Hello appreciate the community’s help here. I am uploading a CSV file on a weekly basis (the data is from application form submissions on google form). So every week I am getting new applications in. I uploaded last week matched the fields and all was good. I even started reviewing and syncing some applications on the airtable base. I had 10 applications last week. This week I got 17 more. So I downloaded CSV file (business as usual). I went to airtable and uploaded and suddenly i realize it created 27 new records. I proceed and on the base I find 10 old records + 17 new records (out of which 10 are duplicates from the old upload). How can I prevent this from happening, appreciate your support.

We are using Airtable to organise our plant nursery. We need it to track the stock of plants in the nursery and match to orders etc. Its a bit different to normal stock tracking where we might track "current stock" by adding to stock when we get in stock and subtracting as orders go out because we have to grow the plants from seed and there are often plants dying, not being good quality etc. So we often have to go out and count the actual plants in good condition on the tables to get an accurate idea of stock count. But we also want to be able to subtract from the stock count automatically as stock is sent out. So we have a conflict between what we want to enter as our current stock levels - if we have a calculation in the current stock field - auto subtracting deliveries - we can't simply type in a number when we do a manual stock count. Any suggestions on how to resolve this ?

Hi!I’m writing a script that will create a QR code that you can scan to open a record. It works to open in the data view without issue. But I need to have it go to an Interface.If I open an interface on the desktop browser then right click on a record, then click on "copy device URL", that URL will work on the iPhone. I can paste that URL into a note and when I click it, it opens the Airtable app and goes directly to the record in the Interface. Exactly what I want.The catch is, that URL has a bunch of extra base64 encoded stuff. I can’t figure out how to get the elementId , queryContainerId , and savedFilterSetId. Using this partly redacted URL for example:

HI there - I’m about to pull my hair out and have been trying to figure this automation out for several hours now. I have a table called “Field Enrollment” where I am tracking “Producers” with their unique farm #, tract #, and field #. I have a concatenate formula to give me “Farm Key” which is Producer & Farm. I have a second table called “Producer Enrollment” that I want to be auto populated by the Farm Key. However, there are cases like in my example where there are duplicate Farm Keys and I only want the one. (A bit more context: In Field Enrollment we are required to track data related to the unique Farm/Tract/Field. In Producer Enrollment, we are required to track other types of data related to the TOTAL farm, so essentially a roll -up from Field Enrollment.) How do I create the unique record?!   Example Field Enrollment table:

Hello everyone, Here is a weird behavior I would like to understand…On one of my computer (and only one), when I validate text in a cell of my text column (when I press enter or change cell after writting something), Airtable sometimes modify some words of the content arbitrarily… Here is a true exemple “remportent” automatically transforms into “représentent” in the next sentence, which often change the meaning of the sentence (and being a journal it’s compromising). Exemple : Les Auvergnats remportent le match contre le LOU.Automatically becomes : Les Auvergnats représentent le match contre le LOU.  Here is my text field :

Hi all, I am copying over historical data into a new Airtable system and I am using the following formula for calculating the number of days taken to complete a task IF(  OR({Date Completed}, {Date Completed Override}),  WORKDAY_DIFF(    IF({Start Date Actual Override}, {Start Date Actual Override}, {Start Date Actual}),    IF({Date Completed Override}, {Date Completed Override}, {Date Completed})  ),  BLANK())It works just as intended, it counts the number of workdays to complete a task, using the default field unless an override date is being used.However, there are one or two results that are just way off. Hello, I’m trying to add a link to my automation, but nothing appears when I add the field even when using parenthesis. Could the fact that the url field/column is a formula link be the reason why the link does not appear in the automation? Left is the column/url i’d like to pull in & the right window is the automation I am trying to set up. tyia!

Hi, for a given record, I have data attached to linked records of linked records that I’d like to lookup. I remember this was really easy to do in FileMaker, but I can’t seem to find a way to do this in Airtable, unless I add lookup fields in each table? Any idea/solution would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I ran into a strange problem in an automation.I am using a script to gather some data from two tables and combine it into a rich-text field. In the next step, I send out an e-mail with the content of this field. Turns out the e-mail is sent before the script has updated the text field!Even adding a 3 second delay in the script does not solve the issue.Curious if someone has a solution in place?Thank you!

Hey guys,Is there any plans to make it so that when someone copies a base from a public share link, that the automations also get copied across?I create a bunch of systems and templates for people to try and get them in to using Airtable but this is big limitation when it comes to offering these types of solutions as the automations are really a big part of any system.Is this going to be possible at any point or is there a good workaround at all?

Hi all,Have been scouring the web, AirTable support and various AI platforms to get an answer to this, but no joy so far. I am trying to set up automation to sync changes between Google Calendar and Airtable, including updates and deletions. AirTable support instructed me to set up triggers for new events, updated events and cancelled events. I am doing this on an empty table at the moment just to test it out. However, I am hitting a bit of a brick wall with the Updated Events automation. I believe I have the Find records action set up OK, see screenshot below (although when I test the step at that stage, it says Found 0 Records but I guess this is because the table is empty currently...)My sc

Hello.My time zone is Israel.I defined the time zone of Israel in the Date and Time field. But when I run formulas or automation on it, it refers to the registered time, as if it were GMT/UTC and this disrupts all my automations.Is there a solution for this?

Bear with me, I’m not sure how to explain all this, so I’ll start with my use case scenario and end with my current setup so far.I’m trying to create a file folder/mail merge printing system for genealogy & correspondence names. The problem I’m trying to resolve is having to copy and paste information over and over into label templates, whenever file folder or mailing labels need to be fixed, reprinted, or duplicated.Currently, I have to copy and paste from within each name or address cell in my spreadsheet. Even if I rearrange the spreadsheet to display vertical columns rather than long rows of cells, a full copy/paste of multiple cells shows mini tables inside the label borders, instead of formatted text columns. It’s exhausting. So the urge is to save the label sheet for when new labels need to be printed as replacements, edits, or extra file folders or envelopes. I have an automation set up with an Outlook email action that runs into errors after sending 25 emails successfully. When I run it at least 24 hours later, it will send another 25 emails. However I keep having to push the rest of the records that need emails sent to the following day. What is the term for this specific limit I’m running into with Outlook’s integration? Is there a way around it or to disable it?

Hello,Quite simple question : today when you mention a user with “@person” in a comment or a note, he/she gets notified by email. Is there a way to route these notifications in Google Chat, Slack or MS Teams ? I’d like to avoid kludge solution like creating a Zap or Make that watches over the mailbox and transform an email received into a chat message, this should flow directly from airtable to one of those 3 solutions, like a setting in the user specific parameters. 

In Interface, I create a grouping of my data based on warehouses. That works.The warehouse names appear as their own defined sections, great! Why in the world do I have to see the field name above every single group in my page??1-It’s the same (useless) information over and over2-It’s ugly Is there a way to just remove the grouping title? We can remove grouping record sums! Why not the title?  In this example I would remove the POSO WAREHOUSE text.(My fallback is to edit this for something like an Emoji or whatever, but I’d rather have nothing appear). Thanks so much folks!  

Hi, A few our users are starting to see an error on the interface for a graph. The graph is replaced by the error 'Cannot access this data' Nothing has changed and this can be seen with anyone with database access as far as I can tell. Anyone have a solutions?     

Hey guys, probably an easy thing to do but I want to name an entry according to the right “quarter candidate” field without having to create a super long “IF” formula (I want to update this table without having to update the formula everytime I add a new quarter candidate to the list)My goal : in an other base each new entry have the current date added to it, according to this date, I want to have a field with the right quarter candidate because the date is after the “input start date” and before the “Input end date” Thanks for your help !   

Hi everyone,I recently subscribed to the $120/month plan on Airtable to use the "Invite Interface Users" feature, with the goal of building a secure client portal.🔍 What I’m trying to achieve:I’d like each of my clients to access only their own project status and files (like contracts, invoices, etc.) through a personal and secure interface, without being able to see any data related to other clients.🚨 The problem I’m facing:After subscribing and setting up the interface, I noticed that: When sharing via a public link or inviting users as guests, they can still navigate across all records within the interface. There doesn’t seem to be a way to dynamically filter content per user, which means clients can potentially see information that’s not meant for them.

Hi everyone!I have created an interface to keep me organized, and one thing I would like to add is a table that would function like the data side, just within the Interface. For my specific example, I have various groups I invite to events, and it would be helpful to have a table with the group name, group contact, and then a checkbox for when I’ve contacted them. My interface is a “Record Review” interface.Does anyone know how I can achieve this? Any help is appreciated!
