I’m encountering a problem where certain lookup fields are not displaying any information even though the record they are supposed to pull from clearly has all the information. See my screenshots below. Anyone know what’s going on here? Is it a bug?

Hello - I have two separate tables in separate bases in separate instances - is it possible to display the information from one to the other and vice versa?

Hi, I have a base with a number of views, one of them which is Grouped by a field that uses attachments. Is it possible to somehow show this image next to the name of each group? For example, rather than just having grouped sections comprised of the field name and value in pure text, a thumbnail of their attachment image would be visible. Would be a nice touch to make it more visual. Chris.

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to Airtable but it looks extremely powerful and I’m pretty excited about what it can do. I do have one question though – is there any way to store Users in a base? In particular, I’m asking about users that would need to log in to a website so there would be a password field. From what I can see, there’s no way to hide the contents of a field and I don’t think storing a password in a base would be secure enough. Does anyone know much about this or any workarounds? Thanks!

Instead of the attachments showing as icons is it possible to store a clickable list similar to MS Access?

I am trying to show 3 different fields in the calendar. I found post about using a formula to make it happen but i am new to airtable and am not exactly sure how to make a formula for my case or that it is even possible since i do not need any math done. What i would like on the calendar would be the following fields - Event ID, Event Name.and Organization Name. Any advise on this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I want to add contributors to a base, they won’t be allowed to edit the basis, they will be able, only, to add and modify records, but not to change the base structure, formulas, etc. Is that possible? How I will be charged for therm? thank you for your help.

Hi All, I have a scenario where I need to have a formula that looks at all of the dates and picks up the earliest/first one as the "Initial Enquiry’. However not all of the fields are filled in there are fields that are empty as not everyone was enquiring for the particular developments. I have this formula: MIN( VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #1},‘YYYYMMDD’)), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #2},‘YYYYMMDD’)), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #3},‘YYYYMMDD’)), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #4},‘YYYYMMDD’)), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #5},‘YYYYMMDD’)), VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date Field #6},‘YYYYMMDD’)) ) However, it doesn’t seem to capture the empty fields hence it is giving ‘error’ as the result. i’m using the CSV import app to create a list of unique people who have attended all our events. i match the people using their email address and create new people if they don’t exist. one of the fields is a related record field that relates to a tab with a list of all the events. that field allows for linking to multiple records. however, when i import the list of attendees from Event 2, it overwrites all the data in the Events Attended field, so that Event 1 disappears. my preferred outcome is that Event 1 and Event 2 appear in the Events Attended field. how do i solve? thanks!!

Hi there! I am building a RASA chat bot in which one of the custom actions is writing user input to a airtable via REST api. Everything works fine locally but when i host the bot on okteto cloud using docker, i am getting connection refused error. Is there any changes i need to make to my dockerfile or docker-compose for this to work?

I know this has been discussed a few times but I want, not a how to but opinions, on what the best backup solutions for Airtable are. Here is my situation. I have two Airtable accounts, one for personal and one for business. I have two Google Drive accounts, one for personal and one for business. The personal accounts are free, the business accounts are paid for. So, to save cost and ease of use (since you can’t log into two accounts at once from either Airtable or Google, I share my personal accounts with my Work account, and always log into my work account. Here’s what I want. I want a way to Back Up my work AirTable account. I tried the Sync to Google Drive function, but since my personal bases are included with my work bases, ALL of the bases come into my Google Drive. Here are my questions. 1: When syncing with Google Drive, it makes an Airtable folder. If I rename this folder, will the sync still work? 2: If In, in Google D

First time posting. We currently have a membership Access DB that we wish to have online. We have about 500 current members with about 30 columns of datafields in addition to the basic name surname address es etc etc. Which is best ?: To try and import all the existing data and try to recreate on AirTable or to start fresh and create the new DB adding whatever columns/fields we want and then selectively import into the columns from a .csv file? We would wnat to have varius reports or views such as expired memebrships, current or active, deceased, free statuts. paid up . overdue etc etc.

Just wondering if someone could please link me to or provide me the configuration that needs to be adjusted in order to affect the fields displayed on the card that pops up when you click on a linked record? The view-by-view reordering of fields doesn’t seem to affect this card. There is an interface for configuring the Kanban view, but not sure where to find the same functionality for the more general card that pops up, in any kind of view, when clicking on a linked record. Hey everyone, I have been tasked with taking an existing base, and transforming it into a linked, automated, wonderful work space and looking for help on where to start. The base has multiple tables, none of which are linked but this is something I need to put in place. I also need to create a task management table, or dashboard where multiple users can assign tasks and be up to date on projects. Hi fellow airtable users, I’m trying to build a no-code solution with Airtable, Memberstack, Webflow and Zapier and I’m stuck with the airtable design for the set up. Here is a gist of what I’m trying to achieve through this. I’m using Webflow/Memberstack as my front-end to create a place where a user can customize an ecard to be sent to one or multiple email recipients. My first step is to collect an image and a text for the inside of the card via a form(I created an inside info table for this) and another form to collect the back image and text for the card(used another form and a table called back info). I would like to link the 2 tables(inside info and back info) using a common identifier(not sure what that is to be. Maybe it should be an email field), but at the same time need to know that the 2 records belong to the same card. How do I set this up? Hi Guys, Is there a way for deleting a record across two bases using a trigger? The watch record trigger in integromat only detects for created and last modified record/field. I would love to have a watch trigger that detects deleted record as well. For example, if I delete a record in Base1, it would automatically delete same record on Base2. So I have a table called “US states”, which other tables have linked fields to. One issue I encounter often is that when I have a form in a different table and add a field called “Select state”, which is linked to the “US States” table, I often have people who fill out the form start typing in the state and accidentally insert a new State (sometimes misspelled or sometimes just the abbreviation) thereby creating a new record in the linked “US States” table. Is there a way that a linked field in a form restrict creation of new records and only allow users to select from the list of linked records?

Hello, I am wondering how you can prefill a form where the field type is “Checkbox”. For instance, I have a Contact Info form I send new clients. I have two Checkbox fields that I do not want them to see but would be helpful for me to be checked. When checked, mark the client as being an Active Account and an Active Contact. Field Names “Act. I have a field for employee names created. It’s a single select field with all their names available to choose. Right next to it I have an email field. I’d like it if when I choose a name, their email address automatically populates in the field next to it. Can someone help me figure out how?

Hi, I am new to Airtable and I am trying to migrate my studio’s crate inventory (crates contain artworks that we ship to museums and then back to us). We used an excel sheet unto which we had a ‘‘history’’ box. That is where we’d manually list all the previous locations with the years of where a specific crate had been shipped before returning to us. Is there a clever/simple way to keep track of such info in Airtable? Like a tab that keeps track of each crate’s previous locations when we update its current location? I hope this makes sense, thanks y’all!
