We are using Airtable to track receipts. The current setup is a Receipts tab, where employees can fill out a form to submit their receipts. The Staff tab, is where the list of staff names are that the staff choose from when filling out the form that goes to the Receipts Tab. Then I have a 3rd tab for Reconciliation Month that the Finance Manager can apply onto the Receipts tab when they do the final approval of the receipts. The workflow is that an employee will fill out the form when they have a receipt. Then once a month the finance manager will go in and review confirm which month the receipt applies to so that it will group together.I am trying to get it setup to do an automation that sends the receipts to the finance manager by staff person by month. I am able to do the email that pulls all the receipts together for that month, but can't figure out how to break it down by person. The staff tab has a lookup of receipts by person, but it is pulling all the receipts. I

I tried to create an Automated email, and I don't know how to create a date time format nor rounding number.1. I created new fields with DateTime_Format, but when I put it in the email, nothing appear.2. I also round number in the number field and it won't round numbers in the email

I run an appointment system on Airtable and am looking to send reminders a few hours ahead of upcoming meetings.For example, a meeting is scheduled for 2pm on June 24th, therefore by 12pm on June 24th, I'd like a reminder email sent out.Which Automation Trigger would I need to use to do this? And what would the steps be? Possible solution: could I convert the time into minutes and then set up the formula such that once it hits X number of minutes before the start time, it meets "record conditions" (determined in Automations) which then leads to the automation being triggered?Thanks in advance for your help! ps I'm not interested in using external tools like Make or Zapier as we're a non-profit with limited funds - they just about stretch to Airtable.

I want to send an automated email that includes a formula field/token (it is called "6-month historical average"), formatted to 0.1 decimal place (this formula calculates an avg of the numeric values in 6 other fields, all of which are to 0.1 decimal place).Although the "6-month historical average" field is formatted to 0.1 decimal place, when I test the automation, this value always appears with a long string of decimal places e.g. instead of 4.6 it will show as 4.6248482367213....Why is this happening? I want the historical average to show with only 0.1 decimal place.Thanks for your advice!

Hi! I'm trying to set up my first automation so that whenever someone submits a survey, AT sends that person an email with a summary of their responses. The client base are outside of the company and don't use AirTable beyond this survey, so I figured the automation route would be best. When I test using a test record I created in the base, it appears to run successfully. However, the first person submitted the survey yesterday and the automation keeps failing with the "The "To" input is empty" error. I currently have it set to popular the "To" field based on what the user enters in that question on the survey. I triple-checked the run that failed, and the user entered an email in that field, so I'm not sure why it's still saying it's blank. Should I add another step somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help! 

Hello, I am trying to create an automation using the Repeating Group option but I can't get it to work.I have a main table where I keep records of customer files. Each record has a responsible party that is linked to another table called "Responsibles," which contains the name and email address of each responsible party.What I want is for the automation to check the file records every Monday and send an email to each responsible party with a table showing their files.It is possible that a file may be assigned to more than one responsible party, so that file should appear in the table of the email for the different responsible parties.I have been testing this but I don't know how to configure it. Thank you.

I have a script set up to delete records when they enter a view. I fiound the script on this forum, it's:  let table = base.getTable("Field & Nursery"); let inputConfig = input.config(); let recordId = inputConfig['recordId'] await table.deleteRecordAsync(recordId); However, when this script runs, it triggers another automation. Update (I misspoke about how the automation works - amended here) The deletion is handled by:- If the record appears to need deleting, the status changes to a pending deletion status- A formula looks for records of the pending deletion status that are over x days old (depends on the kind of record) and outputs a "Delete" string (otherwise this field outputs nothing).-The automation looks for records that match "Delete" in the formula field.The script seems to behave in a way that the fields that are being watched "look" updated.However, because the script is deleting the record, this second automation fails. I assume there is s

Hey,I have an automation that when the status changes to "done" an email is sent to the customer.Is it possible to send an email to the customer from the email of the user who changed the status?For example, if I change the status to "done" then an email will be sent to the customer from me, but if someone else from the company changes the status then an email will be sent to the customer from him.

Hello....I need to automate a record when its status changes and reply to the original email (attached msg format into each record) to the sender with some editions. Has anyone tried this? 

HiIm trying to work out a fix for an issue where the automation is searching for empty records of a column and emailing the relevant editor. The issue that comes into play is that it will find say 3 records of one author and add their email in 3 times instead of just once ? Im not certain that I may need another logic step added in?

Hi there,I'm creating a weekly digest email that pulls all records created from the past week and displays as a Grid of Records in the email.When a preview is generated within Airtable, the formatting is clean and the text for each entry doesn't wrap within the cell.However, when the email is sent out, text within in each cell wraps, making each row taller than a single line and isn't a consistent height. Several of the fields are linked records.How can this be adjusted so the Grid Records in the email appear more like the preview in Airtable (consistent, 1-line row heights with no text wrapping), rather than how they are appearing in the email currently?Preview within Airtable:How Grid Records Appear in Email:

Hi! I use Airtable for tv title tracking and I'm trying to see if it's possible to update a field ("Distribution Rights") when a separate field ("Distrbution Rights Details") is selected. Example listed below:When "EXPECTED: All Media Worldwide" is selected in the "Distribution Rights Details" field, populate "Distribution Rights" field as "Global Expected"Is this automation possible? If so, would it be possible to add additional options (when All Media Worldwide is selected, populate Global in Distribution Rights)?

This one is puzzling me. I have an automation that watches for a field to be updated, which then updates another field on the same record. It mostly seems to work as I need it to. However, I keep getting errors that the automation has failed as it "does not exist". It will successfully be triggered, but unable to update itself.Indeed, these records don't seem to exist. I expect they are deleted. However, I can't get the automation to fire by deleting a record.What could possibly be happening to the record between being the trigger and the update step?I haven't been able to "catch" this failing in action, as it doesn't have a noticable effect in use - I only see it when airtable emails me a notification.

I have a list of clients (column A) and each of these clients are linked to their account manager(s) (column D). Other columns are various infos about each client (status or region - columns B and C - I've kept these as examples).I want to send a weekly reminder, by email, to each account manager, with all the clients they have to reach out to this week (according to a filter on which the view is based - Priority Status (not shown)).
