How do i filter records with same tag (like status = ‘Active’ in a multi-select column) inside the multiple tables ( within the same base ) ? I want to see the filtered records in another view maybe ?

I set up automations for my team so that the next person in the workflow gets notified when the previous step in the process has been completed. However, since I set up the automations, they all come from my Teams account. Is there a way to change this so that the person who enables the automation “sends” the message? 

HI guys, I’m trying to use the Concatenate function to help with my primary field names, but the date I’m pulling in from a ‘date’ field is a little messy. Here’s my formula... CONCATENATE(Client," ",'|'," ",{Month Date}," ",'|'," ",{Record Type}) And this is what comes back…Crystal Maze | 2025-09-01T00:00:00.000Z | Income - Forecast Is there a way of amending the date format within the concatenation formula?  Ideally it would look something like this…Crystal Maze | Jul-25 | Income - Forecast Many thanks in advance!

This automation is designed to automatically update two fields of a newly created record submitted via form. Neither of the fields being updated by the automation is "Formula Name", which is the field that appears to be causing the failure. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?

I have several automations set up to send emails through gmail based on certain conditions (dates coming up, status changes, etc.). They have been working like a charm until yesterday! 2 different gmail accounts should have automatically sent 200 or so emails each. 1 gmail address seems to have worked fine. The other sent maybe 5 or 6 of the emails but not the rest. However, the automation log shows all 200 were successful. I know they didn’t actually send because I have the emails BCC myself, to ensure they show up in my gmail account. Now when I am testing the automations, no emails are sending, even from the address that worked yesterday. I tried relinking the google accounts to airtable. No dice! Any ideas??

Hello everyone,Any clarity or information on this time and date issue would be awesome!I have 2 tables which are linked through a record. In each table, I have a formula field which produces a date. I need the dates to match. Unfortunately, the formulas are not the same. One is based on a date field in the first table and is a dateadd formula. In the second table, it is a createdtime formula. On the first day of operations, the date is submitted through a form to the date field in the first table. The formula field in the first table adds one day to this date so that process which happen on the second day are kept track of. In the second table which keeps track of the processes which happen on the second day of operations, I have the createdtime field. I need this field to match the dateadd field so that I can automatically link the records. However, something is happening with the formulas such that they are not the same day when I want them to be. Does anyone know ho

 I am looking for the best way to set up an Airtable to keep track of a lot of book publishing details with minimal repetitive data entry and as human proof as possible. I’m on the free plan.  The situation:I have several book series (Power of Five, Dragons, Talonswood, Trident, Draken). Each book series has multiple books. Each book can be published in multiple formats (ebook, paperback, hardback, discrete paperback, discrete hardback). Each book is being translated into multiple languages (English, German, French, Italian). After translation, each book, in each format, needs to be uploaded to several platforms (KDP, Kobo, Ingram, Tolino, D2D). Not all books get uploaded to all platforms. For example, English language books don’t get uploaded to Tolino.  I need to somehow keep track of this mess so me and my assistant know what’s been done and what hasn’t. Also would be good to keep track of an error log so we know what’s needs to be fixed.

Example:Switch ( {field 1}“Choice 1”, ‘1’,“Choice 2”,  ‘2’)The output of this is a text value of 1 or 2 not a numeric value. Hi friends! I work for a cleaning company and we are trying to find a better way to manage our cleaning supply inventory better. We currently have a complicated situation where our cleaners need to notify us when they need cleaning supplies, we then move it to a master list, and then onto a distribution list. Cleaners often will forget to ask for a product and are in need of something so they’ll ask to grab something the day of. This always messes with our ordering process as sometimes it will be so busy when they come in, we forget to mark it down and we’ll run out of products faster than expected. Wondering if there is a way through airtable to scan the barcode and have it automatically subtract one from the master inventory.

I am hoping to use a cutdown “form” or interface designer method to enable stocktakes of our database items via mobile phone and the airtable app. I have created an interface with a barcode field to be used as a key to all the items and an associated display of the fields for each record that can be changed - location, number of items etc. As others have mentioned I was surprised ot see that sharing the interface also shares the entire base but this doesn’t worry me as its only for internal use. When I look at the barcode field for the base/table on the phone app, I can see the camera/scan option and can scan in a barcode. But when I launch the interface and see the barcode field, I can’t see a camera option. If I select the barcode field it just shows a screen keyboard and I can’t see how to enable the camera. I want to use the camera/barcode to find the item in a record list then manually enter the associated data. Also there doesn’t see to be a way to access the interface fro

From this URL Webhooks table changed webhook suppose to send notification for below actionsdestroyedFieldIds createdFieldsById changedFieldsByIdI have added sufficient scope permission to my webhook to get these triggers payload. When I create new field proving type and description I am not receiving response via webhook. Where as if I add new record entry to that field on Airtable web ui then I get notification in changedRecordsByIdCan anyone check if these are working functionality in webhook. Thank you

Hi, each record in my table has an email address {email} and photo {photo}. For each record, I’d like to send the record’s photo to the record’s email address. Is there a way to do this using SendGrid? I’ve tried turning on “Send as HTML” and doing <img src="{photo}"> but doesn’t work as {photo} is replaced by “filename (url-to-file)” when I only want url-to-file.

I set up an interface for reviewing and managing customer credit limits and I can’t figure out how to set a field to display with the numbers right-aligned.It would look so much better and be more readable with the currency values right-aligned the way they should be! 

Hi dear folks, I want to ask a solution suggestion on Barcode solution that our company is trying to build the inventory list which we want each item has its own barcode (any code type including QR), and we can scan it and locating its place. I would want to ask: 1). which is the best barcode generation system? anything can be better integrated to airtable? 2). which scanner we should purchase? or just using our iphone? thanks for your answering.

Hi there 🙂I have a base for keeping track of inventory for a warehouse. I'm using barcodes. I have a home table that gives an overview and stock count. There's also a table that logs every movement (in and out of items). I add a movement to the log by linking to the home table stock item that's identified by its barcode. On my phone, I can search for the item I need to link to by using my camera to scan it's actual barcode but this isn't possible with all devices. All I need to know is which tablets are able to do this as well. I'm struggling to figure this out as I need to get a tablet for my warehouse that's able to do what my phone can (without having to purchase an ipad because they're too expensive). Could someone please advise me on more affordable tablets that are able to do this? 

Hi For some reason when I try to fill-out a form, when I scan a barcode, the form does not recognize it.  I scan a barcode that reads LE100 and it will just give me the first item that's embedded in the form. And this does not happen when I use the form in the edit view nor does it happen on any other base or view. Only on the actual form does it not work correctly. The scanner works, I tried filling out the form on different computers, I refreshed the form or exit it out and open another one. We have been using the scanner for almost a year now and it worked so I have no idea why all of a sudden it's not working now. I have no idea what could possible be wrong and would like help. 

I have an existing list of barcode numbers in my base.  I need to be able to scan a stack of corresponding barcodes and have Airtable check off that barcode so that I know the barcode from the list was matched with the scanned barcodes.  Is there a way to create this in Airtable?

We utilize Airtable to keep record of barcoded assets located at 10 different locations. When we do a physical inventory we have to manually search the item by barcode number and use the checkbox field to check that it has been inventoried.  I'm looking for a way to set an automation to simply scan a barcode the item being inventoried and using automation Airtable will find the record and update the checkbox field.

Please have pity on an absolute newbie. I have been tasked with creating an inventory control system for a community theatre’s extensive prop inventory. What I would like to do is create barcodes for each item, and then devise a simple way to check them in and out. I am confused by the airtable app barcode function - it appears to allow me to scan barcodes only when creating records. Can I use it to scan the actual item in the warehouse and pull up the existing record? In a perfect world, our users would be able to go to the warehouse, pull out half a dozen items, scan them and have the inventory location move from it’s designated shelf to a “checked out to:______________” status.
