Hi, community! I'm sure you'll be able to give me some ideas to figure out the best way to accomplish what I'm trying to.I have a base with 6 tables: Check-in, Market, Business, Operations, Traction and Finance.Forms with data will arrive in Check-in table. Since is a lot of data for the customer to fill in one time, we had to split fields in 5 forms which collect the real values of customer business and 5 forms collecting projection values.Customer will answer this every month, so we have an Evaluation Month field in every table. Also, and that's one messed up thing, they need customer be able to send data in more than one form. So this would work something like, on first month, customer knows 4 of the 8 questions, he will send a form with these 4 answers; then, when he gets the other 4, he will send another form with the other 4 answers. Hey everyone. I have a public URL link that I'm trying to use to upload to an airtable attachment field with airtable scripting. When I go to the airtable record and see the activity it shows me that the attachment was uploaded and deleted, but I don't delete it in my code.Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Hi. I've bumped into an issue when I want to send an automated email based on a field containing an email address. I've got two fields, one lookup that shows me the email address based on a selection from Email-Committee List. Help articles suggest using this formula -->> CONCATENATE({Committee's email (from Email-Committee List 2)}, "") but when putting --Calculation-- field in the --to-- field in the automation it comes back with the message that "The "To" input is empty" and I don't know what I'm doing wrong there.

Hello, this is an airtable newbie question:I have searched here, watched videos, and am completely failing with the following problem:I want to create an automation that sends a mail to ALL mail addresses contained in table 2 when a data record is added to table 1.I have the trigger, it works, it's simple.In the actions, I only have access to the data of table 1 in the To: field (where the mail addresses should go), not table 2.How can I access the data of table 2 at this point?Does anyone have a comprehensible tip for me?Many thanks in advance for your timeBoris

 Hi there, I hope I'll find a smart head here that will help me tackle this issue. I have two automation working on the same basis, we get an import from G Sheet, there are numbers there and we want to make the specific fields into a unified table, to create a 'clear' view with all crucial data in one place.One automation takes the numbers and places them like it's asked, but the second one keeps on screaming at me "Field cannot accept the provided value: Could not parse number." This is really confusing as there are no operations run on both of them, just simple data, and one works, whereas the other is just being difficult. Any idea what can be causing that? I thought that it just can't do numbers but one works so it's not that, both are done the same way and the issue still occurs. 

Hi Community, Relatively new with Airtable (6 months or so) and struggling to create an automation that in theory seems quite simple, but I've tried everything and can't seem to crack it...ContextI have a table for invoices, where each invoice can be set as either an "Invoice" or "Additional Invoice". the invoices table also has fields called "Original Invoice" (Linked to other records) and "Additional Invoice" (Linked to other records).Desired Automation/ExampleI create a new record in the invoices table (Record B) and set it as an "Additional Invoice", and then, in the "Original Record" field, I link to Record A. (In other words, I am setting that Record B is an "Additional Invoice", and it's "Original Invoice" was Record A) When Record A is linked to Record B as above, I want Record A's "Additional Invoice" field to be populated (linked with) Record B automatically. - Rather than having to go into Record A, and linking it with Record B manually.If anyone could work out the

I'm having a hard time finding a simple script that will allow you to duplicate a record via automation.My end goal:Trigger: When a record matches a condition (i.e. a checkbox is checked off)Action: Run script --> this is where I can't find a script online! Dear,  I am using the following automation :    It works perfectly fine...but not in every case.Indeed, when the field value contains a space (i.e. "The Demons") or a number within (i.e. The4demons) it doesn't recognize it (even if that of course exactly the same value from a table to another). Does someone have a way to handle this issue? Have a nice day, Arthur

When creating an email automation based upon a record being updated, I want to include the name of the person who updated the record in the email. I have used the field 'User who took action - name', but it returns blank for both the preview and live automation email. Why is this? I am logged in and have a name associated with my account.Thank you

Someone is sharing an Airtable with me, not my account, "use this data" available..How can I sync this data to either another table I own or via Zapier to trigger a zap?Or do i need to request they share the table with me another way?Figured someone here would know....

Hello,This is a variant on an earlier topic. I have a base where users input lengthy URLs into several fields, and corresponding display text in separate fields. I've been using the workaround where a formula field does this calculation: CONCATENATE("[",{name},"](",{URL},")") and an automation takes that field and copies it into a rich-text-formatted long text field. It's clunky, and even clunkier when you have a bunch of markdown formula fields in your base. I'd like to do this with just an automation, but when I try to do it exactly the same way, I get text output like  [Airtable](www.airtable.com)whereas my formula approach gives Airtable  Here's the automation script I'm using. I am attempting to update multiple records in a single automation in a Synced Table. I am unable to update Synced Records from RunScript as I get 'Error: Edits to synced field "Stories Automation" (fldxxxxxx) are not allowed from this origin'.I know I can use the native update record functions to update a single record, but if I put the items into a list attempt to repeat group I am given the error `Synced fields can only be updated in the last action in an automation. Move this action to the end of the automation, or remove the synced field.`What are the options? I'm considering just using an API call to make the changes directly to the original table but am hoping I can do them locally. 

Hello,I am trying to trigger a script when 'Language' field of given record is empty (record=domain).I want the script to fetch domain's language. I first ask script to convert domain to URL, since the API call works best with exact URL and not domain.But the problem is that script can not properly handle permanent redirects. I 've tried handle permanent redirects by trying to convert the domain to a URL using 'https://www' + domainId + '/', but that does not work. Hello!Hello!I am new to Airtable and Make.com… have tried to make 2 steps work for a month and it has not been working…THE GOAL: What I am trying to do is to extract the transcript from a video file, so after I can produce a written article, a title for the article and the video, and a description for Mr. YouTube.ERROR: Use Column ID: False or 403STEPS: (STEP 1: connecting with Webhook => OK). STEP 2: Getting a record from Airtable and put it into make to transfer the info into Google Drive (video transcript).Problem in STEP 2I have checked the names and IDs and I don’t know what I am missing. My administrator did the same operation and it showed the “Use Column ID: false”, but we didn’t have any problems or errors until now. I have re-written all the code, redone the tables and the whole process. Have updated all my permissions and the token on Airtable. Hi, is there anyway I can test the automation I make in Airtable locally?I am trying to hit my development server and to check/test if there is problem before I deploy the changes to another environment.I tried to use my exposed public IP,  and when I tried to test the automation, it shows this error "TypeError: Requests to '192.168.100.16' are not permitted".Is there anyway to test the automation functionality locally? 

Hello all! I am looking for a way to add images to calendar event automations. Right now we are using outlook’s native calendar application to send out invites to clients and attaching an image of a map to help point them to where they should head during their scheduled appointment. But i figure if we have an automation that can send these invites out at the push of a button, it would save a ton of time. We are already capturing all the information we need to send out these invites in airtable, and all of those translate into the calendar event automation, but we can’t figure out how to include the map images. We tried an tag, but that doesn’t work. What would be the best way to go about it? Can an image be added inline with an calendar event?

Hi! I'm new to Airtable and am very stuck here trying to achieve counting a number of records and showing it in a different table.The columns I want to count are: "Plege1", "Pledge2" and "Pledge3" in "Table1", count the number of "True" entry of all three columns, sum up and record the number in "Table2".I was able to create a formula to count the number of "True" entry for each record, but I can't think of a way to show the sum of all records in "Table2". Could someone help with this? Any suggestion is very much appreciated. Thank you!  

Hello, I’m trying to find the best way to have reports with attachments (photos) automatically post to our team Slack channel upon submission. Basically, I have set up a form that my team can complete that allows for an attachment (photo) upload. After submission I have the automations set up to post to Slack. Everything works except the image will normally have “file not found.” I have the URL set to forward to Slack. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi, there!! I need an automation to do exactly what the subject of the topic says. We’ll fill the e-mail field in Table 2 from a csv import. Then we need the automation to lookup that email on Table 1, get the Name value corresponding and then fill the field Aluno in table 2. I found a script in another post that I adapted to what I need but I’m still learning to code so I need help to fix my script. Can anyone pleeeease give me a help? I want to set a Date field to the current date time in an automation. I tried using a formula field (with NOW()) from a previous step in the automation to set this Date field but the automation fails with the error;Field "Date" cannot accept the provided value: Could not convert string to date.No amount of formatting of the formula field is helping.
