I have a table from the Strategic Planning base I am synching to a table in the Marketing base.I created an automation to create a record in the Requests table of the Marketing base when a record in the synched table contains certain data.  This is working brilliantly.However, if someone changes a field in the Strategic Planning base (i.e. due date) base, and the date is updated on the synched table in the Marketing base, I want the data to update on the Requests table too.  I cannot seem to configure the update record automation correctly.Help!!!

I’m starting to learn to use iOS shortcuts and watched a couple of YouTube tutorials and I’m trying to run a basic post function but this error shows up: {“error”:{“type”:“INVALID_REQUEST_UNKNOWN”,“message”:“Invalid request: parameter validation failed. Check your request data.”}} I created a blank document and just wanted to input a new field data. I copied the URL from de Airtable API and also I copy the API key. Hello!I'm trying to automate my email workflow using Airtable, but I'm encountering a limitation as I use AWS Workmail for my email service. Currently, it appears Airtable only offers built-in integrations with Gmail and Outlook.Is it possible to connect Airtable to AWS Workmail using the IMAP protocol, similar to how it integrates with Microsoft Exchange? This would allow me to automate emails directly from Airtable.I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or workarounds you could offer to establish this connection between Airtable and AWS Workmail.Thank you for your time and assistance.

We have a rather large table that needs to be updated/inserted with a datefield value from another table. This needs to be done only once.Table 1 is about 30K records.Table 2 is about 120 records.Table 1 (that needs to be updated) is linked to Table 2. I'm pretty sure there is a rather simple solution to this conundrum but I can't figure it out.

Hi, I was wondering if airtable offers securing a particular table in a base using a password. I want to use the table to store tokens and hence want it to have restricted access.  Any other suggestions on how tokens of third party services like Box can be secured safely in airtable?  ThanksChandrika

I’m trying to create a SWITCH formula checking for specific text within a field. For instance, if there is a field with a bunch of random numbers and then a name, I want to check for the name in that field, not match the entirety of the text in the field.

I am trying to make a graph that will demonstrate clients that are coming to these mandatory briefings, however I have to use two date fields to represent their attendance since each client has two opportunities to attend one of their mandatory briefings. The fields are:ISSUANCE BRIEFING (1st ATTEMPT)ISSUANCE BRIEFING (2nd ATTEMPT)and there isIB1 Attended <-- Single Select field that is for selecting Attended or not Attended for the first briefingIB2 Attended <-- Single Select field that is for selecting Attended or not Attended for the second briefing. Due to AirTable limitations, I cannot easily show in a bar graph where it has a combination of all people attending each briefing, and can be grouped by attended and not attended and/or distinguish how many people in this meeting are going to their first attempt or second.AirTable forces only one X value. So I am looking for automations

I'm super new to airtable and I've been searching for the answer to this and I can't seem to find what I am looking for- likely because I don't know the right terminology but I have a table in my base and I want the primary field to auto populate each new record with a number and the year the record was created so that if there are multiple years I can filter them easily later.I figure it's some sort of formula because I know how to make the field auto number, but I can't figure out the formula to do it. Thanks in advance Amy 

Hi all,I want to create an automation which creates a new record in Table B (=record B) upon the creation of a record in Table A (= record A).The title of the automatically created record(s) B should be coming from a multi select field in the record A BUT if multiple (n) things are chosen in record A then I want also n records and the titles should contain only one of the selected option.So as an example:I can choose "Red", "Blue" and "Yellow" in record A. The automation then should create 3 records in Table B: One titled "Red" one titled "Blue" one titled "Yellow" and NOT 1 record saying "Red, Blue, Yellow".Is this even possible? 

When I don’t truncate fields in a grid in an Email Digest, the column widths are randomly set, often times wasting a ton of space: Everything auto-fits if I “Truncate text,” but I still want my last column to show all the information — any way to have the auto-fit of truncated but wrap text for rich text fields?

How can I ascertain how large (MB) my base is? Grazie!

Hi there! I want to create two tables that create "matches" based on certain criteria's between the two tables. The one is for houses, the other for people who are looking for a certain house. As soon as a match is found, a signal needs to be send to a third party tool that sends the specific house to a person. The script that sends this signal to the other tool is already in place.Whenever a new profile is created or a new house is created/updated, the matching criteria needs to run (we primarly match on price, m2 and location).My initial thoughts are to run three separate automations based on the create/update triggers with a script that searches through the database.Is this the most effective approach or would there be a smarter way?

Hi there,I have two tables : "Meetings" and "People".Each meeting is of a certain Type (Single Select)Each meeting can contain multiple People. Some People are team members, some are not.I want to create an interface chart to display the total number of meetings per People, aggregated by Type, but only for certain People (team members).Unfortunately, when add as a condition that the displayed Meetings have to contain People that are team members, the graph also shows other People that are part of these meetings, but that are not team members. It makes sense so far.But what I would like to do is to filter the People displayed on the x-axis only. Is there a simple way to do so ?Thank you for your help !Jean

Hi, I don't have much experience with API requests. I am trying to understand how it all works. I am currently using Node-RED (visual Node.js) to process the requests. I'm using my airtable to attached keywords images. I have one big keywords table with multiple categories of different keywords. Then i have multiple linked columns to the different categories. However some of the keywords overlap into different categories.So I thought I could rollup all my linked columns and do something like this:  ARRAYUNIQUE(ARRAYJOIN(ARRAYJOIN({RollUp1}) & IF({RollUp2}, ',' & ARRAYJOIN({RollUp2})) & IF({RollUp3}, ',' & ARRAYJOIN({RollUp3})))) However I still have duplicates of keywords in my final array. Does anyone know how I can join my rollups and then filter out all the duplicates? 

Hi all!Pretty new to this, but I'm trying to write a script similar to Airtable's child-record script. The script should: For parentTable (defined in config), when a record's value in a field (singleSelect defined in config) matches conditions (defined in config), then it should assign this record as parentRecord, and create a link child-record in a childTable (defined in config) and populate this record's primary field with the value from the parentRecord's primary field. I am having some issues with the config, and wondered if anyone knew how to fetch the options of a field specified in input.config.field so it appears as the options in a input.config.select dropdown list. I have an automation set up that loads Google Calendar meeting info into my database, including attendee email addresses. What I want to do is extract the emails of only the people who are not internal employees. That is to say, extract all emails in the “Attendees” field that do not end in “@company.com”. External participants could have any number of email domains and I want to be able to extract any and all email addresses of Google meeting attendees who are not from our own company. i'm wanting to get employee data from Workday such as when a new hire happens, employee terms, or just an update to employee record. I'm using the HR workday connector from Workday and I believe that I configured the connector correctly, but i'm still getting a 500 error. Are there any suggestions to get my connection working?

Hi Everyone,I am sure this is a common question, but I can't seem to find it... When staff join they have a 3 month/6month and 9 month review. They then have their Annual review (which is always 1 year after their 3 month review). They then have a mid term review and an annual review. My question is...Is there a script/formula that takes the last date entry in Person A's row and creates a date that is 6 months after it so I can then run an email automation 2 weeks prior to that date to remind Person A  their review is coming up. In my example below (DATE FORMAT IS EUROPEAN) As you can see Person B has been employed longer so they are further down the chain they have just had their Y2 annual review and so their Y2 mid term would be 6 months from then (ie 22/7/2024).Person A's however is still in Y1 and has just had their mid term so they are due their Annual review on 6/5/2024.So each row will be a different person who will have

Hello, we duplicated one table from a base to a new base and a field that originally contained images got converted into a text field that contains the file name of the pictures and a URL. Is there a way to do duplicate the table without this happening?
