I am using Make.com - Airtable - Update records. I have 5 different modules all returning the same 404 response,  using the outh accessIt locates the base and the table, searching for the primary IDContacted support, sent links and images. No response yet.After some search, 404 errors apparently show up. Airtable did an update in make.comAnyone else having this problem? How do I base my business on this happing?Thanks in advance   

Airtable Newbie here!  I have an email automation that sends me a reminder when an item in my airtable is approaching the due date.  I want to have a field (due date) appear in the email to be in red, so that it i see it clearly.  Can I do that in Airtable?  If so, how do I write it or where do I write that? Is it surrounding the field name in the body of the email?It should look like this:The records are due to the requester on August 5, 2024.

Hello, I am working on integrating my google calendar with my airtable base so that I can include all of the meetings that I have with members of my contact list on their contact profile as a linked record to the calendar table. I created an automation to do this for me (see below). The issue that I have found is that when more than 1 of the contacts that are added to the calendar invite for the meeting is found within my big "Contacts" table, it will grab the unique IDs for both of the contacts and it goes to add my calculated field (the first one in the image below, my primary field, and the only field that I want to add), to my synced calendar "Contacts" field within my calendar table. 

Why I cant reply to actionable messages on Slack?  When clicking in slack I always keep receiving the same reply."You do not have access to this Airtable record, or it has been deleted" Thats impossible as Im the owner of the base and workspace. How may I fix this? Thanks

I’m trying to auto-create a record when an interface button is clicked. This can be done by linking a button to an automation. In the new record I want to store the user who clicked the button. Is this possible?

I have two tables with the same fieldsTable 1. Current Data (Read-only)Table 2. Proposed Draft (Read/Write)I want users to be able to edit records in the second table. Table 2 can then be submitted to a workflow. If approved, data from Table 2 will be joined to Table 1.Essentially, is it possible to join (concatenate) one table to another with the same fields?

Hello! I have an idea for an automation and I'm not sure how to go about it. I have an automation (in zapier) currently where when the referral source is left blank when an employee schedules a client in our scheduling software, the client name and email is added to an Airtable base so that we have a running list of who to reach out to and ask for the info. I wonder if it's possible to send an email to the employee asking for the referral source. I was thinking it'd be great to just send an airtable form but I don't know if I can send a form that would update an existing record? The referral field is not always applicable so making it required isn't an option. The existing automation filters whether the referral source is needed. The process in my head goes like this:-New record is added to Airtable base that includes name and email. The record also has a single choice field that is left blank with the possible options.-An email is sent with an airtable for

It won’t find the slack channel I need and when I use the “Find channel” option I can’t search for it either because when I type it into the search field it doesn’t do anything. If I hit return, it just picks whatever channel is at the top of the list and doesn’t search for what I entered.

Hello,I am looking for some help on an automation I am trying to run.  I am trying to use a make.com webhook with airtable so that when a new record shows up in airtable it sends the webhook to make.com.  I have the script that I am using and the connection and everything works but the webhook does not send the correct bundle of information.  It sends the record ID and then just generic information like 'header 'recipient', etc.  I am a school teacher and not a coder so I have been trying to get Chatgpt to help me with the script and I feel I am really close but don't know the scripting language enough to diagnose the problem.  Any help would be appreciated.let table = base.getTable("Injury Report Form");let recordId = input

Hi everyone,I have a table for customers, a table for assets and a table for faults.Each client can have several assets and each asset can have several faults.When a fault is closed, an email is sent to the customer with a request for payment for that fault.I have clients who are divorced and they are paying for the same property.Their email column is a lookup field from the asset table (which connect to the client table) in the faults table and it looks like this now - "email 1, email 2"And the same for the column with their first name it a lookup field from the asset table (which connect to the client table) and it show - "first name 1, first name 2"I can send each client seperate email with the "repeating group" automation.the problem is that i cant seperate their first name in the email body text.how can I send each client private email with his first name?

Hi 😊 I'm trying to create an inventory system that works a bit like a CMS. I want to be able to create an automation when if I add a new item in Table 1, another table is created (duplicating fields from existing tables) and then if possible, linking the new table in a column by the new item in table 1. To make it easier to visualise, Table 1 is like a directory, and then Table 2 is a like a log of that item. Currently I have to: 1 - add a new item in table 1, create a SKU number for it, then duplicate table 2 (which has different field values) to create a new table for the new item. I then copy and paste this new table into a cell on table 1 that coincides with that same item.Screenshots attached that show Table 1 with item catalogue, and then Table 2 with item 1 listed. I need to have the master table unmodified and only its duplicate to register my changes so I can compare the two. How can I do it?

I am trying to set a simple automation but for some reason It does not work and I cannot make anything out of what the error is giving by Airtable: Updating the record failed.For more context, I have a formula field that is concatenate from multiple text fields and I want to have a multi-select field that is pasted from the aforemention formula field. The purpose of this is to have tags type as well as remove the duplicated tags.Let me know if you have any suggestion. Thanks!

Wonder if anyone has something that works for this... I'm creating discrete events in a base, and I want to automate the process of turning the data points into a .ics file and attaching it to the record in an attachment field. It's a bit like this walkthrough  but instead of using Make to attach the .ics into an email, I want to return the file to the Airtable record's attachment field. Then anyone who has access to the record can download and save the calendar entry to their own calendar. Per that walkthrough I was trying to get Make.com to do this but I keep running into Bundle Validation Errors, and I'm wondering if there's a way for Airtable to handle this inside the base via scripting. 

Hello,We are trying to replicate functionality from a system we are phasing out.  The function allows the user to view a list of accounts, filter based on fields, and then send an email to the resulting filtered list.  I'm wondering if there is a way to do this via the automation builder or scripting.  I understand how to do this for a static list of filter parameters, but I want to create an interface (or some other mechanism) to allow users to determine the parameters themselves.Inputs:   Users select parameters from a set of drop down fields in an interface or some other UI element (Stacker, make, etc.)  (E.g. User role, Department Name, etc.)Process:  Automation system parses those user inputs to generate a string of email addresses that matches the criteria from the user input.  (E.g. If the user selects "Role = Admin",  the system would return the list of email addresses where the user record has a role of Admin

I would appreciate to have any assistance in finding a way to sort a grid of records in an email automation.It is really frustrating this functionality is not available, so need to find a workaround. I have an automation that sends email with 2 grids of records that I need to sort. Without sorting the grids are senseless and useless. I am not familiar with scripting, so any help in that (if it is the only way) will be appreciated and paid.We do not use Integromat or other 3rd party solutions, so need to do it by Airtable instruments only.Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I am somewhat new to Airtable, and need some help. I have built 90% of what I need already however I am stuck with one final challenge. I have created an automation that will send a weekly digest email with all of the logged activities over the past 90 days (calls, emails, meetings etc) that I can share with my clients, specific to their project. The email that is generated (preview) sorts these table records based on the date/time that they were INPUT TO AIRTABLE instead of the date that they actually occurred (sometimes I log activity a few days after the fact). I have created a date field which has the actual meeting times and would have preferred the automated email to sort results based on that date field however I don’t know how to do that. I have a list of 100-200 sign-up's on a shared view (that's embedded in my website, so it "should" update), and I want to have a public user "Approve" or "Deny" each sign-up by clicking a field button (see screenshot) that would update one Select Field in the respective row. This process happens only once a year.A simple search on the AT community shows that editable shared views are incredibly popular but not possible. There have even been some creative workarounds (like this from GAP Consulting), but it's too much to ask for someone to open 100-200 forms to update one value for each row. Hello! I've read through other messages and some how-to's and I'm hitting a wall with on automation I have set up. I have an automation set up to track my apartment cleaning tasks. When a record is created in the Cleaning Tracker table [TRIGGER], the automation:    1. finds the records in a different table (Rooms to Clean) to add the new task to where the name contains the same Month and Room/Area as the created record.     2. finds all the records in the Cleaning Tracker that have the same Month and Room/Area as the one just created    IF the record doesn't already exist:        create a new record in Rooms to Clean    IF the record does exist (record length >= 1)        update the record with all of the records that have the same Month and Room/Area This automation works great with every room's task

I'm scratching my head here, if anyone can help!I have an automation to update a record when a linked record is created. For the Record ID in the Update Record step, I'm using a linked field from the previous step, set up as follows:It works perfectly when I run tests, on both preview and run as configured. But in real life, it keeps failing on "Received Invalid Inputs" and when I check, I see the Record ID isn't getting passed through.EDITED TO ADD: I have another automation set up the same way, except the trigger is "When record updated" and it works fine. What am I doing wrong?

We perform record review for the assets we have in our base, around 300 days after the last review date was entered for the asset.
