Gents, do you know how to connect the Airtable db with Telegram bot?

So CSV has proven to be a problem for me. I downloaded a CSV file from Homebase, the database my dad used before either of us had ever heard of Airtable, and his product description cells were separated out because of all the commas within. How do I prevent that from happening with Airtable? I’m currently combing through my dad’s 50,000+ records to cut-and-paste clauses back into their origin cells and it is a complete nightmare. It’s not something I can do every time I download a CSV file from Airtable. Please, oh please, tell me there’s a way to avoid getting cells separated out because they’re long text fields with product descriptions that include commas. :fearful:

Hi I am extremely confused by Airtables Linked records and dependencies. Former Access User - I am used to the process of a query design where one takes two tables, identify the matched field on both tables and then having the ability to create a new table with the records from both tables or update one table based on that field relationship. In airtable I can’t see to find a way to do this.I keep creating a linked record in airtable from one table to another and it’s empty.. if I make a lookup field up it wants me to add things but I have the data in both tables I just need to manipulate. I have watched and read airtable instructions over and over and it’s not clicking!! 

Hello,I am having trouble getting a script to automatically generate records from two lists: bonus plan and staff list into “bonustable”. I was able to set up the automation steps to find the corresponding lists from the bonus plan and staff list. I have tried AI to get the script but it is not iterating each item from the input list. Hi,Which Language setting should be used to paste formulas, i mean here:  Several times I wanted to ask it on old forum engine, but then just selected ‘Javascript’ and postponed it until next time. Here it looks not so good, so maybe I’m just missing a better way to do it?Well, in my opinion, the Javascript was better in old forum as well, here it’s too much red, while red supposed to be warning/error color. I’m working on a voting app, where there are tons of enhancements. There’s a ‘Votes’ field which is of type ‘User.’ Users can add their names to that field in order to vote for that enhancement. This is based on a simple, single table.I want to have an interface page that lists enhancements that have gotten votes, sorted by the number of votes each has gotten. So if I add my name to that Users-type field, the number of votes for that enhancement goes up by one, and the sorted list of enhancements by number of votes gets appropriately updated.I thought I could just do a calculated field with this formula: COUNTALL({Votes})However, that’s giving me a value of one (1) for each record, even though right now most fields have no entries and a few have 2 or three.I’ve only done pretty bas

I am struggling with the last stage of an automation and keep getting a message that it's received invalid inputs but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm a Literary Agent and have a Titles table, an Authors table and an Editors Table.When I'm working on a book and chat to an editor about it I have a section in the title field where I can add a link to an editor who wants to see that book and it will create a new entry in my submission tracker that is named 'Title - Editor' so that when I come to do my submission I have a full list of who I've spoken to in the right place. I use Airtable as a logbook for the vehicle (TABLE1). Each row = one trip. I would like to use automation to send myself an email when an oil change is due. So I need to total the miles driven (from TABLE1) and compare that to when the oil change is due, which should be placed in another table (TABLE2).Is it possible to create one record in TAB2 that still shows the current SUM column from TAB1 (same number as in the summary bar)?I don't want to use a rollup that has to be manually updated each time.

I built a project management tool using softr as the UI. I am looking to build an airtable automation that sends and email upon various triggers with the airtable data. The triggers seem to work fine, I am having trouble pulling in the data I need from related records in other tables. The data structure in this example would be:Project Table - has a field containing project members. I have a database of contacts and I would like to keep a record of the activities or meetings in which they participate (I don't know if in each activity I should adjust the form for this action). But it would only be to add this new column, not to create duplicates of people each time they attend an activity. Thanksss!!!

Airtable has how to autocomplete fields in a form, that is to say that through a unique key it preloads data already existing in the database that are requested in the form.

Hi all - a weird thing is happening with this automation. On the table, I have a view sorted on a particular manager, employee type and status, resulting in 72 records - which is correct. When I set up an automation, I need an email sent to a particular email address that includes that table view (in either a list or grid) in the body of the email, which I’ve built and it works - apart from the resulting email that is created only contains the first 10 records, not all 72. And I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why it’s doing that. I understand the preview is limited to just 10, but I am getting this result if I run the automation from start to finish. In the Find Records, I’ve tested both Condition and View and redid the automation and I get the same result. It’s not wrong, as the 10 records it’s showing are indeed in that table, but it’s only the first 10, I need all 72. Any suggestions? I’m getting desperate lol. 

Hi,I’m experimenting with the RLP with DNA 2023 Airtable template.  I’m trying to personalize the column headings and can’t figure out how to do what I want after reading the Airtable help.  Can someone please tell me the following?  It's really a general question about copying/pasting a column field from one tab to another.I made a new field called “My Tree” and inserted it on the DNA Match Details tab.  But, now how do I insert that same “My Tree” column on the Kit Access tab?Thanks! 

I'm trying to send a formatted HTML via gmail and it comes out as junk. In particular, a properly fomatted <table> set of tags appears to have </table> inserted right after the <table> tag, messing up the output. How do I edit what date this filter defaults to? It's been the same default since I originally built the dashboard, but I would prefer to be able to edit this.  

Hello everyone, I’m having some trouble with the field order. As much as I move the field order in my grid view, when I click on manage fields, they appear in another order… I wouldn’t mind but the problem is when I send automatic emails with list views of fields it does not display the fields in the order that I need to. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance Patrick

As we can see in this graph Airtable Interface is not interpreting the numbers in an ascending order. It seems to only look at the first digit. I've tried to fix this issue in many different ways, but no luck.I need the graph to start in September and end in August (our FY)

Hi Airtable Community, I have created an interface with a dashboard. There, budget amounts are given as a number based on our financial year. Now I don't want to have to adjust all filters in the number configuration every year (when the financial year changes).Does anyone have an idea how I could build this dynamically so that I only adjust the FY once and it takes the current year into account in all filters? best regardsMirko
