will also update the data in the split records.I am open to a script, automation, syncing and duplicating tables, whatever I need to do to accomplish this. HiI am a curriculum coordinator in higher education and have multiple bases/tables/forms that contain/gather information about course units in the curriculum. All information always relates to a course unit, e.g. Business Economics. All the information needs to be linked so I can always look up information in other bases/tables, but I'm not sure when to create a new base, create a new table in a base or create a new view. These are some of the data I have:Curriculum 'technical information': per course unit how many credits, elective or not, prerequisites, timing (SEM1 or SEM2) etc.Curriculum task allocation: information that comes from an export from our CRM which shows which lecturer will be teaching a particular course unit in which semester(s) to which class group. I’m trying to make shortenings of company names using a regular expression, by taking taking the first letter every part of the name. Fx ‘Great Garden Centre’ → GGC I’m not sure if this is possible without a loop, but I’m also no buff at using regex. I’ve sofar I can only extract the first letter using this: REGEX_EXTRACT(Company, "\\b[a-zA-Z]") Is this possible without looping through every word?

Hello! I'm trying to set up automations so that each time a new form is submitted, an email notification is sent to 4 different email addresses. However, I get this error message: "Cannot email non-collaborators on the current billing plan."The problem is that the email addresses are from my bosses, who are the ones actually paying for the Airtable plan, so I don't understand why they are considered non-collaborators? I appreciate the help on this issue, I'm new to Airtable. Thanks!

Hello! I have created a student database and while the linking between tables worked as recently as last week, the copy/paste function appears not to work anymore. Specifically, on the ‘Contacts’ table (see screenshot), any time a new record (student) is added, I would like to copy and paste that name into other columns which link to other tables such that the names show up in those other tables. For example, as seen in the screenshot, I would like to copy and paste the name ‘Kamala Harris’ to ‘Snapshot_link’ such that it shows up on the Snapshot table. However, I’m unable to do so-- I get a ‘Pasting…’ message and nothing happens. Currently the Name field is a formula, but it won’t work even if I make it a single line text.

Hey,Something super basic to do in any excel, python script etc. but how to get in in Airtable?I want to create some kind of ID for each customer. First customer has number 900100, and each new one (this is a child table) should get the number +100, so 900100, 900200 etc.Is there any way to do so? (ps autonumber is not an option as you can edit it, if something goes wrong and you add a row by accident it ruins the sequence)

How do I concatenate these two fields so they show values with not so many digits. I would like to show 2 decimal digits.

We have an automation through Make.com which uses an API call to import data into Airtable. This has run for 18 months without issue. We are recently getting an error 'Field cannot accept the provided value' The data is a text string which begins with a hash e.g. '# 100'. The field is not a computed or linked field, it is a single line text field. I cannot see what has changed that this data cannot be accepted now. Any help?

Hi Everyone! I'm trying to design a judging system for a science fair styled event but I'm wondering if there's an easy way to do the judging assignment through airtable or if I can do it through Excel then transfer to airtable. Right now I have three tables: 1. Judges (All the judges are named and given a unique number) 2. Projects (Each team & their assigned table) 3. Scoring (A grid + form view where each judge can select their name + the team they're assessing through the form - I use linked records to group the teams and get final score). Is there a way you would recommend assigning each team 3 judges with team receiving any one judge more than once. Maybe there's some trick by using a number to represent each judge and the random formula... Would love any ideas.
