Hello I wanted to create a base that will auto populate Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, and so on for a number of date, Date is linked to another base which is synced to that base with a view.The purpose of this is we have a product that has a weekly interactive virtual sessions that isn't yet finished planned out so instead of putting titles of the event I wanted it to link to our content calendar where there'll be a list of week at that rage of dates and we can add records as we have.. if that makes sense. Thanks

I have a Multiple Select field that has several choices, like Camp, Membership, Donation. I want to create a Formula field that says Member or Nonmember. I know how to make an IF question for blank fields, but not for a specific Select from a field. I tried just IF(Field = “Member”), “Member”, “Nonmember”), but that doesn’t work. Thanks.

Hi, where do I find completed record when it disappeared in the table?

Y'all.  I'm losing my mind over here.  I've done other automations in the past, but I've spent 2+ hours on something simple, and still can't make it work!  I'm trying to outline a sequence of lessons for a course.  Each lesson has a Prerequisites column and a Follow-Ups column.  I simple want to create an automation that will do the following:When a record is updated in the follow-ups field,Update the records that are referenced as Follow-Ups (children) to reflect that the original record is a Prerequisite (Parent)Why is this so hard???

Entering and editing data in one logical form that is stored in multiple joined tables seems like such a common use case (e.g., contacts with addresses and phone numbers; invoices with company and line items; etc.).  Yet, this seems difficult (impractical at best) natively in AirTable.  How are people solving this?  Is the only solution really to pay $$$ for additional tools?  Or write complex scripts?Any thoughts/advice much appreciated!

I want to create a single compact form where the top half of the screen is a tabular view of my Contacts table records and the bottom half of the screen is a tabular view of my Activities table records. Any given Contact record selected in the top view is the filter criteria for Activities records displayed in the bottom view. I know how to create linked tables and fields, my question is how I create this classic (old school) parent-child DB browsing view? Thanks.

How do I share an entire table with multiple views? I don't want to share the entire base or a specific view. I want to share the table within the base, and it has multiple views. This prevents me from sharing an table of information, without having to share a link for each view.  The views I have designed make it easier to progress through helpful views of the information. There is no need for someone to get the entire base. And it makes no sense to give the person 10 view links for the same table of information, just presented differently.  It also is less helpful to provide all the views in an "everything view"; which defeats the point of using the views in the first place which is to highlight relevant information.  I don't want to have to create an interface either just to share a table.It is called Airtable, not Airview or Airbase. Why is it not more straightforward to share an entire table of views? Where can I find this feature? And if the f

I create some summary reports for a client. Data is read from a view I iterate through the records to generate the HTML/Markdown for the email.However, to get the formatting correct, I have to use this odd amalgamation of markdown and HTML. Using one or the other alone results in unpredictable results. When using markdown to create the 2nd or 3rd level header worked on the first record. Each subsequent record simply had the "## " in the email.Also, I can't use markdown or HTML to get a horizontal rule... annoying. Any answers for this. HELP! I am new to Airtable. I signed up... chose the lemonade stand template as a starting point, and set about my first base!   Task 1 was getting about 300 rows into the inventory table. My intent is to use this to build shopping lists for my deli. I have maybe 8 suppliers... added a column called "Category" to allow me to sort by things like Produce, Deli Meats, Beverages, etc.... Finally figured out how to import the data. Cleaned it up... and added all the categories.. Now the fun begins. I opened the app on my IPad and go to the inventory table and I see "Main View" and "Low Supply" as Views I can choose to look at the data on the ipad. I go back to the web interface, duplicate the Main View into a new view called "Shopping List" and a second called "Order List". Both of these have several filters and groupings. I also added one final column to the Inventory table called "Order" as a Yes / No check box. The workflow should look like open "SHop

I am receiving an error when testing a twitter automation. Trigger: record is created Action 1: find a record with conditions (character count=good, status =approved) Action 2: post tweet of only that record Error on action 2 test that twitter is missing the status parameter. I got a twitter automation to work the other day using similar steps, except that it was tweeting ALL records instead of just the most recent one. Hello everyone When I try to connect Twitter to Airtable it says: The account being added is already logged in. So when I log out of Twitter in my browser, it just logs me in a small window and it’s not really being added. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. Having some issues integrating airtable with Twitter. I know there is already something set up in Airtable to post Tweets but I don’t want to be limited with the attachment file sizes that are imposed. I would like to automate posts to Twitter so that they send out both when “Ready to Publish” (status field) and at a specific date and time (date field with time). I note that in the triggers, it allows for date but the most specific it gets is “today” and does not include the specific time. Will it still post at the correct time if the automation is running or is this not possible in Airtable yet?

Hello! Since Airtable has discontinued their native Twitter integration, I have been wrestling with trying to get a script to work within my automation that directly works with the V2 API from Twitter to post tweets within their limited free tier. Most examples on how to approach it with javascript seems to involved a couple of dependencies we can't use within the Scripting action, so I am curious if anyone has found a way to write a script that will work with the latest spec of the Twitter API V2?

I am creating a database to which hobby enthusiasts can contribute by filling out a form. Think of this database as a sort of wiki.I am using Airtable in conjunction with pory.io to display this database for access to the public.Since attachment space is limited, I was thinking about using external images. This is doable by making a URL field, then setting the image on pory to the URL field.The problem with this is each row of data can have many images. How do you provide images without having to create 10+ URL fields? My base is already a mess and I am currently trying to work on the best way to go about collecting and presenting data.Images are a vital part of this database, sort of how product images are vital for a product page.I was also trying to implement a tinypng script I found on the internet (for making file sizes smaller), but it deletes all but one image when it runs. Hello guys,My main concern is whether, after deleting a record in Airtable, its Record ID will be reused for any newly-created records in the future. Is there a way to jump directly to an interface page from the record currently selected in the data table.IE, when you select an interface, it displays the data from the currently selected record.

So I was able to write out a simple formula in a table to see what percentage of the people in that row participated out of the total number of people in the table, but I had to manually enter the total number of people - the formula looks like this - ({# of Participants}/433)*100 It works, but the issue is that every time we have more participants, I’ll need to update the 433 number. How can I get this to update automatically every time a new person is added to the total? Thanks!

I’m trying to setup a simple API but I’m not exactly sure what APIs to use. I want to check for a unique value in a field (userID) and return the RecordID. If recordID exists, overwrite record with new data If recordID doesn’t exist, create new record with data At the moment I’m stuck on 1. I’ve tried List Records, using filterbyFormula & the API Encoder tool, Retrieve a record, I just can’t get the single results returns like I’m after. Can someone please provide me with an example API request to for number 1? If you could help with the others that would also be really great but at the moment 1 is where I’m stuck. Hi all! I'm hoping someone may be able to help me! I'm trying to create calendar events in our Outlook 365 calendars from an automation on our base that include links and the ability to Markdown.But, hyperlinking is not working the way it works when you're just "sending an email" through automations and neither is any of the markdowns. Is there a work around for this? Or has anyone else been able to figure it out?
