Heya,just a Formula newb here 🙂 Im Trying to set automaticly the Date 3 day before. When i set a Date manualy in a Field, another one should display a date 3 days before excluding weekends.I just only managed 3 days before but weekends are still included.Here my formula (Datefield is my manual selected field)Formula:  DATEADD(DATEFIELD, -3, "day")      Thanks for any advice!

I have 2 tables.Table 1 contains column ATable 2 contains column BNow, I want to check if the text appears in Table 1 also appears in a specific cell in Table 2.For example: Table 1   Table2text         text, text6, text99text3text4So in this example I will get a TRUE only for 'text' since it's located on Table 2

I'm new to Airtable with some background in relational databases but I need advice.I have built base for our nonprofit to manage volunteers. The Volunteer table has names, skills, availability, etc and the Personal References table holds several references for each volunteer. The 2 tables are linked with a Volunteer ID field - one-to-many relationship (volunteer-to-references) Typically, I would like potential volunteers to submit their applications via a form on our website.I have tried using 3rd party tools to build forms to add records to these tables but these tools only allow using one table per form. Is there another way to collect this information, populate both tables, and maintain the links? Either within Airtable or elsewhere?Thanks!

I'm using the 'create google doc' automation to output a grid of records.One of my record fields is a formula field - which is concatenating 2 long text fields together, and using the '\n' in the formula to give me a line break between the two fields being pulled in.  This works fine in the airtable (it shows the line breaks) - but I loose the line break when the google doc is generated: Any help very appreciated!! 🙂Layla  

I will be using Make to update a table with information gathered in the field. This includes new photos of assets. There should be only one photo in the attachment field, with all old photos stored in a separate field. I don't want to just replace the original attachment, as these photos are still needed. I want to be able to do the following:Upload the new photo into an attachment field ("Photo") using Make.Once the photo is uploaded, the previous attachment is moved to the "Old Photos" field. This field can have more than one photo stored in it.Is there a way to achieve this using scripting or some other tool?

Hello!I have 2 slightly different views which I want to sync / share at the same time...one has info for sending mail, and the other will be for receiving responses.We will use one single select field / column that has statuses, so when we send the mails, we will mark it 'sent' and then when we receive the responses, we will use the same field/column, but arranged in a different view which should live beneath the sending view in one single table, but change the status to whatever the responses is which will be a single select drop down menu with responses such as 'interested' or 'maybe another time' etc... all good so far?now, I want to set this up in one main template, and then sync/share the 2 views, multiple times, over and over again, each time I start a new project which follows the same process, right? Then when I update the data in the template, which is the start point 'master contact data' - it gets updated across all the various proj

It seems like when an interface gets any changes and re-publishes, the URL to the interface changes?  This makes setting up automations in slack or anything else based on the interface URL difficult.  Is there a way to create static links to Interface pages that can work with automations?

Hi, sorry in advance if this question has already been answered.I would like to compare two sets of date from different table, in the Table A I have a field with single select date that i want to compare with the Table B with multiple select, if in the Table B one of the data is the same I want to show the name of the person. If you need a context, I want to see the mentors that can help a student from a field that they choose, the mentors have given us many area of expertise and the student just one area of expertise, so from those two datas i want to do the matching and see the name of the mentors that can help this student.Thanks in advance!

Hi,I'd like to ask people more advanced than me to see if there is a way to do this.I have 2 tables: a Contact one and an Articles one.Each one has a multiselect field that hold the same data: Contacts select their interest (i.e. Sport, Tourism, etc) and Articles are tagged based on their topic (Sport, Tourism, etc).What I would like is to find the Articles for each Contact: a match would be considered if at least one of the Contact's interest matches at least one of the Article topics.I found a way to do this via code in a script, but scripts have limitations and I have around 5k contacts and around 10-20 articles to search for. Ideally I would like to do this with formulas or linked records or something in the UI.Otherwise I'll just resort to Make.com.Let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas!Thanks,Stefano

I have two tables, one for active projects and one for completed projects. I want to move complete projects from the active projects table to the completed projects table. I don't mind doing it manually (the volume of weekly change is low), and I don't mind copying from active to complete and then deleting the record from the first table after I've successfully added it to the second table. But I cannot figure out how to do any of this, and searching the help info and community hasn't helped. All I've found so far is "copy record URL" which doesn't seem to be useful at all. I'm sure I'm just being dim here, but I need some step-by-step guidance on what to do here. TIA!

Hi, Is there a script that will generate a Unique ID for each image that would ideally be the concatenation of other fields like Initiative Name, Project Name, and then some random value?  While the image has a name, creating Asset ID's automatically would help organize and ensure we are working with the correct creative asset. 

Trying to build a Multi-series line charts. I found articles from 2022 announcing it as a feature in interfaces but can't find any information about how to do it. I’m following up on a previous solution ScottWorld provided for another user. I apologize if there’s a better way to link to the old closed post. Anyway, the goal is to Automate the END TIME based on START TIME, and DURATION. The formula Scott suggested was: DATEADD({Start Time}, {Duration}, ‘minutes’) When I put this Formula into the END TIME formula field exactly as is, and the DURATION field empty, the END TIME is automatically set to 5 hrs after the START TIME. When I enter “3:00” (3 hrs) into the DURATION field, the END TIME is automatically set to 7 Days and 20 Hrs later. Obviously, I’m misunderstanding something.

I'm setting up a new base and have been thinking through different ways to get to my end goal but I'm afraid I'm making it too complicated. I've searched but I'm not finding exactly what I'm trying to do. Here's my scenarioI have a table with a set of client addresses. I need to use this list as "options" on a form to include in the current months mail run. But I also need to be able to add new addresses. Currently I was planning on having a "base customers", "new customers" and then a "monthly" that pulls the information together by linking the records. My problem with that is I want one column that is street address but with linked records from two different tables they would be in two separate columns. Could I create a formula to combine table 1 street with table 2 street since there won't be addresses in both anyway? Or should I setup an automation that when a record matches certain criteria it makes a new record in the monthly table with the correct information? 

I want to set up various automations with reminders (slack messages) or updates for the team but not spam them with an overload of updates.So far I only found how I can trigger Slack messages for a certain trigger but I want to avoid sending a message for each trigger.How could I "collect" all messages for one user and only send them a slack update e.g. once per day/week, with every update this person was mentioned in or task status changes that are relevant for that person?Thank you very much 🙂 

HI there, I have a classic Order, Order Line items setup (i.e. One Order and multiple related line items). In our case the order of the linked line items is really important so I was wondering how I can sort linked records in the Interface designer. I tried using the Grid view of the linked record field, but that does not for some reason allow me to change the order. This prevents us unfortunately from using the Interface designer as my users have to be able to sort these items. Adding new linked records is also a pain as I can only achieve it with an extra field and an automation that picks up the selected record and adds it as a new line item. But that work-around would be ok. However the missing ability to sort linked records is crucial. Cheers, Konrad

I have built a table that lists the tasks, and one of the columns is for "Most Recent Update," where team members can enter a description of the current status of the task (e.g., Jon talked to Kathy, and they want to present it during the next meeting).Issue: I want to somehow automate the transfer of any new/edited text in this field to an ongoing list of all the previous "Most Recent Update" edits. In my head, this would be a bulleted list in another column that has a bullet added to it every time the "Most Recent Update" column for that task is updated. I don't want to just have a column with an ongoing bulleted list that folks edit as the interface version of this table needs to be user friendly, and I want to be able to show just the curre
