On table A, I've added a linked record field to table B. On table A, I can add lookup fields from the linked record on table B.But on table B, I cannot add lookup fields:> No available sources to look up. Add a lookup source, then try to configure your lookup again.I created a new linked record field with the same configuration on table A and the lookup works both way. Is there a way to fix my original field to work both way too? 

Hello, I'm really enjoying building for the first time in Airtable but need some help creating a script (if that's the best approach).I have a form where users will put in 3 comma separated words to describe the Niche they work in.I want to turn this column into tags, so that I can group records by common Niche.My understanding is that I need to write a script to go inside an automation that fires when that field is not empty on a new record (when the form is filled in). And takes the text, parses it based on the commas and then adds it to my Tags column which is a multi-select field.I've tried using claude.ai and chatgpt to write the script portion but they're failing! I'm confident a real human can help me!cheersjonny

Hello, I published two templates on airtable universe some time ago but I’m now updating/improving these templates. I’ve published the changes I’ve made but I’m wondering, do users effectively subscribe to these changes or when they copy a base does this stay as it is? For example, if I add a table or a column to the template - then update the already published base - will those who have already copied the base into their own accounts see these changes? I am using Airtable to track hours worked versus workable hours in a month to try and calculate how much overtime there was in a given month. The table below is correctly doing what I want where # Hours Worked is the number of hours a person logged in a given month for different tasks. Total Hours is work days including holidays, Total Work Hours is work days not including holidays. And Hours Worked - Holidays is self explanatory (we don't want to count holiday time towards comp time). Looking at the below screenshot, the comp time would be 1 hour (161-160). The problem is that I don't think you can make a formula that can do math with the summary types. I was trying to do rollups in a different tab but it wasn't working. In excel I would do a SUMIF function where the criteria is that Month = Sep 2023 and Resource = X and have it sum total work hours and another one summing hours worked - holiday so I can subtract them.I'm trying to do this by resource by month. Hi (newbie here),Can you do a rollup on a Lookup field in a different grid?I have a table of employees.  There is a table of Trips where we look up the employees from the employee table.  Then I have a Departures Table that pulls in the Employee information from the Trips table. Now I would like to do a count(rollup) of the number of departures each employee has.I am having problems figure out how do this.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,My sister operates a bakery from her home, and I want to make things easier for her by creating a system in Airtable where she can take orders for her products.As a bonus I'd like to be able to track repeat orders from customers as a way to determine customer preferences, habits, trends, etc.There are a few problems I'm finding with this. Airtable has no way for customers to "make an account" so to speak. I'm inclined to create a table for customers, but...Customers would need to complete a separate form if they're a new customer, then come back to the order form, which feels cumbersome.For each customer that already exists in the base, Airtable will reveal all of the names in the customer table whenever a returning customer begins to search for their name, which just doesn't sit right.We could simply request name and phone number each time, but I'm not sure if that will allow me to combine those records based on phone number

Hi All, I’m wondering what is the best way to calculate some basic counts on a table via the API. We need to calculate simple counts such as total records with a Status of “Fulfilled” and total records where Status is “Fulfilled” with where the Fulfilled Date is today (see excerpt below). I’ve written a Node Twilio function to retrieve the records and then loop through them and calculate which ones meet the criteria. We then use Zapier to retrieve this output from Twilio and put it into our Slack channel daily. However, as the table grows over 30,000 records, I’m running over the 10 second execution limit in Twilio. Hi All,I have an automation issue coming from a formula field.The lookup field is coming from Tasks table, and the regions are repetitive, so i created a formula to make it as a text and im hoping the automation will take the Regions Text to a normal editable field 'TASKS - Regions', but it updates it with a blank value in the end (the blue circle in the end). Hello everybody, I have a weird problem with a gmail automation. When testing the automation works perfectly. The automation looks for a field value that is greater than 4 and then the actions are run. When manually changing the a value in the record that is used for the automation to a value greater than 4 the automation also runs perfectly. But when the automation its run automatically I suddenly get the following error in the logs: It doesn’t make any sense that this automation suddenly throws errors when it is run automatically, but every other way of running it works fine. Also, when this same automation is run again manually it just works… Someone any idea what’s going on?

Hello,I have a formula field that is supposed to return a value ("updated") when a last-updated field is today.I live in another time zone, but all of my dates are set to Eastern time to reflect my working hours. Some of the posts I have read have said that a time zone error will produce this problem. Hi,I have been using AirTable on a regular basis.  Yesterday I noticed that my chrome browser refused to go to the website (error was certificate not valid).  Upon inspection, I found that it is because, for some reasons, my browser has been redirected to a different website (web.remscripts.com) and it is this different website that has an invalid an invalid certificate. I tried a different browser (Firefox) and I did not have the same problem there.Do you know what happened? Is the website (or my computer) infected?Thanks!

I've been trying for two weeks to create some automations with integromat but i can't find a solution, can someone explain me step-by-step the necessary integromato flow (i'm sorry but i haven't knowledge in the field).I have a two tables in Airtable, OR and RA. The two most important fields in OR are: Name and Surname, Machineries and Last Modified (Machineries is a multiple choice field). When i select one or more machineries in OR i would like that every single machine will be automatically saved in RA, each machine in a different row with the associated name and surname, so that i can save in each row the time the machine has started working and the time it stopped, in order to compound the utilization of the machine.Trying to do this process i incurred in many problems, when i deselect a machine from OR it does not delete the record from RA, but it duplicates the record of the remaining machines; when i select an extra machine the new machine is saved but the

Hi there, I’m a long term user of Trello and new to Airtable. Trello had a feature where you could forward emails to your board. I would have a to-do list board and whenever I got a request emailed to me I could just forward it to the board and it would create a to-do item for me. Does this function exist within Airtable? I am trying to incorporate a formula column which looks for entries which may include swear words, but I cant seem to get this formula to work. Here is a snippet (I've taken out a lot of the middle which is just 3230 different swear words) but the beginning and end are there. Hello, I am starting with Airtable Scripting.I need to use the content of two cells as input text for a function that formats the text in a specific way.Using this way I only get the value of the first row [0], but this needs to work for every row. I published an interface and when I open it in Chrome on an Android smartphone everytime I scroll with my thumb, the detail page opens and makes it impossible to bite the entire list.Records should only open when tapped, not on a swipe!
