Hey everyone,Really excited about the new dynamic filtering feature that was just released. I’m trying to implement it on one of my bases but I’ve hit a bit of a snag trying to make it work in my use case.Here’s the deal: I’m with a company that handles housing for employees on a certain project. The employees work in rotations, being on the project for three months and then off for a month, before coming back again. To keep track of apartments and maintenance, we have check-in and check-out forms. The catch is not everyone fills them out because there are just so many of them, and it’s tough to keep track.Right now, when filling out the forms, employees pick their name (which links to our Employee table) and their apartment (linked to an Apartment table). After they check in, their name gets linked to that apartment, and it gets unlinked when they check out. (This gives us a clear view of who's in which apartment at any point in time)What I want to do so

Tena Koutou! I got momentarily excited by the received webhook trigger in automations (old news I know, just got round to it seeming like a time saver!) only to learn that there is limited access to nested data within the json payload… I’m sending a payload via webhook from Typeform => Airtable. Works great. I just can’t access the nested data I need. super frustrating. Seems like a fairly standard issue feature to be able to access nested data within a JSON object. Has there been any update to this? Anyone have any work arounds that dont involve third parties? I’m happy proxying the webhook through vercel serveless function but just seemed like a quick win to manage it in airtable. Any advice hugely appreciated! Luke

I've seen a few posts about using Stripe but we're hoping to use Square.The form is for a paid event and needs to collect a little bit of information before taking a payment to accept the booking.Again, I'm aware some folks have achieved this with Stripe and Zapier, Make or Fillout. I'm wondering if anyone's used Square?I want to really reduce friction here and make it as simple as possible, and I want to embed it into my website. So I'm essentially creating a checkout process. Can anyone help? Even just as a recommendation as to which of the automation tools would be the best bet here would be useful.

Hi all – I’m brand new to Airtable and super excited about what it can do for our business. Has anyone tried migrating from the Streak CRM (which embeds within Gmail) to Airtable? Although I love Streak, it can get clunky for ongoing and complex relationships – and I think Airtable will be better suited to that. If any experienced Airtable users have already done this, I would love to learn from you!

One of the advantages of Fillout is its ability to edit form submissions, among other features not available in Airtable.Now, my question is regarding the setup of the "reports" table. I plan to use the students' emails as the primary field in the "reports" table. Since the same emails will already exist in the "applications" table, I want to link these primary fields to the corresponding emails in the "applications" table. This way, I can easily access and view all the information related to each student in one place.Is it possible to achieve this using an automation? This is a basic hack to sort a simple list of pre-determined roll-up values (e.g. 12 months) without a script or 3rd party automation.In the example below, month values from the Sub-items table are rolled up in Items table / Unsorted column.  Columns 'M1', 'M2', 'M3' use a REGEX_MATCH formula to check 'Unsorted' for the corresponding values.  The column 'Sorted' uses a series of IF statements to to join these together in the right order.  

We have a fleet of vehicles, with a entry_date and exit_date, we also categorise their type (passenger/commercial). I was hoping Airtable could graph (suspecting only line graph will work here) each month of the year (Jan 2023/Feb 2023/Mar 2023/etc) and the total count for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles where the month of the year fell between the entry_date and exit_date. Has anyone done this before? Thanks for any help in advance!!

Hi, I am trying to design a scheduling tool for my business, and the timeline view is proving itself to be very handy. One think I can't quite work out is what 'precise' or 'expanded' does - in certain views. For example, if I have a morning and afternoon booking on the same day, when viewing the whole week, these display as 'full day bookings', and therefore take up two lines. I expected that 'precise' view would show these as two bookings on the same line (representing exactly the amount of time they take up), and 'expanded' to show as I've described, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I can't see why it wouldn't do that - as obviously the software can render records smaller - the month view demonstrates that. It would be great to see these bookings in a single line. Can anyone shed any light on whether this is designed behaviour, or something unusual in my setup?Thanks for the help,Richard

Hey Airtable! I'm looking for some complex scheduling help. I'm using Airtable to schedule a multi stage music festival, and we're hoping to have a formula that will look for scheduling conflicts for individual performers at specific times. I have an example of how we have the scheduling started attached. The main record name is the act, and then we've created different set times for different stages across the three days. There are also individual performers listed for each set, since some performers will be playing in multiple bands. So basically, I want the formula to be looking for scheduling conflicts for individual performers during specific windows of time. Is this possible? Do I need to be building the worlds longest IF/THEN formula? Appreciate any advice!

Hello everybody, at first I set one column in my table 1 so that I can link it to items of records from a different table 2 (via multi-linking to record). Then I wish to fill a different column in table 1 through rollup function with another matching item of the same records from table 2. Problem is, that the order inside the rollup column is automatically opposite to the order in the first column linking to the record. I would like to have the same order in both columns, but I cannot set anything about the order connected to the rollup function. Can anybody help, please?

Hi everyone,  I'm trying to be proactive with the the imminent change to the integration with Airtable. I've connect Zapier via the App Update (Presumably using OAuth) and connected Make with an OAuth connection.  However, I expected to see the connection appear in Airtable under the developers OAuth section but there is nothing. The new Interface feature allows you to filter a collaborator field by “current user” which is a great time saver. Anyone know if they will make this available in regular AirTable views? I really need it.

Hi,We have a scoring system that rates functionality in an interface. So as not to bias the total score, if the functionality isn't present we ask evaluators to give it a -1.In Excel, the final score is determined by a formula that:Counts the number of criteria where the score is >= 0Determines a max possible score based on the number of criteria scored (e.g., there are 10 criteria in a category but only 9 of them got scored the max possible score is 9*3=27 (9 criteria scored * highest possible score))Adds the values for each of the criteria scored to get the actual totalI'm able to use sum to get the total score but I'm not sure how to get the number of criteria scored without using countif which Airtable doesn't seem to have.Is there a way
