Hi all,I've had some questions from my (project managers in higher ed) team regarding the brand new Date Dependencies feature, which overall is a big help and a good replacement for my previous formula field workaround.When updating predecessor dates to complete earlier than originally expected, dependencies do not shift earlier. Is there a way to make dependent start dates sticky to the predecessor's end date? Our current workaround after updating the task's duration is to delete all task start and end dates and start again with task #1's start date. Similarly, when adding a new task in the middle of a timeline, we've found that adding the task duration and adding predecessor links does not trigger cascading dates unless that task's new end date overlaps with its dependent.We're also interested in support for dependent tasks starting on the parent task's end date rather than the day after -- it doesn't look like this i

Hello AT Community, I am trying to write a formula that returns the number of years and days in between two dates. So for example, assuming {DoB} is 18 FEB 1994, DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),DoB,'years'),"y ") returns 30 which is correct.I would also like to calculate the number of remaining days i.e. between the last full year (18 FEB 2024 and today). The answer should be 14 however this extract from my Airtable formula (MOD(DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),DoB,'days'),365),"d"))) is returning 21.Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please?

Hi all,I have previously used an integration between JotForm and Airtable to populate Airtable with submissions from a JotForm form. The integration was working fine as of last night; however, this morning, I made an edit to the JotForm form and now Airtable is not populating with any new submissions. I tried creating a brand new form and reintegrating the two platforms with a brand new table to see if the issue was specifically with my previous form or table, but the new form submissions aren't showing up in the new table submissions, either.Any guidance here would be appreciated! Hi. I'm struggling with a formula to include a blank attachment field as part of 3 AND conditions. I'm testing this in my base before I put the AND part into a make.com airtable trigger module.At the moment, I have this:  IF( AND( {Ind Doc}!=BLANK(), DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Record Created}, "days" ) >13, DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Record Created}, "days" ) <30), "YES", "NO" ) This works, but ignores the first parameter and returns "YES" even for records that have an attachment in {Ind Doc}(Sorry if syntax for the multi-line formula is incorrect, I'm only just starting to learn to write formulas like this)! 🙂 

Hi,I've got a scenario i'm trying to solve with the interfaces... To give you some background information: i'm working a a project which involves taking care of incoming documents: tag them with info like sender, assign them to the correct project and type of document (bill or letter), amount to pay, etcI created a table called "Document", a table called "Sender" and a table called "Project".The document table has a column "Sender", which refers to the linked table "Sender"The document table also has a column "Project", which refers to the linked table "Project"I created an interface which has a record view on the document table, which filters all "untagged" documents.When you click on a document from the record view... fill in the sender and the project... one should see a list of recent documents that have the same sender and project... in order to detect potential doubles (=same document sent twice). Is

I have a Long Text column in my table with a lot of text, likely 20K plus pages. I used formulas to clean this text, removing undesirable characters, extra spaces, etc.  Is there any way to copy the contents of the Formula column back to the Long Text column, so that the Long Text column will ahve clean but editable data for future use? While I can copy and past some smaller data sets, when I tried to copy and paste this column, I get a 'too large' error.

I have a base for many social accounts. I created a column in the base for emails. Records will have multiple email addresses (that I want to put inside the field for a record thats being created) for the main email providers - Google, Yahoo, Outlook, Webmail. Is there a way have many fields inside the cell labeled with the email providers (label1: Google label2: Yahoo, etc.) that I can input the email address for the record? The only way I see how to do this is to use the long text field type and just type everything in it. Please see snaapshot.

I have a table from the Strategic Planning base I am synching to a table in the Marketing base.I created an automation to create a record in the Requests table of the Marketing base when a record in the synched table contains certain data.  This is working brilliantly.However, if someone changes a field in the Strategic Planning base (i.e. due date) base, and the date is updated on the synched table in the Marketing base, I want the data to update on the Requests table too.  I cannot seem to configure the update record automation correctly.Help!!!

I’m starting to learn to use iOS shortcuts and watched a couple of YouTube tutorials and I’m trying to run a basic post function but this error shows up: {“error”:{“type”:“INVALID_REQUEST_UNKNOWN”,“message”:“Invalid request: parameter validation failed. Check your request data.”}} I created a blank document and just wanted to input a new field data. I copied the URL from de Airtable API and also I copy the API key. This is how I typed the ‘code’: I’ll appreciate any help with this simple starter use of integration with iOS shortcuts.

Hello!I'm trying to automate my email workflow using Airtable, but I'm encountering a limitation as I use AWS Workmail for my email service. Currently, it appears Airtable only offers built-in integrations with Gmail and Outlook.Is it possible to connect Airtable to AWS Workmail using the IMAP protocol, similar to how it integrates with Microsoft Exchange? This would allow me to automate emails directly from Airtable.I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or workarounds you could offer to establish this connection between Airtable and AWS Workmail.Thank you for your time and assistance.

We have a rather large table that needs to be updated/inserted with a datefield value from another table. This needs to be done only once.Table 1 is about 30K records.Table 2 is about 120 records.Table 1 (that needs to be updated) is linked to Table 2. I'm pretty sure there is a rather simple solution to this conundrum but I can't figure it out.

Hi, I was wondering if airtable offers securing a particular table in a base using a password. I want to use the table to store tokens and hence want it to have restricted access.  Any other suggestions on how tokens of third party services like Box can be secured safely in airtable?  ThanksChandrika

I’m trying to create a SWITCH formula checking for specific text within a field. For instance, if there is a field with a bunch of random numbers and then a name, I want to check for the name in that field, not match the entirety of the text in the field.

I am trying to make a graph that will demonstrate clients that are coming to these mandatory briefings, however I have to use two date fields to represent their attendance since each client has two opportunities to attend one of their mandatory briefings. The fields are:ISSUANCE BRIEFING (1st ATTEMPT)ISSUANCE BRIEFING (2nd ATTEMPT)and there isIB1 Attended <-- Single Select field that is for selecting Attended or not Attended for the first briefingIB2 Attended <-- Single Select field that is for selecting Attended or not Attended for the second briefing. Due to AirTable limitations, I cannot easily show in a bar graph where it has a combination of all people attending each briefing, and can be grouped by attended and not attended and/or distinguish how many people in this meeting are going to their first attempt or second.AirTable forces only one X value. So I am looking for automations

I'm super new to airtable and I've been searching for the answer to this and I can't seem to find what I am looking for- likely because I don't know the right terminology but I have a table in my base and I want the primary field to auto populate each new record with a number and the year the record was created so that if there are multiple years I can filter them easily later.I figure it's some sort of formula because I know how to make the field auto number, but I can't figure out the formula to do it. Thanks in advance Amy 

Hi all,I want to create an automation which creates a new record in Table B (=record B) upon the creation of a record in Table A (= record A).The title of the automatically created record(s) B should be coming from a multi select field in the record A BUT if multiple (n) things are chosen in record A then I want also n records and the titles should contain only one of the selected option.So as an example:I can choose "Red", "Blue" and "Yellow" in record A. The automation then should create 3 records in Table B: One titled "Red" one titled "Blue" one titled "Yellow" and NOT 1 record saying "Red, Blue, Yellow".Is this even possible? 

When I don’t truncate fields in a grid in an Email Digest, the column widths are randomly set, often times wasting a ton of space: Everything auto-fits if I “Truncate text,” but I still want my last column to show all the information — any way to have the auto-fit of truncated but wrap text for rich text fields?

How can I ascertain how large (MB) my base is? Grazie!
