Hello Airtable Community, I am reaching out for some help with the creation of a board for an onboarding process for the new artists that are part of our platform. First I have all of the artists grouped by status in one table. I prepared a checklist of steps that are linked to collaborators in the base in a separate table. My goal is to populate a separate Kanban board with all of the checklist items appearing as cards in the Onboarding board with a due date based on the date that the record of the Artist is added to the Form view and status is set to “Pending”. I’m using Airtable to build a list of donors for our non-profit organization. The records are identified by the name of the donor. Some donors make multiple donations throughout the year. How can I reflect these frequent donations without building a whole new record? Thank you so much.

Hi all! I’m looking for a way to copy airtable record URLs in bulk. In order to find a specific record’s URL I need to right-click it and select the option “Copy record’s URL”, but how do I do it when I need to copy the URLs of 1000+ records?

I am trying to set this up. I have a Table with a list of companies, years, and list links where I got them from. I have another table with the list links, list names and years. I am trying to get the companies to merge into one source with the list names and years that they appeared. Images below - the one with colored multiple select is the similar to what I’m looking ot get as a result. Any help if all of the companies are in one table appended for each list.

Hi, I have a form in one table. I have duplicated the table because most of the information is useful in the second table. If I delete the form in the duplicated (second table) will that delete it from the first table? Thanks Rob

Hello all, I started a base and before I get too far I thought I might ask the community to help me start on the right track. I would like to track the fabrication of a lot of piping assemblies. Hi, I am trying to create the following relationship between records in the same table: I have a table called CONTACTS. I have a Linked Record Field called CUSTOMER which links to the same CONTACTS table (Multiple choice is activated). For Contact A I select Contact B in the CUSTOMER field. In return I want the the AGENT field for Contact B to automatically display Contact A. How do I format the AGENT field to do that? Thank you for your help! Tobias

I’ve got a base that I’m using for my Boutique Hotel, but I’ve made a mess of it while learning the ropes; so I’m starting from scratch. Is there a base design template that I could make use of? My Property Management System feeds in the reservations through Zapier, as is the Stripe Payments - I’m hoping to create a junction table to connect the stripe payment to the reservations table and the CRM table.

Is it possible to add users to the base and restricting them on a more granular level - prevent the user from deleting fields (columns) in the table. All other editing functions should be unlocked, that is creating views and deleting views even deleting records. I know at least in theory I could achieve something like this idea by using synced tables (?Right?), but I believe the synced tables add too many restrictions. I am wondering if there is any other way around the security setup for the user. To be honest I haven’t look too much around, just looked at the collaborators dialogue settings hoping I could see something like that there but it’s not there. Collaborating is something I haven’t used yet, so maybe I am missing something here? Basically I this is to create the limited user for myself. I am always concerned deleting fields by mistake. Hello everyone! I need to implement order creation in e-commerce. So, I have a “Products” table and an “Orders” table. The “Orders” table has a “Selected Products” field that is linked to the “Products” table. When a user selects a product, the link is implemented and all data from the “Products” is provided in the “Orders table”. There is such a case when the user must select the quantity for each product, and the total amount must be calculated accordingly. However, I have no idea how to bind each quantity for each product that is taken from “Products” table. Can you give any suggestions to solve this problem? I’m working on a base to track interviews. One thing that is causing confusion is the following: when does linking tables cause issues? For instance, in the screenshot, I’m worried that structure will cause issues since: company is connected to Contacts, which is also connected to Interviews and company is connected to Job Postings, which is also connected to interviews. My goal is as follows, when I have an interview, I would like to add a new line item in Interview and be able to pick the contact and the job (e.g. job 123, with the VP of XYZ). I am building a basic expense tracker. I have Transaction Types, Categories, & then Sub-Categories For example, I would like to input the sale of a commodity in Excel. “Transaction Type: Income > (Next Column will only select Income Categories) Category: Seed Sales >(Next Columns will only select Seed Sales Sub-Categories) > 2019 Alfalfa” Does AirTable have capability for this? I already created and tied together all my tags but the Lookup option is not the solution I was looking for.

Hello, I am a distributor with multiple resellers that I have to report back to the manufacturer with a summary of all reseller’s sales. I have identical tables for each reseller (things like invoice #, MSRP, discount, reseller level, etc,), they are all the same. I need a summary table that incorporates all the same information for all resellers so that it is basically a master table summary of all invoices (the individual invoice items do not need to be displayed here as it is on the reseller’s specific table), and grouped by year or reseller. I have tried a number of ideas and am not getting what I am looking for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Charlie-

I wonder if anybody found a solution to disable the key combo: Control + Del Command + Del Both key combos (I am on Mac) delete the whole record (whole row). That is sometimes a problem, I press accidentally the combination of keys rather than just Delete button. Often I find it very late and I don’t even know what record was deleted so it’s hard to go through backups. Airtable Application Menus (toolbar menus) are sparse and there are barely any commands in the application menus. There is no command there to delete the record. If there was, I could use replace ot disable the key combination in the keyboard settings. I looked into Keyboard Maestro, but that disables the key combination for any application, which is not what I want. The key combo is needed anywhere else, including the Finder app on Mac. Before I go and try to mess with the Karabiner app for MacOS, which may be able to disable the key combination for Airtable only. However, I do

We’re getting right at the upper limits of our attachment file size (20GB for the pro plan). It’s not going to make sense to upgrade to Enterprise, and we have plenty of space left for more records (35K now, and we will be archiving old records before we hit that limit). We’ve used Calculate Airtable Attachment File Sizes to figure out the biggest attachments and remove and archive them just as a stopgap until we systematically archive. My question is, when you have an attachment in one table, and look it up in another table, does that attachment count twice against your attachment size limit or only once?

I’m sure this has probably been posted in the community forum before, but just in case: It would be so beneficial to have notification badges on the table tabs (and/or on view tabs) when a new record is created. Airtable is by far my favorite software in my stack and, while I utilize it for many different purposes, I primarily use it as my CRM. Many of my tables are linked with Integromat to update automatically when I receive new orders, messages, payments, etc. Being able to see quick notification badges for table updates may only save a few seconds over manually checking each individual table - but, as a solopreneur with no tech experience to build my own custom solutions, those saved seconds would save hours in the grand scheme of “things”. If anyone has any alternate, creative solutions for this, I am always open to & appreciate advice and suggestions. :blush:

Hey all! So in an existing Google form, I have a “question” : now from my understanding, I couldn’t have a complex setup, so I’d have to have a field for each of those topics with a single select of low priority, med, high. However in a new Airtable form, I could just pull those fields under the question, Prioritize please, etc. Or is there some way to have a field for the question with those choices populated? Probably not. I mean I could have a synced table that has those subjects in it and then. well I don’t know LOL’ Just reaching out to see if there is a way so that I don’t have to create a field for all those topics with single selects. If not, not a biggy, as this table will only be storage for the data while the form will be the “pretty” part. Thanks!

I’m helping a nonprofit setup their membership system in Airtable. We have a Master Membership table with about 400 member records. Occasionally we get a CSV of member records that have renewed their membership. What do I do to update the Master Membership table using the renewals table? I realize this is a big topic, but I’m just looking to understand how to merge an update table with a master table. Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Hi everyone. I need your help please! (My first attempt in Airtable Community) Small but annoying issue for me here: Being on Pro Plan (50 000 records limit)/ Needing about 65 000 records within one base for “personal reference system”. Option 1: I could try and contact Airtable sales for “business” needs but am on a personal level, and once I get to my 65 000 records, it won’t grow much afterwards; PS: These 65 000 records are all interconnected conceptually wise and “must” stick together, so for now, I can’t see how I could split in two these records in two bases. Hi there. I have a base set up for my businesses orders. I have a table for all my products, a table for line items per quote etc. However if I want to change the price of one of my products it will alter the value of line items from previous orders. Which I use for historical reporting etc. Is their any way to hard code the price of the product at the time of purchase? Thanks Dan

I have a list of names that I am assigning to individuals. I need to gather the assigned names and then email them to those individuals. I can’t figure out the process… See the image for example… I would love to at least have a BUTTON field be enabled to do the send for each person OR an Automation that could send them all whenever I’m ready.
