I'm a pretty novice Airtable user, and I'm currently on the free level.I have created a contact management table. My main table is labeled Contact Log. It then has 15 other tables that I use, such as notes, email address, phone number, pending action (multiple-select field), follow-up needed (check box selection), etc.Is it possible to create a new table, perhaps called "Follow Up," that shows only the data from my Contact Log table where Follow Up Needed " is checked?I know I can filter and sort my initial table. But would ideally like a whole new table with that data.I also have a few other tables id like to create based on criteria being met. But I'm sure I can duplicate the process after seeing it how it's done the first time.Thanks

Hey there,Thank you for your time helping me !So i'm a mushroom farmer. I cultivate different batchs simultaneously. Each time I harvest one, I create a record for it, with the date of harvest, the batch harvested and the weight harvested. There is a tab dedicated to it.I also have another tab which contains more infos about each batch, and also a sum rollup of the harvests of each batch.My main metric to know if a batch is good is the yield, I compare the total weight of the batch to the amount harvested. For example, I harvested 10 times a batch, the total is 300kg of fresh mushrooms on a batch of 1000kg of mushroom substrate, hence 30% yield.But I'd like more complex infos, for instance I'd like to know on which specific date of harvest I crossed the 10% yield mark, the 20% ... So i could know for each batch after how many days I crossed the 10%/20% markI've tried some combos of rollup and formulas but nothing works so much, any idea

Hello,I'm making a custom page for users to link a game session (record) to a player's game session field.I have two record pickers. One for the Player, and one for the Game Session. For the player selected in the Player Record Picker, I want to be able to assign their Game Session field the value from the Game Session Record Picker. I have added an update button and created a set action, but it's not a dynamic field. I cannot use the value from the Game Session Record Picker.How can I achieve this?

When I click into a record from a gantt view the fields are in a certain order. I want to change the order and have been told to go to the original grid view in the table and change the order there. Only problem is that view was deleted a long time ago and I now have dozens of new grid views. changing the order in them doesn't seem to impact the grid view. Any tips or advice? Airtable support haven't been able to help.

I have a calendar view and would like to send emails to the persons in one of the record’s fields. That is, if the value in the ‘Clerk’ field is Peter, I’d like to send an email to Peter. Additionally, I’d like to send emails 2 weeks prior to the event, 1 week prior to the event and then 2 days prior to the event. Is this possible?

I'm new to Airtable formulas, so I would appreciate your input.I created a formula that I absolutely KNOW was working. But suddenly the field where the calculation was says #ERROR! now although it said 100% before. I can't figure out what has changed because I didn't change the fields used in the formula.I would appreciate your help.The field name is Sold v Booked %The formula is:IF({# of Winners Booked},IF({Number of Winners/GCs Sold},{# of Winners Booked}/{Number of Winners/GCs Sold})) The # of Winners Booked field is a Lookup field from another table. The Number of Winners/GCs Sold field is a Number field. 

I would like to have a database that I could track winning lottery numbers. Should I have a column for each of the numbers? I want to be able to run a summary on the amount of times a particular number is used in a winning combination.

I've seen record templates for adding physical location addresses. Where can I find this so I can add to a from scratch table? How should the address be structured to allow bulk uploading?

Hello,as explained in the title:I have a table "User" I have a single select field named "Color" 3 value possible: Red, Blue, Green Using make.com, I want to add dynamically a 4th option "yellow" So that the new possible value for this field would be: Red, Blue, Green, or YellowI am planning on doing it via Make.com using the API module and a PATCH but i wanted to check if it was possible to do it from an airtable perspective?thanks

HiThe Find Records action has a bug.I have an automation when a new record is created, use the 'Find Records' action to find a record in another table and link them together. Very straightforward and works.However if the new record created has empty fields for the conditions of the lookup, it returns ALL the records in the other table when it shouldn't return any records since an empty field does not equal to a non empty field.In the screenshots you can see that the record selected to test automation has an empty email and phone number field.But the Find Records actions returned all the records in the lookup table.This is a bug and not the first time it has been raised as mentioned in this community post:

This formula field outputs the value coming from one of those three fields: {CALC LinkedIn Conversation Start Date}, or {CALC Email Start Date}, or {RAW Miscellaneous Start Date}. As you can see, the values in the {Start Date} field are not formatted the same way depending on their source field – some values come from a date field, some from lookup fields. hi everybody,I have an airtable actionable message in slack working... it gives me 2 buttons, which then correctly update a slack record.  However, after I click a button in Slack, it always changes to then say "Processing..."   This never changes... leaving our users unsure if the action actually ran (it did).I have tried with a new table in airtable. Not sure what else to try... Has this happened to anyone else?  Any ideas on how to solve/troubleshoot?? Thank you

Hi everyone!Im using automations to send updates of records (a list of 5 at a time) to a slack channel... I have the data I want to showing up correctly, but I'm wondering if there is any way to customize the style/spacing of the output of the "List of Records" in the message block?For example, I want field names to be bolded, to have the field and data on the same line (instead of next line), and make a different separator than "-----------------------".The "List of Records" content option in the Messages block has no options to customize that I can see (screenshot)... Maybe there is another solution though?  Wanted to ask!!

I’ve become pretty proficient in Airtable over the last year and have used it for countless purposes. However, this one is stumping me a bit. Within the same table, I want to link record A to record B, and have that link show up in two separate columns indicating the relationship. Example… I’m creating a base to track cattle for a farming business. One table will have “inventory” to track all of the cattle; previously and currently held. Some cattle will produce offspring and I would like to track this in the same table by using linked records. I would like one column to indicate the parents and a separate column to indicate children/offspring. Hello,I am a beginner and would like to use Airtable both as a database (clients, prospects, accounting) and as a CRM to schedule calls, SMS, and emails, similar to HubSpot, Zendesk, or PipeDrive. If Airtable allowed these actions directly from the database, it would closely resemble a CRM, but I’m not sure if this is natively possible.Since its interface already looks like a CRM, why doesn’t Airtable include built-in features for call reminders, SMS, or automated/one-click emails? I have been playing around with @Justin_Barrett’s excellent script “Parent Child tree hierarchy” (Parent Child tree hierarchy). The output of this is a text field with any separator you like, for example: World > UK > London > Hammersmith > Elspeth Avenue > Joe’s Cafe World > France > Paris > La Defence > BNP Paribas World > USA > New York > Manhattan > Central Park Question - is there any way to extract the #3 item (or the #2 or #4 for that matter) from these text strings? In this case, to pick out “London”, “Paris” or “New York”. I assume this should involve counting 2 instances of the separator (“>”), and then selecting the text from there up to the next separator.

Hey everyone, I’ve been spinning my wheels on a simple issue for the last few days and hoping someone can put me out of my misery. I have the above dataset and hoping to split it up automatically using a formula. The data comes in via Zapier and the delimiter is always a ,. I need a solution that can run automatically. I am trying to create a formula that will take the latest date from a linked field (Appointments) and enter the latest date in a new field called "Last Appointment." I tried to generate a formula using the AI which gave me this formula:DATESTR(ARRAYSLICE({Appointments}, -1, 1))but it keeps coming back with an ERROR. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to create a publicly accessible Interface whereby access to a given record is based on a unique string that is entered in by the end user? I have records (of students) and want an individual’s information accessible only be entering a unique string. Ideally, I wanted a field where you enter in a string and then gives access to one record along - can this be built out within airtable? Thank you all!

I have a default value of "not started" set for a single select "task status" field (see screenshot of field settings). In an interface, I'm using a button to create a new record from a Timeline view. The view has filters applied, which include filtering [records without "Completed" in that status field] OR [records with "Completed" in the status field AND Completed Dates within the past 7 days.] (see screenshot of filter settings)The new record form attached to the button also has "not started" selected as the default option for the task status field. I'm using Airtable's Interface Designer to manage vehicle inventory, and I'm struggling to add more items to the side of an image (as shown in the screenshot). I'd like to display additional fields or components in the empty space to the right of the image, but I can't find a way to do it within the interface settings.

I am trying to build an automation that updates a record if the status dropdown = Offer Accepted. If Offer Accepted is selected from the dropdown, I want the automation to update a checkbox field (to no longer being checked).
