Hi, I am looking for someone to help with integrating, and automation.

I have created a table to import Google Analytics data. It contains 500 records with relative URLs and total page views. I then want to use an automation to do the equivalent of a VLOOPUP on the URLs to find matches in a content table. When there is a match, I want to Update the content table record and insert the page view If I do Update Record after the Find Record step, it tries to run 500 updates and most fail. If I add Update Record under Conditional Actions, I would expect to be able to pass along the IDs from the Find Record step and just update those. However - though this passes in Test Step and returns a value for page views, it doesn’t get written to the record. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for looking!

When I click to check on a record it should increment by one in another column. How can I achieve this?

The automation is simple: a new record submitted by form → sends office an email saying someone signed up emails sends fine ✓ How/can you include some of the record fields in the email? I’ve tried the Attachments +Add option but can’t get the {Insert} button to stay active after choosing some fields. tried adding a trigger before the email step (ie Find Records where create day is today) Looking for this: “A new signup has occurred on Airtable.” URL to Record: {recordURL} Name: {what they entered} Address: {what they entered} Service: {what they entered} etc Thanks

Hello there :slightly_smiling_face: First, I’m sorry if it’s not the good category, I wasn’t sure about where to post that … I’m wondering if it’s possible to batch edit cells: adding a numbered suffix to the current text of the cells (for example, adding numbering to myObject to get different lines with myObject1, myObject2, myObject3 …) batch replacing terms in the selected cells (for example, if cells are filled with alpha.beta.myObject, replacing alpha by delta) More globaly, I’m looking for ways to ease the edition of multiple cells at once :winking_face: Thanks a lot for any help you could provide. Hi, here I have a column shows tracking number from multiple shipping carriers. some are something like ‘6495-4289-3463’(number+‘-’) or some are like ‘343918 ai19’ (text+number+space). I would like to turn these into only number and text without any ‘-’ or space. It seems like I can use trim and substitute for formula, however, I don’t want to create extra column for it. Therefore, I want to use script using automation when context is filled. what would be the script l can use?

Hi, I’m new to airtable and struggling to get the automations to work how I want. It worked for me yesterday so I know it can do it but failed today and I’m not sure what changed. I’ve got a grid that collects data from forms that are submitted from people. I’ve also got another grid that already has a list of all the people the form is sent to. After they submit the form the data appears on the grid the form was made for, however I also want it to update the other grid with their answers (so I can see who hasn’t submitted the form and have a record of each day). I need it to recognize who is submitting the form from their name and find them on the other grid then add their answers to that grid in the correct columns.

I have a to-do list created in Airtable. Each record is an assignment for someone on the team and fields includes things like priority (high, low), status (in progress, complete), who it’s assigned to, etc. One field is a deadline and I would like that deadline to automatically be entered into an Outlook Calendar when a new Airtable record is created or edited. I created an automation, but it’s not working properly. The trigger is “when a record is created”. The Action is “Outlook Calendar - Create Event”. Hi! I’m trying to automate the sending of our reminders to our partners. I’ve chosen the ‘email digest’ automation. There are different frequencies (daily, once a week, twice a week, and thrice a week) based on the preferences of our partners. Therefore, the trigger is “at a scheduled time”. The next action is to find records and the last is to send an email via Gmail. Is it possible to send the email individually instead of in a list? Their names should be addressed in the mail. Is there some formula that can send out multiple emails addressed to each one of the recipients? Thank you!

Hi, All my automations are throwing error when selecting a lookup field. The error says “Agent Email cannot be converted to a string” The trigger is when a new record is created in a table. action is to send gmail. in cc i am using a value of the field “agent email” which is looked up from a different table. The error comes on running any automation.

Is there a daily limit to how many operations can be performed on airtable software using an integromat? I work with the app to set up new records as well as search for existing records The question is is there a daily limit?

Who can help me with this? I have a table (A) that is grouped by name. This is where the sales from our salespeople come in. The records are shot in via API so at the beginning of the day the fields are empty. So as the day progresses the list grows. What I would like to achieve: On another tab a list showing all the names that have been poured in (from A) with the number of records in the field next to it. Hi , I’m new to Airtable and I’m looking for a way to fill out a table with new records. I have a table “employees” which the ID is the email and among other fields it has an “active user” check box and the field “programs” with all applications that a user has. I’m trying to create a routine that once I untick the “active” checkbox on the “employees” table , a second table called “offboarded users” would have another record automatically added with the “email” and the “programs” as listed on the “employees” table. The trigger works but the action part populates the table only in the “email” field and with some “rec” numbers. Does anyone can help me to fix this ? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello, I’m trying to figure out how to automate a series of due dates for tasks. In this example, I have a project that has a deadline of 6/28/22 at 5:00pm. The to-do list associated with this project is automatically generated through a series of automation (every project that gets added to this table will receive the same to-do list). However, each task should have its own due date based on the final deadline, listed in the “Due Date for Task” column. For example, “Save and review RFP” could be 45 days out from the final deadline of 6/28. “Kick off meeting to determine focus of proposal” could be 30 days out from the final deadline of 6/28, for example. Whenever a new project gets added to the table, I want each automated task to have its own due date based on how close it is to the project’s final deadline, following the same formula each time. Hi, I am using AirTable to track project status for a number of smaller entities my organization funds. I have a form system that has an “Estimated Date of Completion” Date field and a “Status” Single Select field. Each record is a specific task. I would like users to receive a form to update the status of the specific task when the Estimated Date of Completion = Today, so whenever that date occurs, they have to either update the status to completed, or adjust the estimated date of completion. I was tried to create a new field that used this formula to indicate whether the date for Estimated Date of Completion is today: IF(IS_SAME({Estimated Date of Completion},TODAY(),‘days’),“It’s today”,“It’s not today”) That worked, but I can’t seem to figure out how to get the Automation function to trigger the activity. I’m relatively new to this - would appreciate any guidance or direction from the community!

Hi everyone - I’m attempting to run an automation to update a table and running into some issues and hoping someone can help out. Here is the set up: Two tables (table 1 and table 2) Table 1 has three columns: URL, #, and Name Table 2 has two columns: URL and Name Basically, when I add a record to table 1, and the URL matches a URL from table 2, I want the Name from table 2 to populate the Name field in table 1. I have an automation set it, and when I test it it runs correctly, but when I attempt to add a record in Table 1 it fails. The set up is like this: When record is created in table 1, find record in table 2 where URL contains field value from new record in table 1, update record value “Name” in table 1. AS mentioned, when I test it it works, but when it runs on the table it fails and I get an error that says “Invalid filter on URL” in the find records step. Any ides on how to fix this or another way to do this? Thanks!

Is there a way to create either a formula or an automation that can create a copy of a whole row in an Airtable base? Our company has a back end that we created, customers order products and then we create stickers so items can be individually marked. If a customer orders 4-5lb carrots, the single line item reads 4-5lb carrots, Boy and Girl Farm Then to create 4 individual stickers we have to copy the line item and manually insert a new row 4 times 1/4-5lb carrots, Boy and Girl Farm 2/4-5lb carrots, Boy and Girl Farm 3/4-5lb carrots, Boy and Girl Farm 4/4-5lb carrots, Boy and Girl Farm This makes it so individual stickers can then be created. Is there a way for me to create something that would multiple a whole row by the quantity? I’m super new to data bases and am more likely than not using NOOB terminology or incorrect words for things, so let me know if I can elaborate anyway, I super appreciate it.

We want a Airtable automation that looks at the records in our PLAYERS table and checks to see if the user that created the order, already exists (based on the phone number being the unique identifier).Consider that phone numbers have been entered in a variety of formats.Please see the linked video to see exactly how we’ve set up the automation… but we can’t get it to work.Any suggestions?

I created an automation to trigger an email when a record has been modified/updated. Can I set that the “Action” will not happen immediately. let’s say after 10 min from the change? Thanks

Actions are not executed although the conditions are met and the automation is displayed as runs successfully. If I then run the automation again in test, the actions are executed. Trigger: When a record is updated Conditional Actions: Condition: IF lookup field value contains <text> AND multiple select field values has any of <selected value> Find records Which meet the condition above. Update record Record ID: <record ID> linked field: <List of ‘Airtable record ID’ from step 2> How can this be?
