For the last 2 to 3 days, we have found Airtable almost unusable. Very slow and advanced functions won’t load at all. Any solutions appreciated

I want to start with the important fact that I do not know javascript so I need to be able to do this within the automations manager in Airtable. I have a simple base that has contacts with certain categories. I want Airtable to email me once a week with the names of any contacts still in that category.For example, John Smith and Wade Wilson might have "needs follow up" in the Status field. I would like Airtable to email me once a week to list out the people in "needs follow up" under Status. It can be an email that just lists their names. I have read the forums here and googled and I cant' figure out how to do that. 

Helo there, we have an online Online Language School, we use airtable as our database system.I have Student, Teachers and LessonPlan tables. LessonPlan has Student and Teacher pairs.We pay them for each lesson they taught monthly.  I would like to create a table called TeacherPayments to see Teacher-MonthYear pairs as below.How can I create this table so that I can see "HowManyLessons" calculated automatically each month?  

Very simple, but I couldn’t seem to find it anywhere. I have a “date contacted” date field, and a “follow up” date field. I want the “follow up” date field to automatically populate a date that is one week out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I'm working on a way to consolidate a base used for a diaper program. We're a nonprofit and need to track for many different reasons, but our current process is long and requires toggling from table to form to table. Here's what we're doing (all are in separate tables):Entering donation inventory via form (an individual count of diapers, wipes and formula)Receiving requests via formReviewing the requests and inventorying out the items via form (linked to step 1)Here's what I'd like to do:Inventory donations via form (needed because amount spent is required for tax purposes)Link the request and inventory out form to subtract from inventoried donationsIs it possible to deduct (2) items at once or do we have to inventory out each item to properly subtract?Essentially, all three tables would be linked together with the inventory out and request forms "combined" to avoid exiting the table w

I'd like to get a slack message whenever an automation run fails, but I don't see any native functionality for this. Has anyone found a workaround to get this done? Thanks!

I'm using the formula below to calculate the date difference between the day a position was opened to today (tracking number of days the position is open until filled). Is there a way to override that formula if the Position Status is listed as Filled or to make the formula only run on Positions with the status as Open. I don't want the running count of days once the job is filled, but don't want to lose the data point of the day it was opened.DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),({Open Date}), 'days')

Please could number formatting options be implemented? At minimum, I would expect to be able to set decimal places and use of thousands comma. Even better would be to add currency symbols.

Hello,I'm wanting to take the timesheets we built out in airtable and create a dashboard in the Interface Designer for each member of the team so they can see an overview of their time, over under etc.I can't for the life of me seem to find anyone having a template or having written about one - so basically if anyone has anything they can share - it would be much appreciated!

Hello! Looking for some help organizing a dataset that isn't importing from an Excel file as intended. As you can see in the picture below, the primary fields are spaced out, separated by extra rows made for each "Regulation" data point. For example, all the "Regulation" data points from "FDA Guidance 2001i" to "OECD GLP No. 13iii" should be merged into one multiple select field for the BAV 1.0 record. Similar for BAV 2.0, "21 CFR 320.29" and "FDA Guidance 2001" should not be split into two rows, but merged into the same "Regulation" multiple select field.Looking for a way to automate or at least quickly go through this data set merging these extra records. Hi there,I am trying to set up an OKR table in Airtable.  I have two tables in my workspace.  One for Key Results and one for Initiatives.  Under initiatives I have a column with tasks just check off as they occur.  Please see below.  How do I create a column with a formula that will calculate the % completed based on the check marks listed in the task column.  I have tried to create the formula with creating additional columns (total task count and total task count completed to calculate off of but that didn't work).  I used the "countall tasks" in the total task column and tried to create a formula in the total task count but it isn't working.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.     

Hi Airtable Community!I want to be able to send an email if 7 days has passed since they last received an email.I have set a date field in my database to be populated with today's date when an email is sent from my automations.I now want to create another field that includes a "1" if today's date is greater than 7 days, or "0" if not.I can then trigger future emails if a "1" is present in the field.I'm nearly there with this formula (see attached).IF(TODAY()-{Last Contact Date}>7,"1","0") Does anyone know what I'm missing please?Thanks,Gavin

I created a "lookup from another field" field, and set it up to pull 4 other fields from another table. It pulls the first field just fine, but then does NOT pull the other 3 for no apparent reason and it's driving me crazy haha. The field I'm using to test DOES have values in those 3 fields to pull, so that's not why. I don't get it. 

Hi Thanks for taking a look at this. This seems a simple question but I can’t work out the best approach. I want to be able to choose the country where a company is located. More specifically I want a user to be able to choose from a list of companies in a TypeForm and then connect the form to an AT table. Adding 200 countries to a single select field in AT seems not the right way to do it but putting them in a separate table means Typeform will not be able to send the data to AT. [Why do I say this: (1) because I can find no way to copy and paste a list of options into a AT Single Select field (2) the AT-Typeform integration is very pernickety in relation to exact match of options] Thanks

Hello! I am trying to figure out a way to link 1 column of records to multiple tables. For example, I have a master list of students on one table and have additional tables of info that I would like to link to the master list so that when I add or delete a student on the master list, it adds or deletes that record on all of the other tables. Is there a way to do this?

Hey all, so I'm working on creating a base that will be used to track multiple event registrations with a form that has option for the registrar to identify which event(s) they are attending. Once the form is submitted, automations will assign them to the event they said they would attend via. a check in grid.Currently, I have the email automation to send confirmation emails based off what they said they will attend, but I realized if someone plans to attend all five events, they will get a confirmation email for each event, that's potentially 5 different emails which isn't the most ideal.I'd like to concatenate the email automation, that will be based off the events they select. i.e., if they plan to attend Event 1, 3, and 5. A single email will be distributed, confirming they signed up for 1, 3 and 5—instead of 3 different emails for each event.I read around that this might involve creating a javascript but was hoping there is another w

Hi Airtable Community! I have a process that requires specific people to provide updates on the 15th of every month. I’m looking for an easy way to create a calendar that will trigger these emails automatically on the 15th of the month at 8 a.m. I’ve had some success with creating a calendar table and developing a formula that flips a field (when criteria met) to a new view that triggers email but the process is a little clunky and I haven’t been able to figure out how to send it at a certain time of day. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I created a table called Items (household items).  In Items, there is a partially filled-out field, PurchaseDate, that is some items have a PurchaseDate; other items don't have a Purchase Date (field is left blank).  I want to run a filter of those items with a blank PurchaseDate:  Is the best way to do this is to create a formula field, named noPurchDate: LEN(DATESTR({PurchaseDate))=0 such that if the PurchaseDate is not empty, noPurchDate returns FALSE, and if PurchaseDate is empty, then NoPurchDate returns TRUE? Is there an easier way to get this result? Another more "normalized" way of handling this might be to create a separate table, PurchasesWithDates linking Items to PurchasesWithDates.  How does one create a filter of Items with no link to PurchasesWithDates?

Hello,I'm having an issue with tasks. I have an automation adding a list of tasks from a 'tasks' template, which is triggered each time a new record is created.However, when I check off a task in record A, it also checks off the same task in record B, and in any subsequent records created. How can I stop this from happening - allowing me to check off each task individually per record, without affecting the other records?Thanks

Hello! I use Airtable for organizing my blog. Once arthile are ready, Airtable send an email to Wordpress (postie amazing plugin! ) for creating the next post.I woul dlike to automate the posting time. On my blog, I have 8 time slot per day, monday to Friday, so in total 40 new post per week.I would like that once I select a checkbox, an automation insert the publication data in the "pubblication Date" field according to the next available slot.I have tried creating a table with the available calendar (all the available time for the different time of the week) and a stack that increase by one, every time I select the checkbox, but unfortunatly I was not able to proceed further with automation.Does anybody have any idea on how to solve the problem with an easy and effetive solution (I think to use an automation is the right approach, but my coding capacity are almsot zero..)Thank you very much in advance to anybody would give me a suggestion on how

Hello, Airtable community!I am writing an extension and I want to change the background color of particular cells if they match condition.For example: There is a Price column and if the price is > 1000 I want this cell to have a red background.  I know there is a Color option on top of the table that do exactly the same. But I want to apply this rule to each table that come in this base for each number fields automatically. Thank you in advance!

I"m not sure if this is possible. I have a table EndOfMonthReports, which has a link to a list of ClientExpenses. I would like to send an email with the report, and attach ALL the pdfs of each client expense, to the email.  Also currently, the ClientExpense table has a field AttachmentPdf, and another one GoogleDriveLink.  The Pdf would include the actual file as an attachment, while the GoogleDriveLink, as it name implies - has a link to google drive.Ideally, the automation would attach all the EndofMonthReport > LinkedClientExpenses.AttachmentPdfs to the email, and also download all the GoogleDriveLinks and attach to the email as well.  Is this somehow possible in Airtable? Or maybe via Make?
