Hello, I have one formula field {Ball 1 ?} in the table A . The formula checks another table {Ball 1} via a linked record to see if it contains an attachment. If it does, the computed field writes "Yes", if it is empty, it writes "No". This part works fine.I have another field (checkbox) named {Balloon 1} in the table A, that I want to add to the logic.But when I add {Balloon 1} to the condition:Meaning : If {Ball 1} OR {Balloon 1} is true, then writes "Yes" in {Ball 1 ? } and "No" if it is false.I receive an error and it doesn't accept the formula.Here is how I wrote it in the formula field {Ball 1 ?} : IF( OR( {Ball 1},{Balloon 1} ), " Yes", " No", )  How can I fix it ? Any advice ?

How do I have a formula based on 2 different multi-select fields, that will add a specified number to the resulting formula, based on how many options were selected for each multi-select field?Remember that each multi-select will be adding on different number.Here is my formula so far.   (IF( {Pull Factors Attract}, LEN({Pull Factors Attract}) - LEN( SUBSTITUTE( {Pull Factors Attract}, ",", "" ) ) ) + 0 ) * 2 + (IF( {Bonus Pull Factors}, LEN({Bonus Pull Factors}) - LEN( SUBSTITUTE( {Bonus Pull Factors}, ",", "" ) ) +0 ) + 2 ) * 1   You can see an example base here.&nbsp

I've set up a Table for recording my Staff working hours, moving from a paper system. Each day the staff member using a form, enters the date, name and number of hours worked, site location etc. When its time for payroll I want to create views that filter for last months payroll window. Our window runs from 25th of the month to 24th of next month. So when I'm preparing payroll on the 24th October, I want the view to filter out all results except those falling in 25th sept to 24th Oct pay window. I was trying to use filter so many days ago, but this varies each month depending if its 30 or 31 days. Is there a way of setting up a filter from the 25th of last month specifically? 

HelloI'm testing airtable and I want to make a database with all my trial cases. These are cases that we must check  with some regularity, the idea is that each case generates a record and that once the record is created, it will be assigned to a role of periodic reviews, meaning, each case must be check by my staff every 3 months to update de info of each case an check the task or actions that we need to take with every case.  So  My desire is to create some kind of automation to generate monthly an e- mail to me an my assistant to check those cases that reach the 3 month period and need to be checked for updates.  Also, I already have a lot of existing cases, and my goal is to divide those cases in groups to not overwhelm my assistant with all the cases needing a review at the same time, but I don’t know how to do that.  Hope someone can help me, and sorry if my English is not good, is not my native language

Total airtable newbie here in need of some help and direction, please! I have two tasks I would like to accomplishPlease find below a screenshot of what my table looks like. I have a drop-down selection field for each year camp has taken place, and can select “camper” “staff” or “canceled” for each year. Task 1: I would like to have a field that calculates the number of years a person has been in attendance at camp, whether or not they were staff or a camper. Hi all,I want to create an Interface page that helps my team with a recurring task, that involves three tables:Choose a single project, presumably using a record picker ("Projects" table)In a grid or list below, choose multiple records ("media outlets" table) with a check-markUpon clicking a button, an automation creates entries in a third table ("status" table). These entries are linked to the project from step 1 and the selected media outlets from step 2 and also are assigned a certain status (i.e. "new")It sounds simple, but I fail to pass the info from both the record selector and the grid on to the script.Seriously hoping this is doable. I would appreciate any hint as to where I should be looking as I am quite lost at the moment.Thank you!

We very recently hit the limit to the number of automations you can have in a base, but we still have a laundry list of automations we would like to create.How do you all handle the limit put in place on a base? Is there any creative solutions out there? I was thinking of maybe moving some tables off into another base, but then I would probably hit the 10 table sync limit in our base too.Use the API? But how would triggers work? 

We need to create individual customer forms that they fill out that populates their specific products. ( A filtered view that only displays their products.) I got the form to properly populate responses in our base to the respective customer.The problem is that Fillout requires a unique record id that gets pasted in their grid view to populate that data correctly.  Because its connected to a base with all the customers, pasting a specific fillout.com customer link will populate in the entire base, causing the form to override the last customers data. We have one base containing all of the customers, with individual grid views for specific customers. Pasting this link into a specific grid view will of course appear in the master grid view as well. What are my options? Does every customer need its own tab for fillout to link to? Or is there a way to paste Fillout record links to individual customer grid views without overriding the entire base?

I am currently working on a form, and I would like to know if it is possible to include hyperlinks within a form question. I believe this functionality would greatly enhance the user experience and provide valuable additional information to our respondents. To provide more context, I am looking to creating a checkbox question that includes hyperlinks to external resources (privacy policy and terms & conditions). These hyperlinks would have to be reviewed first before checking the box. I have explored form creation tools, but I couldn't find a straightforward way to implement hyperlinks within the question in the form. Hopefully someone can help.  

Working on costuming for a film - have 4 main tables of Actors, Costumes, Scenes, and Characters.There's a lot of table to table referencing going on w/ lookups...But one thing I would LOVE to be able to do:When looking at the COSTUMES table (characters have multiple costumes) - there is a lookup field that shows what SCENES that costume is used in.  (Scenes are described by a number).In the SCENES table - I have a check mark field to keep track of what scene is wrapped (already shot)Back in the COSTUMES table, the scenes a costume is used in all show up as a list of numbers in little grey pill boxes. I'd LOVE it if the color of those pill boxes could be colored differently if they have a checkmark in the "wrapped" field in the scenes table.I created a conditional coloring of records in that SCENES table... but alas, it does not translate that record color over to the pills in the lookup field in the COSTUMES table. T

Hi. Im having two issues with automations. Thanks in advance for any help - Michael1. My automations only run when a new or matching record is submitted through a form. If I do so on the table itself which the trigger is set up to monitor for either matching or new records, the automation doesn't run. Am unclear why?2. My automations for matching records will only run on new matching records (submitted through a form) and not on all the matching records on the table. What do I need to adjust? Thanks again!

I don't understand why this formula isn't working ... I can only think it has something to do with the Now() calculation.IF({Quote Status}="Selected" And(Now()) > {Scheduled Date},     {Scheduled Date},     IF({Quote Status} = "Fulfilled",          {Adj. I have a field with a formula that calculates total days using this formula: IF({Status 📝}="Unassigned", WORKDAY_DIFF({Create Date},TODAY(),'2023-09-04'), "N/A")The formula works, but returns results of 1, 2, 3 etc., which when i try to use this column in a graph it does not sort correctly.  I need the results to be 01, 02, 03 to be able to sort in ascending or descending order or I need a field that reads the formula field and converts it to a number that can be sorted. Any suggestions are appreciated. 

I'm not exactly sure on the best way to go about doing this or if I am posting this in the correct location. I want to send a text message to a group of employees about upcoming open shifts. I have the employees in a table and i have the upcoming shifts in another. I am able to text individual employees a standard message now. I am not sure how i can add the open shift date to the message and then pick which employees i want to send the message to and have the date added into it as well. The employee table and the shifts tables are linked. Right now i am able to send the message with an automation that is sent by a button in an interface I created. maybe it isn't possible or maybe its super easy and i am overthinking it. Thanks for any help in advance!

It'd be nice if we could put a photo in base's appearance, although airtable offers several options, we could have more personalized bases, making it easier to identify each one  

Hi everyone,I'm very new to Airtable and I'm trying to get an automation to check a column called "Vehicle Registration" and a column called "VIN No" and if either of these two columns match with an older record, both the new record and the old record are either highlighted as duplicates, or a column with a checkbox is automatically ticked to show it's a duplicate record.What would be the best way to go about this?Thanks in advance.

I would like to disconnect the general Slack Notifications from a base — the one that posts messages to a Slack channel whenever a base is updated, not a custom automation. I can't figure out how to disable the connection; when I click on "All Slack notification rules" the page comes up empty.

I have a table called "companies" that is linked to another table called "deals" where 1 company can have many deals.  On the companies table, I have a roll up called "latest deal", that takes the max deal start date from the deals that the company is linked to.  This all works great.Now I have a sync from the companies table to another base which tracks a project status for each company.  The "latest deal" field is sync'd in this new base.I noticed today that I had a deal start date (in my original base) change from 2020-01-15 to 2020-01-14.  This updated the roll-up in the companies table of the original base but did not trigger a sync to the new base.  And when I manually triggered the sync, it still didn't update to the new date.The only way I could get the update to sync across was by temporarily changing my roll-up formula in the original base from max(values) to min(values) and then back to max(values)!Has anyone else exper

Is there a way to sort the contents of a cell alphabetically? If I create a cell that is gathering data from other sources (linked file, concatenated), can I then take that data and arrange it alphabetically? I'm struggling to find anything that works with the data in a single cell.Thank you for any tips you might have!

I have set up an automation to send client creatives for approval, which allows them to update the database with either an 'approved' or 'denied' status. However, it appears that they need to create an account to do so. Is there a way for them to approve without having to create an account? Thank you. 

Getting a lot of issues with scripts starting today, that previously worked fine.  All having JSON issues with webhooks received.  This is an error from a script that is run from a webhook that is hooked up to a button in an interface. SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0at runWebhook on line 30 at async main on line 14 Anyone having issues with these starting today? EDIT: 6pm PST - seems to be working correctly now.  Must be some sort of back-end issue. Will post back if any other errors surface.

When you remove a collaborator who had already been added to a specific base, does it send them any notification (email, push notification, etc.) that they were removed? We're trying to tighten up our information security as our team grows, but don't want to unnecessarily alarm existing team members that they're being removed from bases which they weren't accessing regularly, if at all, in the first place.
