Hello,I am assessing Airtable as a method to store data that will be used to control a contact centre system.This system will use REST API calls to retrieve data in JSON format.This works ok but I am a bit confused about the Checkbox record type, which seems to be a boolean type, does not act as such for API queries.If the Checkbox is ticked the JSON response contains the filed name and a value of true. If the Checkbox is not ticked the JSON response does not contain the field name. My expectation would be that the JSON response should contain the field name and a value of false.Not having this will cause the parsing of the JSON response to be more complex than I would like. I will have to code for the key:value pair being missing rather than a simple true/false situation.Is there any reason for this working the way it does? How have others coped with this design quirk?

We are an Enterprise user and heavily dependent on Airtable Automations working.On Monday, Airtable automations had an unreported outage and performance issue spanning over 12 hours that went unreported on status.airtable.com.Support made us aware of a fix after 12 hours.Now, 2 days later, automations are now failing again and pending.This is unacceptable to Enterprise users and we expect issues like this to be resolved within an hour at the latest.  This is a commercial solution, and our entire business operation is at a standstill due to this.We have used only 20% of our automation runs budget allocation, and these performance issues are unacceptable.

I am trying to send emails using the Gmail automation. The field I am using to route to the "To" field in the automation is an email field. The problem is, some of the emails were inputted with a space before or after them, which I suspect is preventing deliverability.I tried using a formula field to trim the email field, but I route the formula field to the "To" field in the Gmail automation, it shows up blank as though there is no text in the formula field.What is the best way to eliminate spaces in a field you intend to use in the Gmail automation's "To" field?

For the last couple of weeks, we've been running into an issue when attempting to scroll down stacks in Kanban views.  The view will not scroll when using the mouse scroll wheel or when clicking the scrollbar.  It happens at random times, too, with no noticeable pattern.This is happening with multiple users and multiple Kanban views so it doesn't appear to be an isolated issue.On a related note — at the same time that this issue started, we also noticed another issue where it takes much longer to scroll down stacks that are of considerable length (i.e. hundreds of records).  This was never an issue up until a couple of weeks ago.Is this a known bug that is being fixed?

I have made a stock taking system in airtable. And I have a whole list of items with current stock values. I would like to the end of every financial quarter take a snap shop of the current stock value. Is this possible?I've tried to play around with scheduled time trigger and the repeating group action, but I don't seem to be able to find a way to tally this up. Is there a good way to do this?

Hello, I just started with Airtable, and to be able to use it, I need solve this problem. I am having a database of volunteers on a national level. I would like to make them write their post number when they apply, and in the base allocate a decided municipality and local chapter. This information we gather from a Typeform. I have matched the options in my Typeform and Base/Field as a single choice. It works well until den, but how to make it work in Airtable is the next step. This is not in the US. There are around 5000 post numbers that are going to be distribute in 15 "municipalities". Some chapters allocate more than one municipality.Is the single choice the best one for this purpose? Would an IF formula work?What is the most effective way to do this with that amount of data? 

Hi everyone,I'm looking to create a use case catalog to help me define the functional requirements of my clients, such as data and system integration.The catalog should include a unique identifier for each use case category and allow me to choose which categories to include in a report and which to exclude, depending on the client's needs.The ultimate goal is to create an environment for the client to experiment with the use cases and required functionality without exposing them to the full repository of use cases and their categories.The goal is to eventually generate summary insights through a dashboard/summary table that shows the use cases by data or integration slices.Has anyone come across a solution like this? Hi there - I've set up a table that I want to use to 'score' certain projects by quarter. I.e. at the end of Q1, Project 1 received a 50 score, Project 2 received an 80 score, Project 3 received a 100 score, so on and so forth. Currently in my table, the projects are separate records, and I have four columns - Latest Score, Q1 Score, Q2 Score, Q3 Score, and Q4 Score. They are all number fields. I've inserted a photo below.Is there a formula that would enable the Latest Score field to automatically reflect the current quarter we were in without me having to update it manually? Thank you!

Hi all, I am using Airtables to set up my cost database for my cafe.For each dish, the items can come from 2 sources. 1 -  A raw material table - i.e. chicken, eggs, which i have already listed it's unit cost. 2 - From a Prep material - i.e. like pasta sauce which we make in house. This table, I've already calculated the cost per portion for each item (making reference to items in table 1) Now to build a recipe, I need to pick items from both table 1 & table 2.   I am not sure if this is possible to have a selection field that reads from 2 table.  or I need another way around it? Thanks!

Hello,My team and I have many due dates scattered around as we are show managers.I recently built in a formula based off of weeks out from show time that the item needs to be completed, and how long it takes to complete it to in order to find out when we need to start the task.I'm currently trying to send a weekly Monday email at 8am that sends to each assignee informing them on the upcoming start task dates coming up within the next week but have run into an array of issues and I don't know which angle to take it on.Is it possible to automate this or is this too many fields? Specifically, I want to generate a single row for each unique ID, where all the text from the 5th field is concatenated into a single cell. Hi, I wonder about how to setup my base for the following?I have a simple Table with a series of records, and each record has a 'SPECIFICATION' field (basically a "YES" / "NO") indicating if we have the spec. for this item:I would just like to somehow summarize if *ANY* of the records there have a "NO" in them? I don't need a count or anything like that, just a flag or note or something to say if ANY items are incomplete? Is this possible somehow? I have a list of elements in a single table I want to be able to demonstrate many-to-many relationships between them. I created a linked record to select elements, but it doesn't update in the record for the selected elements. How do I get it to appear in both places?In the screenshot below, when I link "Element A" to "Element B" and "Element C", I want "Element A" to populate in "Element B" and "Element C" records too.But "Element C" also needs to link to "Element A" and "Element D" and "Element D" needs to link to "Element E".How do I set up this kind of relationship within a single table? 

This is Conditional Logic that is very simple, one of the conditions is the "has any of" and that is selected from the single select field as  "CTC" and then it just fails and shows the result from that field as [object Object}. What is causing this? See attached screen shot.

I guess this related to an integration, but it's not an integration-specific question. We have records that typically accompany a unique number. Sometimes, we will have a record that doesn't have a number. To identify them as records where we've thoughtfully considered them to be records associated with no number, we want to use 0000 as the default, where a single 0 might mean we just forgot to enter the appropriate number. I'm using a Number field currently -- and I think the field needs to be a number field for the integration. Is there a way to get a Number field to display 0000 instead of 0? 

I have a synced table which I would like to not sync anymore, but I want to keep all the data currently in it.  I know I can just duplicate it, but that would mean I lose my interfaces and automations.  Anyone know if there's any easy way to turn a synced table into just a regular table?

Hello,So I am trying to make a column where if a user updates their date of birth it will change their date of birth in a different table. The issue I am running into is that when I change the date of birth for any user it just changes the date of birth of the first person's date of birth in the second table.How do I make it so that if a user puts in their date of birth it will change onto the other table on the line specific to where their name is?

Hi everyone, I’m a big fan of Airtable, but its lack of a spelling/grammar checker is causing me some grief. Grammarly (Chrome extension) would seem to be the perfect answer. However, it doesn’t work. At all. This is weird because it works well on other sites with text input fields - including, incidentally this community site (I can see Grammarly flagging errors in this as I type :slightly_smiling_face: ). Does anyone know a way of getting Grammarly to work on Airtable Grid view fields or indeed another solution? Thanks!

Hi all,I am using a Matix extension.  How would a user search for a value in the matrix?Using Control F only shows (and highlights) matching values that are visible on the screen (even if the value exists, but not visible on screen).Any ideas?  I recall a chrome extension that may help but have to search.Thanks,Paul

Hi all,I see in the API documentation that there's an endpoint which can provide information about an interface (aka page bundle, aka section).But in order to use it, I need the interface ID, and I don't know how to list the interfaces. I know that as an Enterprise admin, I can visit https://airtable.com/admin/[enterpriseId]/interfaces and search or download a CSV, but as you can imagine all that proves is that there is an actual API endpoint, I'm just not sure how to access it 🙂 Making it even more frustrating, the interface IDs aren't even available in the URL when you're browsing the interface, as far as I can tell.Does anyone know if I'm missing something and there'

When sharing the interface and a user requests access, the email with the access request link is not being delivered. The user is not receiving the email containing the necessary link for their access request. Could you please look into this issue and assist in resolving it? Swift resolution is essential for our workflow.
