Hey folks, I’m trying to figure something out.I’ve got an old CSV doc that I’ve integrated. Unfortunately, it’s a mess and I’m only a “enough to get by” kind of Airtable coder. I’m a bit stumped.So, I’m trying to make a formula that combines multiple cells to make a condensed long text field for mailing addresses (if possible). Unfortunately, many of these individual cells are empty and there are 562 lines of them. There’s no good rhyme or reason as to what is empty, either. Sometimes it’s address 1 and address 2, sometimes there’s a city and state and nothing else, sometimes all of the information is filled out, so making a straight hierarchal system like I’m more used to seeing doesn’t really work.Example:IF(address 1, <all the info>,   (IF(address 2, <address 2 down>,    (IF(address 3, <address 3  down>,)))Here’s my best effort at what I want to do:

We divide our base by years and create several bases. And with this new program, we can search through all the databases quickly and effectively.I share screenshot In the API, you can search multiple fields (in the example, we search through name and Linkedin link), and then, it shows in which base the API found the specific record (Of course, you can choose which fields you want to display.)What do you think if we commercialize the API? It seems that my plan was adjusted to a Team Plan, Monthly on June 25 and I was charged for the remainder of that month + the upcoming month. How can I search for a user in all airtable databases?

I'm astounded that Airtable doesn't support global search by default. Currently, I can find text within one base table only, not in all tables within a base, let alone all Airtable bases. I've seen that the Marketplace has a Search extension, which is absurd, paying $24/month to have the privilege to search your data within a database app. It's like charging an additional fee for including a steering wheel with a car. This question was asked by a user in September 2020: How can I search globally in all bases? Hello everyone! For export and invoice purposes, I think it would be nice to be able to inherit the filter from an interface to a detail page or at least within the detail page to the buttons (for exporting).Right now when Month Link is set on a specific month, the visible list is changed but the button in the same frame ignores it! Would be so great if it would recognise a filter or the dropdown elements!Does someone has a workaround? I want to make it as easy as possible for the back-office to export a month of choice. Thanks in advance! This is what the detail page looks like: 

In one of my first projects, I have a table with a multiselect field "names".Can I add a new column with some formula that shows the name that was last added or removed in the "names"-field ? (with automatic update for every change in that names-field) 

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can print the interface view? when I click to print the view has the wrong margins. I already tried to save the page in pdf but without success.

Something as simple as retrieving data from previous record and then mathematically operating this field (even within boundaries of cell) seems to take hours. If finding information or operating this platform is so difficult then whats the value.

We have created a Provider Directory on our website, and we got feedback requesting a map to accompany the list. We have created a "Sandbox base" where we're trying out the AirTable Map extension, but I'm wondering if there's a way to display the map *next to* the table on our website (or above or below but specifically *with* the table).I see that it doesn't embed, but is there a way for a developer to do it if we hired someone? Any other suggestions if not?(I already tried the other map extension called MapChart and confirmed theirs won't display externally at all.)Thanks!Erin

Maybe i am ignorant here, but i suggest a feature:  convert row into columns this means: what is on row 1 as a,b,c  will overwrite the name of the columns d,f,g as a,b,c  kind regards

I’ve been playing with Omni.  I asked it to merge two multi-select columns.  It created an AI field, which didn’t solve my needs.  I asked it to undo and it could not.  I can’t find one of the merge fields. I’m pretty sure I didn’t delete it.  Which makes me think Omni is not super safe in terms of preventing data loss.Maybe I am imagining things.  Has anyone else accidentally blown away data while using?Thanks!

In the airtable mobile app, I have gallery interface with dropdown filters.One of the filters is for assignments, which allows me to see tasks assigned to spesific users.However, when I check the assignment filter on the mobile app, I only see myself - other users dont appear. On the desktop version, it work correctly.Why is that?

Hi, I’m fairly new to airtable and having a hard time setting up what I think should be a relatively simple base. I have a staff of about 40 individuals. They only have access to the share views of two of my bases, if that is relevant (so anything they do on airtable has to go through forms). The 40 staff are each assigned between 1 and 4 shifts a week. Each day is divided into 4 shifts of 6 hours, so we have 28 shifts per week. The number of staff members assigned to a given shift varies. Right now I just have a base with two tables: staff names and shifts (listed as mondayshift1, mondayshift 2, etc.). Staff members fill out a form and select their shifts so that the resulting tables fill in. What I would like is a way to track attendance and then later, set up automations (for emails) if someone misses a shift. I was thinking I would create a form for them to fill out when they clock out, with name, shift, and then one optional question

I have been trying to help my son (13) start up his lawn care business.  I'm familiar with, and use airtable regularly for some small tracking.  I love its accessibility, range, and adaptability.  Thought it would be a good fit.  Created an easy to use base with services available (with fees) table, service provided and dates table, and client table.  Then created an invoice table that he can simply add the services provided to certain customers from the "services provided" table.  Works flawlessly.  He has grown the business and uses written invoicing.  Tried to help him save a step by automating the invoice so he could send it as a text to the clients each month.  Page designer creates the invoice.  Is there a way to send the invoice created as a text or email to an email in the invoice? To sum it up, use page designer to create a document.  Send the document via text or email.  Solution needs to be sim

We used to be able to select a photo size option ie: small, medium, large when uploading photos from the iOS AirTable Mobile app. Now it doesn’t seem to offer the option and forcing you to upload much larger than needed photos and wasting my data. As a future feature request, would anyone else benefit from the preview links for URLs being more personalised?I send out a lot of forms via email to people in my network, but often when they're in the field they contact me and ask me to send the link by text... When I do, the links just show up with the generic Airtable preview.Because we have so many forms, there is no way for the individual to identify which of the links in their messages is the correct one. See attached image of how they appear in a SMS exchange.It would be great if instead of "Everyone's app platform" it would have the name of the form, or the view that was being shared in the link.If it also had the base icon instead of the airtable/blue/laptop icon, that would be a bonus.

In my workspace, when I hover over a base it either says “open data” or “open interface”Does anyone know when it will make “open data” the behavior or “open interface” the behavior. It seems kind of random to me. Just curious.

I want to send different people emails containing a link to a form that they can only submit once. Once submitted, if they click the form link to the form again, they wouldn’t be able to do another submission. How do I do this? Ideally, the form would be tied to a record in airtable, and if the status column of the record is no longer “new” and transitioned to “progress” or “finished”, the form would no longer work.

I'm wondering if there is a way to restrict a date field to a range of dates. We have a base that grants people access to our website. In order to get access, they need to fill out a form saying how long they need access for, but we want to restrict it to dates that are 1 or two months from now so they don't put 2025 or something ridiculously far away. Does anyone know how I could accomplish this? Thanks!

Hi, I need an attendance tracker for nonprofit organization that organizes different extracurricular activities throughout the year. I'm working on a generic form that the coordinators of each activity would use to report the activity, time, description/impact, and attendance. The attendance is linked to a table that compiles the beneficiaries of the different activities that are run by the Non-profit. We already have some beneficiaries or previous participants in this table and so some of the attendees are already in our records, but when we have new attendees, I would like to be able to generate a new record from a form. I am able to add a new record in the grid view, but not in the Form. I have already tried to use the link to the form, not the form builder view and it was still not allowing me to add a new record. Is this even possible? or am I missing something? The objective is to be able to have a beneficiary registry or a complete list of beneficiarie

Hello, I seem to be running into a problem where I can't get my automation to uncheck a checked box when certain conditions are met in a linked table.
