New to airtables, so hoping someone could help with an automation i am trying to make.I have a grid containing all the purchases of products i am selling. Multiple of the same product are grouped on each line as i purchase them. However when i get a return from a customer, I want this to pull through to another table so i can properly track it. I have a tickbox column titled return. I would like it to work that when a customer returns a product, I can click the checkbox and it will pull through the product information into another grid so that all the returns are in one place. As i can have multiple returns of the same product from different customers, i would like to be able to pull through the information multiple times at the click of a button.Hopefully the above makes sense.
Hey guys,I'm trying to set up an easy way to track budgets within my club. There are multiple subteams in the club with each their own budget, and I want them to be able to submit orders to me so that I can place them and then have a live update on a total of how much each team has spent. I want it set up where if I select a checkbox, that means that order price gets added to the total spent in another tab.I am running into the issue where if any of the checkboxes are selected then all the payment totals get summed at once rather than just the singular order I checked. Also, if I ever uncheck a box, I want that to also be reflected. I'll leave a video below with some of my issue to clear it up.

I have set up the Linked field which is linked to another table but it's not showing 1000 field values from 15000 rows.Do I need to add these values manually or is there any other way to do this without breaking the link?
Title pretty much says it all. I found the article covering how to create a GCal automation in general. I don't see anywhere in here where you can specify that, for instance, all invited attendees should be able to edit the event or add more attendees. From what I can see playing around in GCal's native web client, you can set a default property for the client that when creating events in any calendar you have access to, it should use a particular setting for attendee access level:This is a "General" setting, not a setting belonging to any of your individual calendars.So I'm pretty sure if you wanted to have events get created with any setting other than making attendees read-only, that change needs to come from the client side, i.e. AirTable needs to enable choosing this setting in the Automation.
Hi! I am looking for a formula to calculate the school year. I have a date field that I want to use. The formula I thought would work is not working. Hi All, I'm working on a base that needs several fields to be adjustable to display a date or text. Right now the date is being pulled from some formulas but the text is an option should the user need to add a note there instead. I'd really like to keep this all in one field instead of having a date field and a note field since this is duplicated across several different date fields. I can't figure out how to add a step to the formula to first check if something is text vs a number. Any suggestions?
Hi there,I am using Airtable to design a system to manage form responses, hooked up to my form in JotForm. When a form submission comes in, I want to check whether the individual is a member of my organisation. I am currently doing this by exporting a csv from my membership database which is currently in Power Apps and uploading it to a table in the same base as my form response data. The Power Apps system is an old system that needs updating, however this is beyond my control right now. I then run an automation matching these form entries with the membership data, importing their membership number into the form response table in the base if they match and flagging that they are not a member with a tick box if no match is found. The membership data is updated weekly, and so I am dragging and dropping the latest csv version of the membership data into Airtable every week. However, this breaks my automations as it considers this to be new data in a new table rather than an upda
Hi, I cannot download attachment files via windows app.I can download via Web blowser like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.I could download files until today but I cannot today.I uploaded tons of files yesterday. But is it related to this problem?If somebody got same problems before and solved it, I would like to know how I can solve this problem.
Hi there, Apologies if this is a bit elementary: I've created a URL field in a base, and I want to create a button in an Interface that will reference the link inside it and when clicked, take you to that page in a new tab. However, whenever I click "Go to URL in Record" option, it says unconfigured source and nothing comes up. How do I fix this? Thanks, Peter
I have a records with attachments that I have filtered down to just what I want to download. Is there a way to download all the attachments of the filtered records? Or do I have to walk through each record downloading each individually?

I need some help! I'm trying to figure out how to create a formula to calculate the % of column groupings total. As you can see by the picture. The total building size is 997,821 (SUM at the bottom). Each year is grouped together showing the SUM of total square footage of leases expiring that year. In 2028, there are five records (leases expiring) totaling 19,070 square feet. How can I create a new column in my pivot table that calculates SUM of the Year (19,070 RSF) and divide it by the total building size ( SUM at bottom 997,821 RSF) to get 1.9%, for each grouped year?Unfortunately, when i try to create a new column with the formula ({RSF Total} / SUM({RSF Total})) * 100, it does not work. Is this because my RSF Total column is a Rollup field? Thanks!
Hi _ I am using automations to turn on an IOT device. When I enter the javascript in the automation and test it. It works. When I actually add a record and have it trigger the automation, it runs (or says it does) but the webhook doesnt seem to run (the light doesnt go on/off) like it does in the Test Environment. Any Ideas?
I am looking for help with an IF(FIND) formula (I think that’s what I need it to be). Here’s the result I’m looking for. If {Order Line Items} contains “8009586” display 2.5 FT Core Display, If {Order Line Items} contains “8009587” display 5 FT Core Display, if neither display None. Here’s what I have written but it’s not working: IF(FIND(“8009586”, {Order Line Items}), ‘2.5 FT Core Display’, IF(FIND(“8009567”, {Order Line Items}), ‘5 FT Core Display’), ‘None’)) I’ve created a work-around by creating this formula: IF(FIND(“8009586”, {Order Line Items}), ‘2.5 FT Core Display’, ‘5 FT Core Display’). This will show the first part and defaults to the 5 FT Core Display if the first part number is not there. It works but could have holes if neither parts are actually listed. Any help on refining this would be appreciated!
HelloI am new to airtable. I'm sure this is simple, but I can't seem to solve the problem.I have a table with a multiple select column. I want to save in a field or in another table all the options that are generated in the multiple selection column.For example:The multiple select column includes: math, sports or geography selected along the rows.If I include a new option (new row) as "physics" it should be reflected in the new field that collects all available or selected options.The goal is to then be able to send a list of available options to webflow.I hope the explanation is correct.Thanks
I have data that I am importing from a CSV. Sometimes it will import into my date field without issues, and other times it will simply be blank. In the screenshots I have attached, the left column is an Airtable date field (screenshot of settings attached) and the right column is the raw date data for comparison. I am trying to determine why some data will format correctly and others don't, but I can't seem to find any correlation. Additionally, I have tried using DATETIME_PARSE() but that has not yielded the correct date. Any thoughts?
Hi there,I have a table which has all of the raw data from form submissions. I want to run some automations to change the format of email addresses, home addresses etc. However, I don't want to replace the raw data with the cleaned version, I want to have a table of the raw data and a table for the cleaned data. I want to clean the data as the forms are submitted. Is there a way to sync the data such that any new form submissions in Table A (raw) get put into Table B (cleaned), but which would allow me to then run automations and edits on the data in Table B without editing any data in Table A? I have a User field that allows multiple users to be tagged. I'd like to write a formula that will pull those people's first names into a comma-delimited list. I came up with the following:LEFT({Users}, FIND(" ", {Users})-1)...which does the trick if there's just one person tagged. But if multiple people are tagged, the formula only returns the first name of the first person.Is there a way to make this work? I have a feeling this might require a REGEX formula though I'm not so clear on how they work...Thank you!
Hi,I have a multi-select column that occurs in several different tables on my Airtable project. Is there a way to sync the options that populate for these columns? For example, if I added "Clinical" as an option in Table A for that column then "Clinical" would also be added as an option in Table B & C for that recurring column. Hi,I have a requirement where I need a trigger when new Spreadsheet with the term containing Brand created. I need automation/script/Zap to read the spread sheet created and create these records present in the google sheet into airtable. I did a lot of searching on Zapier, There seems to be no automation which reads google sheets drive link from airtable and creates those records in airtable Can someone help me if they have worked on something similar? I have a calendar view in one of my bases. I went to share view, sync to an external calendar and copied the link. I sent this link to a user via text. I had the user right-click and select copy from the text message. I then had her go into apple calendar, calendars, add calendar, add subscription calendar, paste the URL in the subscription URL field and click on subscribe. She then gets the message "Validatioin failed. Please edit the URL and try again" I tried the same steps at the same time she did in my own calendar and it worked fine. What could the issue be?
I have created a webflow logic triggered by a form. The data of the form is sent to airtable. Currently receiving the following error: "error": { "type": "INVALID_REQUEST_BODY", "message": "Could not parse request body"however tests are running successfully. Please see below: In webflow's community someone said to check JSONlint and this is occurs: let me know if there is any additional information I can provide in order to clarify. Any help is appreciated!
