Hi!  Using an automation designed to send and collect wedding rsvps via a form - I customised the automation to use it for our events company.The automation uses a CRM/Contacts table, a RSVP table to collect the new responses, and a form linked to the RSVP table. A personalised link in the CRM/Contacts table is sent to each contact. This link (image attached) is a form prefilled with their name and details, and few empty fields for them to complete. The data entered into the form > feeds into the rsvp table > then updates the CRM/Contacts table records.The problem we're having is invited people are forwarding their personalised links to others for them to attend the event. Inviting new people isn't a problem - the problem is the new person overwrites the existing data/user in the CRM table (unlike a wedding where guests don't invite other guests). I have to manually go, roll back the data, and create a new record for the new person.To c

I have an Automation that triggers when a new pdf has been added via Documint.  It sends an email with the pdf document that has been added as an attachment.  The issue is it is sending all of the attachments in the field and not just the one that has been most recently added. I would like to know how I can send just the last attachment that has been added in the field and ignore the existing ones. 

Hello, I recently created a weekly report using the Extension feature's Page Designer. Now I want to send this report every end of the workweek (Fridays) using automation, but could not see a straightforward way to do so. 😞 I have to manually export the report to PDF, manually attach it to my Gmail and manually send it to stakeholders.Does anyone have a workaround for this?

Good morning, does anyone know how to properly get the Bot Icon to work with Slack?The instructions are: "The name of an emoji available to your team (wrapped in :) or a URL."I typed in various emoji's, with iterations of : around the emoji, spacing it out, adding in ' around the emoji, etc.Can't get it to work.

When creating a custom workflow within Slack - the workflow builder fails.The 'Select a record' action returns the following: "Sorry, there was a problem trying to add your step."Even if I use a SEARCH query such as {Project Name} = 'Adelaide Street' like I would do in Integromat.Is this a slack problem or an Airtable problem?

I am willing to pay for the project if someone is able to show me how/set up the scenario relating to the following...I am trying to create a report from one of my records. The record has multiple fields with multiple linked records I want to display in one document. It's important the the document is also downloaded in word, so edits can be made if needed. I have make.com, zapier accounts.Page designer is able to accomplish the basic design I am looking for ( I have shown a picture below), but I am now wanting to automate this with a checkbox. I understand this can be done in make.com however I do not have experience with JSON (which I believe you need).I am willing to pay for the project is someone is able to show me how/set up the scenario

I have a table from the Strategic Planning base I am synching to a table in the Marketing base.I created an automation to create a record in the Requests table of the Marketing base when a record in the synched table contains certain data.  This is working brilliantly.However, if someone changes a field in the Strategic Planning base (i.e. due date) base, and the date is updated on the synched table in the Marketing base, I want the data to update on the Requests table too.  I cannot seem to configure the update record automation correctly.Help!!! 

Hello!I'm trying to automate my email workflow using Airtable, but I'm encountering a limitation as I use AWS Workmail for my email service. Currently, it appears Airtable only offers built-in integrations with Gmail and Outlook.Is it possible to connect Airtable to AWS Workmail using the IMAP protocol, similar to how it integrates with Microsoft Exchange? This would allow me to automate emails directly from Airtable.I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or workarounds you could offer to establish this connection between Airtable and AWS Workmail.Thank you for your time and assistance.

We have a rather large table that needs to be updated/inserted with a datefield value from another table. This needs to be done only once.Table 1 is about 30K records.Table 2 is about 120 records.Table 1 (that needs to be updated) is linked to Table 2. I'm pretty sure there is a rather simple solution to this conundrum but I can't figure it out.

Hi all,I want to create an automation which creates a new record in Table B (=record B) upon the creation of a record in Table A (= record A).The title of the automatically created record(s) B should be coming from a multi select field in the record A BUT if multiple (n) things are chosen in record A then I want also n records and the titles should contain only one of the selected option.So as an example:I can choose "Red", "Blue" and "Yellow" in record A. The automation then should create 3 records in Table B: One titled "Red" one titled "Blue" one titled "Yellow" and NOT 1 record saying "Red, Blue, Yellow".Is this even possible? 

Hi there! I want to create two tables that create "matches" based on certain criteria's between the two tables. The one is for houses, the other for people who are looking for a certain house. As soon as a match is found, a signal needs to be send to a third party tool that sends the specific house to a person. The script that sends this signal to the other tool is already in place.Whenever a new profile is created or a new house is created/updated, the matching criteria needs to run (we primarly match on price, m2 and location).My initial thoughts are to run three separate automations based on the create/update triggers with a script that searches through the database.Is this the most effective approach or would there be a smarter way?

The script should: For parentTable (defined in config), when a record's value in a field (singleSelect defined in config) matches conditions (defined in config), then it should assign this record as parentRecord, and create a link child-record in a childTable (defined in config) and populate this record's primary field with the value from the parentRecord's primary field. I am having some issues with the config, and wondered if anyone knew how to fetch the options of a field specified in input.config.field so it appears as the options in a input.config.select dropdown list. Hello Everyone, I am trying to create an automation that sends draft social media posts for approval. The problem I am running in to is being able to reply to these actionable messages in Slack with text that will update an airtable field. So basically here is how the work flow goes. When a new post is created and is in draft it will send an actionable message to a slack channel with two buttons. The first button is "Approve" and the 2nd button is "comment". If the comment button is clicked I would like the slack user to be able to enter some text that will then update a field in airtable. I have been able to get the approve button to work but when the comment button is selected I do not get the option in slack to enter text. How can I solve this problem. I would appreciate your input. Thank You 

I am looking to get the user ID from the person who interacted with a Slack Actionable Message. From the Automation Run History, I see the User ID is saved, but for an audit trail I would like to automatically assign that user to the record they acted on.

I am creating an automation that sets a single select field from empty to "Date Changed" when my date record is updated.At the moment it works, but the automation is running when both a preexisting date is changed AND when the empty date field is first populated.I would like to the automation to only run when the date field has a value, and the value is changed. I do not want the automation to run when the date field is empty, and then a date is added.Is there a way to set this up using basic Airtable automations, or will this rely on a script.Side note: the goal of this automation is eventually to send a weekly email showing all rows that had a date changed within the past week. If I am approaching this the wrong way I am also happy to pivot, but the date changed status combined with a last edited time seems like the best way to put this together.

Hi all,I am using webhooks to catch website request for our services. On our site we have 6 pages that all have a contact form for their independent service. These are customized to the service. E.g. some will need an amount, some will need a timeframe, e.t.c.To illustrate and simplify my issue, let's say I have two. I have set up an automation:Trigger> Google sheets: when a row is createdAction 1> find records where REF is [value from google sheet column with REF #s, which should match airtable REF values]Action 2> update recordAction 2 is giving me trouble. I'm hoping someone can help me please. We are not having much luck setting up some simple automations. We've watched lots of videos and follow step by step but still can't seem to the do the following. Hoping some can give some very simple instructions aka: AirTable for Dummies 😂 A) When we update a record in one table we would like it to update in another table.  For example when the outcome or status changes of a product we would also like the outcome or status to change in a linked record. B) When we add a new record to one specific table we would like the record to be added to our all contacts table.    Thanks in advance! 

Is it possible to automate the status of read-only interface collaborators? For example, when the status of a collaborator changes to 'inactive' in my base, I'd like to remove them as collaborators on all interfaces. When their status changes to 'active', I'd like to remove their access to Interface B but preserve their read-only access to Interface A. 

I need help with script (or other way?) to merge Multiple rows with same "User ID". These aren't duplicate rows. They have 2 fields in them that are different in each of the rows with the same User ID but need to be merged to one row. Hi - I am just starting out with Airtable and I want to track my yearly memberships and send an automated email to the customers when they are nearing their 1 year renewal period. In that email I would like to include a stripe link that they can click on to pay for their renewal. Depending on their membership type, I have different stripe links. I am wondering the best way to do this? Here is what I have set up so far...1. Trigger - I have a filer view set to show records that match a certain condition.
