Hi everyone!I’ve just launched a new Airtable extension called Text Cleanup Tools on the marketplace, and I’d love to get some feedback from the community. It’s designed to make bulk text manipulation simple - things like: Capitalisation / title case Find + replace Adding prefixes/suffixes Whitespace cleanup URL slug generation + URL encoding …plus a bunch of other handy utilities. A couple of nice quality-of-life features I’m proud of: Full undo/redo support Live preview before you commit changes We’ve been using it internally for a while and it’s already saved us a heap of time, but I’d really appreciate feedback from other real world users. Things we might be missing, workflows we haven’t thought of, or edge cases we should support. You can find it here:https://airtable.com/marketplace/blkhN5rtH7lR6D7q6/text-cleanup-toolsThere’s a generous free tier (I hope!), but as a thanks for any feedback in advance, here’s a coupon that unlocks the pro features for free: IWMJM1NA (curr
For anyone else who hasn’t had a perfect experience with the new Custom Interface Extensions, or like me has gotten this terrible message:{“error”: “FORBIDDEN”,“message”: “You can only run your development block in the original base where it was created.”}I have found a super easy solution. If you ask Omni to build you a simple custom interface extension, you can then go and hit “Edit Source” (right below the “Share Interface” button) and change the script however you’d like. I fed it to Claude, had Claude insert itself into the interface (plus it has Airtable MCP) and now have a simple RAG for my Airtable base. But you can really change the script however you’d like, without going down the CLI/Blocks SDK route.
Hi,I have around 50 users distributed in 20 roles and we are 2 creators. So far, my policy to manage rights is :- Open base for dashboards: creator rights for managers on read-only base containing only synced tables- Interfaces dedicated to every role: every operational role has dedicated interface with editor rights (with viewable/editable fields adapted to their function in the workflow)Drawback of this is:- users can’t share links to other teams from their interface since other roles don’t have access to them- managers feel they are hidden some information and regularly ask for access to other role interfaces- managers feel they could have improvements ideas for their interfaces by browsing through other team interfacesIn the long term, my perception is that granting rights when asked is a way to:- miss evolution of workflows/new needs for information- degrade user experience and efficiency since they will multiply click through other interface for a specific informationSo I mostly q
I am trying to integrate my Airtable project with Azure Devops and I find we can create or edit tickets using Airtable Azure Devops action in the automations. But I find this approach is in beta version. So when will Airtable wil make this as a stable version or is there any updates that is still going on. Like what's the meaning of the beta in this case? Any probable date when it can be stable and not in beta version?

Just upgraded our favorite iOS shortcut and had to share this with you all! Many users have been using this "Save AI Audio Notes to Airtable" shortcut for months, and the new version is more simplified and easy to use. You literally just speak your thoughts, and it automatically transcribes, structures the data with ChatGPT, and saves everything to your Airtable base. What I love most:- Records your voice notes instantly- ChatGPT processes and structures the messy transcript- Saves both the clean data AND original audio file to Airtable- One-time setup, no monthly subscriptions (unlike those $100+/year apps)The setup takes maybe 10 minutes - you copy a sample base, create an access token, and install the shortcut. That's it.You can use it for everything now - grocery lists, meeting notes, random ideas. The fact that it keeps the original audio means I never lose context, and the AI formatting makes everything actually usable. If you're already using Airtable and want to capture thoughts
This blog post by Airtable recommends using Airtable as a DAM (digital asset management) tool.My company uses Airtable as a DAM, and when I was a consultant, I worked on projects involving using Airtable as a DAM. Airtable's blog article leaves out a few concepts that you should consider if you want to use Airtable as a DAM.- Most DAMs also provide CDN (content delivery network) services. Airtable has stated that it is not designed to be a CDN. The loss of permanent attachment URLs matches the idea of Airtable not being a CDN. If you want to use Airtable as a DAM, make sure that you don't also need it to be a CDN.- Most of the systems that I have built for using Airtable as a DAM involved at least one third-party service, and some use multiple third-party services. Due to their nature, digital assets tend to be consumed outside of Airtable. Think through how you will integrate your Airtable content with where the content will be consumed. Make sure that wherever is recei
Page Designer is one of the oldest Airtable extensions around. It can be useful. But the limitations can be really annoying. One of the big limitations is that it's quite difficult to create multi-page documents. However, there is a workaround you can use and we demonstrate it in this video. We also show how you can overcome another Page Designer limitation - lack of automation - using DocuPotion.Hope it's useful and any questions let me know.Alex
Hey guys, I have been using Airtable for a few months now and am curious about potential cross overs to another of my favorite tools, Obsidian. Has anyone done any interesting experiments yet? or have any tips for me?
Hi everyone, we’re trying to hire someone to level up our Airtable setup and would love advice from people here who’ve scaled this kind of stack. Our setup today:multiple Airtable bases 500k+ records frequent archival work ~50 daily users integrations with Stacker, Zapier, Make, n8n, Supabase, and PolytomicAt this point, our challenge is less about building fast and more about building a solid architecture that scales and stays maintainable. We’re debating between profiles like:low-code builders backend/systems-minded engineers implementation consultantsFor those who’ve seen this done well, what type of person would you hire? What titles/backgrounds tend to work best? And what mistakes should we avoid?
This is being reposted.Hi Airtable Community,I’m looking for an experienced senior Airtable systems architect to help establish a clean, scalable foundation for an early-stage platform.I’ve begun development but am now looking to bring in someone who can properly structure and execute Phase 1.Phase 1 Objective: Create a functional onboarding and data foundation that supports user signup, access, and future expansion.Phase 1 Scope: • Design a scalable Airtable base structure (users, onboarding, content access)• Build a working signup flow (form → Airtable → email capture)• Integrate with existing landing pages for onboarding and access• Ensure the system is clean, organized, and ready to scaleWhat success looks like: • A fully working signup/onboarding flow• Clean, understandable Airtable structure• Clear path for future expansion without reworkWhat I’m looking for: • Strong systems thinking (architecture, not just table setup)• Experience with onboarding flows and integrations• Ability
Looking for an Airtable systems architect who wants to help build something from the ground up—for the right reasons. We’re starting with a limited budget. This isn’t a high-paying contract. It’s an early-stage effort driven by purpose, not profit. We’re a civilizational artifact to be presented as a book to the global audience, and need help creating the foundational system to introduce it: Airtable connected to a website to support onboarding, access to content, and simple contributions/donations. That’s where it begins. From there, it grows. The vision expands into a virtual/digital platform over time—publishing, participation, community systems, and more. The person who steps in now won’t just be executing tasks—they’ll be helping shape what this becomes as it evolves. Compensation will evolve over time as the project evolves. We’re looking for someone who:• Is comfortable working initially with limited funds.• Believes in contributing to something meaningful beyond compensation alone
We are seeking a consultant to assist in designing and implementing a unified system to manage household repair construction program workflows from intake to project closeout, contractor engagement, and compliance reporting across multiple funding sources. This opportunity will require experience in Multi-team workflow design.
Airtable has just released a popup to allow cookies on all embed views making my app not usable anymore....Each time I refresh the page, the same popup is displayed !How can I get rid of this popup allowing cookie ?Thank you for your help!

Hi everyone! I'm Vaibhav — I run a small no-code agency and I've been building Airtable systems for 4+ years, mostly for US-based startups, founders, and operations-heavy businesses. My Upwork profile has the full picture (97% Job Success, Top Rated, 43 completed projects) but the short version is: I help people turn messy spreadsheets and manual processes into clean, automated systems they actually enjoy using. What I work on most:Airtable base design — CRMs, operations databases, inventory systems, hiring pipelines Automations via Make.com, Zapier, and native Airtable Airtable + Softr combos — client portals, internal dashboards, role-based access tools Integrations with Stripe, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Slack, DocuSign, and more Interface Designer — building views that real users (not just admins) actually want to openA few recent things I've built: a courier tip automation system connecting Softr, Airtable, Make.com and Stripe; a non-profit community marketplace; and a full selle
I am looking for systems automation for Real Estate workflows in key areas: Lead Generation (Open houses leads, Facebook Ad leads, Website Leads, Cold Calling from a dialer) and lead organization from old sources (business card exchange, written notes from incoming phone calls)/spreadsheets (Google Sheets & CSV)/CRM (LionDesk)/dialer (MojoDialer). Onboarding Buyers with white glove service/follow up (from Lead Generation, to follow up, to appointment, then signing buyers as clients, through the escrow process and retention as a fan) Currently on Airtable but not fully built or automated Onboarding Listings with white glove service/follow up (from Lead Generation, to follow up, to appointment, then signing the sellers as clients, through the escrow process and retention as a fan) Currently on Airtable but not fully built or automated Email drip for clients from different lead sources, then into a main drip system for the Real Estate team updates (on the market, on SOLDS/LIST
Hello,I've built and optimized an AI Slack bot for quick AI actions. It's built on top of my existing powersync architecture - which allows to connect Airtable and Slack.I think there's an advantage in a narrow AI like this over generic AI agent with access to Airtable via MCP.A generic AI agent utilizes the MCP to fetch more context. It might load the schema, or extra information from Slack and then start performing actions. This AI bot has context carefully prepared ahead of time. That means it can act quicker - there's no need to rely on reasoning (which slows things down) and also it doesn't require a large model, it can get a way with smaller but more performant one.The overall promise of such AI bot is to act quickly in Slack when needed - add tasks, manage activities, add contacts, log standup records. The admin UI allows to define a precise boundary - which tables and fields can be accessed and if records can be created, updated or both.Additionally - once a record is created, th
Hey there Builders! 👋I just dropped a toolkit so you can vibe code your ❤️ out with Airtable's Custom Interfaces. It’s made building custom interfaces unbelievably faster for me.Custom Interfaces let you build dashboards, forms, charts, and interactive tools that live right inside your base. They're incredibly powerful, but they require React code. Though with the help of Claude and this toolkit, this isn't really a problem anymore for my non devs. Vibe code away! 🚀The toolkit has two parts:1. An SKILL.MD file that teaches Claude (or any coding assistant) how to code with entire Interface Extensions: reading data, writing data, custom properties, every field type, dark mode, Tailwind setup, and common mistakes to avoid. Upload it to Claude Projects and you can describe what you want in plain English. 2. Reusable helpers for the patterns every extension needs: safe field access that doesn't crash on missing fields, linked record pills that match Airtable's native UX, inline field edit
Hello to all Airtable fans!I am making a game on Airtable. It's a football manager or a football club simulator. When I started the development, I set a condition for myself - the game will be played using only the built-in functionality of Airtable - data, forms, interfaces, automations, scripts. No external integrations that take the game's logic outside. Developing this game for me is primarily about exploring the limits of Airtable's capabilities. The gameplay is quite primitive for now - you can buy/sell players, conduct training, send a team to a game, match generation, stadium expansion.I am now recruiting players for the first test season.Registration requires an Airtable account (I will share interfaces). A love for football or football managers as a game genre will be a plus)))For communication, we will use Slack.Follow the link for registration:https://airtable.com/app4yD2wv3ksj9DvX/shrZdcgQvw3oXdXe9
I’d love to see an integration or extension for Airtable that enables automated image generation using data from records. Many teams—especially in marketing, eCommerce, and sales—often need to create social media posts, banners, product visuals, or branded creatives. Doing this manually is time-consuming, especially when the content changes frequently.Use Case Examples: Marketing Teams – Automatically generate social media graphics or ad creatives based on campaign details in Airtable. E-commerce Businesses – Create product banners that update dynamically with new prices, SKUs, or images from Airtable records. Sales Teams – Generate personalized outreach banners using client-specific fields (like name, company, or offer). HR & Internal Comms – Design recruitment creatives, event posters, or announcement banners based on internal data. How It Could Work: Users design image templates with placeholders for text, images, and colors. Airtable data fills in these placeholders dyn
Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for my next long-term role as an Airtable Specialist / Operations Manager.I have extensive experience working with American startups and firms, focusing on: Custom Scripting: Writing internal code to solve complex business logic. Airtable AI: Implementing native AI to supercharge manual workflows. Advanced Automations: Building seamless syncs between Airtable and the rest of the tech stack. I’m a big believer in "building it right the first time" so it doesn't break when you scale. I’m looking for a team that values efficiency and high-quality data architecture. If you’re hiring or need someone to own your Airtable systems, let’s chat! Reach me at dgpb27@gmail.com or send me a DM.
Hey community!!From March 1 to March 17 builders from all over the world have been really pushing Airtable to it’s limits working on their submissions for the Airtable Community Led Hackathon!I was absolutely impressed to see stuff built that I had absolutely no clue Airtable was capable of doing (I really mean it. In fact I submitted a small demo of my own as well, with features I did not know existed). If you want to get your mind blow away, make sure to take a look at the different submissions for this year’s edition (Theme: Let’s Play). Also, make sure to like those videos you enjoy the most, as the most liked YouTube video will be winning the Baefulencer award!!!!!!Mike, Consultant @ Automatic Nation YouTube Channel I’ll be sharing more on this later today!
Hello! I’m looking for my next opportunity (Full-time/Part-time/Contract). I specialize in high-level Airtable development with a heavy focus on Automation and AI.My Experience Includes: Working with US companies to automate core business processes. Coding custom scripts within Airtable to handle complex logic and API integrations. Airtable’s latest AI features to summarize data and automate decision-making. I’m used to fast-paced environments and high-level requirements. If you need a robust system that runs itself, I can help you build it.
Hi!I've been building a platform called powersync that aims to provide easy-to-setup real-time functionality on top of Airtable. Besides an existing `schema changelog` engine that allows to track changes to fields and tables in an airtable base, the platform now also offers these bi-directional airtable record -> slack message flows. On the powersync side you select a base, table and a condition for sending messages to slack. But as opposed to native integration, the Slack message also updates if the Airtable record updates. And there's an option setup editable fields and custom flows on emoji reactions.I'd like to do more in this area, perhaps a configurable AI chatbot to do CRUD operations directly from Slack. Or sync of all slack messages back to Airtable. The overall goal here is to empower users where they already are (Slack) and allow them to do quick actions without having to context switch. This engine is now in beta and free for the time being, later it will have usage based p
