It is not about Formulas, but Form was not an option for a label.I need to put a form, where I let people to pick a product. I want to create a dropdown menu to select product. After submitting I need to remove that product from options. So there is only one product for each who submitted. Plus ! Because it is obvious ! When they change their mind I advice them to file new form with remaining choices and just remove their first form entry.But cant avoid the manula data editing upon request so each time a new form si filed it takes the actual data from the sheet in airtable options.Please can you help me with that? 

Hi All, Wanted to ask for help on how I can approach this. I have 4 coulmns (A, B, C, D) - I want to check which columns are not empty. Example, A has a value (Apple), B, C are empty, D has a value(Orange) I have another column called Summary. I want to display columns that have value. In the example, I would like to display Apple, Orange. Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

I am attempting to find a formula that will create a continual weekly release date when I create a new topic for a podcast.  For example, if I were to have a release today and I were to open a new row, it would automatically populate a week from now in the date, so on and so forth.

I have been using Airtable for a little while and can get the basics of what I need.  However, I'm now getting much more complex with multiple bases linked together and I'm having a hard time figuring out the best way to link my tables together.   In a perfect world I will have a table called Customers which has the name of each customer as the primary field.     What are best practices for keeping this up to date?  If I add a new record (customer) to Customers table, how do I ensure that it will add that customer to all the linked tables?  Do I use a formula for the primary key in additional tables and then an automation that runs a script once a day to sync?  It seems like there has to be another way.  Any help is appreciated!

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a database in Airtable where I need to automatically generate a random number from a specific list of numbers for each new entry in my table named "Article". The list of possible numbers is as follows: [1448, 800, 140, 105, 106]. I want each time a new record is created, one of these numbers is randomly selected and inserted into a column named "Nombre".I tried using built-in formulas in Airtable, but they don't seem to work as I wish. I also tried writing a script in Airtable's Scripting app, but I haven't been able to get the desired behavior.I wonder if anyone has encountered a similar issue or if anyone knows how I could achieve this, either with formulas or with a script.

Hello, I'm not sure which category this would fall under. I'm working on generating an automated report based on our data. I don't want it to be too long, so under one filtered category, I only want the report to pull information tied to a checked-off box that was only checked off in the last 7-14 days. (I'd like to be able to change the date as needed) The checkboxes live in our subtasks field and are rich text. Is there a way to sort when these boxes where checked based on date? For example, in the screenshot below, I only want to pull the checked boxes with green, not the ones with red: Is this possible? Thanks a bunch! Thank you,Lindsay 

I would like to use airtable Forms to track Requests for Interpretation with my Architect. Here’s what I’m struggling with… I want to fill out each RFI with the information I’m requesting comments on. Each form will be a different request. Once I’ve filled out the Question, I want to share the form for the Architect’s Response. I only see ways to share the same blank form every time.

I have developed an interface and published to regular users, having two different tables. However, currently, it only permits users to search within a single table. Is there a way to enable users to conduct searches across both tables from this interface? 

I have a table of events that all have a start and end time/date.  The start field is "Start Datetime"For example, I have event that has a start datetime of 1/1/2019 at 11:00am.  All in a date field.  1/1/2019 specificially we use as a generic fallback for old events that didn't have a date.  So we pasted in 1/1/2019 at 11:00amThese events are linked to those who participated in them.  And they have a payment amount noted.So I created a rollup field with the intention of knowing how much we paid out to those in the last year.The rollup seems to be capturing linked events which are clearly older than a year, however, and I'm not sure why.My rollup filter has the "only include linked records from the Events table that meet certain conditions", and then a filter set to only include Where Start Datetime is Within the past year.Then it aggregates by SUM(values).None the less, it

I want to calculate the difference between 2 dates. One is the purchase date of a condo and one is the sale date of that condo. I need the number of years and months to figure out refunded common charges at closing. I have the formula working for years or months. But can it be both? If not, anyone have experience in this scenario and their solution? And in the same formula, the field shows NaN if there is no data in one of the fields. For current owners the buy date will be populated, but the sell date will be blank. How do I tell the formula to leave the field blank if one field is blank? Thanks in advance for any help on this. I would like to set-up an automation using "Run a script" that checks the text in the primary field [Name] for a matching value in a multi-select field [Topic] and then populates the field with the matching value. I am trying to solve the problem that I have illustrated in the image below. I am trying to create/calculate (see image) {Rate} and {Day Total}. In the below example, the first record for "Old Cypress - Weaned Calves," if the "Weaned Calves" == "Pasture" then pull in the value .70, and then multiply that value with the "Inventory" of 450. This will result in a "Day Rate" of $350. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you! 

I'm trying to get two conditons from two fields that contain certain text that if True produces a duration value.  I can get it to work work one condition but when I add the second it will not work.  Can someone see what I'm doing wrong? This Formula works: IF(FIND("ABC",Origin),3600,0) But when I add the second condition it shows all 0's on the fields that contain "ABC" and the fields the doesn't contain"ABC" gets the 3600: IF(AND(FIND("ABC",Origin)),AND(FIND("New",{L

What's a good way to copy data from one field to another in the same table?Currently, I have data in Field A that I want to copy to Field B because I want to deactivate Field A (probably hide it.) Then, going forward current processes where data was entered via a form to Field A would instead be entered into Field B.So, this is a one-time need but there may be other changes in the data structure where having an automation in place that performs this task would be handy.If this is an automation, I'm not sure what to use as a trigger.Any ideas are welcome.

Dear Community,I do have a table with a formula field, which tells you how many times a row has to be copied.I did set up an automation which tells you to copy the row, when formula field is bigger than 0.What I can't figure out is how to tell the automation to stop copying once the desired number is reached. Is there a way to achieve this?Thank you.

Hi! I think this is simple, but can't figure it out...I have a base where I have a “Sales“ tab, here I have the date, client, and price sold. This tab has all the sales for the entire month. I can make a new “Daily view“ and filter by date, so now I can see only the current date. I can see totals here...I need to have an automation send me the total sales for the DAY. I can get(find records) the “Daily View“ from the sales tab, but I can only see a list/grid with numbers for each sale... i want to see a TOTAL DAILY SALES.Help! 

Anyone else having issues with the Interface Designer? Mine is so laggy I can't even use it. 

Hello All,I have an automation that uses a for loop to create a new record based on input from a form. When the automation is tested in "run as configured" mode the new records are created as expected. However, when testing live the automation fails to create the record. However other aspects of the automation completed correctly so I know the automation is triggering as it should. The fact that the tests are working correctly makes me think that the issue lies with something on the Airtable side and not the automation side. Could this be the case? Thanks!

While working in a Timeline view, is there a way to select a record and alt-click-shift drag to duplicate? Moving a record between swimlanes is a convenient action. Duplicating a record by clicking the three dots to the right of "expand" and choosing duplicate is convenient action. It would be really handy to just alt-click-shift-drag a record or records to duplicate it in the same swimlane or another swimlane.Certainly, I'm not the only user who might find this helpful.Thanks!
