I'm using the highly useful Prefilled Forms extension by Kuovonne and it works as intended. However, there are some fields in my source table that apparently aren't qualified to be prefilled on the form and I can't figure out the principle. (The form itself is in the Assets Updates table.)The Assets table contains the prefill form URL in a field called Update Asset. It works fine but does not include a field called Asset Type that I want prefilled on the form. This field is not included in the list of possible fields to use when filling out the wizard for Prefilled Forms.Asset Type is a linked field to a third table called Types. In this screenshot you can see that I've reduntantly added two additional fields that contain the value from Asset Type, thinking there was something about Linked records that was a problem:But I can't use any of these fields

I built some scripts a while back using the airtable python API wrapper.  I was able to create new records in a table with linked fields using only the string value of the linked record. This was very helpful since I could upload records to 'Orders,' for example, and Airtable would accept a string, for example a Product SKU, to designate which Product to link to.Since updating to the more recent pyairtable wrapper, I'm not able to do this anymore.  I need to know the record ID of any record I want to include in a linked field.  This means extra steps.  Is there a way to use strings instead of 'array of record ids' as the value for linked fields?

If I have 5 blank rows, then values 5, 10, 15, and I sort by that column, those blank rows show at the top and I would like them to show at the bottom but the 5, 10 and 15 still sorted showing at the top. Is this possible?

Hello allI am trying to copy/paste a line from an HTML table into airtable. The table has several columns which are delimited by tabs (unicode 0009).Nothing unusual so far...I created a form so I could paste in the line into that maps onto a single field. When you do this it retains the tabs in the string...BUT...I am struggling to find a way of sanitising this data and splitting out the columns.Yes, you can paste directly into the table field and split it out that way. I don't want this, I want to be able to paste the string/line directly into a form.Using "\t" in formulas doesn't work.With Windows 11 and pasting from Chrome, CTRL+SHIFT+V does not strip out any tabs (it's for formatting only)So how else can I strip out these pesky tabs?

Good morning,Following research to develop an existing project, I decided to try to stay on Airtable for my backend and I must therefore take into account the new standards that you will apply by February 2024. Indeed, I 'uses the plugin on my gatsby site, "gatsby-plugin-airtable", with a version of Gatsby V4.25.7 and this will be a first for me to make use of Token or OAuth system. Unfortunately, I have "little" information regarding the integration of this possible data via this plugin. For now, my API keys are stored in an .env file and imported via the dotenv package into my gatsby-config.js.So I have 2 main questions:1 should I favor the Personal access tokens API or OAuth integration?2 If using the Personal access tokens API is preferable, or easier to set up, should I simply change my API key to the value of the Token

Hi everyone,It appears that I cannot use the "Find records" action with a condition on a date field "is within" "this calendar month".It is fine if I choose any other "is within", such as "the past month". But it won't work if i choose "this calendar week", "this calendar month" or "this calendar year".The error is not clear, it simply states "A condition is incomplete or invalid".What am I missing? 🤪See attached screenshots:

Can anyone suggest a form builder/no-code solution that integrates with Airtable and supports the following features: Dynamic, dependent dropdown lists based on Airtable linked records; Dynamic transactions in stripe or some other payment integration using user input form field values a well as values pulled from Airtable?; and lastly Pre-filling of a filter field (i.e. the control field needed for point 1.) Hello. I have a form in one table called "Creative Requests" that has a column to assign it to a project once the form is submitted. In a separate table called tasks, I have a list of what everyone is responsible for. The tasks in the form responses aren't pulling into the tasks even when they're under a project. I am thinking it's because the fields aren't the same, but is there any workaround for this or any suggestions of how to get these tasks all in one location without moving the forms to the same table as tasks? 

I'm trying to adjust the column width in an digest email but the truncate fields doesn't change the layout and I'd like the columns to be spread out more. Is there any way to set this? Even adjusting the view I'm pulling from doesn't change anything.

I am new here.How to link the following text with a URL of the corresponding record when sending html email using sendgrid.<a href="{SM}">link text</a>The above outputs blank, where as just {SM} output the url. I don't know how to hyperlink it to that text. Thank you!--I would also like to know if there is a possibility to have a button on each record when clicked the email for that record is sent to the person on the record. I have an html email that variables from that record will be used in that email. Right now, I am doing the sendgrid extension to send emails to all records in a view with a filter. Thank you!

Hello All,I have looked around the discussion boards for an answer with no luck. I have a formula as follows:REPT("|",{Line Count}) When I use this, it just gives me an #ERROR! as the entry in the field. Entries with a zero in "Line Count" are blank. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. "Line Count" is just the result of number (from another field) being divided by 10,000. Is it an issue that it is a formula field? Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi All I am in early stages of learning formula functions, and focusing on date based formulas. One thing I have noticed is that dates created from formula calculations to not seem to work with the Timeline block. Has anyone found a way to make this work? Trying to get 'Full Name', 'Organization' in my primary field. My problem is that sometimes both 'Full Name' and 'Organization' are filled in, and sometimes it's only one or the other. I tried using the following formula, and it worked when one or the other is filled in, but when both are filled in, it doesn't add the comma and space. My data schema is such that I have Programs which contain projects, each has its own table. My team and I received an email from airtable that a third party integration access to our Airtable account has been revoked due to security concerns around refresh token usage. We also happen to be the developers of the 3rd party integration.We currently refresh tokens every 30 minutes to ensure they do not expire.Can anyone provide insight into any security issues regarding how we are refreshing tokens? We can re-authorize it and have it work but it will only be a matter of time before it gets revoked again.

Dear AllI am trying to automate "master project status" in the base, hopefully through creating a formula. "Master project" is a made of all small "projects". When I click 'activate options' no options are showing. I've double checked that activate options isn't already ticked on any other orders. It's been working fine, so not sure why it is suddenly not working. It's not working on multiple devices, and I have logged out and back in with no luck.Any ideas??

When visiting developer documentation on Extension components, I cannot see the preview of this component in action. A while ago, I remember that preview was working correctly.   Is Airtable support aware about that? Any info when it gets fixed? Hey guys!I am trying to move a base I created to a new workspace I created. We have Enterprise, I am set as an ADMIN, but am not the owner of the base that I made to original base on. Does anyone know if there's a setting somewhere I can change so I can move it or do I need to get the owner to move it?Thanks! 

I have table descriptions that I want to edit. I am able to use the arrows to move around within the description section (including cmd+A on mac to highlight everything) but if I want to get to a specific area by clicking, the box stops responding (and I can no longer use the arrows to move around). I need to close and reopen to be able to use the arrows. Is this the way it is supposed to function? Clicking makes more sense and would be more helpful.

Hello everyone. I intend to connect interviews (synced to Airtable from a Google Calendar account) to different records, each one of which represent a single deliverable. The constraint that I face is that if I connect more than one interview to the same deliverable, only the first one appears in the Calendar View of the same table. Hello,I'm working on an automation that, when triggered by a new record being created, runs a script. The script should take that record, parse a comma-delimited list, then create new records in a separate table. The new records are include the unique names, the count of each unique name, and a link back to the original record. I mostly have this sorted now thanks to some awesome older forum posts, but I'm having trouble understanding how to write new records.The error I'm getting is on the last line of code where the records are being created: Error: Field "fldjndAnd48IHziyd" cannot accept the provided value.I believe the issue is with how I'm assigning the records.
