Hello everyone,I'm trying to use the filterContains URL parameter in a shared view with linked records. The issue I'm encountering is that this parameter only displays records when they exactly match the value provided in the URL, but I'd like it to function more like the filters in Airtable.For example, the Primary Field contains numbers, and I want to use the URL filter to display all the records containing one number (let's say 1...).That's what my URL looks like right now:https://airtable.com/appFS2avSSJRUpu7Z/shryOSrtr0WQfI3FQ/tblhf3jVTnogU7Yyz?filterContains_Table+2=1  

Hi,I would like to know is it possible to have a roll up or look up for a field that is is multiply tables lets say 3 to 15 the is a number value and have it show up in a primary table that all other tables a linking to?I am hoping to make separate bills of materials (tables) that link to my primary table witch is a list of stocked items and used item that need to be ordered.any help of info would be greatly helpfull. 

Hello,I have an issue and I already asked airtable with no hope for any replies whatsoever. I have over 80$ of credits that I transferred to my workspace. I am subscribed to a Team Plan and it says that my available credits will be automatically deducting the invoices that will come through. Instead, it goes "Charge failed" multiple times and now I have a 3 days notice before they force me to a free plan. I paid with my credit card before, but since I invited my coworkers and applied the credits. It hasn't even deducted anything. Instead it WANTS ME to avail of the plan YEARLY or another plan upgrade MONTHLY in order for the credits to be applied. I just want to remain in the monthly of my current plan.

On September 3rd I received an email that our automation limit had been reached. This is not likely, not in three days, I checked run histories and all is good. The only limit that we exceeded was the 100 external emails a day. This shut off all automations not just emails. Airtable is now unusable for our team.

Is there a way to search for records based on historical data, specifically transitional statuses? Say a record was in Status A, went to B, went to C, went to D. Is there a way to see all records that ever entered status B

Newish to AirTable and trying to figure out the best way to do this and can't seem to sort it out. There is a lot going on with my base and I'm stuck with this part. I'm going to try to simplify what I would like to do... On Table 1: I have created an automation to email out an AirTable form to everyone on Table 1 (which has a trigger linked to it for something else) with the AirTable form and data populating Table 2 All of that is set up and is running smoothly - This is where I'm getting stuck. I would like to create an automation to RESEND a reminder to complete the form X number of days later to anyone who has not completed the form yet. Is there a way to do this? Workarounds, formulas, ideas all welcomed. *Extra info: Reason its going into Table 2 is other people who are not on the Table 1 list may also be completing the survey 

Hi,I am making what to me seems like a simple change to a simple IF Formula. The prior version of the formula was: IF({Money Out},-ABS({Money Out}),IF({Money In},ABS({Money In})))This is the new formula. IF({Money Out},-ABS({Money Out}),IF({Money In},ABS({Money In})),IF({Debit or Credit},{Debit or Credit})) For some reason, even after I press "SAVE" after updating the formula, when I go out of the field and come back to the field, I see the prior version of the formula. So I have still not heard back from Customer Support with my question regarding upgrading to a Business Plan. It's quite frustrating as it's an honest question on how to transition to the Business Plan from the Pro Plan. I have a client that just paid for an annual subscription around month prior to the announcement of the restructuring of Airtable plans. So in essence, there would be around 9ish months remaining on their Pro Plan.I want to know if anyone has upgraded from the Pro Plan to the Business Plan and already had money remaining on an annual subscription. More specifically transitioning from one annual subscription to a new one.If YES, how did you transition from the Pro Plan to the Business Plan?Thanks in advance! 👌

Hello, I am struggling to connect Matlab to Airtable's API. All calls that I make to post are returned with 422: Unprocessable Entity, no matter how I configure the data structure. I can successfully make get calls with Matlab's webread(), but fail with all webwrite() posts. I have also performed posts with python using the same authorization key. This tells me that my link, authorization, and write access are all working and it is a problem with webwrite(). I have tried formatting the data in many ways as shown by the screenshot, primarily attempting using structs or nested structs as the data entry. Even using a key value pair directly in webwrite() all gives the same 422 error. Following the Matlab documentation on these functions explicitly yields these same results so any further insight would be greatly appreciated. Hi. Can I send emails to my customers via Airtable?I mean, can I do it directly from the client's profile and have the entire email history stored in the client's profile? Also, I would like the emails that the client sends to me to be immediately delivered to the client's account in Airtable. The idea is that I can correspond with the client without using my Gmail account.Thanks.

I am sure it is quite simple, but for some reason, I can't find the way to do it.Let us say I have Table A. In the Table A, I have, amongst many others, a Date field.I also have Table B, with two fields in it. One field is a (unique) Date. The other field is just a number. Let us call it [Day Number].[Table A/Date] and [Table B/Date] are not linked.I just want [Table A] to look at its own [Date] field, then search for the corresponding [Date] in [Table B] and retrieve the corresponding [Day Number].Must not be very difficult, but I can't find the way! 

In airtable it is possible to take an extented free trial (similar to team plan) if you are a student. In the discription on the website of Airtable.com can you find that this trail is '6 months to 24 months'. How long is this student free trial then? 6 months or 24 months? Or somewhere in between?

Even though I believe this is an Airtable support question, I'm posting here because that's the option I have.I have a client with about 10 interface pages. On one of these pages, the graphs are in a constant loading state, or say "Internal error, please refresh". All other pages are loading graphs just fine.These graphs are from different tables within the base, so it's not just one table causing issues. I tried duplicating the charts and deleting the older ones, but that didn't help. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Is this a result of pricing tier changes? This client is on PRO (Teams).

Hi, I wonder if you can help me.  I’m stuck with a linking problem between tables in bases.Scenario:  We have several clients and some of them have completed a feedback survey(s).  I wish to create a column that counts the total number of feedback surveys completed by each client.  Clients are stored in BASE1 and completed surveys are stored in BASE2.  I have activated ‘Sync data to another base’ to make the survey table data available in BASE1 and that is all working fine.I then created a ‘Link to’ column in the Clients table and pointed it at the synced Survey table (both in BASE1).  I was expecting this ‘Link to’ column to be automatically populated with a unique reference to the survey number(s) or be blank if no survey existed.  Instead, the ‘Link to’ column is entirely blank and when I click into it, I get a pop-up to create a relationship between individual data points in the Clients and Surveys tables.  I don’t want to cr

Hi, When using the Slack actionable messages integration in Airtable automations, I receive the following message in Slack after pressing a button : "You do not have access to this Airtable record, or it has been deleted."I set up the automation to send the validation to a specified user when a new record is created.The user can choose between "Option 1" and "Option 2". They update the same select field having the values "Option 1" and "Option 2" in Airtables.Yet after pressing the button, the update is denied in Slack.I have the Airtable app installed.Any idea ?

I followed both Airtable’s and Medium’s guides for embedding table views in a Medium post. Neither work. From what I understand Medium uses embed.ly to handle how links are embedded since Medium does not support code injection into posts.With that said, what’s supposed to happen is you click embed on a Medium post, paste the share link produced in Airtable, then embed.ly works out the embed in the background. Issue is Airtable has changed the way their links are formatted since that guide and it just posts as a link now instead of an embed. I only signed up for Airtable for this EXACT feature. Any way to fix this?

Hi, I am trying to add on more function to the existing auto set date script I found on Airtable extension (please see below). I am hoping to incorporate into the code below that if there is a task that has been marked it should start 20 days before the entered project start date, and another task that is marked 30 days after project start date but it will not have a specific dependant controlling it. Hi, I'm struggling to figure out how to get product support and wondering if anyone has faced a similar issue. We use Airtable to sync information into a database within our software. There is a unique ID we use in Airtable and our database to match the records. Frequently, but not always, our product renders an error message saying that ID is not found in Airtable and thus can't sync. However, the ID number is always present - it's somehow not being read or sent correctly. We've investigated from our end and there is nothing wrong that we can identify. So I'm trying to figure out if there are issues from Airtable's end that could be causing this or other ways we can troubleshoot. 

My team uses an interface, which allows us to add new linked records (ie we pull up a record, which has a linked record field, and we have the permissions set to create that). However, when clicking create, many members of our team are finding airtable will not save. We are not getting expected errors like "required field not completed", but rather, you click "Create" and nothing happens. This is making the interface borderline impossible to use.  Would love to see this bug fixed. Thanks

Hey all,I've set up an Airtable automation that links every new [Payment] record to a [Monthly summary] record - or creates a new Monthly summary record and links to that if one doesn't already exist.When a payment is added, the automation searches the Monthly summary table by its ID; if it finds a record there it will link the new payment record to that existing Monthly summary; if it doesn't find a record it will create a new Monthly summary and then link the Payment.It all works fine for individual entries - however, I need to import a large amount of payment data from an old system, and when I test even a few records, it duplicates the Monthly summary entries - i.e. it doesn't realise that one already exists and adds a new one - I think probably because multiple automations are firing simultaneously rather than 'queuing' them and firing them one after the other.Here's a quick video showing what should happen and what's actually happening:
