Hello, I have posted about 15 questions this board and I have always received a solution my problem. So thank you all very much. I think I have a really tough one this time. I have a base to manage memberships and donations and legacy gifts for a not for profit. There are 6 membership levels with specific dollar amounts attached to them. So all is well as long as a person pays an amount that corresponds to an existing membership level. But when they pay an amount that is not a preexisting level, I have to assign the difference to a donation.I have a Currency field that records the actual amount paid. I have a formula field (thank you Alexey_Gusev) that shows the membership level closest to the payment amount. For instance, $35 would show as an Individual membershi which is set at $25. I need to then add the remaining $10 the donation field. The next level is $45 for a Family level. To be completely honest, I have no idea where to even

I'm creating a workflow/process tracker using Airtable. I have the following tables:WorkflowsStepsWorkflow RunsStep RunsThe Workflows table contains a list of workflow names, e.g. "New client onboarding workflow".The Steps table contains all the steps within each workflow and I have a link back to the workflow table to know which step relates to which workflow.I have automations in place so that when someone wants to run the workflow it will add a record to the Workflow Runs table and then another automation that will pull all the steps from the Steps table and add them to the Step Runs table linked back to the relevent row in the Workflow Run table.This has allowed me to create an interface where anyone can see the progress of the Workflow Runs and Step Runs that they're assigned to.What I'm struggling with is how I can add unique sub-steps to each step similar to how it is done on the dedicated workflo

Does the web api offer a way to get a field's type?  It seems like the record endpoint  does not this information. I've been looking for a while but cannot seem to find it. Am I missing something?

I have an expense base.It has two tables - All Expenses and Budget.The All Expenses table contains a form that is filled out by anyone submitting an expense. It will categorize based on program, sub-program, and category within that program.The Budget table contains every category of budget items. The overall program, then the hierarchy of sub-program and category within the program.The automation I created triggers upon the creation of a record in the All Expenses table via the form. It is set to find records that match in program, sub-program, and category. Once found, it will update the budget item record in the Budget Table. Specifically, it will update one field titled "All Expenses" in the Budget table. This field is a lookup field to the All Expenses table. There is a connected lookup field that will show the value connected to the title of the expense attached. So, the theory is that as expenses are submitted via the expense form, the automation w

I have the free version of Airtable and am trying to find where I can see my data usage per page. I was told to look for my workspace settings page, but I cannot find that. Also. I keep getting a message that I've exceeded my record limit, however I am still able to upload attachments. Anyone know where to find your data usage, and has anyone gotten record limit warnings even though you are still able to add attachments?

Images to make it easier to understand. When a record gets the single select category “Investment from private”, this automation triggers. This is synced directly from my business bank account every day. This is the record i want to update: Thought i had it covered with this automation: Buuuuut the automation overwrites the linked records instead of adding to the end of it. Is there any simpler way to deal with this? Do i have to use a script instead? This is for a client that deals with tons of transactions and i have to make a separate table categorizing cashflow.

After a record’s field changes from ‘Stage 1’ to ‘Stage 2’ I need to print the record. When it changes from ‘Stage 2’ to ‘Stage 3’ I need to print the record in a different layout. The Page Designer Block seems to do a great job creating the print layout, but I don’t see a way to trigger it for the record I’m editing (instead of searching for the record within the Page Designer Block). I also don’t see a way automatically trigger these prints. Is it possible? Any advice? It seems like external tools like Webmerge and Zapier might be involved, is that the case? Thanks, Mike

Hi there;I'm very new both to Airtable and formulae, so I hope this is just a beginner's issue and is not a function or possibility currently beyond the possibilities Airtable provides.I have a formula field (Sim Required?) that I would like to populate a green checkmark from a combination of possible options in the multiple select field (TikTok / Instagram / Router).The multiple select field has 4 options:TikTok 1, TikTok 2, Instagram and Router.I would like the green checkmark to appear under these conditions:TikTok 1 only is selected.TikTok 2 only is selected andBoth TikTok 1 and TikTok 2 are selected.I've managed to have the checkmark appear only when TikTok 1 is selected; when I try with only TikTok 2 or a combination of 1 and 2, the green checkmark doesn't appear.Thanks for any help you provide,

Hello beautiful people.I have a table with 100 kids channels maybe more in future. as we have different territories we push our channels to, we needed to shuffle those channels according to the territory. so manual adjust is needed. The main request here is : to be able to change a channel order Manually like I wanted Tigilli channel to be No 1 instead of 5. Now I have Smurfs TV as 1 , it should update to no 2 and Disney Plus channel is there is No 2 , it should update to No 3 and goes on till the end of list.As Logic : when I change the order value in a #Order field what should happens is all other higher values including the same older value that i have changed should update (+1) the numbers order sequentially according to that to still give me 100 channels with the new order. I'm using sidesheets in Interface Designer and want to add sections/groups for organization. Maybe it was luck, but I do have one sidesheet with sections that I cannot reproduce. Hi guysWe’re searching for solutions to connect h5p to airtable/ softr. It’s a platform with gamification-tools for education and it’s easy to embed this, but then we loose the possibility for reporting the results (for example in interactive videos or crossword). We see at the moment the following solutions, but from scratch we’ve no idea how to solve:A) hoping for an integration;)B) integrate it in airtable/ softrC) using active directory and only link the h5p site in the backgroundThank you for your ideas.

Hi, I'm a little lost with where to start looking for a simple tool that allows me to create a permission-based API on top of my Airtable data.I'm looking to enable an external collaborator to request the availability of a certain set of products. For that I would like to limit the user to1. Read only access2. A set of records via a view or filter3. It seems the more I learn here the more ideas I come up with that I need help with.I have a membership payment table. There are 6 levels of membership.Individual  $25.00Family  $45.00Patron  $60.00Sustaining  $100.00Benefactor $250.00Sponsor  $1,000.00I would like to write a formula in the membership level field that fills in the membership level in the membership level field using the amount entered in the amount of the membership payment field. There are 6 membership levels as above. So if they pay $35, then it would put in as an Individual membership, etc. The $10 difference would but put in a field of the donations table as a donation. Hello, I'm trying to find a function that will pull all of the long text; rich field checked boxes away from any unchecked boxes. I've found the solution linked below and it worked great for the opposite problem. Does Airtable have a simple search feature similar to the "Find" in Excel? Suppose a user is updating random fields in a 10,000 record mailing list. They need to quickly find a specific record based on varying criteria such as an unusual last name, phone number, address, whatever information might be available to find the record. In Excel this type of task is a no-brainer, what is Airtable's (hopefully) equivalent search functionality? I've seen the filter feature, that would be extremely tedious for random searches of this type. I'm new to Airtable, maybe the feature I need is right in front of me and I overlooked it. Thanks

I have a database where I have a check box that’ll indicate that a material has arrived. Im trying to have a formular to automatically record the date the check box was checked. Sofar I’ve tried with the following. IF({Trim arrived}=1,TODAY(), BLANK()) The problem that the date follows todays date and dosen’t stay at the date the the check box was clicked. HII'd like to update my current job submission form to collect extra details on certain projects.  I only want this new field to appear if Job Type "XYZ" is selected (I know how to do that part!)Part I need help with:I need the submitter to answer a few questions pertaining to the job. The API documentation says there is a rate limit of 5 requests per second.  Do we know whether this limit also applies to using personal access token?Specifically - let's say I create 5 personal access tokens - is the rate limit 5 requests per second for each personal access token or is it 5 requests per second for the user on which the personal access token is defined?For the above would the rate limit be 5 requests per second or 25 requests per second (assuming there are 5 requests for each personal access token per second)?

Ok, I'm trying to build a product catalog and inventory management Airtable. I'm trying to work out the basic structure before I get too deep into adding all of my stuff.We have components, with a Part #, which are sometimes sold on their own as a SKU.We have Products, which are made up of multiple components, sometimes more than one quantity of each component in a product. These are sold as a SKUWe have Bundles, which are made up of multiple SKUs.I want to bring in data from another source which shows SKUs sold by SKU and quantity (some are bundles, some are components, some are products), and I want to be able to drill down to the number of each component sold from that same data.Any suggestions here?
