I'm trying to figure out a way to have some sort of pop-up window with filtered records based on certain criteria or simply just show a filtered main view.I've managed to create an automation based on a certain amount of days + a certain status. Works fine when I test the automation but I'm not entirely sure how I can show this within Airtable.The idea being that these customers are a priority so our sales guy needs to focus on this task first

Hello, I have a table with attendance records (which meeting participates complete via form), and each person chooses their 'team name." There's another field with "session" that is a dropdown (these are monthly meetings, so choices are November Monthly Meeting, December Monthly Meeting, January ..... it's a program that runs Oct - May, 8 months.)I have a Teams table and set a rollup field for each month that tells me how many attendance records their are, and restricted it to that one month. I did this for each month, so that will tell me how many people attended each month. However, besides the number I added another field for each month with a status. I am building an automation to turn the status to "attended" if the rollup field is not zero. (I wanted it this way so that I can change it to "excused" manually if they contact us to say they can't come.Here's my question: I know how to do a simple automation to turn each month's status to "attended" based

I'd like to send an email to a user when a Linked field is updated, but ONLY send the new updates, not the entire contents of the field.I'm working on a job board. I want to email the organization that posted the job every time a new applicant applies to their posting.I have two Tables – Users and Job Postings. The two fields are linked so that each Job record shows the Users that have applied to the job, and each User record shows the Jobs they have applied to.It seems like I can only email the ENTIRE "Users" field to the job poster through the automations creator. Ideally, I would send a daily email to the job poster with only the NEW profiles that have applied to the job.Any help here is appreciated!

I have a base for which I wanted to create a daily email automation. - Trigger - every 1 day at 8am- Action (find records that have tasks (a field) with a status of TO DO. - Action (send an email)It looks like in the email that I am able to do attachments and either use data from the trigger (at a scheduled time) or action (find records). But when I click on Find Records....it will not let me choose anything...I either see invalid choice for input, cannot assign list of string to collection of complex types. It will not let me attach they actual data! Any help is appreciated.

Hello!I have practically no experience with Javascript and scripting but I am turning to the Run Script in my Airtable automation as a last resort.In my automation I am finding a list of schools and then using a repeating group to go through each school and find values where the school is in the schedule table. I am running a script in this repeating loop to get all the entries in the schedule where the input value is from the schools. I am doing this so I can then order these according to start date which Airtable doesn't let me do.You can see my automation in the attached screenshot.The script is below and it works but I keep get an error on schoolName (which you can see in my other attached screenshot) telling me: Property 'schoolName' does not exist on type '{}'.(2339) Can anyone help? I don't really know why I am getting this error?

Hi!I'm trying to populate new records based on existing data and I'd prefer not to create a new table. Is this possible via an automation? Here's the use case:1. We receive letters from prisons across the country. When we have not previously received a letter from that facility, a user submits a form with the new facility and selects a state value from a dropdown menu that matches their facility (ex: AK)2. Prison policies are the same across states (all prisons in Alaska have the same length restrictions, for example), so I want to avoid the form-submitter from having to do the research again. Hi All I am attempting to create an automation where a project can be copied or duplicated to another tab with all of its comments still included on it and then deleted from its original location. Does anyone have an idea where I can do this?I am currently using an automation and a script to copy the project name and column fields but I am not sure how to also get the comments. 

I'm trying to get program participants' records to update automatically when they're listed in another table as having attended a workshop, but AirTable is requiring a Record ID and I don't know how to configure this such that it applies to all records in the table.

Can anyone tell me whether the automations will dynamically change their settings to use the renamed table as before - or do I have to manually re-configure them to use the new table name?Many thanks.

I have a series of formulas and automations set up to automatically determine a project's "project number". So I have hundreds of records in my "Projects" table. A dozen of them might have the same exact project number. This comes up pretty often.I want to create an additional field, that just automatically links all projects that have the same project number as each other. What would be the best way to do this?I have a feeling this might be a job for a script but I have no experience writing script. hello!I have a simple automation that finds a value in one record, finds the match in another table and links it in the source table. Hi,It's been several months since I've done this, but basically, I'm trying to send an automation from a clicked button in an AT interface to a Make webhook that I've created. The automation so far was when a button is clicked > run a script. I've been able to successfully pull in a test record id via the "when a button is clicked" stage -- my field is named "rec_id" with the autogenerated formula and that works fine.FYI--when I hardcode the rec_id in there with the actual value, it works just fine with significantly less code. So, for learning purposes, I have a next review date I input when I create a field.I've set up an automation to email me the matter of the field when the review date arises. I also want to setup an automation to increase the next review date by 3 days when the date arises.How do I do this? I can also see a specific date option in the date section of the automation.

I have two buttons on the same table, each triggers a script and then sends a webhook to a third-party service. One works and the other does not. During the debugging process, I copy and paste the exact same code into the two scripts, and one works, but the other always says "O: TypeError: Failed to fetch at line 10" and that's the line that triggers the Webhook. It's rather strange given the two scripts are identical. Is there any limitation that one cannot have two scripts within one table? To send automated emails to multiple contacts at once, we insert a rollup list of email addresses (associated with a parent item) to the BCC field of the email automation. Since the data we are sending is sensitive, we don't want recipients knowing who else has received this email.I've noticed that the entire automation will fail due to an "invalid email address" (email is typed correctly with no extra spaces, commas, or semicolons). Since the automation is BCCing ~20-30 different email addresses, one "invalid email address" causes the email to fail for ALL recipients. After investigating a bit further, some of the "invalid email addresses" are actually coming back invalid. How is Airtable assessing the email addresses before sending an email? I would assume that it would send, then I would recieve a "post-master failure" email in return (acknowledging the error). Does anyone know how Airtable is able to qualify email addresses before they are sent? Is it possible to queue records for processing with an automation, rather than processing them simultaneously? I have an automation that’s triggered by a record being created in Table A. The automation checks for records in Table B and if it finds a match it links it to the new record in Table A. If no match is found then a new record is created in Table B and linked to the new record in Table A. The problem I’m facing is that if two or more records are created in Table A in quick succession, the automation for the first record to be created hasn’t completed when the automation for the second record starts. This means that duplicate records can be created in Table B, when only one is needed. Is the only option to stop using the ‘When record is created’ trigger and instead build something that processes all new records on a schedule? It would have to run every 15 minutes as it needs to be close to real-time.

I currently have a script that is set to execute on the click of a button. It works really well, but I've increased the amount of records I'm doing this with and clicking the button 500 times, one record at a time, is quite tedious.The script is pulling in information from an API and due to AirTable's 30 second limit, it's only capable of doing a handful of records before failing.I've been trying to work with the automations tool to somehow mimic the clicking of the button one record at a time so that it can run the script for one record, finish the script, and then move to the next record, mimic the click of a button to start the script, and continue this until it's done it for each of the records.Is this possible at all? I've tried doing it for new records added to a view, but I would still have to add each record to the view one by one as it will group the records together and try to do them all at once when they're added to the view.

Is there a way to loop through each record found from the Find Records action, and perform a subsequent action for each individual record? As far as I can tell, you can only do something with the list of record IDs that result. I can think of workarounds but they are extremely complicated and I figured I'd ask to see if there's something a little more proprietary. 

Hi all I’d like to add a default number of ‘1’ in ten columns on a linked base - so that whenever a new record comes through from the ‘master’ base, it automically fills those columns with the number ‘1’. For some reason the default number option doesn’t work, and I can’t find any scripts that will work to be run as an automation to do this either. It feels like a simple request so hoping there’s a simple solution and I’m just being stupid… Thanks in advance, Curtis
