Hello!I'm new to automation and trying to figure out how to copy data from one field to another when one field is not empty and the other is empty.I have a Tasks Due table and a Reminder field that is a Dateadd formula which calculates a date from data from another linked table. I want to copy that Reminder field and paste it into my Date Due field if the Reminder field is not empty and the Date Due field is empty. Can anyone help? Screenshots of how I currently have it set up. I've tried changing up the conditions, Record ID and field but can't get it to work.Thanks so much for any help you can give!

I am setting up an AirTable to manage incoming event registrations, with an automation to assign people to a particular session in the event, depending on whether that session has met its cap. There are multiple conditional steps; people select first, second and third choice sessions, and the automation has four conditional actions to assign people to the first available session from their choices. I am already running into a "Received invalid inputs" error when testing the conditional actions.I've attached three screenshots of the automation set-up. It seems that the issue is in the conditional action that is set to run IF the "List of names" (pulled from the "Open Sessions" view that is pulled from the "Find Records" action above) CONTAINS the "name" value of a single-select field that is pulled from the record created (which is the automation trigger). The error message says "Received invalid inputs" but I haven't been able to identify the issue.

Hello! I work at a nonprofit that offers technology training to bridge the digital divide. We are transitioning to Airtable and Typeform to manage our classes, partner relations, survey data, and more. We have many different class types that each have their own surveys. We built it out so that each survey has its own table in the same base that gets auto-filled via the Typeform integration. Currently, each survey also has a duplicate copy that is in Spanish. Because question answer choices have to match from Typeform to Airtable, I cannot field map the same Typeform question in an English survey as in the Spanish survey. For instance, I have to have a field for gender in English and a field for gender in Spanish. I was using Automations to automatically "translate" the Spanish fields into English fields that we use for our Interfaces (really just auto-populate what the translated version is into the English field). Hello!There are a LOT of posts regarding the popular error of "Received Invalid Input" but in my search I didn't find anything that was specific to the conditional logic of the automation being the area that returned the error.I've created a video to show how the conditional logic works when the list properties length = 1, but if it = 0, then the conditional logic check returns the "Received Invalid Input" error. Any help is appreciated.

I'm having an issue I hope someone can help me with.I have one table that I fill out myself with an applicant's basic contact info, including an ID number and their email address, and that I then use to track the Status of their project (projects can last from six months to multiple years). Once I set the Status of their project to "New," I have an automation set up so the contact receives an email with a link to a form to fill out with more detailed contact info that is used manually populate an invoice (my work uses a separate system for invoicing). I created a different table for the form, since a) the detailed contact info is only needed for the manual process, b) I don't want to clutter up the main table with this detailed contact info, and c) it's easier to create a form with a nice separate table vs. using only certain cells from another table.The issue that I'm running into now is how to make these two tables talk to each other. Dear Sirs,I have the table "General" in which I select the records from another table "People" (in the same base) - via link.Then I've synced (bi-diretionally) the table "General" to a different base ("2024"); the problem is that all the fileds in "2024" are selectionale (not modificable), with the exception of the records selected by the table for which the following message appears:"This field is synced from a source that doesn’t allow it to be edited". And the selection in that record is not modificable from "2024" but only from the original "Globale",I have the Business plan. Thank you to everybody. Best regards A. OK guys, I feel silly that I can't figure this out, but I can't find this anywhere: I'm looking for a centralized log or history of automation runs.  Essentially the data you'd find if you go to "Automation history" for each individual automation, but instead, a log for the entire workspace.For reference, I'm the admin on a business-plan account.  Thanks in advance for any help!

I am seeking to copy values from certain fields on one grid / table to another table. The fields names are different for most being copied over to the other table. I currently have automation triggers that send clients an email:1. Once we approve a song and send a welcome email (For clients we're onboarding for the first time)2. Once we approve a song intake (For clients we have been working with and we're accepting new material from)If possible once things are approved from either of these automations I would like to have an automation that sends the approved songs to our "Full Repped Catalog" table. That way we can have record of everything we represent. Is this possible to do?   

All of automations have suddenly stopped working, while they test successfully. It's not about one automation, but for every and each automation in the base. The question is, what could be causing this problem, as everything worked perfectly until now.   

When I test my automations within the Automations tab they work fine. For some reason they are not working based on trigger on live tables. Please help this is a huge problem for us.

Airtable automations have stopped working altogether for me. The Automations worked perfectly fine uptil 27th of this month(Screenshot-1 attached) but all the of sudden it stopped working(Screenshot-2 attached). I have checked all the conditional formatting and also ran a test for automations and it works fine during test but it gives error in real time automations.  I have not changed anything in the automations and I have also checked that I have not ran over the automations run per month count but it stopped working for me. Is anyone else facing the same problem. Will be grateful if someone helps me sort it out 

Hello everyone,I did a trigger "When record is created" and script action where i want to get the record id to be able to update the record and all stuff. To do it, I'm using input.config() but not doing well in input variables. As shown in the picture, I've created an input variable named recordId and the value should let me choose something like "Record (from step 1)" that should be the record id of the trigger. I've never used this before and I'm a bit lost. Thank you all in advance.  

I can't understand....All my automations dont work automatically.Here is an example:Trigger:When an entry matches the condition.Completed search fieldsIf everything is valid, then update the field of another table.All the tests work, manually it updates the fields, but never automatically.I tried to change the trigger by:When an record is createdAt a certain timeNothing happens. It never fires.I have no errors in the tests, and I point out again, I have no errors, the entries were intentionally created in order to match to obtain a result.I deleted all the automations I had, completely recreated the tables to start from 0 in order to find why, well it's still the same. And the reslut of the test :

Hi community,I'm struggling to understand why this whatsoever perfectly working tiny piece of script stops doing so when (seemingly) the 'start' date and the 'end' date are not in the same month.I am rather new to Airtable script editor so I couldn't find a step-by-step run mode, or a variable value watcher, but it seems that the 'days' variable is not computed correctly when 'start' and 'end' belong to a different month (for instance, 2024-07-15 and 2024-08-07 - however works perfectly with 2024-07-15 and 2024-07-31, and then 2024-08-01 and 2024-08-07)... leading to not entering the 'for' loop at all.Any clue anyone? Dear All,Newbie here! To simplify our current workspace, we would like to duplicate our main base (let's call it A) and delete any entries in the duplicated version (B) with a deadline after June 2023. B will be used as archive for our past work.Then we would like to run an automation in A to remove any content with the deadline set till June 2023 (so we are only using what is for use " current content")This is a one-time automation; we do not need it to run multiple times. Use case: Within an table (called ‘Meetings’) user creates a new record (i.e. a meeting) User adds date/time, text description, attendees (collaborator field), videoconference link (link field), etc. Automation sends a invite to each attendees email address (from collaborator field) as an email with .ics attached or alternatively as an MS Outlook Invite. NB. this is not the same as much of the functionality which just creates a record in a user’s calendar - as this doesn’t provide sufficient notification/visibility to the attendee that they’ve been added to a meeting. They need to receive an email - which can then create an event in their calendar. I can send an email from a record easily, but making this an invite/event or adding an ics had eluded me. Any suggestions welcome?

Hi all,I've followed the advice, and every other ticket on this subject that I can, specifically disconnecting and deleting previous Gmail, integration, connections, and re-adding them, including adding three different accounts in case that's the problem. I've also created a new automation to see if that's the issue, although the air table processing seems to be okay. I've also waited a few days and tried it all again to see if it was a temporary problem somewhere on the stack, still no luck.I just keep getting Gmail related errors like those below. What can I do? Hi there!I need to send calendar invites by email automation to people I book for events. I'm using Make to create the calendar invite and upload it as a file in Airtable.Then, I'm using automations to send the .ics file as an email attachment to people I book for my events. They can then download it from their email and it creates a calendar invite for them. In airtable I have created an automation 'send email'. I 'insert value from field', the field being a number. The number comes from an Airtable field which is a formula that is formatted to $123,456. The 'insert value from field' is not formatted and comes out in the email as 123456.123456789. How can I pass the field format to the inserted value?

Hello!I have a formula field set to format as a percent in the table. That field is then part of a linked record lookup field in a table that will trigger automation to send emails. I want to share that percentage in the email. Hey all, I have a table which is a  synced report from Salesforce that shows me opportunities coming up for renewal. I also created a different table with the same fields but is populated from the Salesforce report "SFDC Renewals Report" via automation: When condition is met (opportunity ID is not empty) - then create record in the second table "AE<>RAE Worksheet". My issue is that we moved accounts around in Salesforce and now some accounts have a different Renewal Account Executive or Sales Person. I cannot figure out how to automate the update of that Renewal Account Executive field in the "AE<>RAE Worksheet" to match the one in the synced salesforce report.  Any help is greatly appreciated
