Request: Allow Label Image in Interfaces to be Collaborator image (from Collaborator field)

Especially for the calendar view, if I could select the label image to be a collaborator field, so that it uses the collaborator's Airtable image, I think it would be really nice.That's it, really. I hope this made sense.

User defined dynamic filter for shared link - (application: product finder)

Context.  End user tool to help filter many products to a manageable few, filtered by users' selected constraints.  They can then drill into detail (data sheet attachment column) and ideally, select a subset of filtered products to get more info on.   Single table. ~400 products. 8-10 attributes any of which may or may not be selected/filter-constrained by user. *Dynamic filter:  from https://support.airtable.com/docs/shared-view-url-filters  I figured out how to collate filters   (  ..airtable form URL....?filter_sensitivity=presence&filter_colour=silver&filter_mount=wallCurrent thinking (please guide/correct me):1)  Customer (on mobile) clicks through to form  (imagine 10 drop down (attribute) boxes, appropriately labelled)2) Submit/Find button generates dynamic URL from user selection which filters shared grid view *(above)A)  My understanding is Airtable is unable to generate dynamic URL from a form submi

Publishing Filtered Results on Interface

Hi,This is my interface page where I select investor from the dropdown. I have added a filter below and I want the filter to have the value selected from the dropdown.I understand that this kind of dynamic value setup is not possible in airtable interfaces as of today. So I am thinking of using airtable automation.Now when the user clicks the Set Carrier button, a script runs saving the name of the selected carrier in a variable. I can add a 'Find Records' step in the automation to use the same variable and filter the results. Now is there a way to publish the output of Find Records back to the interface page? I am able to see the records while testing automation. However a feature that can publish these as a list on the interface page would really be helpful. Any thoughts/suggestions? Or is this kind of setup possible only through a third party tool?

Bug in Forms: Date field in Form Submission adds 24hrs to date in this instance

Just found this while tinkering. If anyone else could test, I'd appreciate it.Steps to recreate: Add record via form in interfacesMake sure the form submission has a datetime field, and set that field's default value to Current Time.Toggle off 'Allow users to edit this field'.Submit formWhen the record is created, the date field will have 24 hours added to it.I originally thought it had something to do with my timezone settings and GMT, but when I toggle on 'Allow users to edit this field', the 24 hours is not added to the date field on record creation.I have a video here that shows it happening to me.

Customizing Linked Record Lookups

Hello,I have a linked record and when adding it to a user interface there are to "appearance" options 1) Pills; and 2) Cards. I am testing out a new build and with the linked record set to "Cards" I see the normal card view, however another user testing shows a "List" view. I am not seeing how one user could see a different layout than another. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thing is I actually like the "List" view but cannot figure out how to change it to it. Looking forward to any ideas.

Simultaneous edit using interfaces

How can multiple users use the same airtable interface simultaneously?My interface is as follows 1. User selects investor and sets it by clicking a button. 2. The investor is saved in a temp table with a flag set as true 3. The user sees a list of startups and makes a selection of some startups by checking a checkbox 4. User selects a campaign date from a dropdown 5. User clicks on button to schedule. Button starts an automation that gets the carrier name from temp table only after seeing the flag as true, the list of startups that were checked and creates a row in the scheduler with the campaign date. After doing so it resets the startup checkbox and ready to schedule flag. Now if this above feature was to be used by more than 1 user at the same time, what changes would I need to make to my existing flow? Is there a way to retrieve the user id somehow?

Duplicate Interface into another Base

Is it possible to duplicate an interface into another base? It's a lot of work to re-create, and would like to avoid if possible. If not, is this a feature airtable is currently working on?

Can't modify record details layout anymore

I'm in the process of building a first app and suddenly I'm having a weird problem which is driving me nuts.In the past I was able to edit the record details page layout at will. Ie. resizing elements, reordering them to be side by side and adding text elements etc. Now for all the new record details pages I add (new and old interfaces), I can't seem to do that at all. Additionally in the side menu I have a text "This is a new record details layout experience." when it doesn't work. On the old record details pages no such text exists. Also the add element button is missing entirely on these problem pages so I can't eg. add any clarifying texts anywhere on the page. Did Airtable really kill that major bit of functionality or am I just doing something stupid? I can't find anywhere any info on what the heck this "new record details layout experience" is actually supposed to mean compared to old way.

Building a Digital Planner

Hello,I'd like to create a Digital Planner like this one. It seems the Interface Designer lack of feature or may be I don't know how to do it.TopLeft component should be a Record Picker but it seems AirTable only allow Select Box UI not Calendar UI (month) ?Middle component should be Calendar UI (week). It can be  filter on current Record but the date can't be position to current record's date ... the visible range is 00h to 23h30 it can be narrow...Left CheckList can be done with List filter on current record but can't resize title, only add a prefix field.OK : Other fields, description, ... OK : Media field in CarouselAny suggestion to improve the UI ?Thanks !

Format interface buttons in record detail

Hello, Does anyone know how to format buttons in an interface record detail?For example, I would like to move the buttons around and have all 3 be the same size and display at the same time instead of having the weird drop down menu. Also I would like to reorder the position of the buttons.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Permission data via Interface

I've to create interfaces to access to our base, but users that logged in have to see only its own data (user is linked with each row in the database).So they can read, modify data linked with their accountHow can I do this in Airtable? or have I to use only the base and automation and develop interfaces via 3rd parties like Softr, Glide or others?Thanks

Good morningat the interface level when adding a new customer, is it possible to find a solution for duplicate customers (who have the same telephone number)??The objective is to distinguish duplicate clients or, if possible, block the addition of a duplicate client.for example color duplicate records or add a new field that counts if the same number repeats or use a script in the interface

Shared Interface not Displaying on Android App

Hi,Someone shared an Air Table Interface with me and made me the editor.  When I accept the invite and logon with google on a PC, I'm able to see the interface and access it.  However, when i'm on my android phone and try to access it via the Android app, nothing is displaying.  The Recent tab has a message "No Recently open apps", and when I selected the "Starred" tab, it also said "Nothing Starred yet".  Try to browse, nothing is displayed.  The notification on the app does show a message that someone is sharing the interface with us, but nothing happened after we  click on the notification as well.Any ideas?ThanksDat

Interface Timeline Formula

I am looking to find a formula that takes you right to the Interface from the source table, with the record expanded on the right side inside the Interface and also specific to what ever is pre-selected on the "Drop Down" option. So I want it based on the user that is selected in the drop down, in this case - I am working with a timeline. Any suggestions? airtable.com/appID/pagID/recIDThanks!

Problem...A business software license broker has 200+ records of inventory available for lease. Currently she sends her customers a link to a google sheet. Then they email her back with what they have picked, and the deal moves down the pipeline. There are issues with follow up and communication which result in a lot of missed opportunities. Each deal requires several variables be determined such as Price negotiation, length of term, location, server hosting requirements, etc. additionally there are document generation issues which further slow the process, purchase orders, nondisclosure agreements, and sales contracts. These are all generated by hand allowing for additional project slippage.In an attempt to automate this process she moved the inventory records into a base and created some views then created some forms to allow provider/vendors to easily add new inventory offerings via an embedded form, or she could easily enter it herself while on a phone call. This has proven success

Decimals limit in Interfaces

Hi Team,Would it be possible to limit the number of decimals in Interfaces charts? Please see the example below. The data is not very legible because there are too many decimals after the coma, when calculating an average. Thanks

Request: Pass collaborator ID on interface button press

I’m really enjoying the new collaborator views on interfaces. But I wish buttons could pass the collaborator information of who pressed them, especially for automations and scripts.It solves the problem of multiple collaborators checking the same checkbox, getting the collaborator information from a last modified by field, and waiting for an automation to uncheck the same checkbox so someone else can do it. I don’t know if it’s a tall ask, but it’d really help me refine user-specific controls and automations. thanks!

Show more lines of field

I have a linked field in my Customer’s Table called services. On the interface page I want to show the notes of those services. Currently I have a Gallery View, but you can only show 4 lines of the field. Is there any way to show more information without having to click and open the Service? Or is there another way to show this data? Thank you,

How often must a form password be reentered?

I have enabled Airtable's native password protection feature for my form created using the Interface Designer. When someone navigates to my form's URL, they need to enter the form password in order to access the form.How long can someone access the form after entering the form password? When testing on my computer and phone, I noticed that I can continue to access the form for about 24 hours after first submitting the form password without having to submit the form password again. After that time, I am prompted to reenter the form password. Does Airtable require the password to be resubmitted every 24 hours?

Prefill a form password

Is it possible to prefill a password for a form?Something like this: https://airtable.com/baseID/pag23482374823/form?prefill_password={password} This would be really helpful because sometimes I need to send a form with sensitive linked records to people who do not have base access.

Missing the "add element" button in interface editor on IPad Safari

When I am on Safari on the iPad I cannot see the “add element” button on in the interface editor.  I can see this button when I access the same interface but using Linux/Windows.

How to delete an interface LAYOUT

How do I delete an interface LAYOUT (i.e., when I click on a linked record on a page and it opens another page in the drawer with a customized LAYOUT). I have a whole bunch of excess layouts that I was experimenting with and it has made a mess of my ability to apply the right layout setting because the dropdown has tonnes of bad layout options that, and I like to delete them so that the don't get inadvertently applied across my interface. SCREENSHOT:https://www.screencast.com/t/SiKFWk30oXjA

How to print interface? Ideally would like it to be a button.

I am trying to find a solution to printing interface out tasks in a A4 portrait Layout, but currently if users print its several pages of mess. I have build a page layout in extension 'Page Designer' but unable to create this as a button as to allow the users viewing in interface to be able to print the details. Any Ideas how to print interface? Ideally would like it to be a button as I need it to be user friendly, who have only Interface viewer access only.

Presenting stacked information as a single select in a form

Hello,I'm created a registration form. I need the users to select their specific identification information. The information is stored in another base. I can create a link to the appropriate base field and this information will display in the second bases registration form. However, the information is displayed as a single row and it's a long row of information that gets cutoff in the form. I want to stack the information. I tried using \n creating a line break however, rtf data is not passed through a linked primary field (I can only link a primary field).Any suggestions for using one base that stores the following: State, award number, award titleand linking that information to another base as a selectable field in a form?

Interfaces Bar Chart Default to Stack

Hi There, Wondering if any one has noticed that the bar chart in interfaces by default is set to stack and there is no option to change it. Also there is no way to change the format of the data presented. If any one knows otherwise gthat would be great help.
