I can’t seem to get <RecordCard />s to play nicely as flexbox child or reliably fit 100% width of its container. The default width of a record card is set to 568px wide, which wouldn’t be much of an issue if this were taken care of in the class applied to record cards. Instead, the width (and height) are set with inline styling. Since the width default property won’t take “100%” or “auto” as valid inputs, I can’t use either of those. Setting width to {-1} kind of works by removing the inline styling and getting it to fill its container, but all the record’s fields disappear: I could apply a class with width set to “auto!important” to override the inline styling, but “!important” is not generally good practice. Anyone have some advice?

Hello, I’m building a database for work and it works pretty well. I’ve just one small problem with linking field on 2 tables in a one-to-many way. I’m linking 1 record from table1 to many records on table2. Works great. On table 2, I desactivated the multirecord link so I can only link 1 record form table1. Great again. The problem is that from table 1 I can make another record which link to the same record on table 2. So when I look in my second table, in my “single record link field” I still end up with 2 differents records from table1 ! So what I would need is to be able to link multiple records from table1 to table2 but without being able to record 2 time the same one. Any idea ? Thanks you for this wonderfull tool ! Nicolas

It seems this may not be a robust as I’d hoped. I have set up project and task tables. I would like many tasks to one project. I went to tasks table, created link to projects with “allow linking to multiple records” disabled. This works great for assigning a task to a project. If I now go to the projects table I can still assign an already assigned task to a different project and this then carries back through to ‘pollute’ the task can only be assigned to one project constraint I set up. Seems the many to one is not truly in the database but just in the selection phase of the app. Worst case I could hide the link field in the Projects table and replace it with a lookup showing the same thing - this will force users to initate the link in the tasks table where the front end entry is enforcing the one-to-many while still allowing view of tasks. Is this just a limitation or is there a way I can work around this?

Hello!I am just starting out with AirTable and I am trying to create an automation that when an item is moved to the status "Backorder" (this should happen when the field "B/O Qty" is greater than 0) in my "Open Orders" project, it is then duplicated into another project called "Backorder Clip". Once the order status is not "Backorder" anymore (or the B/O Qty goes to 0), it should be deleted from the "Backorder Clip" project and moved to the "Not Started" status in my "Open Orders" project. I can't seem to figure out exactly how to achieve this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Each athlete is assigned a unique score based on their performance in various exercises, and this score is then used to sort the athletes in Airtable.I have connected it already with tables in Softr and sorting based on that score gives me the result I wanted, but I would like also to display what's their position: 1st, 2nd … etc.Do you have any how to write a formula which will give me thei exact position on the leaderboard?Best regards,Konrad

Hi All,I am trying to restrict which people can be chosen from a dropdown list of people for a user signin/out system. The way the system is designed is such that each group leader can view everyone in their group and none of the other users in the system. A medic can view everyone with limited information and an organizer can view all information for all people.I have created a signin/out table to allow each user to sign in a person, however when selecting a person from the drop down list they are able to see all people, not just the people in their group. Is it possible to restrict which users they are able to select from to be limited to their group. An example can be seen belowI would like to make it so that the user can only see the entries shown below, limited to their group

Automation set up was.Step 1: When a record matches a condition.Step 2: It will update a field which is the "Client Portfolio Record" (this is a linked to another record field to a view called Client Portfolio)This automation was just working fine before, but there was a change happened on the default column in "Client Portfolio view" which caused the issue. If you suggest putting it back to the normal setup, I can't because the default column in "Client Portfolio View" which is the "Portfolio Title" should be in formula type now. It should also remain as default column.  Is there any way to update this automation even if the Portfolio Title is still a computed field?

Hi,I'm getting this error when trying to append to a linked field. The code in question is: ModelRange.updateRecordAsync(record, {'Models List': [...record.getCellValue('Models List'),{id : BMRecord[0]}]}); I'm pretty sure that 'record' is indeed a record object, as it's obtained from  let query = await ModelRange.selectRecordsAsync(); let record = query.getRecord(another[0]); where another[0] is a record ID. Let me know if the rest of my code is needed to diagnose the error, although I can imagine that I'm missing something obvious.Thank you!

I am building a schedule/time management base where employees can show their interests for shifts by adding their names to a (multiple select) shift calendar. Employees are unionized and have to be prioritized by the lowest monthly hours given and seniority order. The issue i have is the names are sorted by whom added their names first to the shift interest multiple select column. How can this box by sorted by 'lowest hours, seniority' instead.... OR could i get airtable to suggest the right employee from the list of avaiable employees on a shift?

I have a formula field that calculates a value (results a number) based on a lookup field (e.g. a date). When the lookup field is empty due to a missing input, formula field results with a NaN or ERROR.In that case, I want to highlight RED color to that record so operators understand that they should fix the missing input. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to enter a color condition statement such as "WHEN formula field IS ERROR, SET COLOR red".Is there a solution for this? @dashler78 

We have connected our event registration from Wordpress to an Airtable table through Zapier and it was working for a while until it started glitching.. After a while we only started seeing part of the registrants, while the other part is not showing in the table, although we see it in Wordpress. We tested it out and got this screenshot.. The test go through as not an issue while this keeps appearing and we keep getting notification emails that something went wrong. Thanks everyone

Designing a Form in which I need a user to be able to select an Item from dropdown menu representing a Linked Record field, and then be shown what that Item looks like via Lookup of an Attachment field in the linked table, I’m shown an alert: “This field is read-only and won’t be displayed in the form”. The use case is straightforward though, and high-value: Forms that can allow user to see what to vote for. It’s available in rival products. When can I expect it in Airtable Forms?

I have a button that I would like to trigger two tasks: 1 - trigger a webhook that passed the data to zapier (done) 2 - automatically update the value of a single select field to ‘true’ While the webhook script runs when I click the button, it seems that the other script I am using (to update the single-select) wants to take in a user input every time and it does not run automatically. Is there a simple way to set the value of a single-select field automatically to true without me having to specific the field and the value every time with a script?

Is there any plan to encourage developers to build more apps and write more scripts to marketplace? From the conversation I saw in the forum, getting your apps approved is so difficult and long. I feel Airtable now lacks vibrancy and enthusiasm of other tools (monday.com or coda.io).

Hello, I am seeking to pull a record that would have an image and then a few fields under the image from the same record and then repeat for all records in a filter. The custom text and layout fields of the page designer as well as being able to export make it quite desirable for this but I’m having issues getting the records to populate in this manner. The gallery view provides most of what I need as it gives me multiple records (of which I can filter by field) but the limitations on styling keep it from being an answer to my issue. The screen shot is of a gallery view, the first image/ record is laid out in the manner I’m seeking, and the second is the gallery view unchanged. Any assistance would be great.

Hi 👋 I'm not an expert with formulas, but I think I'm overthinking this / making it more complicated than it needs to be.I have a CSAT (customer satisfaction score) form in Typeform that is being automatically sent to Airtable. What I'm trying to do is:a) calculate the CSAT score (# of 4/5 star ratings, divided by # of total responses, multiplied by 100)b) have it calculated every calendar week (so there should be a new rating every Monday)I can do this manually for now, but I want a way that each week, people can look and see what the score is, without anyone having to manually calculate it.I'm totally lost, although I think I am overthinking this. Hi, Am I missing this option, or do I need to submit a feature request? I have a Table called Statuses, which I use on multiple tables and multiple fields so that I don’t have to setup a single select 20+ times. When I make a new record, any fields linked to Statuses should default to “0-Not Started” record form Statuses. Is there an option I am missing to set the default linked field?

I am trying to create an automation that sends an email or a slack notification when a record matches conditions when X is one month from now. However, I received the following message. To answer some of the questions in that original post: I understand this is not a cure-all security method, it does provide one more layer of protection. Hello,Want to strike through text in a cell if a given string is found in another cell in that row.  Is this possible?The cell whose text I want to strike through is already a concatenation of various other field values.  It's looking in a different field for the term "OMIT", and if that is found I'd like the text strike-through'd.The "OMIT" will be searched for in a single select field, but I don't think that matters since I've already successfully searched for and IF'd stuff based on single select text contents.TIA for any assistance.
