Hello everyone 👋I've been working with airtable for years as a consultant and user, but have never been active in the community - that's about to change. I'm super interested in anything to do with airtable and emails as I keep seeing a few challenges: The challenge of receiving and tracking email responses. Replies to emails sent via Airtable end up in the void instead of the shared inbox Record limits quickly become a problem when saving emails as records Threading issue when parsing emails and creating records in AirtableAs I'm thinking of clever ways to solve these problems, I'm eager to hear feedback from the community.  If you've worked on something like this before, use airtable + emails frequently, or have any of the above issues, please let me know!

The app doesn’t retain login. I login into the app as normal,  go through the bases etc.. no problem. After close it by swiping the app (so it’s still running) or by terminating it, when restarting, the app asks me to login again. I just submitted another issue with Airtable app crashing on uploading images so this seems a separate issue with this current version.Submitted ticket for both issues but I am wondering if anybody else experiencing this. I live in the mobile all so this is quite a problem for me. In the meantime I need to create a Fillout form to be able to update Airtable records.  

Hi,i’m trying to create an Interface → Dashbord.Got the pivot table. I set option: “Click to see underlying records”, bo absolutely i don't know how to edit what info is shown in this list (i don’t mean “Click into record details” - detailed info is working fine).I would be gamechanging option for me, but i need to set different info on this list to correctly and fast identify entries.  

Hi,I am importing raw data periodically, let’s say monthly.Every import includes a data field with the date of import.Given the repetitive imports, the key differentiator (let's say Supplier ID) is repeating.I added a locked view where I filter by import date.=> I now want to analyse the data for two of the imports, e.g., 1. January and 1. June and see if any supplier was added or removed and what data in a specific field (e.g. performance) has changed. The closest I got was partly manual and didn't work: I copied and pasted all Supplier IDs from both import dates into Excel and then removed duplicates.In a new table with auto number index, I added that list into two linked Supplier ID fields, and each of the fields linked to the views 1. Jan und 1. June. Then, I added two look-up fields for the performance of each date.My goal was to have a list showing either the relevant performance per different date fields or blanks if newly created or deleted suppliers.Unfortunately, both perf

I’m using a 2 level hierarchy. I added color based on a condition but its acting on the child records, not the parent records. Is there any way to do this?

Bonsoir la Communauté, voilà mon problème : dans ma table “Membre” j’ai le champ (type Date) = Date_Naissance et le champ (type formule : DATETIME_PARSE(DATESTR(DATEADD(DATETIME_PARSE(DAY(Date_Naissance) & "/" & MONTH(Date_Naissance) & "/" & YEAR(TODAY()), "DD/MM/YYYY"), 0, "days")),"YYYY-MM-DD") ) qui me calcule le jour de l’anniversaire du membre.Jusque là tout va super bien, cela fonctionne très bien.Maintenant je veux créer une automatisation qui dit : quand un membre fête son anniversaire on envoie un mail.J’ai également le champ “Mail” (type Email) dans ma table. Je choisis :Automatisation personnalisée et au test tout est ok Le problème vient du mail :  J’avoue que je suis perdue là et votre aide me serait bien précieuse.Merci la communauté !!

 We are not using Comments and instead developed a separate “Updates” for team members to make updates to projects. We want the ability for users to “tag people” but looking for a way for those people to get an email or Slack notification. Any thoughts how to do this?

How can a newb find his webhook url so i can have vapi communicate with airtable -   i have this set up in another account and copying all to a new client account - and i can not rember how I got the url to add to vapi?  halp if you can

Hi,In my Airtable, I have a simple Work Order app, connected to Softr.My tables are: Owners, Units, Work Orders. All 3 tables are linked.I would like to automate (autofill?)  “Owner’s Name Surname” in Work Orders  tableWhen a user chooses an Unit (like in WO 6),  Owner’s Name Surname  should be automatically filled (in WO 6 -  “John Doe”).(I can rearrange  Owners  table, and make   Owner’s email   as primary field, if that will help)I have tried different Automations, but I couldn’t make it. Thank you very much. 

I just tried out automating sending some emails with Airtable. Is there a way to remove the Airtable branding? The „via Airtable“ in the from field, as well as the „Sent via Automations on Airtable“ at the bottom? Thanks!

Hi all,I have a very strange behaviour with Airtable attachments together with make.comIn a loop in make,com, I create 4 images using FLUX.  I upload the generated images using "Create a record" module together with some other data (attachment column type) The images are correctly uploaded to the Airtable. Later in the same scenario I use the “Search records” module in order to retrieve the 4 rows with the images The rows and data are retrieved correctly but in *some* cases (this can’t be reproduced) the returned data for one of the images  contains only the ID and the original URL (that I used to upload the image) instead of the Airtable data with the airtable URL and the thumbnails, etc..See the screenshots:The first one shows the Create Record and the circled field contains the URL for the upload The second shows the wrong result for one image (yellow) and the correct result for another (green) The thirds shows the output bundles which make it obvious that there’s a difference.Any i

I used to have a “cool” username, now it changed and there’s no way to change it even though I was/am a rank of “5-Automation Innovator”. IT says you have to be above rank 3- Contributor level 3. Then I should be able to navigate to : Settings>Personal>username to change it but it does not exist in settings?

Have built 4 tables to collect inventory information on our fire department’s truck inventory.Tables:cabinets i.e. E-211 Cab. #1 items i.e. 2 1/2” Brass Male to Male Coupler inventory: list and # of item in each cabinet archive inventory: because the governing body wants it.I am trying to create this using Interfaces. What I am trying to do is use a Record Review template that has the cabinets in the left pane and the inventory items for each cabinet in the right pane. I have been successful in that. I have a working Inventory Interface page. The item list is complete (2,501 items). The Cabinet list is complete (65 cabinets).Truck Captains will use an iPad to open Airtable to the Inventory interface and choose one of the truck/cabinets they are responsible for from the left hand list and check off the inventory items they find. Hello, Currently I have a date field called Date, I would like to make a formula that looks at this date and outputs the first Tuesday of the previous month.Example{date} - Shows March 13, 2025Formula - Should show February 4, 2025 (First Tuesday of Previous Month)I was able to find the 1st date of the previous month utilizing this, but I cannot seem to figure out how to get the first Tuesday. DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD(DATEADD({Date}, -1, 'month'), -(DAY({Date}) - 1), 'days'),"MM/DD/YYYY") 

The view that this embed is looking at is filtered correctly- when i open the view in AT, it should the exact dates. We have a form in Airtable for our app's affiliate program. When users search Google for "Airtable affiliate," our form appears as the top result.Although our form isn't related to Airtable's affiliate program, people don't read carefully and we are getting unrelated and confused applicants daily...I think updating the SEO meta title and description would reduce irrelevant clicks. Hi,I have a content management system in Airtable where I could use some automation support. I am attempting to use the new Airtable AI, but it just won't work the way I want it. What I want to do is:Request a new record (requests new content using a form) to be created, it currently creates a Google Doc with the record details on it and changes the status to "assign to writer"I want to have it where if I assign the writer as "AI" it submits the record details to AI (with a detailed prompt I created).Writes the content and places that content on the Google Doc.I have it producing the AI generated content within Airtable using the prompt but can't get it to add that content to the Google Doc and update the database field to "For Review". I don't want to use Zapier/Make if I can help it.Has anyone had success with this or have an idea, and would you mind sharing a shot of your automation? Thank you. 

Hello, I have a base that has a Campaigns and Deliverables table. There is one Campaign which could have many deliverables. Each deliverable could have one owner. We want the Campaigns table to have a lookup that shows all of the owners for the deliverables. Unfortunately, if someone has multiple deliverables they own it reports their campaign twice in the lookup column. Is there a way to dedupe or only show the owners name once versus the same name multiple times? Thanks, Victor

Hi all, New to AirTable and have been trying to create a grid where one of the columns needs to be linked to a different record on a row-to-row basis. I have been able to link one record in the column but have found it difficult to add a 2nd record for the next row. Is it even possible to do this in AirTable?For example:Row 1 - Column A Links to one record  Row 2     Column A links to a second record Hope this information is clear, happy to try and clarify if it would be helpful. Hello, I have a base tab with all of my company’s stakeholders and builded an interface for people to create a new contact. What is the best way to prevent people from creating a new contact through the interface and the associated form if this email already is in base ? Thanks a lot for your help

I’m having an issue with two-way syncs in Airtable.I have a Source-A table in a Base 1, which is synced to Base 2. In Base 2, the Target-A table is linked to a B table.The problem arises when I want to remove duplicates in Source-A: I have no way of seeing whether one of the duplicates is linked to a record in B in Base 2. If I merge duplicates and delete the one that is linked to a record in B, the connection between Target-A and B is lost.How can I prevent this loss of links?I tried using the Dedupe extension on the Target-A table, but I got an error saying I don’t have the necessary permissions.I understand that if Source-A is synced to multiple bases, removing duplicates can be problematic because additional data entered in Target tables isn’t reflected in Source-A.Is there a better way to handle this situation?
