Is there a way to update manually a "Last modified by" or "Last modified time" field?We use a field to check who was the last person to update an ID field. But we sometime have to bulk update these fields for cleaning or managing the database and the "last modified by" is now entirely set to the creator/admin who made the update.- Is there a way to update manually these fields?- Is there an existing extension for this? or a script ?- Maybe there is a way to "impersonate" a user in order to set the needed values to those fields? (I tried this with the interface functionnality to see interface as another user, it did not work)Thank you very much !

Hi community,I have two table, the first one is a database synchronised with many other, fulfilled directly by stores themself and it is creating a product list. The second table is contact information about the stores.I would like to link phone, number and adress regarding the store concerned.In my screenshots, green circled data are synchronised, and the red circled one are thoose I want to import from the table "ENTREPRISE INFOS".So in "BDD ARTICLE" table, if Sync Source is "Magasin 1", I want to display information regarding "Magasin 1" in my "ENTREPRISE INFOS" table.I didn't find any way to do it, thanks a lot for your help 🙂

I'm having an issue with Maps Block authenticating my Google Maps API key.  It works fine if I make the key unrestricted, but adding the restriction to Airtable breaks/blocks the map block from reaching the API.  Per the Airtable dialog box I'm supposed to add this address to the permitted HTTP referrers: *.airtableblocks.com/*Is this still the correct address? In the Google Cloud Console do I do more than check "websites" and literally paste that in as the permitted website address?  I tried adding https://*.airtableblocks.com/* and that didn't work either.  I've attached a screenshot from Cloud Console.

Hi I am trying to create an automation where a record in one table (New Listing) is updated by submission and record creation in another table (Sold). Example: Record sits in New Listing and then a form is submitted in Sold, then a record is created in the Sold table. I want this to then update the status of the record in New Listing to Sold?Can this be done? Thanks

I have a warning that my file is over the limit of 1,000 records per base, but it only has 531 records.The warning says it has 1145 records. There is no filter applied, it only has 531 records!Nothing else is over the limit.

Hey all, sorry this topic sort of covers not only bases, but also interfaces so forgive me.We have a few itemsCourses that have a field of "Who Can Teach", this field is populated from a linked fieldThat linked field is currently derived from a synced table, Staff.  Another base has scheduling of clients, that uses the Main Instructor field to schedule an instructor.The idea is:When someone schedules a specific course, the Main Instructor field will only show instructors that have been "assigned' or elected that they can teach said course.  We use emails as a keyid across the bases, so it can't be a lookup for per se as certain automations don't work well with lookups along with other reasons lookups aren't always useful.  They have to be able to be selected by someone, and not just a list.Then there is the idea of an interface for the instructors to add themselves to a list of courses.  We have

Hi everyone, I searched through the community posts but could not find anything.Using a formula I created custom URL for every person in our company that will allow prefills in a form.CONCATENATE('https://airtable.com/appxxxx','?prefill_Your Name=',Name)for example 'https://airtable.com/appxxxx','?prefill_Your Name=',John Doe)Problem is that there are now blanks and therefore only the first part of link is recognised as such. I know that I can use %20 is used in the final URL. But this does not make the URL in my dataset clickableAnyone an idea what I would need to do?

On table A, I've added a linked record field to table B. On table A, I can add lookup fields from the linked record on table B.But on table B, I cannot add lookup fields:> No available sources to look up. Add a lookup source, then try to configure your lookup again.I created a new linked record field with the same configuration on table A and the lookup works both way. Is there a way to fix my original field to work both way too? 

Hello, I'm really enjoying building for the first time in Airtable but need some help creating a script (if that's the best approach).I have a form where users will put in 3 comma separated words to describe the Niche they work in.I want to turn this column into tags, so that I can group records by common Niche.My understanding is that I need to write a script to go inside an automation that fires when that field is not empty on a new record (when the form is filled in). And takes the text, parses it based on the commas and then adds it to my Tags column which is a multi-select field.I've tried using claude.ai and chatgpt to write the script portion but they're failing! Hello, I published two templates on airtable universe some time ago but I’m now updating/improving these templates. I’ve published the changes I’ve made but I’m wondering, do users effectively subscribe to these changes or when they copy a base does this stay as it is? For example, if I add a table or a column to the template - then update the already published base - will those who have already copied the base into their own accounts see these changes? I am using Airtable to track hours worked versus workable hours in a month to try and calculate how much overtime there was in a given month. The table below is correctly doing what I want where # Hours Worked is the number of hours a person logged in a given month for different tasks. Total Hours is work days including holidays, Total Work Hours is work days not including holidays. And Hours Worked - Holidays is self explanatory (we don't want to count holiday time towards comp time). Looking at the below screenshot, the comp time would be 1 hour (161-160). The problem is that I don't think you can make a formula that can do math with the summary types. I was trying to do rollups in a different tab but it wasn't working. In excel I would do a SUMIF function where the criteria is that Month = Sep 2023 and Resource = X and have it sum total work hours and another one summing hours worked - holiday so I can subtract them.I'm trying to do this by resource by month. Hello,My sister operates a bakery from her home, and I want to make things easier for her by creating a system in Airtable where she can take orders for her products.As a bonus I'd like to be able to track repeat orders from customers as a way to determine customer preferences, habits, trends, etc.There are a few problems I'm finding with this. Airtable has no way for customers to "make an account" so to speak. I'm inclined to create a table for customers, but...Customers would need to complete a separate form if they're a new customer, then come back to the order form, which feels cumbersome.For each customer that already exists in the base, Airtable will reveal all of the names in the customer table whenever a returning customer begins to search for their name, which just doesn't sit right.We could simply request name and phone number each time, but I'm not sure if that will allow me to combine those records based on phone number

Hi All, I’m wondering what is the best way to calculate some basic counts on a table via the API. We need to calculate simple counts such as total records with a Status of “Fulfilled” and total records where Status is “Fulfilled” with where the Fulfilled Date is today (see excerpt below). I’ve written a Node Twilio function to retrieve the records and then loop through them and calculate which ones meet the criteria. We then use Zapier to retrieve this output from Twilio and put it into our Slack channel daily. However, as the table grows over 30,000 records, I’m running over the 10 second execution limit in Twilio. Hi All,I have an automation issue coming from a formula field.The lookup field is coming from Tasks table, and the regions are repetitive, so i created a formula to make it as a text and im hoping the automation will take the Regions Text to a normal editable field 'TASKS - Regions', but it updates it with a blank value in the end (the blue circle in the end). Hello everybody, I have a weird problem with a gmail automation. When testing the automation works perfectly. The automation looks for a field value that is greater than 4 and then the actions are run. When manually changing the a value in the record that is used for the automation to a value greater than 4 the automation also runs perfectly. But when the automation its run automatically I suddenly get the following error in the logs: It doesn’t make any sense that this automation suddenly throws errors when it is run automatically, but every other way of running it works fine. Also, when this same automation is run again manually it just works… Someone any idea what’s going on?

Hello,I have a formula field that is supposed to return a value ("updated") when a last-updated field is today.I live in another time zone, but all of my dates are set to Eastern time to reflect my working hours. Some of the posts I have read have said that a time zone error will produce this problem.
