Scenario:As a club manager, I need to organize recurring and one-off events with different ticket types. My goal is to use Airtable to input event details, including frequencies, ticket types, and relevant information. To simplify planning and coordination, I want to visualize these events in a calendar view within Airtable.Problem to Solve:How can I efficiently set up Airtable to manage both recurring and one-off events with various ticket types and present them effectively in a user-friendly calendar view? I'm looking for advice on structuring the base, utilizing fields, and best practices to achieve a clear and organized calendar display of upcoming events. I am very new to airtable and just learning. I am building a base for a company that delivers pet food (B2C). and each record in the base is a client with some specific info like (the date of the first scheduled delivery, the day of the week that deliveries should be made and also if he should have a delivery made every week, every 2 weeks etc. I would like to build a calendar in which I could look any given day and know all the clients I should be delivering that day. Any help helps  I am stuck in how to build the calendar part using the client's info, how to automatically set all the future delivery dates based on the client's info.

I am using a date field to gather reservations. I need to exclude or block the weekends from choice. Anyone know how I can do this?

Hello, hope you are good!I've created an Interface view that i'd like to share to others without granting them the access to the entire base.Right now i just found this  I'm using the free plan, does it mean that the only way i can share my Interface to someone (maybe just by using a link) withouth giving them the access to the base, is with a Team subscription? I think i shared Interfaces in the past, or at least i'm quite sure Anyone faced the same problem?

Can someone help me figure out why the ‘else’ part of my IF statement isn’t working? I'm trying to create a friendly date/time/timezone field IF a certain date field is not blank. That part is working. But if the date field is blank, I want it to put “N/A” in the new field. That part is returning an error. Here is my formula.IF( {REQUESTED GO LIVE DATE} !=BLANK(),  DATETIME_FORMAT({REQUESTED GO LIVE DATE}, 'M/D/YY')

The Problem I'm HavingThe below image will probably tell it best. I have a chart that appears to have duplicate x-asis labeling. Ideally, this data would have a single value per month, but it is duplicating upto 5 times for a given month. What I've DoneI suspect this may be a UI issue because when I scale my Chrome browser to 150x, I get a single x-axis value.This solution doesnt work for me because I have multiple stakeholders who view this data, and explaining to them to fine tune their monitor until theyu get their desired row count just wouldnt work. My QuestionBesides adjusting the zoom ratio of my screen, are there any other solutions you can suggest?

I've read a couple of posts where a solution was provided regarding inserting a logo into a gmail automation and I tried to follow it a few times, with zero success.It's not explained simply to a non-tech person, hence the back-and-forth correspondence between the 'solution provider' and others who were attempting to follow their process.Is there anyone who can explain this to a non-tech person? I have my 'Images' table with attachments field and attachment url field with formulaIF(Attachments, REGEX_EXTRACT(Attachments, "(?:[^(]*\\()([^)]*)")) I also have 1 tag structure and when I enter this into the gmail automation template, nothing comes up. The processseems simple and it's not working. What am I missing?  

I am looking for the best way to query a record from a table and to mark it as Assigned and avoid a different thread of the same automation from picking that row -- something like a select-for-update or distributed locking. In the example below, I don't want 2 simultaneous runs of the automation to pickup gtin3.From what I can find there is no native support for something like this. The best way I can think of is to read an unassigned record and in the next step of the automation to update it as assigned before doing other steps. And later revert it back if the subsequent steps runs into failures. Looking to learn how others might have worked around this.The automation is run in Make.com 

 I have created a base in airtable. I have a multiselect column called "Attendees". One of the options in this column is "Product". I am currently trying to create a calendar view in airtable that is specific to the Product team. To do so, I have created a filter that says "Where "Attendees" has any of "Product"". However the records that have Product tagged do not appear on the calendar. How do I get the records tagged with "Product" under the multiselect column "Attendees" to appear on the calendar? I do not have the option to choose "contains" when I set up the filter. 

Hi, is there a way to make the row height larger than the default using the mobile app? I have my row height set to x-large on Desktop so I can see the pictures that are attached to my rows; is there a way to adjust that setting on the iPhone app?

Hello everyone,I have a question regarding the multiple/single select fields.I've built a database for our team and we recently started using it. The only hiccup I encountered is with Multiple select fields: what I would like to have is a restriction for editors so that they would not be able to create new options within a multiple/single select field. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way of doing it, and as for now, all the editors are able to create new options. This leads to the creation of new options if someone, by mistake, presses enter after having typed a non-existing voice.Would you know how we can avoid that?Thank you very much in advance

We currently create one Airtable record for each session to set different dates for them. Each session (record) immediately receives a confirmation email (triggered through Zapier) once we change the status to 'Confirmed'. Sessions are linked to a Company.One issue with this is that clients often book multiple sessions at once, so upon confirming them in Airtable they will receive multiple confirmation emails that are almost identical (only the date/time changes). Hi,Someone shared an Air Table Interface with me and made me the editor.  When I accept the invite and logon with google on a PC, I'm able to see the interface and access it.  However, when i'm on my android phone and try to access it via the Android app, nothing is displaying.  The Recent tab has a message "No Recently open apps", and when I selected the "Starred" tab, it also said "Nothing Starred yet".  Try to browse, nothing is displayed.  The notification on the app does show a message that someone is sharing the interface with us, but nothing happened after we  click on the notification as well.Any ideas?ThanksDat

I am a bit confused. This might not be complicated. I have two ppl submitting a form and I want to be able merge some of the data. How would I do that? Can I use an automation to update one of the records? But then, how do I match the two entries so it knows what to merge?

I am looking to find a formula that takes you right to the Interface from the source table, with the record expanded on the right side inside the Interface and also specific to what ever is pre-selected on the "Drop Down" option. we currently use Google in order to sign on to our airtable. the company is migrating to Office 365 mail boxes. once we have finished migration to office 365, we cannot keep using the google sign in option…but, we can login regularly. question is, do we keep all the data of airtable in the new account? or is it all gone ? :frowning:

Let me break down my set up.Table: Project Tracker - contains all over all project information. Linked to Hours TrackerTable: Hours Tracker - where coordinators input the daily hourly information by the project they are working on. Projects can be worked on from anywhere from .5hrs to 8hrs and people can work on multiple projects a day. Hello, I have an automation that is being run when a webhook is received. I have noticed that the automation is being run multiple times for some records; it does not run multiple times for every webhook. I cannot manually recreate this issue. When I manually send a record, it works as intended. I have reviewed the logs of the booking service sending the webhook, and only a single webhook is being sent each time. But, when I review the automation history, every once in a while it is running 5 times. Hi,I've tried using automations to "find records" but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have a platform where we assign people from our "Staff Directory" to different stations of an event. I want to have a linked field that adds anyone assigned to a station to a general "Staff Assigned" field that I can pull e-mails from (already have that part setup). How can I have "Staff Assigned" update as each field is updated? Is there another or better way to do this?  

I have a formula that pulls text from another field. That field is a link to another table. Airtable is creating quotation marks around the text if the text contains any punctuation marks. Is there a way of stopping this??

When inserting a Date field in an Email Action, the Date and Time format I’ve set within the table does not get used. Instead, I get the default formatting, something like: 2020-06-07T01:00:00.000Z. I’d like the date and time to be outputted in a more readable format in emails, something like 6/7/2020 at 1:00am.

Hi,I have a table which is sort of a Bill Of Materials containing the all the required parts to assemble a single product, including the required quantity of each part. It's basically looks like:|Product|Part|QuantityRequired|There is another Parts table containing the cost of each part.I'm trying to calculate the total cost for each part in a single field. So far I was able to do it through two fields, one is lookup for the cost of the part and another field with formula {qty}*{cost from lookup field}My question is can this be done directly in a single formula field, without needing the extra aux lookup field to fetch the price of a single part? Feels a bit redundant and was wondering if there's a way to fetch that lookup directly through the formula. (The final calculation of of the product's cost is done in the Products table through a sum rollup on said result)Thanks.
